The Sham Impeachment of Donald Trump Reaches the Senate

Senate-passes-impeachment-proceedings-against-witnesses-in-early-Wednesday-morning

The sham impeachment led by the congenital liar in chief and House manager Adam Schiff and his fellow cohort in the Senate the equally lying and scheming Chuck Schumer finally made its appearance in the Senate.

Both sides made their case for and against Trump. Every word out of the House lawyers and especially Schiff was a bald-faced lie. The hearings started at 1 p.m. and went well past midnight and both sides were told there would be three 24 hour hearings to decide what rules to have and state their cases. Justice John Roberts of the Supreme court presided over the hearings.

I started watching it at 1 pm and stayed with it until 10 p.m. during Sean Hannity’s show. The house Dems main theme was the lack of aid Trump gave to Ukraine while Ukraine was attacked by Russia. Trump attorney Jay Sekulow stated that Obama refused aid to Egypt when they needed it and was an important ally to us. I think he should have emphasized that Obama refused to give aid to Ukraine for three years and Trump gave them the aid after 57 days when he knew we could trust the new administration coming in there.

Sekulow also brought up how Schiff completely falsified the letter Trump sent to the Ukraine president and read it aloud to the American people  which is a crime in itself.

And so it went for 12 hours at least. Everything the house lawyers and Schiff brought up was so minuscule and minute that they tried bundling together and taking statements Trump out of context to make it look like he committed high crimes and misdemeanors when he didn’t. All this to fit their agenda and stick to the definition of impeachment.

Everything Schiff and the House lawyers said was a bald-faced lie. For three years Schiff said he had evidence of Trump/Russia collusion. That was a lie. He told reporters there was more than circumstantial evidence of that collusion. That was a lie. He sent a memo out saying FISA abuse did not exist. That was a lie. He fabricated a fake call the president made to the Ukranian president and read it to the American people. He claimed Trump tried to coerce the Ukrainian president into rigging the 2020 election. That was another lie.

After claiming an overwhelming case for impeachment, the House Dems are now moaning about fairness in a senate trial. They are urging the Senate to subpoena witnesses they were supposed to subpoena.

Trump attorney Pat Cipollone said the impeachment articles show no case of wrongdoing and that the Dems are trying to remove Trump from the 2020 ballot.

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts warned the attorneys for President Donald Trump and the House impeachment managers to watch their tone as the first day of the proceedings wound down. Roberts told both sides to “remember that they are addressing the world’s greatest deliberative body”:

His comments came after some late-night fireworks between Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), who is one of the House impeachment managers, and Trump attorney Pat Cipollone.

Nadler called Trump’s legal strategy “embarrassing” and took the Senate to task after a series of party-line votes that will not allow for witnesses or new evidence: So far, I’m sad to say I see a lot of senators voting for a cover-up, voting to deny witnesses, an absolutely indefensible vote, obviously a treacherous vote,” Nadler said. He also called it a “vote against the United States.”

Cipollone fired back: “The only one who should be embarrassed, Mr. Nadler, is you for the way you addressed this body. This is the United States Senate. You’re not in charge here.”

Roberts told both of them to back off and warned others to do the same.

Republicans want to call Hunter Biden in and interview him.

Democrats are so afraid of Hunter Biden testifying in the impeachment trial of Donald Trump that they would rather have no impeachment witnesses than risk the country hearing his testimony. During an interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Nadler said Democrats would not be willing to negotiate on witnesses for the Senate trial. In fact, he suggested that any attempts by the GOP to block or negotiate on witnesses were tantamount to a cover-up.

Meanwhile, Trump is over in Davos, Switzerland meeting with other world economic leaders and touting the greatness of our economy which is now No.1 and the envy of the world.

The democrats have done nothing, zero, zip, nada for the last three years to help the people who elected them and to make us safe or for prosperity except sit on their fat rear ends and complain and talk about impeaching Trump. Maxine Waters said even if Trump is acquitted they will bring on more charges and impeachment articles. Meanwhile, her and Pelosi’s districts are falling to decay and filth and they have done nothing to save them.

Trump has accomplished more in three years for everyone and is making us safe again. He’s killed two of the top terrorists, made two of the top trade deals with China and USMCA Canada and Mexico, gave us the biggest tax cut, cut burdensome regulations, opened the keystone and Dakota pipelines, opened ANWAR making us energy independent for the first time in 75 years, created 8 million new jobs bringing people off of food stamps and out of poverty and for this they want to impeach him. They are the ones who should be impeached and thrown out of office. Maybe they will in nine months in November.
