President Donald Trump will receive his daily briefing then the president and first lady will present the National Medal of the Arts to actor Jon Voight, singer Alison Krauss, the musicians of the U.S. military and Sharon Rockefeller. They will also present the National Humanities Medal to author James Patterson, chef Patrick O’Connell, the Claremont Insitute and Teresa Long.
