Montgomery County Named One Of The Worst ‘Sanctuary Communities’ In The US
Montgomery County, Maryland, a jurisdiction that has witnessed a string of rapes by illegal aliens, has just been placed on a list of “worst sanctuary communities” in the entire United States.
The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), a legal organization that works to reduce illegal immigration into the country, released a top ten list of the worst sanctuary communities. The list was based on crime statistics and other details since their respective sanctuary policies were adopted, which largely prohibit local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities.
Tied for fourth place was Montgomery County. The wealthy jurisdiction — run by Democrat County Executive Marc Elrich — has experienced a number high-profile rapes and other sex crimes by illegal immigrants since Elrich signed “The Promoting Community Trust Executive Order” in July that helps protect undocumented aliens from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehension.
“Sanctuary policies are absolute poison for America,” Dale L. Wilcox, the executive director and general counsel of IRLI, said in a statement. “They are unconstitutional — a violation of the Supremacy Clause — and threaten the integrity of our republic. More importantly, sanctuary policies bring violent crime and murder that is entirely preventable.”
“This is a list of shame,” he went on. “Political leaders who advocate for and defend sanctuary policies are directly responsible for the lawlessness and human suffering they have inflicted on their communities. The law-abiding, legal residents of these communities need to know that their leaders have prioritized the interests of often violent illegal aliens over them.”
There have been at least eight illegal aliens who have been accused of rape of other sexual crime in Montgomery County since July 25. The specific cases have been gruesome in detail, with an 11-year-old girl allegedly raped by two men, and another 16-year-old girl raped at knifepoint.
The string of sex crimes have brought national media attention to Montgomery County’s government. However, local leaders have hit back strongly against the criticism. The county council issued a statement a statement earlier in September, accusing “President Trump, Acting USCIS Director Ken Cuccinelli, local and national conservative news outlets and neo-Nazi sympathizers” of spreading misleading information about their criminal justice system.
Despite the rape and sexual assault allegations, the Montgomery County government will continue to ignore detainer requests made by ICE officials. ICE and immigration experts have lambasted county leaders for their reasoning to not honor detainer requests of illegal aliens in their custody.
Montgomery County was tied at seventh place with Fairfax County, Virginia, a jurisdiction that is only about 20 miles away. Prince George’s County also landed on the list at number eight. The three counties, which together total well over 3.1 million people, all closely surround the Washington, D.C., area.

These ‘havens’ for criminals and corrupt officials are holding law abiding citizens hostage and adding to the already too long list of Angel Moms & Dads…….while they are free to wander into other towns committing crime there and running back to their safe sanctuary!!! Those that are able to pick up & move are & those left behind live in fear…not freedom
I can’t imagine that our State & Federal government can’t do something! I can’t say what I’d like to do.
HOWEVER, we have elections coming up and campaigns underway. If “we the people” wish to remain a nation governed by the people…FIND A CANDIDATE AND WORK !! Complaining to each other lets off steam, just doesn’t move the train.

I cannot understand how or why elected officials are fine with encouraging these actions upon our citizens as well as how and why elected officials are fine encouraging illegal vermin to enter the U.S. then denying our own citizenry the right and ability to defend themselves by proclamation!
What was most tragic this occurred in a LIEberally mandated gun free zone where my son “obeyed the law” and paid for it with his and his fiancée’s lives. I make it a point to NEVER be in a “gun free zone” as I carry no matter if I am in a mandated gun free zone and no one is the wiser.
I see red whenever I hear a “bleeding-heart LIEberal” cry about injustice of “poor law abiding migrants” treated like the scum they are!!! Or how effective disarming law abiding citizens save lives. This was one of the most gratifying days of my life I am old enough to remember when mentally ill people were put in hospitals not in congress!!! Sadly the scumbags we have as “Faux Statesmen”, would rather focus on non issues rather than solve the real problems they create. I would not be the least bit surprised to learn that these cartels who deal in wholesale misery to the American people are BRIBING influential politicians into siding with them in order to obstruct and circumvent U.S. Law!!
I have found that victims who shoot back tend to live longer only to be arrested and put in jail for exercising their God given (innate) and Constitutionally protected right to protect themselves!! There is definitely something seriously wrong with Lieberal politicians!!!
