Senate Intelligence Committee Finds no Evidence of Trump-Russia collusion

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-NC) and ranking member Mark Warner (D-VA) have been leading the Senate’s investigation into Trump-Russia collusion.

The Senate Intelligence Committee is coming to the end of its investigation into the 2016 election and collusion between Donald Trump, his campaign and Russia collusion. After over 200 interviews and two years of investigating, the committee has found no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion.

“If we write a report based upon the facts that we have, then we don’t have anything that would suggest there was collusion by the Trump campaign and Russia,” said Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, in an interview with CBS News last week.

Democratic Senate staffers have admitted anonymously to NBC that Burr’s comments are accurate, but they say they lack context because Don Jr met the Fusion GPS lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and Trump joked about calling on Russia to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails. Democratic staffers have yet to say if this was evidence of collusion what was Mark Warner’s texting and interactions with Oleg Deripaska’s lobbyist? Adam Schiff on video was seen trying to get compromising photos of the President from Russian pranksters, was that collusion?

This news comes as indications are showing that Robert Mueller’s investigation is coming to an end and as House Democrats have soured on Mueller; who they used to say that anyone who criticized him is a traitor.
