TMZ Lied: Chicago Police Say Attackers Didn’t Shout “This is MAGA Country” at ‘Empire’ Star Jussie Smollett
Chicago Police did confirm that “Empire” Actor Jussie Smollett has been hospitalized after a possibly racially motivated attack at a Subway store at 2:00 AM.
TMZ reported that “sources close to the Actor” said “he was walking to Subway to get something to eat at 2 AM when 2 white men wearing ski masks put his head in a noose, poured bleach on him and screamed, This is MAGA country!”
According to TMZ, someone also yelled, “Aren’t you that fag*ot ‘Empire’ n-word?”
After TMZ’s report came out, Aa large amount of skepticism arose about the claims because in Chicago they are being hammered by the polar vortex and the assailants clothing would have resulted in frostbite in short order. The claim that two Trump supporters were just waiting with rope and bleach at 2 AM for some celebrity to attack makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. In addition in Illinois, much less Chicago, saying “This is MAGA country” could get you shot.
Well, that skepticism was completely justified and it would later prove to vindicate the skeptics as Chicago police said that there was no report of the attackers saying “This is MAGA country” and the gender of the attackers remains unknown.
A police spokesperson told the Daily Beast, “That the attackers’ genders are unknown and that their faces and hands had been covered.” TMZ claimed that the attackers shouted “This is MAGA country,” but police told the Beast, “There is no report of that being said.” There has yet to be any counter evidence proving that it was said. Heck, this could all just be a P.R. stunt by Smollett.
If the Buzzfeed fail wasn’t enough, the Kavanaugh debacle didn’t make it clear and the Covington smears didn’t turn you away, you should reconsider everything the establishment media says after this story.
The truth may be out there, but they have little interest in it.
Jussie Smollett has been released from the hospital and should make a full recovery.
