Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Identifies Criminal Alien and Gang Members
EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley arrested a criminal alien and two gang members in three separate incidents.
Wednesday night, McAllen agents working near Hidalgo, Texas arrested a Salvadoran man. During processing, the subject’s record checks revealed he is a Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member.
Thursday, Fort Brown agents working near Brownsville, Texas arrested a Guatemalan male whose record checks revealed a prior arrest for attempted sexual assault. The man received five years in prison.
Today, Falfurrias agents encountered five illegal aliens on ranchland near Falfurrias, Texas. During processing, records revealed the Salvadoran male to be an active member of the Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang.
The Border Patrol is processing the subjects accordingly.
