Graham after Kavanaugh Confirmation: ‘I’m not tired of winning’

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham wasted no time celebrating Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court on Saturday.

“I’m not tired of winning……..Victory!” Graham wrote on Twitter just after the Senate voted 50-48 to confirm Kavanaugh.

Graham also expressed gratitude to Maine Sen. Susan Collins and Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, two Republicans who were on the fence about voting for Kavanaugh.

Graham was one of Kavanaugh’s most ardent supporters during the nomination process, mounting a spirited attack against Democrats during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing regarding allegations leveled against Kavanaugh.

“This is the most unethical sham since I’ve been in politics,” Graham said during the Sept. 27 hearing.

“Boy, you all want power,” Graham continued. “God, I hope you never get it. I hope the American people can see through this sham — that you knew about it and you held it. You had no intention of protecting Dr. Ford. None. She’s as much of a victim as you are.”

Three women came forward to accuse Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct when he was in high school and college.

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who testified to the Senate Judiciary panel on Sept. 27, alleged that Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault her in the Summer of 1982, when she was 15 and he was 17. Deborah Ramirez claimed that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her in 1983 at a dorm room party at Yale, where they both went to school. Julie Swetnick also accused Kavanaugh of being present at parties where girls were gang raped.

Kavanaugh denied all of the allegations.

Collins and Flake called on the FBI to conduct a short investigation of the allegations. The White House ordered the probe, which failed to produce evidence corroborating any of the claims about Kavanaugh.

  1. Every time I read another article about the Kavanaugh confirmation it makes me think that the one’s who think he is guilty & should not be confirmed are the same people who are upset about innocent people who have went to prison for something they did not do.

  2. razier has a good point….”a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways” (James 1:18) I also agree with Graham’s remark “you want all the power”

Strong Republicans and the like minded under a strong leader is the oppositions worst enemy and a huge set back to their ‘One World” project.

We are at a pivotal and critical point that will determine the future of this magnificent land we call home. Will WE the people govern….or will we BE governed by the delusional ideology of others ????

It’s a choice that require FULL participation by EACH of us….We can surround them with OUR choice of candidates and WIN!!!!
