The race is between Troy Balderson (R) and Danny O’Connor (D) with the most-recent poll showing the Republican with a razor-thin lead (Monmouth +1). Green Party candidate Joe Manchik is also on the ballot but has received no more than 5% in recent polling.

The winner will finish out Rep. Patrick Tiberi’s term which goes until January 2019 and be up for re-election in the November 2018 midterm election.
