National Beer Day falls on April 7 every year celebrating the anniversary of the passage of the Cullen-Harrison Act of 1933 that made beer containing 4.05% alcohol by volume legal for sale and consumption in the United States. Whether you want to join in the festivities for history’s sake or your own, here are some spots with deals on suds.
Restaurants, Bars and More Places Celebrating National Beer Day
Applebee’s: Applebee’s is offering $1 margaritas — or Dollaritas — every day in April, which includes National Beer Day. It’s not beer, but it is a cheap drink. The beer gods would approve.
Bahama Breeze: The chain offers a special way to celebrate National Beer Day with the Ultimate Coronarita, a margarita and beer mash-up, which starts at $11.99.
Olive Garden: Through May 27 or while supplies last, the Italian restaurant is serving a 22-ounce Blue Moon Belgian White in a commemorative pilsner glass part of Blue Moon’s Artist Series. The limited-time glasses are available to take home with or without the purchase of a beer for $2.99.
On the Border – The Mexican chain restaurant will offer $3 domestic drafts and $6 Coronaritas (a margarita with a Corona stuck in it) all day long.
Spaghetti Warehouse: 22-ounce draft beers are $5 all day on National Beer Day at participating Spaghetti Warehouse locations.
Uno Pizzeria & Grill: Through Saturday, get a $10 pizza and beer dinner, which includes a choice of any individual deep dish pizza or Chicago thin crust and any 14-oz craft beer with a coupon posted on the chain’s Facebook page.
World Market: Through Saturday, members of the Explorer Rewards program get 30% off all beer at participating stores.
