Hellfire and Brimstone! Hillary Could Go from Politics to Preaching

Hillary Clinton is NEVER going to go away.

Like the stench of a rotting attic rat that ended up trapped inside a wall, she is going to continue to linger despite her resounding rejection by voters last November.

A recent report has Mrs. Clinton starting to hire members of her doomed political campaign for her “Resistance” PAC, a move that shows that she still may be considering getting into the Democratic Party field for 2020.

But it is another story that is mind-boggling to the extreme, especially for a woman as vile and malevolent and oozing with evil as Hillary.

Mrs. Clinton is reportedly pondering becoming an ordained minister and getting into preaching.

Hillary Clinton wants to preach. That’s what she told Bill Shillady, her long-time pastor, at a recent photo shoot for his new book about the daily devotionals he sent her during the 2016 campaign. Scattered bits of reporting suggest that ministry has always been a secret dream of the two-time presidential candidate: Last fall, the former Newsweek editor Kenneth Woodward revealed that Clinton told him in 1994 that she thought “all the time” about becoming an ordained Methodist minister. She asked him not to write about it, though: “It will make me seem much too pious.” The incident perfectly captures Clinton’s long campaign to modulate—and sometimes obscure—expressions of her faith.

Now, as Clinton works to rehabilitate her public image and figure out the next steps after her brutal November loss, religion is taking a central role. After long months of struggling to persuade Americans that she is trustworthy, authentic, and fundamentally moral, Clinton is lifting up an intimate, closely guarded part of herself. There are no more voters left to lose. In sharing her faith, perhaps Clinton sees something left to win, whether political or personal.

Once you stop laughing, understand that the move makes political sense.

Hillary would not be the first scoundrel to use religion to launder her reprobate image. Preaching fire and brimstone would also guarantee that Hillary grabs plenty of media attention as she promotes her upcoming book What Happened?

Real Christians aren’t likely to be swayed if Hillary goes Elmer Gantry. They are well aware of her history even if the sheep in the Democrat flock aren’t. There isn’t enough holy water to wash away Mrs. Clinton’s sins.

Many people are actually convinced that Satan is really a woman and a Democrat at that. Hillary has done nothing to dispel such suspicions and a phony turn to religion won’t do it either.
