Tim Tebow Runs Hitting Streak to Seven Games

A return to the state of Florida seems to have done wonders for Tim Tebow.

The New York Mets prospect, former NFL starter and Florida Gators great has been on a tear since being promoted to the St. Lucie Mets.

After hitting a home run in his first official at-bat, Tebow has thrilled the locals and had another hit in Saturday’s 3-2 win over the Jupiter Hammerheads.

While a New York Mets official seemed to be derisively speaking of Tebow when he seemed to downplay that he was anything more than entertainment, the miracle man continues to improve.

Whether that improvement will end up with him getting another promotion – maybe even to the big leagues – remains to be seen.

But fans are showing up in droves to cheer for one of the truly good guys in sports.
