Fired FBI Director James Comey will testify Thursday about his conversations with President Trump during a hearing in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
According to the statement, he will confirm Trump’s statement that Comey had confirmed that the president was not under investigation.
The document also shows that he felt no pressure to end the Michael Flynn investigation after having talked with Trump.
If Comey sticks to these prepared remarks, Democrats are going to be eating a gigantic nothing burger – again. Democratic Senators got testy with the heads of the intelligence community in a Wednesday hearing when they were offered nothing scandalous during questioning.
