Having had their brains battered into jelly by months of media hate-mongering and propaganda, the left is entering a stage of increasingly rapid deterioration.
On Wednesday, CNN’s longtime New Year’s Eve hostess Kathy Griffin was forced to apologize for images that showed her displaying a replica of President Trump’s bloody head. It was not only macabre beyond belief but resembled recruiting material for ISIS.
Griffin ended up being fired by CNN and has since hired a celebrity lawyer to play the victim but it was a revealing view into the sickness of the left who have gone totally berserk after Trump won the election.
Only days later, another liberal hero has gone off the chain to reveal his true colors.
The foul-mouthed sacrilegious pothead Bill Maher slipped up during Friday’s weekly show and dropped the inflammatory racial pejorative “n*gger” during an interview with Never Trumper and Republican Senator Ben Sasse.
The Nebraska lawmaker is the perfect example of a test tube politician straight out of central casting and while his appearance was a part of the promotional tour for his new book The Vanishing American Adult, he got more than he bargained for.
Maher’s comment drew immediate condemnation and proved that when it comes to Democrats and the left, that hypocrisy is the coin of the realm.
The smarmy provocateur was forced to apologize after the network condemned the host’s use of the offensive term as “inexcusable and tasteless” which could arguably describe the majority of Maher’s weekly rants.

Fox News is reporting “Bill Maher apologizes after HBO calls his use of N-word on his show ‘inexcusable’”:
Bill Maher apologized Saturday for using a racial slur on his HBO show “Real Time” as the cable network responded to growing backlash after the host used the N-word, with the network calling his comment “inexcusable.”
Maher wrote in a statement Saturday that he regrets using the slur to refer to himself as a house slave during a segment on his show Friday night. He wrote that he slept poorly Friday night after realizing he shouldn’t have made the remark.
Maher was having a back-and-forth with Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., when the senator invited the liberal talk-show host to visit his state.
“We’d love to have you work in the fields with us,” Sasse joked.
Maher responded, “Work in the fields? Senator, I’m a house [expletive].”
Some in the audience groaned and a few clapped. Maher appeared to quickly reassure the audience and said, “No, it’s a joke.”
“Bill Maher’s comment last night was completely inexcusable and tasteless,” HBO officials told the Hollywood Reporter. “We are removing his deeply offensive comment from any subsequent airings of the show.”
The New York Times reported that the word was not cut out during HBO’s rebroadcast at midnight.
Sasse did not address the comment and the two moved on to another subject.
Maher’s use of the incendiary word wasn’t merely a slip of the tongue either. The host seemed to be casually using it which would lead one to suspect that he is a closet racist and that it’s part of his everyday lexicon.
But while Maher is going to be able to weasel his way out of this jam, the same may not be the case for Senator Sasse who by all appearances, is being groomed by the GOP establishment for a future run for the White House.
The Nebraskan earned high praise during the primaries when he emerged out of nowhere as a vocal critic of Mr. Trump. While he was being prodded by the likes of neocon Bill Kristol to run as a third party alternative, he was soundly rebuked by the Nebraska GOP over his renegade stance against Trump who won the state’s primary.
Rather than seize the moral high ground by chastising Maher, the starstruck Sasse just sat there with a goofy grin on his face. He did engage in a half-assed attempt to explain himself via Twitter but he came up lacking in a crucial moment to define himself.
While the full-fledged member of Republicans Against Trump (R.A.T) took to Twitter to engage in some early damage control it is likely that his failure to respond will result in him being collateral damage to Maher’s racism.
Going forward, some of the shine will be missing from Sasse’s halo, it may even adversely affect his book sales but once a R.A.T, always a rat.
Maher will fly low under the radar for awhile but everything will soon be forgiven as long as he continues to use his show to serve as a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party and assume his rightful role as the Pope of the religion of anti-Trumpism.
