Now that the long holiday weekend is over, the mercenary media is getting back to business and that business is the overthrow of President Donald Trump.
The key to what is an Obama legacy intelligence operation to oust his legitimately elected successor has been a constant media stream of unverifiable stories based on unnamed sources and there is no end in sight.
This morning, the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” aka CNN wasted no time in serving up a piping hot nothingburger with egg and cheese with a bombshell that is guaranteed to feed the daily news cycle.
There are two common threads in nearly every story published by the New York Times, Washington Post and CNN. One is that all are filled with sleazy, McCarthyite accusations that the president and his administration are secret Kremlin moles. Two, is that all of the stories are based on unnamed sources and therefore unverifiable.
According to CNN’s big scoop, Russian officials were picked up by U.S. intelligence allegedly discussing “derogatory” information that they possessed on President Trump and his associates.
The basis for this accusation: “two former intelligence officials and a congressional source” and if you are beginning to notice a common thread here, none of them gave their names.
But that’s good enough for CNN which may as well be making this crap up as they go along and like the the other anti-Trump propaganda organs, they seem to be working hand in hand with the DNC, Hillary dead-enders and deeply embedded Obama loyalists still in the government.

According the morning crew at fake news central “Sources: Russians discussed potentially ‘derogatory’ information about Trump and associates during campaign”:
Russian government officials discussed having potentially “derogatory” information about then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and some of his top aides in conversations intercepted by US intelligence during the 2016 election, according to two former intelligence officials and a congressional source.
One source described the information as financial in nature and said the discussion centered on whether the Russians had leverage over Trump’s inner circle. The source said the intercepted communications suggested to US intelligence that Russians believed “they had the ability to influence the administration through the derogatory information.”
But the sources, privy to the descriptions of the communications written by US intelligence, cautioned the Russian claims to one another “could have been exaggerated or even made up” as part of a disinformation campaign that the Russians did during the election.
The details of the communication shed new light on information US intelligence received about Russian claims of influence. The contents of the conversations made clear to US officials that Russia was considering ways to influence the election — even if their claims turned out to be false.
None of the sources would say which specific Trump aides were discussed.
But CNN is actually admitting that their own bombshell may be total hogwash:

Obama’s former intelligence director and serial liar James Clapper has been making the media rounds lately to make the sales pitch that Trump colluded with Putin to steal the election from poor Hillary.
With media whore and shameless showboat James Comey now out as FBI Director, it is the Obama lackey Clapper’s job to keep the cloud of suspicion over Trump until the Deep State is able to manufacture a case that would justify his impeachment.
The POTUS quickly took to his weaponized Twitter feed to blast CNN:

That this story was ready to roll first thing this morning is a sign that the little elves were very busy over the long weekend and the CNN tale is only breakfast. Look for the Washington Post and New York Times to deliver their servings of anonymously sourced fake news right on schedule to make the evening news cycle just in time for dinner.
