On Friday, Hillary Clinton told a group of her donors that half of Trump’s supporters were part of a “basket of deplorables.” The other half are just tired of a Democratic administration failing them.
As Clinton only delivers well rehearsed lines from her group-think writers, this appears a tragic faux-pas where Hillary just went off-script, off her meds or just … off. But that doesn’t work when you consider she pushed the same ‘basket of deplorables’ concept in an interview on Isreali television.
The line was meant to cast a shadow on anyone that might consider supporting Donald Trump. If you do, you are deplorable or in a basket … or something.
