The Five Stages of Democrat Grief After The Mueller Report

5 stagesofgrief

Special counsel Robert Mueller has issued his report, and it turns out after two years of investigation, at an estimated cost of $40 million, that “Russiagate” was fake news. Much to the dismay of Democrats, Mueller found no collusion between the Trump presidential campaign and the Russians to influence the 2016 election.

In the end, Mueller’s $30 million investigative apparatus failed to produce any evidence of collusion between President Trump’s 2016 election campaign and the Russian government, despite nearly two years of intense effort by Mueller’s team of partisan lawyers with extensive ties to the Democratic Party.

As it turns out, the investigation was, indeed, a witch hunt. With its failure to uncover any evidence of collusion, though, Mueller’s probe led to the revelation of something even more profound — a systemic plot to overthrow President Trump from within the federal government that the American people elected him to lead. Mueller’s findings demonstrate, beyond a doubt, that high-ranking government officials with access to sensitive information and extensive influence over the justice system abused their power to give credence to made-up allegations against the president.

Not to even mention the corruption that went into getting Clinton off the hook for real crimes with real evidence. The evidence? A phony dossier filled with salacious but unverified claims about Donald Trump that was bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign as many have been stating from the start.

Democrats and other liberal supporters are going to have a hard time recovering emotionally from this upset after two years of cheering Mueller’s witch hunt on, wearing t-shirts supporting him, celebrities making public statements supporting him and even naming their dog after him. Now that he said there was no collusion they are all turning against him and ready to throw their idol under the bus.

On her show this week Laura Ingraham outlined the five stages of Democrat grief they will have to go through. These stages are:

  • Denial: Their expression of disbelief that this isn’t happening.
  • Anger: Pundits wonder how Mueller could let trump off the hook.
  • Bargaining: The last gasp of a dying fantasy.
  • Depression
  • Acceptance=Vengeance: There is no acceptance with Dems so they will resort to *vengeance by more investigations, slander and assorted besmirching, false accusations and any assorted filth they can come up with. They will never accept that they lost just like they won’t accept that they lost the election.

President Trump has made a big point of exposing how fake the mainstream media is in its’ reporting. Most notably CNN and MSNBC.

Three CNN journalists, including the head of the investigative unit, resigned in June 2017 after they incorrectly reported that Trump adviser Anthony Scaramucci was under investigation for alleged ties to Russia. The story relied on one unnamed source and claimed that Senate investigators were looking into whether or not Scaramucci discussed lifting sanctions with a Russian banker prior to Trump’s inauguration. CNN apologized to Scaramucci for the false story.

The same month, CNN claimed that former FBI director James Comey would testify to Congress that he never told President Donald Trump he wasn’t under investigation. Comey’s prepared testimony said the opposite.

In December 2017, the network erred again when they accused Donald Trump Jr. of having special access to Democratic documents and emails stolen by WikiLeaks. CNN claimed Trump Jr. received an email with an encryption key to view the stolen documents on September 4 — well before they were released publicly on September 13. However, Trump Jr. actually received the email on September 14. CNN updated the story.

CNN also repeatedly claimed that 17 intelligence agencies reached the conclusion that Russia meddled in the 2016 election. Only three agencies reached conclusions about Russian meddling: the CIA, the FBI, and the National Security Agency under the aegis of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The New York Times had to issue a correction for the false claim about 17 agencies, but CNN never did. Former CIA head John Brennan said his assertions were based on bad information.

Another oft-repeated false claim from CNN is that Republicans funded the Steele dossier that alleged Russians had dirt on the president that could be used to blackmail him. Republicans paid for opposition research against Trump from Fusion GPS but stopped paying the firm well before it contracted with Christopher Steele to compile the dossier. That research was paid for solely by the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign.

President Donald Trump said former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page committed treason when they took steps to investigate his possible ties to Russia during the 2016 campaign.

“They wanted an insurance policy against me,” Trump said Wednesday in an interview on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program, the president’s first since Attorney General William Barr announced on Sunday that Robert Mueller had found no coordination between his campaign and the Russian government. “And what we were playing out until just recently was the insurance policy. They wanted to do a subversion. It was treason. It was really treason.”

“If the Republican Party had done this to the Democrats, if we had done this to President Obama you’d have a hundred people in jail right now, it’d be treason,” Trump added.

On Monday, Trump said “people out there” had done “treasonous things against our country” and called for an investigation into their actions, without specifying what he meant.

“We can never allow these treasonous acts happen to another president,” Trump said.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Monday confirmed he would be investigating alleged FISA abuses by federal authorities at the beginning of the Russia probe. He also called on Attorney General Bill Barr to appoint a special counsel to examine the “other side of the story” including the FBI and DOJ’s anti-Trump bias during the Hillary Clinton email probe and the Russia investigation.

Strzok was fired from the FBI after officials discovered he had been sharing anti-Trump texts with Page, an FBI lawyer and former member of the Mueller investigation with whom he was having an affair. When the Justice Department inspector general informed Mueller about the messages, the special counsel removed him from his team.

Now that they have all been found guilty of their own collusion to spread lies about Trump they are scrambling to protect their image and are rationalizing like crazy.

The idea that Russians somehow manipulated the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, with or without collusion from the Trump campaign, is absurd.

The American system works, and we have a president who is fixing this country. These are the truths that Democrats find most difficult to swallow.
