Questions Arise from Unexpected Wal-Mart Closures
Customers and employees are skeptical of Wal-Mart’s claim that “plumbing” is the reason for suddenly shutting down five stores for several months.
In addition to the Tulsa location, supercenters in Brandon, Florida, Pico Rivera, California, Midland, Texas and Livingston, Texas, were all closed Monday, with only hours of notice given to employees.

While the company is citing plumbing issues, posts across the internet guess that the closures are due to everything from shoplifting losses to recent employee walk-outs over pay to preparation for FEMA camps.
