Chick-fil-A Bully Adam Smith Clears The Air In New Video

I’m So Sorry!

Adam Smith berates a Chick-fil-A employee, got fired, and now has released a new video apologizing to Rachel, who was his drive-thru victim.  He goes on about how she handled his rant with grace, patience, and apologizes for his actions.  He wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.

Then…he explains why he went to Chcik-fil-A and went on a rampage.  He says his “main goal of supporting the gay community outweighed the collateral damage that Rachel became” and admits that he only saw her in that aspect.  He then details how we need to stop “rationalizing our destructive actions this way…we need to start seeing people as people.”  He admits he failed his own test.

He claims the reaction to his video took him by surprise. Really!?  The kids bullying that poor old lady on the school bus wasn’t a clue that this sort of behavior is anathema to American society.  However, he says that the passionate responses from his video were encouraging.   If people can be that fervid about him bullying a woman in a video, imagine the enthusiasm Americans can exude concerning equal treatment of “their fellow human beings whose basic rights are being threatened by corporations like chick-fil-A.”

Lastly, he said his “not a gay in me” comments were intended to convey the message that “you don’t have to be gay to be for gay-rights.”

Correct. Men can be feminists and whites can be abolitionists.

Mr. Smith, I strongly disagree with you with this video, BUT this tape would have saved you the ire of the masses and loss of employment.

Like a typical liberal, you let your emotions jump into the driver’s seat and you overreached.

Enjoy the seven minute clarification if you wish.

P.S. Check out Wikipedia’s Page on Eller College. I wonder what bully they’re referring to in the opening paragraph.  HAHA!

  1. If companies are people and people vote with dollars then the destination of the restaurant’s donations are open for public debate. It very well should be an issue as to where peoples’ hard-earned money goes after the chicken goes down their gullet. This issue has made our little feathered friend the modern martyr as Chick-fil-A laughs all the way to the bank. Watch the poultry be nailed to the cross and pierced by the spear of destiny at the hands of those devious cows on my artist’s blog at https://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2012/08/holy-rollin-poultry-on-cross-chick-fil.html

  2. What I can’t understand is why a company standing up for its values is vilified like this – no, why people GET AWAY WITH vilifying it like this. The multiple, egregious flaws in the arguments this man spouts should disqualify him from being listened to, pure and simple.

A true “debate” on substantive issues – “gay rights” or abortion or a dozen other controversial topics – doesn’t happen in this country; we have people who “preach to the choir” on both sides instead of trying to actually PROVE THEIR POINTS.

The source of the problem? Relativism and the belief their is no absolute truth. Without that, we just talk past each other, and arguments just escalate. Soon we will have riots and anarchy over these divisions. It’s time to get some real DEBATES going on these issues, and RESOLVE how we will handle them.
