California Passes Bill to Move 2020 Primary Up Four Months

Just call it the Kamala Harris plan. The radical leftist Democrats who run the California state legislature as if was the old Soviet politburo have made another early move to hijack the 2020 presidential election.

In addition to a bill that could potentially keep President Donald Trump off of the ballot, state Dems have also passed another to move the 2020 state primary up four months.

If successful, it would allow the party establishment to give the identity politics queen Harris a formidable early boost and put insurgents like Bernie Sanders at a serious disadvantage as they would be playing catchup for the duration of what would be a very short process.

It’s nothing short of diabolical and Hillary must be kicking herself for not coming up with the idea first.

According to The Politico “California lawmakers green light early primary in 2020”:

California lawmakers sent Gov. Jerry Brown a bill early Saturday that would move the state’s 2020 primary election up three months to March, bidding to exert greater influence on the next presidential nominating contest.

If signed into law by Brown, the early primary could dramatically alter the shape of the next presidential race, forcing primary candidates to compete in a state that has long languished as an afterthought in national elections.

California would allocate its delegates just after early nominating contests in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina.

If we want to assert our values and the issues that we think are important, I think it behooves California to assert its authority and its values much earlier on in the process,” Democratic state Sen. Ricardo Lara, the bill’s author, said after the legislation passed. “The candidates are going to be forced to campaign in California.”

The last obstacle to this chicanery is Governor Moonbeam but it’s hard to see him not signing it considering that he is a morally bereft party hack to his very core.

There will be opposition from other states who will surely fight to retain their own places in the pecking order and many will recognize this as an attempted hostile takeover by a one-party state ruled by extremists.

It won’t be easy to get other states to simply fall in line and it may very well backfire on Sacramento and the Democrats who are launching a blatant attack on the existing democratic process in order to rig the game.

  1. If I were a Republican Candidate I’d tell my supporters in Californicate that while I dearly cherish their support I won’t be campaigning in Californicate and spend that money where it would actually have a chance of swinging a State not yet completely off its rocker!

    I’m for Californicate seceding!
