U.S. Needs Jesus In the Forefront Again to SUrvive as a Free Nation

THE U S A NEEDS JESUS IN THE FOREFRONT AGAIN IF WE ARE TO SURVIVE AS A FREE NATION

This nation, the United States of America, was established near the end of the 18th Century and was based on the premise that success was the result of the “protection of Divine Providence”. Today many people are either ignorant of the founding principles or desire to abolish liberty based on them. Our founders wrote of their faith in Almighty God in the Declaration of Independence but some say that the founders were actually atheists who denied the existence of God. I fail to understand how looking to “the protection of Divine Providence” is in any way atheistic. God has blessed this nation greatly because it has historically been a “good and moral” nation that has sought God and His ways for us, a nation that James Winthrop called “a shining city on a hill”.

Jesus came to earth as a man to suffer and die for forgiveness for everyone who will call on Him but many reject that sacrifice because they are arrogant and stupid. I have been ridiculed in the past for my belief and will be ridiculed in the future but ridicule never has intimidated me in the past and won’t intimidate me in the future. The only way to gain eternal life is to accept the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the path to Heaven, and to embrace His teachings in the New Testament of the Holy Bible.. The islamic teaching that murder and hatred is the way to Heaven is a lie from satan himself and the secular humanism belief that each of us determines right from wrong is just as deceitful and false. Each person is free to accept or reject salvation through Jesus as they wish but I suggest acceptance now to avoid the rush when Judgment Day rolls around because it will be too late when one is standing in front of God being judged. I am not suggesting that accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior makes me any better than anyone else but I am stating the words out of the Gospels that tell me that my sins are covered by the blood of Jesus, and that salvation has been given to me as a result of me accepting His sacrifice and giving my life to Him. I try every moment of every day to live each second in obedience to God and when I fail I can repent and be forgiven, just as if it never happened.

In discussions with non-Christian people I like to ask a question: If I am wrong what have I lost? I have lived a good life, treated people as I want them to treat me, and will leave people with good thoughts about my life. IF there is no after-life, what have I lost? If I am right and you choose the other path, what have you lost? I hope that question will at least make some people stop and consider eternity, or the possibility of eternity, for a few moments. What, indeed, have I lost if the Holy Bible is all an elaborate lie and my earthly life is all there is? Before you laugh at me think about it for a while because even if I am wrong about an after-life in eternity I will still be remembered fondly by people whose lives I have touched and if I am right, which I am, I will live for eternity in the bliss of Heaven. I can be happy here on earth and be well thought of in posterity simply by following in the footsteps of Jesus and living by the concept of “the golden rule”, treating others with kindness and consideration as I want them to treat me. How many people who hate the concept of God are happy and treat others according to “the golden rule”, putting others first? I don’t know any and moslems are a prime example. The base premise of the koran, the “satanic verses” as described by the author and former islamist Salman Rushdie, is that hatred and killing anyone and everyone that does not agree with YOUR concept of islam is the way to heaven. If that is true, which it isn’t, then I don’t want to spend eternity having to hate everyone I disagree with.

Moslems kill other moslems more often than the kill us “infidels”, and destroy mosques of the other sect on a regular basis. I remember an incident in Iraq where moslem terrorists fired on American soldiers then hid in a mosque to continue the firefight. American bullets damaged the building and moslems, along with their satanic brethren in the lamestream media, were furious. President George W, Bush, bowing to political correctness and wanting to appease the minions of satan, sent billions of dollars to repair the damage but before the repairs could be made the other branch of that satanic cult blew it up with a truck bomb. While Bush and the American military continued to be criticized for the bullet holes nothing was said about the mosque being totally destroyed by other moslems. To this day that hasn’t changed and the minions of satan still decry American patriots for not bowing to satan while making excuses for those who do bow to satan and murder innocent civilians by the thousands. The day is coming when Jesus will return and these things will stop but those who wait will find out that the Sacrificial Lamb who was slain for the remission of sin will come back as the Lion of Judah to trample the forces of satan under His feet and cast them into the Lake of Fire. I have already made my decision to follow Jesus and accept His death on the cross to pay the price for my sins. Jesus will be my advocate at the Judgment seat of His Father and I will be held blameless on that day because He paid the price. Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, I owe a debt I can not pay. God the Father understands that when I sin now it is out of human failure rather than obstinate disobedience and when I repent and beg for forgiveness that His mercy is given to me because my repentance is real and His mercy is GREAT!!!!! I hope that anyone reading this and laughing or sneering at me will take a moment to reflect on your attitude. As a matter of fact, I beg you to reconsider, not for my sake but for your own sake. I can easily survive your insults and derision because the only opinion that matters in the end is the opinion of Jesus Christ and I know what His opinion of this article and my attitude is already. It is He who has inspired the writing of this piece.

Another question I want to ask you is; if Islam is so great why are millions of moslems scrambling to get out of islamic countries to come to a “Christian America”? And if islam is so bad they want to leave where they live now, why do they demand we change our ways to comply with what they are so intent on running from? Is it just so they can be the ones in charge of a brutal, sadistic, satanic nation? I will grant that we have our problems but I don’t recall any news reports of Americans of any faith, including islam, scrambling to escape this nation in favor of an islamic one, or even a single case of a moslem leaving America for an islamic “utopia”. It is sad, and disgusting to me, that hollywood puts out the pornographic trash they put out and spend their efforts criticizing those of us who refuse to spend our money buying, or our time viewing, their filth. I also hear them yapping about letting illegal aliens and moslems into the country but not offering their money or lavish estates for those people to live on. The elitist hollywood and political ultra rich demand that the money confiscated from me in taxes be used to support the people they want to come here while they are protected by walls and armed guards, and able to live a lavish lifestyle safely away from the violence those 3rd world scum bring with them. The hollywood and political elitists speak with forked tongues, demanding that us “unwashed masses” foot the bill and the suffering for the “ideals” they demand to be followed. There are many churches that fall into the class of hypocritical skunks also. The so-called “Christians” who put themselves on a pedestal aren’t so vocal when asked why we should import moslems yet reject Arabic Christians. Why is it that those people have no compassion for the real victims of islamic barbarity, the Christian populations of islamic countries? I don’t remember a single instance of any liberal speaking out for Christian victims of islamic persecution, why is that? Have I just not been paying attention or is it that no protest has been raised on behalf of Arabic Christians by the political and social elitists? I can assure you that I have indeed been paying attention and find the lack of concern for the true victims of islamic violence both disconcerting, and hypocritical. But then, one thing I have learned about liberals is that they are always hypocritical and quick to claim conservatives are the hypocrites because we don’t bow to their concept of Christianity. The problem is that the liberal definition of Christianity has nothing to do with Christ!

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

  1. Bringing God or Jesus into the mix is the most certain way to destroy this country. America is about freedom. That is what makes us strong. God and Jesus are about control and imposed limitations. God and Jesus would make things easier, but weaker. It’s hard to make the right decisions; but that doesn’t make them wrong.

    1. Linie, It is with respect that I comment on what you said. First, I would remind you that it was GOD that gave you the “freewill” ability and the RESPONSIBILITY to choose your own path in life…as well as the consequences that go with it. HE established the basics to follow if you ‘choose’. Any limitations or weakness are the results of “your” choice…HE didn’t give them to you.

Yes, America is about Freedom…it was the ‘Freedom of Religion” that forced our founders to leave their homes in England. It is our Constitution that makes us strong and a Land of Laws (when we enforce them) Not all that honor the Constitution are Christian but recognize that without laws there is chaos.

I’m a bit confused where you say first that God &Jesus are about control and imposed limitations, then in the next line, you say They would make easier ??That seems a shade contradictory to me. Still no where did anyone promise that life’s decisions would be easy or fair.

NO, God & Jesus will NOT destroy this country or any other…Man might. I’m old enough to remember when family units were primarily whole and there was also some denomination of religion as a part of it. When it was decided that it ‘wasn’t kool’ and the country started to focus on “if it feels good, do it” in the 70’s we became very self centered and strayed from our basic values. It was when we left our teachings we began to weaken.

It take FAITH to be strong…I hope that you will search out and find something that you can accept and belong to with your entire being….I’m sure that there are Christians around you that would be delighted to share “What” God really is and then you can make an informed decision. It’s your choice alone

Thank you for being so open and sharing
