Sarah Sanders Kicked Out Of Restaurant Because She Works For Trump!!! This Has Gone too far!!!
On Saturday morning, White House Press Secretary Sanders tweeted that she was kicked out of a Virginia restaurant on Friday night because she works for President Trump. An employee posted this on her facebook page saying : incident at The Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia. Sanders was served “for a total of two minutes before my owner kicked her out along with seven of her other family members.”
Sarah later tweeted
“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”
Leave it to liberals to be outraged when a Christian baker doesn’t make a cake for a gay couple, but be OVERJOYED when a member of the Trump administration gets kicked out of a restaurant.
Sarah offered to pay for what they had ordered but the owner said, “No it’s on the house.”
Sarah’s father Mike Huckabee came to his daughter’s defense saying: “Bigotry. On the menu at Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, VA. Or you can ask for the ‘Hate Plate’. And appetizers are “small plates for small minds”, Huckabee tweeted.
Stephanie Wilkinson, the owner of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia. , just one day after the White House press secretary got the boot, was already giving an interview to The Washington Post.
In her statement, Wilkinson said she found the Trump administration “inhumane and unethical,” which is why she gave Sanders the heave-ho.
“This feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals,” Wilkinson said.
Wilkinson said, “I was babbling a little, but I got my point across in a polite and direct fashion. I explained that the restaurant has certain standards that I feel it has to uphold, such as honesty, and compassion, and cooperation.
“I said, ‘I’d like to ask you to leave.’”
“I would have done the same thing again.” Wilkerson went on, “We just felt there are moments in time when people need to live their convictions. This appeared to be one,”
An employee called Ms. Wilkinson at home when she saw Sarah and her friends come into the restaurant. When she walked into the restaurant, Wilkinson saw that there had been no mistake. The Red Hen is no bigger than some apartments, and the group table was impossible to miss: Sanders in a black dress, her husband, three or four men and women of roughly similar ages, and an older couple,” The Post reported
“Several Red Hen employees are gay, she said. They knew Sanders had defended Trump’s desire to bar transgender people from the military. This month, they had all watched her evade questions and defend a Trump policy that caused migrant children to be separated from their parents.”
So, they asked her to leave. Keep in mind, part of the decision was over what could be construed as Sanders’ religious beliefs — namely, her thoughts on the transgender ban. However, their decision was their decision, and Sanders decided the best way to deal with it was via her tweet.
Can you imagine if Chelsea Clinton was asked to leave an establishment or one of Obama’s daughters was asked to leave because the owners didn’t believe in what they believed? There would be hell to pay and heads would roll. The double standard is unbelievable.
If this whole incident was just about who Sanders works for, it would be bad enough, but as The Washington Post article makes clear, however, this had a lot to do with her views on LGBT rights, something which is a function of her Christian beliefs also with Trump’s opposition to gays in the military.
When word got out about Sarah’s ouster, their YELP site was bombarded with sarcastic attacks on them saying how bad the food was there and how dirty the place was.. Hackers went into their online menu and changed things around.
It will be interesting to see if Ms. Wilkinson’s restaurant goes under now since it caters to the super rich and she has to suffer her losses to her and her staff because of her ungrateful move. She talks about upholding their morals? Sarah is one of the most moral people out there. This woman is bashing her as a reason against Trump from hearing the destroy Trump media which is a pack of lies against him. I wonder if she realizes that thanks to Trump she now only pays a 15% tax on her business instead of a 35% and has a $12,000 personal tax deduction next year if she is single. Hillary was going to raise the small business tax to 41% and she would have to lay off people. I wonder if she realizes that the idea of separating children goes back to Bill Clinton and continued thru Obama. I wonder if she realizes that Trump hires gays and has more women in his administration than any other administration in history. Probably not since she’s just reacting to what the destroy Trump media says.
Sarah showed more class than the owner did. I hope people see this for what it is, hate for the President. Sarah may have a lawsuit for discrimination against the protected class. This is another reason why the election this November is so important.
