A former FBI agent claimed during a Friday MSNBC appearance that criticism of the indictment of former President Donald Trump would incite people “to violence.”
“This is an important issue, in part from a security perspective, Ana, because everybody out there in Trump world is keying off of GOP high-profile people, Senators Hawley and Tuberville, Speaker McCarthy and all of the Fox News hosts saying this is nonsense, this is targeted, this is unfair,” Frank Figliuzzi told MSNBC host Ana Cabrera.
“All of this goes towards this risk-and-threat picture that the FBI, the Secret Service, the U.S. Marshals are going to be assessing, because if indeed GOP high-profile people keep claiming, Trump keeps claiming ‘Unfair, fight back, we’ve lost our democracy,’ all things being said, right, we’re going to see people incited to violence if this doesn’t change,” Figliuzzi said.
Trump announced Thursday on Truth Social that his attorneys had been told he was being indicted as the result of an investigation into classified documents that were the subject of an Aug. 8 raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate.
Most Republican presidential candidates condemned the indictment, while businessman Vivek Ramaswamy stated that he would pardon Trump. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy blasted the indictment on Twitter, as did Republican Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana.
Over two-thirds of Republicans polled by NBC News said the investigations into the former president are politically motivated.

Anyway who feels that this is all part of a political hit job will turn to violence as per Jan 6th. As far as the hit job, why isn’t Hillary Clinton in Jail for her classified docs on her computer? DOJ going to indict Biden for his classified documents which he took from the White House as the VP, much more egregious as a VP has no authority over classified documents. The Democrats continue their outrageous and illegal never ending persecution and prosecution of Trump because they WANT to incite violent demonstrations. They want violence so that they can finally ban guns in the name of public safety. Just like Pelosi denied the additional security that could have easily prevented the Capitol incursion on Jan 6., they wanted violence and (not getting as much as they wanted) they have continually lied for three years to say that four police officers were killed on that day, when we all know the only one killed was an unarmed protester named Ashely Babbitt. Then their hyperbolic rants and lies launched the biggest manhunt in history to hunt nationwide to arrest and prosecute 1000 mostly innocent Americans for trumped up trespassing charges; many even seen on video being let in by Capital Police. It’s no different from how the Stasi in East Germany operated or how the KGB silences any political opposition. They won’t stop until many more are killed and they can unleash a completely totalitarian surveillance and police state and they can and are doing it without ever declaring Martial Law. The coup is near complete and I don’t know if there is any way back from these levels of deceit, lies, corruption and subterfuge.
