Trump’s SOTU Speech: Promises Made, Promises kept

“The State Of Our Union Is Very Strong”—President Trump delivering his second state of the Union speech.

In what has to be his greatest speech to date, President Trump gave a very rousing, direct, sincere and succinct speech on the state of our country. Guests of the president included astronaut Buzz Aldrin, former inmate Alice Johnson, survivors of the Tree of Life synagogue mass shooting, and the family of a couple slain by an undocumented immigrant a young six year old girl who had brain cancer who has since raised $14,000 for St. Jude’s children’s hospital as well as WW11 soldiers who survived the Normandy attack and one of the survivors later freed a family on their way to from the Dachau German prison camp. Also in attendance, as a guest was a young boy who was bullied at school because he has the same last name as Trump.

“We must choose between greatness or gridlock, results or resistance, vision or vengeance, incredible progress or pointless destruction. Tonight I ask you to choose greatness.’” Trump said.

Minutes later the president blasted lawmakers, mostly those on the left, for opposing his top agenda item – hundreds of miles of steel walls on the southern border.

‘Wealthy politicians and donors,’ he complained, ‘push for open borders while living their lives behind walls and gates and guards.’

Democrats groaned when he referred to a ‘moral duty’ to protect Americans from an ‘onslaught’ of migrants forming a new caravan in Central America and heading north.

He demanded ‘a new physical barrier, or wall, to secure the vast areas between our ports of entry,’ while chastising lawmakers for their unwillingness to comply.

‘In the past, most of the people in this room voted for a wall. But the proper wall never got built,’ he said. ‘I’ll get it built.’

Trump stated that we have launched an unprecedented economic boom with 5.3 million new jobs and 600,000 new manufacturing jobs, five million Americans are lifted off food stamps, unemployment has sunk to its’ lowest rates in half a century, African American, Hispanic American, Asian Americans and women have reached their lowest unemployment levels in history, ”We are the largest exporter of oil and are sending education back to the states,” Trump stated.

The president made reference to the increasing interest in socialism in the country, “We will never become a socialist state,” trump emphatically stated.

Trump went on to explain that our military which had previously been decimated is now strong again and if he had not been elected we would now be in a war with North Korea. Since Trump met with Kim Jung Un missiles have stopped being fired and he intends to meet with Kim again at the end of this month in Vietnam.

As Trump cited his many accomplishments for the country, which number over 200, many in the capital hall stood and applauded over 100 times while many of the Democrats just sat on their hands with scowls on their faces. That’s because they are so filed and blinded by hate against Trump every second, of every minute of every hour of every day thanks mainly the hate Trump media who still haven’t gotten over their loss in the last election. Even the 90-year-old WW11 vet stood up and applauded more than they did.

Kirsten Gillibrand and Kamala Harris just sat there and shook their heads at everything Trump said with wise smirks on their faces. Even Nancy Pelosi sitting behind Trump could be seen reading his speech and glancing over it not listening to him which was very rude. Pelosi said it would take days to go over all the miscalculations trump made in his speech.

Dems want open borders, eliminate ICE and keep Obamacare. They are truly the party of hate. Hating Trump is more important to them than the American people and doing their job.

Democrat women were all dressed in white suffragette with as a show of solidarity opposing Trump as if women were oppressed under Trump, which I thought was totally ridiculous since Trump has done more for women than any other president, but they all changed their tune and stood up and cheered when he announced there were more women than ever in Congress and more women are in the workforce than ever before because of his policies. Trump also has more women working in his  administration  than any last president.

Stacey Abrams who lost In Georgia gave a very lackluster democrat rebottle to Trump’s speech. In a short speech that lasted ten minutes Abrams said virtually the same things Trump did only used them against him. She talked about how great the country is and how we can be the best we can be and greatest in the world etc., but then lashed out with a few untruths such as how factories are shutting their doors because of republican policies when actually companies are coming back here from overseas since trump lowered taxes and we added 600,000 new manufacturing jobs. Abrams also spoke about immigration and what a crime it was that the Trump administration had to put children in cages. Actually that policy was started under Obama and it is only temporary until the parents arriving here illegally can be fully vetted and then their kids are returned to them. Trump has reunited more families than Obama ever did.

Abrams went on to state that he shutdown was a stunt by the president and people suffered without being paid. Again the reason people suffered so long was because Pelosi and Schumer wouldn’t give into Trump with supplying the five billion for the border wall. Trump also wanted the workers to be paid during the shut- down, but Pelosi and Schumer voted against it to blame Trump.

Abrams also referred to voter suppression in an apparent reference to her own loss and seemed to blame it on the Trump administration when actually it was the democrats who brought in tons of fake votes known as “ballot harvesting.”

After Trump’s speech a CBS News poll had him at 72%.
