Claremore School Honors Veterans, Unlike Anti-American Liberals

On Monday, November 6, 2017, I attended an annual Veterans Day assembly at Stuart Roosa Elementary School in Claremore, Oklahoma. My granddaughter, Leyna, the 11th of 12 is in the 5th grade at the school.

I haven’t been able to attend the last 3 Veterans assemblies. due to the stroke I suffered in 2014. This year’s assembly was just as honoring and overwhelming as the last one I was able to attend.

The event started with the presentation of the colors and the Pledge of Allegiance. We were then honored by the students reciting several poems, including “In Flanders Field”. They then sang the Star Spangled Banner and Lee Greenwood’s “I’m Proud To Be An American”. Several students passed out paper poppies to all the veterans and active service members present. The school choir then sang a medley of the armed forces songs and asked that veterans and current serving military stand as their song was performed to the applause of the gathered family, students, and teachers. It was a very nice tribute, done with all the sincerity I have ever seen. It was very overwhelming and very honoring. There was a very nice reception in the library after the assembly with cinnamon rolls and muffins, with water and coffee to drink. I am very touched at the efforts of the teachers and students to honor those who have and are serving the nation in the armed forces. With all of the negative activities of the various radical anti-American groups, the lamestream media, hollywood elitists, and the nfl players it is very comforting to see the youth of today being taught to honor those who stand up and are willing to die to preserve the liberty that has been given to us by the sacrifice of so many.

Patriotism doesn’t seem to be a very popular trait these days, especially after the ineligible, America hating barak obama spent 8 years denigrating the greatest nation in the history of the world. Every time that scum opened his mouth it was to denigrate this great nation and the military and law enforcement people who preserve liberty and law and order. Every time a black thug was killed by police obama immediately jumped up and criticized the police for doing the job they were hired to do, enforce the law. I find it rather duplicitous that he never had any negative words about black gang members who killed innocent bystanders, like the 9 year old girl in Chicago killed in a gang related drive-by shooting while she was in her house doing her homework. None of the liberals yapping about black criminals being killed by police ever say one word about the black on black murders that have become even more rampant since 2008. The recent rash of professional football players showing the utmost disrespect for the national anthem, the flag, and the ideals both represent, applauded by the liberal media, hollywood elitists who have made millions for doing very little, and mainly democrat politicians with some republicans jumping on the bandwagon has made being patriotic and expressing that patriotism a cause for ridicule and criticism. The developments, especially over the last few months, have emboldened the anti-America liberals. They evidently see the renewed patriotism and optimism brought by the election of Donald Trump as President over the criminal hillary clinton as a real threat to their plans for the New World Order takeover under the umbrella of the un with liberals granted autonomy over a North American puppet dictatorship. When our children are taught to respect the ideals America represents it puts the dictatorial plans in jeopardy because the future generation is being taught to honor what America has always stood for, duty, honor, country and aren’t very likely to be the submissive drones the rulers will want and need. My thanks, respect, and admiration go out to the administration, teachers, students, and parents at Stuart Roosa Elementary School for carrying on a tradition started several years ago to honor our military people.

I have lived in Claremore for 27 years, 26 at my current address, and have lived in Rogers County continuously since 1976. The Claremore School system has always been supportive of patriotism and the expression of respect for what this nation stands for. While I would rather be living outside the city limits I am very happy and proud to be a part of this fine community. I prefer the quiet and serenity of country living but can’t afford to move at this time so will stay put until and if I ever have the financial means to purchase a tract of land and build in the outlying area. I have no desire to leave the community as it is a fine place to live with very fine rural Oklahoma people to associate with. The school system is excellent and today once again showed me I have much to be thankful for in living here.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.
