As the increased zealously for environmental advocacy rises, so does the staggering number of abortions. There is a solid correlation between those that advocate the strongest for climate action and those who most adamantly fight for abortion rights.
Many pro-life people, myself included, want to be good stewards of the environment and aim to better the earth. But to suggest that we have to choose between the mass murdering of millions of unborn babies or the extinction of the black rhino is outlandish.
Environmentalism has a substantial association to abortion activism and numerous top environmental organizations stunt for population control and abortion. Environmental groups are increasingly considering human life as the main enemy of an ideal world environment. A recent study claims a primary way to counteract climate change is by having fewer children, which will only likely increase environmentalists’ enthusiasm for abortion advocacy.
Life Issues Institute released an article that researched environmental groups that support abortion.
It described a letter dated March 22, 2017, that was sent to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer, Speaker Paul Ryan, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. It included an impassioned plea to protect federal tax funding for Planned Parenthood. The letter concluded with “…we strongly urge you to oppose any efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act and defund Planned Parenthood,” and was signed by the following environmental organizations:

It is quite interesting to see those, who claim the title of the party of science, to use science when it’s convenient for them but reject scientific fact when it does not fit their agenda.
Take the enormous amount of evolutionists who are concerned about the loss of species as an example. The basis of evolution concurs that millions of species have emerged from nothing. That by chance different species arise, evolve and ultimately only the strong survive. It is a logical inconsistency for someone to believe in evolution yet proclaim to be concerned about species extinction.
Or what about the slogan, “my body my choice” that is commonly used by abortion-choice advocates. Biologically, a pre-born baby is not the woman’s body or a part of her body. A pre-born human is a separate, living organism with their own unique DNA, making them distinct from their mother. That DNA indicates whether the child is a boy or girl, their eye and hair color, their height. A single-celled bacteria on Mars would have scientists claiming “life” on another planet, yet here on earth, unborn babies are not even considered worthy of the title of a living organism by many.
Our society has devolved to the point where the government has given unborn sea turtles more protection rights than unborn American babies. Sea turtles are protected under the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Turtle Protection Act. The act states that “no person may take, possess, disturb, mutilate, destroy, cause to be destroyed, sell, offer for sale, transfer, molest or harass any marine sea turtle or its nests or eggs at any times.” Penalties for disturbing nesting sea turtles include jail time and fines up to $15,000 for each offense.
Statistics compiled by Worldometers indicate that there were nearly 42 million abortions worldwide in 2018.
As of December 31, 2018, there have been some 41.9 million abortions performed in the course of the year, Worldometers revealed. To put this in perspective, by contrast, 8.2 million people died from cancer in 2018, 5 million from smoking, and 1.7 million died of HIV/AIDS.
An estimated 60 million unborn babies have been killed in abortions in the U.S. since Roe v. Wade in 1973.
Instead of being seen as an unfortunate undertaking or a tough decision a woman feels compelled to make, abortion is now being hailed as an American rite of passage. Science has now become hijacked by those who care more about feeling than facts. This is not science but sheer agenda.
I want to protect the environment to a respectable level, but not at the expense of innocent human life. I am among many other Americans who believe we should care for creation, but it must not come at the cost of human dignity.
