Last week Allen West delivered a rousing and passionate speech about the Republic legacy of standing up for Black Americans throughout the history of our great nation. Why did we have to wait for Allen West to come on the scene to take up the mantle of the legacy of freedom and civil rights that rightfully belongs to the Republican party? Somehow, the true history of the struggle of Black Americans in this country has been raided and twisted by the Democrat party – the party of slavery, Dixiecrats, Jim Crow and entitlement entrapments. Republicans have sat by like sulking toddlers while their political opponents have reshaped the narrative with lies and deceptions. Bravo, Congressman West! Thank you for taking the time to tell the truth, celebrate our people, and remind us all about the truth of history during this Black History Month.
