When Obama was president the media fawned over him like a love sick school girl’s crush on a football player. Chris Mathews said he had tingles up and down his leg at the mere thought of Obama. I noticed that what he said was different than what he did so every time Obama said something I thought the opposite and was right every time. Now the media is in anti-Trump mode pounding their feet like a two year old not getting their way so everything they say about Trump I think the opposite because what Trump says is the truth.
The same can be said about this so called Travel Ban on Muslims that they are all buzzing and complaining about. First of all it is not a travel ban and it is not anti-Muslim as there are 40 Muslim countries this is not affecting. Donald Trump recently signed into action an immigration ban into the United States for 90 days. Now, this is only three months of stoppage time. It is an effort to get everything under control and to properly put in place a plan that will keep Americans safe.
So, what did Trump do? Did he implement his promised Muslim ban? No, far from it. He signed an executive order dominated mainly by moderate refugee restrictions and temporary provisions aimed directly at limiting immigration from jihadist conflict zones. Let’s analyze the key provisions, separate the fact from the hysteria, and introduce just a bit of historical perspective. First, the order temporarily halts refugee admissions for 120 days to improve the vetting process, then caps refugee admissions at 50,000 per year. Outrageous, right? Not so fast. Before 2016, when Obama dramatically ramped up refugee admissions, Trump’s 50,000 stands roughly in between a typical year of refugee admissions in George W. It is only for three months so any Muslim from those six specific terror countries that want to come here can wait. Remember many of these Muslim terrorists want to kill and destroy anything western and that includes us. It only takes a few, even one or two to take out hundreds which has been proven in the past. Our FBI says that ISIS is now in all fifty states and there are currently 3000 investigations going on. I want to remind you Media folks that your guy Obama and your gal Hillary had the same ban in effect for six months with three countries then added three more and Obama gave that list to Trump. Jimmy Carter did it for four years with the Iranians and nobody complained. When Obama and Carter do it they are hailed as heroes for protecting us. When Trump does it they call him racist. The same goes for Bill Clinton’s speech in 1995 which you can see below.
So mainstream media continue what you are doing and let everybody in. Watch for more bombings of innocents in malls by these jihadists, more beheadings, more people blown up at marathons or people shot up and killed at office parties or people killed by a truck driven into a crowd like in France because you called Trump a racist or having a so called temporary ban.
