Is Joe Biden Losing It Mentally?

Bidenignorance

Joe Biden has been making more and more of his famous gaffes almost too frequently that people are wondering about his mental capacity. His aides want to prevent him from making too many appearances because of them.

Fox News’ Brit Hume is questioning Biden’s mental health and thinks he is showing signs of senility. Hume — who is no fan of Donald Trump, by the way — is reportedly suspicious that Biden’s gaffes are not just gaffes, but signs of a more serious health problem, The Washington Examiner reports.  “Biden has always made gaffes by the bushel, but some of his recent ones suggest the kind of memory loss associated with senility. E.G: This one, plus forgetting remembering he was not VP when meeting Parkland students, twice confusing Theresa May with Margaret Thatcher,” Hume recently tweeted’

Biden has also confused timelines. He recently discussed being in office during the shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida. The date of this shooting — Feb. 14, 2018 — was not even close to when Biden was vice president; it took place well after the Trump administration took over.

When Biden was speaking in Keene New Hampshire last week he thought he was in Vermont. “I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it? And what a neat town…everybody has been really friendly. I like Keene a lot.” He said to the press.

While candidates have a busy traveling schedule and it is easy to mistake a town you are in, but this is happening to Biden all too frequently on a daily basis.

It is not just states and timelines, either. Biden is regularly getting his facts mixed up. For instance, he recently stated the assassinations of JKF and MLK took place in the late 1970s when they occurred in 1968.

In addition, twice now, Biden has referred to Margaret Thatcher as the current Prime Minister of Britain — but she passed away in 2013 when Biden was VP.

Or how about when Biden recently stated that “poor kids have just as much chance of succeeding as white kids.”

Let’s not forget the famous gaffe when he said. “You can’t work in a 7-11 without having a slight Indian accent.”

When Biden’s wife, Jill, was asked about her husband’s gaffes she replied, “Voters should just hold their nose and swallow and vote for Joe.” That is not exactly a ringing endorsement coming from a presidential candidate’s spouse.

Joe Biden is sinking his campaign and has all but lost his huge advantage in the polls. Biden was once the only candidate of note on the Democrat side, but that is no longer the case.

Polls show that his gaffes are causing him to slip dramatically in voter support. The race between Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren is very close. Biden simply can’t afford the gaffes.

Biden offered a very unique explanation in response to his recent string of bewildering gaffes. He must have been clued in on the chatter that his mind may be slipping, deciding to tell voters in New Hampshire that he is “not going nuts.”

“Vote for Biden 2020, I’m not going nuts” is a strangely compelling slogan in light of the other Democrat candidates.

Now newt Gingrich has weighed in on Biden. Gingrich latched onto this when he said;  When Vice President Joe Biden said “”I want to be clear, I’m not going nuts,” it may have been strangest campaign slogan ever. It will be interesting to see how he recovers from planting the notion in voters mind. You could ask if he isn’t going nuts what is he doing?

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich also said 2020 presidential hopeful Joe Biden has stalled progress on race relations with his political talking points, during a Wednesday interview on “Fox & Friends.”

Biden met with a dozen black reporters from major media outlets on Tuesday and blamed white people for racism while classifying Caucasians into three specific categories. “White folks are the reason that we have institutional racism,” Biden said, according to Time Magazine.

Gingrich claimed Biden has contributed to racial tension and further criticized him for gaffes on the campaign trail. “We have been caught paralyzed for a half-century on some of this stuff and Joe Biden’s one of the people who contributed [to it],” Gingrich told Fox. “I have to say, his quote the other day quote, ‘I am not crazy,’ I thought was probably the most unusual quote by a presidential candidate.”

Gingrich also accused Biden of being hypocritical and claimed cities with the biggest racial divides are usually led by Democrats. “Biden in his early career… explained that segregated neighborhoods were probably good,” he said. “He sort of personifies what he’s talking about. I think that racism exists all over the world.  I think that it is a perineal challenge when you have people of different backgrounds.”

“Why is it that after all these years we’re not able to have schools that work, we’re not able to have neighborhoods that are safe and that is… to the disadvantage of poor African-Americans. And it is the leaders of the Democratic Party who run every single city in which this is true, Gingrich added.

Now neither the former President Obama nor his former campaign and White House staff, has rushed to support Biden.

In their interviews, the Washington  Post also found that some of Obama’s underlings had narrowed their choice of candidates down to a pool of five – and Biden was one of the finalists.

The Post also exclusively reports:

The former aides split broadly into three groups. Only eight had committed or were leaning toward Biden. A second group of 11 have committed to other candidates. A group of 34 say they are still waiting to decide.

Among those who had not yet picked a favorite, there was remarkable unanimity of preferences: Almost all said they had limited their consideration to five candidates now in the sprawling field: Biden, South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Kamala D. Harris (Calif.), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) and former congressman Beto O’Rourke of Texas.

There is no doubt that Obama could end all of this by endorsing Biden, but Obama pointedly did not do so. It was the one blemish on Biden’s campaign rollout and it led many pundits to wonder if Biden’s strong early poll numbers were a mirage.

In the 2008 election, Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton entered the race with massive poll leads, only to stumble once voters focused in on the other candidates and the race began. Rudy and Hillary had both of those factors seemingly in their favor in 2008 and they still crashed and burned.

Is Obama sending signals to his people that they should cool their jets on Biden because he sees the same happening to Biden? There are some who think Biden’s early strength is due to name recognition and voters buying into the media narrative that he is the “most electable.”

Joe Biden is the best chance the Democrats have to take the White House. Biden isn’t a radical socialist like Sanders or Warren, and his politics have a much better chance of drawing moderate voters. He also has the name recognition and experience voters will trust. Unfortunately for him, none of that will matter if he can’t stop putting his foot in his mouth.

Biden is a 76-year-old presidential candidate who would be 78 by the time he took office. He would be older than Reagan when Reagan left office. That may be too much for a person like Biden to be in the highest most pressurized position in the country.
