There’s a Growing ‘Berlin Wall’ in America

When I was growing up the Berlin Wall was a fact of life. I never thought our generation would see it come down.

Rather than keeping West Germans out, it stood from 1961 to 1989, to keep East Germans in. Few Americans could imagine living in a place where they weren’t allowed to move or speak freely. They can imagine that much easier today but sadly, too few still understand the significance of it.

The Berlin Wall has served as the best real-life contest between communism and capitalism in the modern era–until now.

By the time the wall came down in 1989, the differences were stark and undeniable. By every objective measure, individual Liberty, free markets and capitalism produced prosperity, innovation, happiness, and peace in the greatest of abundance. Communism produced misery, militarism, decay, destruction and poverty.

Today, we are watching a growing and strikingly similar real-life test In states, counties and municipalities across this country. Wherever Democrats are in control, there are lockdowns, mask mandates, vandalism, riots that go unpoliced, and law-abiding citizens who are under attack instead. There is an explosion of violent crimes, tent cities, welfare dependence, hopelessness, endless state control and chaos.

Americans are leaving Democrat-run states and flocking to Republican ones. Governors like Rick DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas have drawn the line on mask mandates and vaccine “passports.”  They have stood against lawlessness and protected the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.

Will Democrats soon build walls around New York and California to keep people in?

Today’s version of the Berlin Wall relies heavily on a psychological wall that socialist Democrats and their big-tech and media minions are trying to build around peoples’ minds. Their commitment to keep up the conditioning and the cancel culture is relentless.

When your friends and family start the same discussion about how you should get the vaccine or comply with mask mandates, ask them where they would rather live?  Seattle or Tucson?  Baltimore or Tampa? East Germany or West Germany?

Liberty is never so precious as when it has already been lost.  Let’s hope the rest of America will understand what is at risk right now, before it’s too late for us all.
