Democracy Hypocrisy in Madison

I encountered an article over at Townhall.com by Debra Saunders titled, “The CheeseHead Rubicon” that once again shows us just how hypocritical the Liberal Socialists of America ( that hide behind the Democratic in name only party of today) truly are.  In that article* we see another very interesting fact about the State of Wisconsin politics today:

“In 2008, 56 percent of Wisconsin voters supported Barack Obama for president. In 2009, Wisconsin’s Democratic governor and Democratic Legislature passed legislation that raised taxes and fees by about $1.2 billion over three years. State lawmakers approved the bill on the very day it was introduced, with no public hearingRemember that ? ” (emphasis mine)

Fast forward to this past week in the Wisconsin State Assembly, where we saw a totally disgusting display of rudeness by the minority Democrats after the budget bill was passed. The majority of the Democrats were all dressed in red as some kind of intimidation tactic to begin with. Then after the bill was passed, they all started screaming and pointing fingers at Republicans as they filed out of the room. It reminded me of a 3 year old who had been told he had been a  rotten kid all day long and therefore he would not get the ice cream he had asked for. I believe this is unethical conduct for State Legislators, and hope that the disrespectful offenders in this case will all be brought up on  ethics charges.  If that display doesn’t show a lack of proper ethics,I don’t know what does. Put these disrespectful clowns up on stage before the entire Assembly and  play the video for everyone to see. I am very disappointed in the entire State of Wisconsin and  their State Leaders  for allowing this political circus to reach new levels of  ridiculousness in recent days. This has got to be stopped. Make examples of these clowns. Let’s go ahead and put a link of the video of these people in here for all to see. Take a good look at the Wisconsin reps here:

What makes this situation even more disgusting and reprehensible, is the fact exposed in the above quote of how Democrats used their Majority power to pass a tax increase onto the people of Wisconsin of about  $1.2 billion over 3 years back in 2009 with no debate!   They introduced the bill and passed it one the very same day with zero public hearings. A tax increase over a billion dollars was done by the Governor and State Lawmakers with no input from the rest of the Legislators or the people of Wisconsin. The Governor and both houses were under the control of the Democrats at the time. That is hypocrisy to the tenth degree folks. What say the good   folks up there in Wisconsin about that?  Surely the whole state can not be so ignorant as to not call the Liberals on these truths here, can they?

Minority leader Peter Barca proves just how pathetically hypocritical these Democrats are when he stated: ” “The governor and Assembly Republicans are so out of touch that they are willing to resort to these extreme ends to achieve their legislative goals,” Minority Leader Peter Barca said at a news conference.”  Extreme ends Pete? What would you call the episode back in 2009 that we have documented for our readers here? FYI the vote this past week that passed the budget bill was passed at 1 a.m. after 60 hours of solid debate!  Your liberal Democrats and Governor rammed through a billion dollar tax increase after allowing  no debate!

So  here we see a group of extreme hypocrites from the Democratic Party blocking the State Legislature from functioning as the law dictates, while at the same time    rallying  a bunch of  Union cronies with cries of Democracy. Throw in the fact that the majority of the media misfits are strictly on the sides of the Unions here, and we have a hell of a nasty situation.  I  am willing to bet the Wisconsin farm here, that even with all the proof before them, the good people of Wisconsin will take no action against the Democrats, such as recall elections for the Senators illegally hiding to avoid doing their sworn duty. They refuse to open their eyes to the fact that Governor Walker is trying to balance the budget for the sake of all citizens in Wisconsin. We have proven the Democracy Hypocrisy of the Democrats up in Wisconsin right here for all of them to see.  Will they stand behind their duly elected Governor Walker in installing some fiscal sanity for the benefit of everyone, or will they become the next irresponsible State to have to resort to begging for Federal bailouts due to impending bankruptcy?

Wisconsin Protest: Jackass of the Week Award.

Wisconsin State Senator Jon Erpenbach (D- of course) has been all over the news this past week, as he is one of the Democrats in Wisconsin that ran out on their duly sworn oaths of office that mandates that they show up in the Wisconsin State Legislature and actually do the job they are being paid to do. For this type of action, plus his total denial of reality in his press statements, (provided below) I have bestowed upon him the dishonor of the Jackass of the Week Award!

There is your Jackass of the Week folks. Let me be clear on one point before I lay out the criteria as to why he gets this dishonor. I see other websites and online news groups being pressured and bullied when putting up public information on our elected representatives. This game of childish hide and seek from the people they serve has to stop. The people have the right to know who is doing what, and how to identify them so when they see them they can address the issues that concern them.

We have thousands of elected Tyrants across the land that refuse to answer their taxpayer funded telephones, refuse to answer emails and letters and think they can just hide from them. If you don’t want to talk and/or listen to the people you serve, then get the hell out of government, it is that simple. We will not tolerate this kind of oppression any longer. We will be heard and you will not stop us from sahring information that shows your true colors. Clear enough?  So there is the Jackasses picture for all to see, in case you run into him while he is hiding in some hotel, bar, restaurant, or wherever these sad examples of the Wisconsin Senate Democrats are hiding.  Tell him to get back to work, or recall him and the rest of these self-important obstructionists.

I found a very interesting article over at  FOX6NOW.com* that contained a quote from Mr. Erpenbach. In reading this quote, I discovered that this man is the same age as me, and I found myself wondering how he could make such misleading and false statements on national TV. Is he really this out of touch with reality, or just plain ignorant ?

“Democratic Sen. Jon Erpenbach said he and his colleagues wouldn’t return until Walker compromised.” and went even further into his complete denial of reality with the statement, “It’s not so much the Democrats holding things up,” Erpenbach said. “It’s really a matter of Gov. Walker holding things up.” (Emphasis mine)

How could  it be that Governor Walker is holding things up, when you are the ones acting childish and irresponsibly, in running and hiding out in another state?  Talk about twisting the facts around there. When we hear ridiculous statements like these, we must always consider the source. This man was born in 1961, grew up in Wisconsin, then did 2 years at a college in Oshkosh. ( no degree mentioned in his bio) After that, he worked for 3 Wisconsin radio stations, then went on to work in the State Assembly and Senate in media relations and as a communications director. Yes that is in bold type, because that is an amazing bit of information considering his recent statements that earned him the Jackass of the Week award here. Media relations and Communications Director? Can you say spin doctor? How about propagandist?  This guy must be a hell of a spin doctor to get elected to the Wisconsin senate with what I view as zero real world accomplishments or any proven skills in anything other than media propaganda artistry, which is also a nice word for being a skilled liar.

Now that we have taken a closer look at this man’s accomplishments in life,( or lack thereof) take another look at his face up there. Here we see nothing more than a petty propagandist who represents the Democratic Party of today, nothing more.  How in the hell he got elected to the Wisconsin Senate was truly a mystery to me at first glance. In seeing his background in media spin, and the Liberal  Democratic Party he represents today, it certainly doesn’t seem like such a mystery any more.

Congratulations Senator Erpenbach, on winnng the Jackass of the Week award. We will be watching for your future media spin interviews from wherever you are cowering down these days to hide from doing your sworn duties in the Wisconsin Senate. Who knows, maybe you will win the Jackass of the Year award before your irresponsible actions come  to a head up in Wisconsin. Now grow up, get back to your duly sworn duties in Wisconsin and stop acting like such a disgusting, pathetic, disingenuous two year old !  The people of Wisconsin deserve better than this. And one more thing,  your party LOST the elections. Elections have consequences, as we have all been told for the last four years of tyrannical Democratic rule in this country. Remember that?

Left Wingers to Finance Wisconsin 14 – CDN Fights Back

One of my readers forwarded an email to me asking if there was something Conservatives could do to counter a destructive move by the liberals.

Mr. Editor,

My Daughter is signed up on some left wing-extremist web site and sent this to me asking for money. She thinks that because I was in a union that I would support this mess. I was in a union because I had no choice. If I wanted that job, I had to pay union dues. Scott Walker is giving workers the individual right to elect to not have union dues come out of their paychecks and go to causes they don’t support. I wish there had been a Governor Walker in my working years.

Here’s the email, is there a way to counter this?

Over the weekend, I sent an email asking you to support the 14 Wisconsin Democratic Senators who left the state to prevent Republicans from passing a bill that strips workers of their collective bargaining rights. Now, I’m emailing to ask you again.

Please, donate $14 to the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee, $1 for each of the heroic Senators.

There are 19 Republicans in the state Senate, but 20 Senators are needed for a quorum to pass the bill. If even one Democratic Senator returns to Wisconsin, s/he will be rounded up by the state police, brought to the state Capitol, and the bill will pass. If that happens, tens of thousands of workers will lose their rights.

Senate Republicans are pressuring the 14 Democrats by passing bills that require the presence of only 17 Senators. Further, groups funded by Wall Street are running television ads attacking the Dems.

The strain on these Democrats is immense. We must serve as a counterweight by providing tangible support. That’s why at Daily Kos we’ve added the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee to the Orange to Blue 2012 page. The sole purpose of this committee is to support the Democratic nominee in each of Wisconsin’s 33 state Senate districts.

Please, donate $14 to the Wisconsin Senate Democrats, $1 for each of the heroic Democratic Senators. Your contribution will make an immediate, substantive impact on a huge political fight.

In solidarity,
Chris Bowers
Campaign Director, Daily Kos

YES! There is something we can do about it. It’s time to .. Give ’em Hell!! I haven’t received a response to phone calls and email to understand where exactly we should send the money, so I have included the emails and office addresses of every one of the grandest 19!

We can send $5 dollars to each of the Republican Senators. Spend $20 dollars of your own money and pick four Senators to send it to. Post a comment as to whom you supported so we support them all. As the founder and editor-in-chief of ConservativeDailyNews.com, I will personally contribute $40. First comment will show who I am sending money to. Will you join me?

The Wisconsin Union Battle – As Told in Videos

The battle has been intensifying. The Crisis in the mid-West is heating up over Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s budget repair bill. The article and pod cast certainly tell part of the story, but here are some videos that tell some of it that most have not heard.

I am a  firm believer in the saying that numbers do not lie, folks. We are in big trouble here and Obama’s recent fake budget proposal could very well finish off Americas economy. Thus the importance of supporting our representatives in Congress and our State Governors, in their quest to install some fiscal sanity into our country today.

Wisconsin on Fire: Budget Protest Updates

As most of us here in America know, the Wisconsin Unions are protesting Governor Scott Walker’s proposed State budget, in which he is asking for  Union members to contribute more to their own healthcare premiums and pensions. The Union thuggery in conjunction with certain Media members, has some real tall tales being told about the facts here. They are also adding fuel to the fire so to speak, as these false headlines are misinforming people and could end up complicit in causing rioting that could end in violence or even death. Wisconsin is burning right now, and some of these people seem hell bent of stoking the fire.

Lets examine some of the headlines and see just who is stoking this fire. Here is a lovely lie being shouted as a headline  over at The Nation* by one John Nichols, who deems himself  such an important fire stoker, that he even puts his picture above this headline: (link provided below)

Tens of Thousands Protest Move by Wisconsin’s Governor to Destroy Public Sector Unions*

Someone needs to ask this pot stirrer if he understands what may happen when uninformed people take this headline seriously. Destroy public Unions?  How is asking them to contribute 12.4% to their premium State Health Insurance destroying them? They now pay under 5%. The average private sector worker pays well over 20%, so why is this such an outrageous request here? Just because Union bullying, in conjunction with past Democratic cronyism for votes throughout Wisconsin’s history  has let this imbalance get out of control to the point of State insolvency , doesn’t make it right. Destroying Unions?  Governor Walker is also asking Union members to pay half of their pension contributions. This would bring them into the range of the private sector workers. Since when are State Union workers worth so much more than the very people who are paying their salaries? Newsflash: they aren’t as productive, therefore they should be making less in pay and benefits, not more, period. Back to Mr. Nichols here. Destroying Unions? Wisconsin has a 3.6 billion dollar hole in it’s budget, and if it isn’t fixed soon, the whole State will be bankrupt and then workers who have put in 30 years will be left with nothing in the way of pensions. Walker is trying to save the Unions jobs here. If the budget isn’t balanced soon, there will be layoffs. That is the simple reality here, which Mr. Nichols chooses to ignore. When seeing inflammatory headlines based on a flat out lie, we must always question with boldness and consider the source of any information.

Mr. Nichols is a highly paid operative for the Progressive Party and the DNC. Their agendas are as entwined as a rat snake wrapped around a rabbit.

Mr Nichols has also been involved with writing a few books. The titles alone are all-telling: The Genius of Impeachment and The Death and Life of Great American Journalism: The Media Revolution That Will Begin the World Again.  Lots of revolutionary death and anarchy in his headlines and titles there.  This man is some sort of Anarchist looking for the next riot-starter if you look at his prior writing. Here’s a few more facts about Mr. Nichols. He contributes to The Progressive and is a co-founder of the 100% Progressive Free Press.  Under the disguise of Democracy, Mr. Nichols is making a hell of a living pimping the Progressive agenda, while creating false headlines like the one above. The only problem with the title of his “Free Press” is that they sem to think that only people that should be allowed to speak their minds are progressive operatives such as himself. They allow practically zero  “Free Press” when it comes to any opposition speak. They call this type of  people hypocrites where I come from.

The false message and flat out lies about Governor Walker’s budget plan can be seen in many other leftist-Union supporting sites and supposed news articles. The Huffington Post, ( which lapped up  1 million dollars from the king of revolutionary progressivism one Geroge Soros recently)  has an inflammatory headline stating that the Wisconsin Protests are “intensifying.” As Glenn beck has told the world, this is called “nudging” the ignorants towards a quasi-revolt/riot.  The Huffington Post also provides a link to another fear-monger headline based on a lie: ” Rev. Al Sharpton: Labor Movements Under Attack in Madison, Wisconsin – Republican Governor Scott Walker is wasting time attacking working folks instead of seeking honest, sustainable solutions to his budget shortfalls. It is a con game, pure and simple.”     The worst race-baiting con artist to ever walk the earth, and who also has the nerve to call himself “The Great Reverend Al Sharpton”   is now calling Governor Walker a con man. My that’s rich! Notice the use of the word attackthere in his headline. Violence-promoting, irresponsible headlines across the spectrum of the left for all to see.

The picture on the left here shows Governor Walker appearing to ask just what do you people want me to do here?  The Wisconsin State Constitution contains a clause that requires a balanced budget, period. He is trying to obey the law in balancing said budget. In a totally Democratic State that has seen the past Governor and State legislature ignore the rule of law to the point of a 3.6 billion dollar budget shortfall, how is Walker to blame here?  Walker was elected to shore up Wisconsin’s budget shortfall and to  try to install some fiscal sanity into a situation that was  largely caused by            an insane bunch of  Democrats buying votes with taxpayer dollars through Union cronyism for decades. When these Union members say they have a right to these huge benefit packages, in a way they do. Why would i say that? Because these same Unions are political vote buying schemes today, largely for the Democratic Party. For decades, Unions bought elections for Democrats, and the those same Democrats handed Union members the payback of huge pension benefits with very little member contributions. Same thing  with how much they pay for their health insurance.  So for years Unions have been paying for their members bloated benefits through the Democratic Party. Now Union members think they are “owed” these fiscally impossible huge pay and benefit packages. Only one problem. The people paying for all of this insanity are the taxpayers and they spoke up in 2010 and said enough is enough!   In comes a fiscally conservative Republican Governor who actually takes a realistic look at the budget and sees that spending has to be brought under control. Wisconsin votes also had the smarts to elect Republican majorities in the Senate and House. Now, the people in charge don’t “owe” the Unions anything. This is how a true Democracy is supposed to operate. Walker is bound by law to balance the budget, and he is going to do it for all the people of Wisconsin, not just bow to Union thuggery while ignoring the majority of the people.

One last observation here. yesterday. Police were trying to locate the Democrats who by law are required to do their jobs and vote on this budget proposal. It will pass, make no questions about that. Here is what is really all-telling about why I think they ran and hid like children. If I was facing a mob, borderline riot, that was stirred up by Union operatives and paid media cronies to a fever pitch, I wouldn’t want to be one of the few remaining Democrats there, who these Union members feel “owe” them these bloated salaries and benefits plans, when this budget gets passed. Is it any wonder why Wisconsin Democrats cut and run like a bunch of cowards here? Sooner or later the people of  Wisconsin are going to want their voices heard here too. It is just that they have been out working to pay for this circus, aand can’t take days off of work to march on the Capitol. Kind of strange to see teachers who refuse to work, thus causing the schools to close, while at the same time calling themselves dedicated teachers. If you care about the education of the students, you would be in the classroom, not prohibiting your state capitol from functioning as per the rule of law. Do your job Governor Walker, and thank you for serving notice to the rest of the States facing this kind of problems while looking at their own budgets this year.  Someone had to have the courage to take the first step here, and you and the Wisconsin people are owed a debt of gratitude for facing down the harsh realities of the fiscal insanities brought to us by the leftist Unions and their pals, the Liberal Democrats.

CDN Sports: Super Sunday is Finally Here!

                    Superbowl XLV

The Green Bay Packers vs The Pittsburgh Steelers

The day all NFL fans have been waiting for has finally arrived.  Today Superbowl XLV will be played in Dallas, Texas’ newest billion-dollar attraction, Cowboys Stadium.  While getting to the stadium could get dicey with freezing rain predicted in the evening, once inside the fans and players will be comfortable in  the climate controlled environment of one of the most glamorous sports venues ever created  .

Pregame shows will start at the crack dawn and run right up to the big game for hardcore NFL fans eagerly awaiting the crowning of a new champion, while at the same time hating to see the season come to an end. This off-season has fans and players alike uneasy, as the NFL and the NFLPA ( National Football Players Association) are in tough negotiations, which, if not resolved could lead to a strike interrupting next season. Lets move forward towards today’s big game annalysis, and check out the festivities.

The halftime show will feature the multi-talented group, The Black-Eyed Peas, and it has been rumored to include a surprise appearance on stage with them by 2 Rock n Roll legends. Last years halftime show was watched by an incredible 153 million Americans, not to mention the worldwide attention it garners. This is the biggest day in sports, bar none. The glitz and glamour of the superbowl will be over the top as always, but this is the NFL Championship game, and history will be made today. Lets take a look at the teams, and then I will give you my “conservative” predicition.

Both the Packers and Steelers were picked by many to be in the Superbowl, yet both teams looked anything but super at times during the season. The Packers were ravaged with injuries that left them without their starting running back and tight end along with half their starting defense for pretty much the whole season. Aaron Rogers brilliant season, the emergence of a running game, and reserve players stepping up to rejuvenate their defense helped the Packers recover from a disasatrous stretch during mid-season and make the playoffs as a wildcard team. The Steelers started off without their starting QB for 4 games, ( which they won 3 of) and while their defense was pretty much stifling oppopnents all season long, their offense seemed to be no more than mediocre at times.  This game has all the makings for a historic clash of titans on the biggest stage ever. Both teams also match up very well, with both defenses ranked near the top, and both QB’s being young future hall of famers.

When the Steelers have the ball, they should have the advantage in the running game with Rashard Mendenhall a bruising runner with very deceptive speed. The Packers counter this with a stout run defense and rookie Clay Mathews constant backfield pressure and speed. Packers defensive coordinator Dom Caper’s blitz packages will be key to slowing down the Steelers passing game. Pittsburgh QB  Big Ben Roethlisberger has had a steady season where he has proven time and time again that he can find a way to win in big games.  The Packers were 2nd in the league with 47 sacks.

When the Packers have the ball, they will rely on QB Aaron Rogers laser arm and quick passing attack to thart the dangerous Steelers pass rush. The Steelers linebackers are among  the fastest in the league, led by James harrison and a league leading total of 48 sacks. The Packers will try to slow down the Steelers pass rush with a steady diet of emerging star rookie RB James Starks running the ball. The Packers have a slight advantage in the passing game, with Greg Jennings always a deep threat and complimented by 4 other young emerging recieving stars. Steelers superstar safety troy Polamalu always seems to be in the right place at the right time with 7 ints this season. If Rogers has the time he will pick the Steelers apart with the mid-passing attack. The Steelers need to keep someone  in place to spy on Rogers , as he is very capable of trucking the ball and running for huge chunks of yardage at critical times.

This game could very well come down to special teams match-ups with two evenly matched teams on offense and defense. The Packers Mason Crosby hit 2 field goals over 50 yards this season while the Steelers Shaun Suisham was 8 of 9 form 40-49 yeards with no field goals over 50 yards. In the punting game Pittsburgh’s Sepulveda had a slightly better average while the Packer’s Mashay had 25 kicks downs inside the 20 yard line. No clear advantage here, unless it comes down to a game winning field goal try from over 50 yards where Crosby has a slight advantage. In the punt return game, Pittsburgh should have a slight advantage with Sanders returning punts vs whoever the Packers send out there.

Enjoy your Superbowl Sunday and thanks for checking out the new CDN Sports page.     My prediction: Packers 34 –  Steelers 27.
