Electoral College Reform would have given America a Better Election Day Result For the Nation

Presidents’ Day is nearing and conservatives will have something to celebrate four years from now when the Electoral College is returned to the voters.

Currently, there is a movement in motion in several key presidential electoral battle ground states to return constitutional selection of the president to the voters by using congressional district selection of Electoral College electors. This move would even the playing field in presidential campaigns, to be more reflective of the true will of the people of a state, instead of voters being held hostage by the large urban population centers.

Large urban centers typically out vote the majority of congressional district by stealing votes in cities like Detroit, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Chicago. This results in state winner-take all electoral votes swinging unfairly and even illegally to a candidate like Barack Obama. In 2008 and 2012, Obama’s Chicago-style thuggish election machine worked to intimidate, manipulate and otherwise steal a presidential election in dozens of precincts in urban areas with impunity.

This process has created a false narrative that America has chosen a left-leaning socialist agenda that gives permission for citizens to be stripped of their Second Amendment gun rights, or states being forced to stand down against illegal aliens taking their health care, jobs and now their rights.

The solution has been clear for many years, and states like Nevada and Maine have already set the pathway toward a more balanced true representation of a state. They have initiated congressional district selection of presidential electors. In these states citizens can select their presidential candidate of choice, without being held hostage to the will of another congressional district or districts.

Currently, there are several states that have launched efforts to create a more fair and balanced Electoral College initiative. Michigan, Virginia, Ohio and Florida are some that are entertaining the idea. Yet their governors are showing timidity in fully embracing this patriotic concept.

Michigan’s governor, Rick Snyder who is up for re-election in 2014, had previously suggested his consideration for the move for voting fairness. Now, according to TPM, he is backing away.

If Snyder and a few other Republican governors are appearing weak in the knees about restoring electoral power to the state voters, this is probably the best time to know this. It gives the conservatives, the Tea Party and other like-minded voters the opportunity to put them on notice: No support for voter rights – No re-election!

Why is this crucial? Think about how the presidential election would have been turned on its head. Obama would have been shown the White House door, if the will of the people had been truly expressed by each congressional district!

In Virginia, Mitt Romney would have beaten Obama 2 to 1, with Romney picky up 9 electoral votes to Obama’s 4 electoral votes. A similar result would have occurred in Ohio, and other key battle ground states. Obama would have had his lease terminated by the true representative vote of America.

In a Romney administration, there would be discussion about creating jobs and improving the economy and cutting the massive 16 plus trillion national debt. Instead, America is subjected to Obama stripping gun rights, state’s rights and giving illegal aliens citizenship rights!

Conservatives have to stop playing defense against a president and a mainstream media that continues to stack the political deck against them. Stop playing by their rules and begin organizing around the strengths that are part and parcel to Americans.

Americans win every time when the issues which are local to them and important to their life and their family are dealt with and are advocated. First turn off the mainstream media news and turn onto your own social media networks and outlets. Identify those governors that are trying to walk the fence and who refuse to stand up to the reactionary liberals and mainstream media brainwashing.

Your congressional district is your turf. Your state house and senate seats and elected officials represent you, and not CBS, ABC, NBC or any other alphabet soup media outlet. Lastly, and most importantly, Obama has no say in your matters and his interest and his executive edicts have no legitimacy in your local lives.

Tea Party Patriots, can make a difference even larger and with far more impact in 2014 than 2010. This fight to reclaim America is more than just winning a majority in the House of Representatives in Congress! This electoral fight is to win back an election process that will strip the liberal elite and its mainstream media cohorts of the power to steal a presidential election.

For those in Florida, put pressure on the governor’s office and the Speaker of the House Will Weatherford, who is voicing opposition. In Wisconsin, give Governor Scott Walker (R) the support he needs as well as Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Corbett (R).

On President’s Day let this be a true celebration of the will of the American people. Let the voices of patriotism and be heard by voters who are no longer willing to witness or permit the undoing of the citizen’s constitutional rights.

Send direct messages to all the socialist-minded candidates like Obama who are oiling up their presidential election campaign machinery for 2016 – You’ve been served!

Republicans Push For Electoral College Reform

NYT: CNN on Thursday said it had hired Jake Tapper, the senior White House correspondent for ABC News, amid talk of new programming for the cable news channel.

Mr. Tapper, widely seen as one of the most aggressive reporters in the nation’s capital, will anchor an afternoon program for the channel and will be its chief Washington correspondent. The new program will start sometime next year.

Just this week Jake Tapper pressed both the president and the press secretary for clear answers to recent issues. One can only hope this style of hard hitting journalism is a signal of improvement for the flailing news channel.

December 19: Jake Tapper blasted Barack Obama today at his press conference announcing a new gun control committee. Tapper pointed out that this wasn’t the first mass slaughter under his watch, “Where’ve you been?” Watch a clearly irritated president respond.

——-On Tuesday afternoon, four of MSNBC’s primetime hosts were seen entering the West Wing for a meeting with President Obama.

Later in the day it was reported that writers for the Huffington Post, the Washington Post, and the Daily Kos were also included in the meeting.

Isn’t that so kind from President who hates holding press conferences; to just hold a private press conference instead? With influential members of the liberal media, at that? But don’t worry folks, MSNBC et al are totally objective news outlets. Completely.

A private press conference seems to negate the whole point of the “freedom of the press”, thus negating their reliability to be objective. It is official – our press is no longer free. They have willingly muzzled themselves at the expense of their duty to the American people.

In less than a week since this nation re-elected Barack Obama, there are calls from numerous States to secede from The United States of America. We are no longer a United Nation. We are very much a Divided Nation. Many are standing together, calling for a peaceful divide.

The famous declaration for unity that you are familiar with has been attributed to Aesop’s fables, as well as John Dickinson’s Revolutionary War song, “The Liberty Song”, which was was published first in the Boston Gazette in 1768.

However, it was Patrick Henry that made the historic exclamation in what was to be his last public speech:

“Let us trust God, and our better judgment to set us right hereafter. United we stand, divided we fall. Let us not split into factions which must destroy that union upon which our existence hangs.”

Patrick Henry’s declaration came at a very pivotal point in America’s history. It was March 1799, and Mr. Henry was “denouncing The Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions”, which argued that the two states “had the right and the duty to declare unconstitutional any acts of Congress not authorized by The Constitution”.

This speech took such a toll on Patrick Henry that after the speech his “near lifeless body” was carried offstage and into the nearest tavern. He died just two months later.

We have now reached another pivotal point in this nation’s history.

In the November 6 election, the divide between the candidates was a little more than 3 million votes. Barack Obama received 61,910,594 votes, and Mitt Romney received 58,654,765 votes. When you look at the total number of votes cast, it is almost a clear cut down the middle. We are most definitely a divided nation. We can no longer stand together, when we are so obviously divided over so many issues. We have reached a breaking point that threatens to be anything but peaceful if things are not handled in a way in which every voice is heard and considered.

Citizens in Louisiana are now petitioning the White House to “Peacefully grant the State of Louisiana to withdraw from the United States of America”. The petition was created the day after the election, and has nearly 8,000 signatures in just 5 days.

It appears that this petition from Louisiana was the first of many to have been submitted to the “We The People” site on the official White House website. The site claims to be “Your Voice In OUR Government”. The question remains whether or not the Government will hear the many voices being raised. It is highly doubtful, as they have turned their noses up in arrogance towards We The People numerous times before.

It’s not just the state of Louisiana, the list of State Petitions calling to peacefully “withdraw from the United States of America” is growing by the day.

Country singer Charlie Daniel’s is suggesting that “the South” secede from The Union; however, there are Northern States that are not so happy with the government, and are also calling to leave the Union. At the time of this article’s posting, the states with open petitions are the following:

The winds of change are coming. The echoing calls to seperate are growing louder and stronger.

Barack Obama claimed in both victory speeches that we are not “a collection of Red States and Blue States, but we are The United States”. These words are empty and mean nothing coming from a man who has done so much to divide this nation. The people are not happy. We are no longer united. We The People are standing, asking to peacefully divide from the albatross that is Barack Obama. If the request is not considered, it very well may come as a demand, which will not be so peaceful.

While there is more work that remains to be done, today’s employment report provides further evidence that the U.S. economy is continuing to recover from the worst downturn since the Great Depression. It is critical that we continue the policies that are building an economy that works for the middle class as we dig our way out of the deep hole that was caused by the severe recession that began in December 2007. To create more jobs in particularly hard-hit sectors, President Obama continues to support the elements of the American Jobs Act that have not yet passed, including further investment in infrastructure to rebuild our Nation’s ports, roads and highways, and assistance to State and local governments to prevent layoffs and to enable them to rehire hundreds of thousands of teachers and first responders. To build on the progress of the last few years, President Obama has also proposed an extension of middle class tax cuts that would prevent the typical middle class family from facing a $2,200 tax increase next year.

Today’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) shows that private sector establishments added 103,000 jobs last month, and overall non-farm payroll employment rose by 96,000. The economy has now added private sector jobs for 30 straight months, for a total of 4.6 million jobs during that period.

The household survey showed that the unemployment rate declined from 8.3% to 8.1% in August.

Employment rose notably in leisure and hospitality (+34,000), professional and business services (+28,000), health care and social assistance (+21,700), and wholesale trade (+7,900). Manufacturing lost 15,000 jobs, including a 7,500 drop in motor vehicles and parts, which is partly payback for there having been relatively few seasonal auto plant shutdowns in July. Over the past 30 months, manufacturers have added more than 500,000 jobs. Government lost 7,000 jobs, as state government payrolls fell by 6,000 and local governments shed 4,000 jobs. Since February 2010, State and local governments have lost 504,000 jobs.

As the Administration stresses every month, the monthly employment and unemployment figures can be volatile, and employment estimates can be subject to substantial revision. Therefore, it is important not to read too much into any one monthly report and it is informative to consider each report in the context of other data that are becoming available.

Many things about this administration really gripe me. But this news story takes the cake.

In the midst of the worst economic crisis in this country since the Great Depression, or perhaps even ever, this administration has added a micro-brewery to the White House.

Yes, it’s true. The White House admitted it today.

From USA Today: “There is a home brew, if you will, at the White House,” said White House spokesman Jay Carney.

Apparently word got out after President Obama mentioned that he had stocked his campaign bus with their private brew.

Officials admitted to the brewery after President Obama told some Iowa residents that he had some of its product stocked aboard his campaign bus.

Per the Des Moines Register: “Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters that Obama gave the man a full bottle of said beer, retrieved from the bus.”

We now know the beer is called White House Honey Ale, and is made in both light and dark varieties.

Making home brew or establishing a micro-brewery is done every day by many individuals.  It is legal in most states. Personally, I find the idea of making one’s own beer interesting. It’s probably a very fun hobby and the micro-breweries often successful businesses.

But is this the best use of taxpayer money? It seems awfully elitist to me. Maybe it’s time for a new president who will actually focus on problems at hand rather than starting a new hobby.

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing: Richard M. obama

As was the case with disgraced President Richard M. Nixon, who resigned over participation in the infamous Watergate cover up, the current White House occupant has determined there is enough to hide from the public that it’s time to play the executive privilege card.

What a refreshing switch from playing either the race card or the class warfare card. However, under these newly created circumstances and given the track record of the current administration and its political allies, do not believe for a second that playing one of those cards might inevitably become necessary.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has been stonewalling for the past year, refusing to disclose what he and the Department of Justice know about the failed Fast and Furious gun running scandal. Holder has ignored subpoenas while obstructing repeated attempts to obtain important information. It has gotten so bad that Holder is seen as being in contempt of Congress.

What is Holder hiding that is so important that his boss and friend in the White House would risk his entire reputation, as did Nixon, by invoking executive privilege?

As is the case of obama’s personal records (his birth certificate being the most famous), all of which were sealed from public view via executive order on his first day in office, there is definitely information the Chief Executive of the United States needs kept hidden from the general public. This conclusion is not a surprising one. In fact, that is his track record.

If there was never any White House involvement in the failed Fast and Furious gun running operation, which led to the death of hundreds of Mexican civilians and the death of Federal Agent Brian Terry, how is executive privilege justified?

Did the White House know that hundreds of sophisticated automatic weapons were being allowed, with the blessings of the DOJ, to walk across the American/Mexican border in the hands of ruthless, mass murdering criminals? Was this part of a master plan to intentionally inflate the number of American made weapons being found in the hands of drug cartel members at crime scenes, thereby justifying the imposition of gun control in America? Not so coincidently, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had been making statements insinuating such an objective just prior to news about Fast and Furious coming to light.

The imposition of gun control so strict as to violate the Second Amendment has long been sought by card carrying members of the big government, central planning, control the people leftist fringe, including the fringe leftist currently sitting in the Oval Office.

Holder has a track record of supporting south and central American drug criminals. He has a track record of selective prosecution of American laws based on race, personal and political bias. Holder should be in prison for violating his oath of office. So should his co-conspirators, no matter how far up the food chain they go.

Many of the links made between Obama and previous presidents are inane and meaningless where real policy is concerned. For instance, under Herbert Hoover’s biography, the addendum mentions that Hoover signed the bill that created the Department of Veteran Affairs, and that Obama is ‘committed to serving the needs of veterans’ by modernizing health care benefits.

The Did You Know? under Calvin Coolidge’s biography notes that Coolidge was the first to make a public radio address, and somewhat lamely points out that Obama is the first president to hold virtual meetings online.

Many of the links to Democratic figureheads are the most obscure. For instance, the Did You Know? section under FDR’s biography notes that FDR signed the Social Security Act, noting that Obama is working to ensure Social Security will be there to protect future generations.

Obama’s link to JFK is his celebration of the 50^th anniversary of the Peace Corps, which JFK helped create.

LBJ is noted for having signed Medicare into law, which the White House claims Obama strengthened by signing Obamacare into law.

Gerald Ford’s biography has not been altered so far.

But perhaps the most outrageous claim, is Obama’s supposed link to Ronald Reagan. The Did You Know? under Reagan’s biography reads:

In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.

In Reagan’s speech, no mention of secretaries is mentioned. Reagan mentioned that a bus driver shouldn’t pay more in taxes than a millionaire. Of course, he was strictly talking about income tax, not comparing capitol gains rates to income tax rates. In fact in the same speech, Reagan advocated against raising taxes and instead closing loopholes and cutting taxes across the board.

Also noted- Reagan declared Martin Luther King Day a national holiday, which the first and second families celebrate by participating in service projects.

Michelle Obama is also mentioned for her Let’s Move initiative to ‘promote healthier lifestyles’. This is mentioned in conjunction with President Eisenhower’s Council on Youth Fitness.

The Obama adminstration’s attempt to insert itself into every moment of American history has spawned a Twitter hashtag, #ObamaInHistory, which is being used to mock the biographical alterations.

A few examples:

@JohnSantorelli: Christopher Columbus discovered the New World in 1492 and Obama was there to apologize and bow to the natives. #ObamaInHistory

@EthanMyers007: 30,000 Americans died on the Oregon Trail due to lack of health insurance. #ObamaInHistory

 The widest criticism of the biographical alteration is drawn from a speech Michelle Obama gave during the 2008 campaign. She mentioned that Barack knew they were going to have to rewrite history- and to many, it appears that this is exactly what Obama is doing. For more, go to whitehouse.gov/presidents.

Brock’s bitter legal battle with Grey, who is  described in a Sept. 14, 2010, police report obtained by FoxNews.com as his  domestic partner of more than 10 years, began after Brock began dating  Washington, D.C., restaurant impresario James Alefantis about five years ago.  For the next three years, Brock and Grey traded angry accusations, which were  documented in the police report and were the foundation of a pitched legal  battle replete with charges of blackmail, theft and financial malfeasance.

The fairy tale like relationship fell apart over $170,000 worth of “community property” that consisted mainly of furniture that was in their Washington townhouse, where the gay couple entertained big time Liberal “movers and shakers.”   What is astounding, is the fact that the acrimonious shattering of this love affair between two men, one of which makes his living hurling political ball-busting boulders at anything conservative, has been kept relatively quiet for over two years, at least up until now.

The Daily Caller  has been at the forefront of exposing Media Matters malfeasance from the very beginning, unlike ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, etc. who continue to choose to turn a blind eye towards this completely discredited organization simply because they are bought and paid for by today’s  Liberal Democratic party and Barack Obama. (paid for with your tax dollars to a great extent) The Caller’s most recent expose’ into just who has been funding Media Matters leads right up to Bernie Madoff and company, which you may read here. There is also a complete page dedicated to real journalistic reporting and truth-telling about Mr. Brock’s enterprise, Media Matters. It takes courage to stand up to these very well-funded Liberal propagandists, and all of these brave folks deserve a hearty round of applause for their dedicated reporting on topics which the irresponsible mainstream media continue to hide from the public.

How does that saying go again? “Hell hath no fury, like a woman ( or gay lover) scorned.” Anyone concerned over whether Mr. Brock could end up unemployed over all of the Media Matters malfeasance that has come to light recently, should not really fret too much. There’s plenty of these Liberal propaganda outfits operating today with the help of  Liberal political operatives who chose to call themselves “news reporters.” Think Progress, which is just another arm of the Center for American Progress comes to mind here, considering that it is now being run by former Obama kingmaker John Podesta, he of Clinton media management and manipulation fame. They are all just covert forms of the national network of the Democratic Attack Machine.

Note: Tucker Carlson, the founder and editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller has even drawn counter-attacks from another media arm of D.A.M.  Politico in attempts to discredit the Media Matters expose’.  Truth-telling is making a comeback… and ruffling a lot of Liberal feathers along the way.
