Mayor Bloomberg's Latest Bombshells Land on Obama and Buffet Bedpals

The mayor of NYC, Michael Bloomberg who can not seem to stay out of the media circus for even one short weekend lately, as was witnessed by his latest episode of  TV stardom-fueled narcissism on NBC’s  Meet The Press this past weekend. Bloomberg, who himself is listed to as one of the evil rich people Barack Obama and Warren Buffett are saying need to be taxed more with an estimated worth of some $19 billion dollars, pulled no punches in an interview with DavidGregory on Sunday. While Bloomberg is considered by most people to be a leftward leaning Liberal Independent nowadays, he came out swinging at the Obama-Buffett tax the rich more scheme, that is deeply rooted  in Obama’s fake American Jobs Act.

First, Bloomberg jumped right on the neck of fellow billionaire Warren Buffet, for whom Obama recently named The Buffett Rule  after.  “The Buffett thing is just theatrics. If Warren Buffett made his money from ordinary income rather than capital gains, his tax rate would be a lot higher than his secretary’s. And, in fact, a very small percentage of people in this country pay a big chunk on their taxes.”

Translation of the above statement: ” Keep your hands off of my billions, Buffet and get an honest job to make your own money for once,  instead of dodging paying your own fair share by claiming it all under the lower-taxed capital gains loophole rates, if you really want to pay your fair share.”

Mayor Bloomberg also backhands President Obama with his view of just what he thinks of  the Obama-Buffett tax the rich scheme, when he stated that he wasn’t impressed with Obama’s class warfare tactics, including Buffett’s supposedly begging to be taxed more rhetoric.  We have to wonder if the mayor will be getting a call from the Chicago-Bully-Pulpit posing as the White House administration today about that statement.

Mayor Bloomberg even took it a step further in this interview on Meet The Press,  when he mentioned his support for a supposed third party candidate in 2012, and tossed out the name Americans Elect 2012.  The goal of Americans Elect is to “nominate a presidential ticket that answers directly to voters, not the political system.” “But if somebody wants to run, you know, there’s this organization that’s going to be able to get you on the ballot in all 50 states,” Bloomberg said, adding “That’s good for democracy.”

Mayor Bloomberg also made an attempt to explain Barack Obama’s class warfare in the interview when he said, “You can’t define what’s middle class, what is wealthy, what is poor,” Bloomberg said. “Every time you have a jump, people play games to get on one side or another. And I think it’s not fair to say that wealthy people don’t pay their fair share. They pay a much higher percentage of their income. They have a higher rate than people who make less.”

While it is very refreshing to see Mayor Bloomberg taking on the Liberal Establishment’s blatant class warfare that is critical to Obama’s reelection campaign, we also have to wonder just what Obama and company will counter-attack with in the coming days, and whether or not we will see a quieter, less vocal Mayor Bloomberg after the Chicago political machine gets winds of this interview and expresses their displeasure with the Mayor’s exposing Obama’s class warfare rhetoric that they deny even exists.   Mayor Bloomberg is also a media-mogul who  would be a dangerous person to try to silence with Chicago-style thuggery, and also just happens to represent the massive voting block known as New York City.  This could certainly get very interesting in the very near future.

Just What, Exactly, Is The Buffett Plan?

Warren Buffett stepped into the spotlight recently to say that he does not pay enough taxes. He states that he is wealthy enough that he can afford to pay more taxes than he does now. There is no doubt that he can afford a higher tax bill, but why is Buffett calling for higher taxes on the “rich” when he employees an army of Tax Attorneys to keep him from paying as much in taxes?

“Far more often, we see leaders in this country doing the opposite: protecting their own interests, their own careers or their own fortunes, with little worry about what it will mean to others,” wrote Post blogger, Jena McGregor.

Could Buffett be up to no good? Could Buffett benefit from such legislation being passed? Could this be Buffet’s way of paying Obama for his Medal of Freedom?

We all know that when it comes to tax laws, there are always loop holes written in to “protect” those of certain groups or interests. If such a bill were to pass, you can rest assured that other new taxes would soon follow on all levels.

New taxes would only hinder job growth and further drive our economy deeper into the recession, or worse yet, send us into another depression. How many companies will fold due to new taxes? Could this be where Buffett’s windfall is?

It is common knowledge that Buffett regularly buys companies and dismantles them or sells them later. Could this, in fact, but the real Buffett plan- to just sit back and wait for the effects of the proposed bill shackled on the American people to take place ?  In a very short time, companies will begin to break under the new tax burdens the proposed bill puts into place; then,  Buffet can just swoop in and buy out selected companies for next to nothing.

Would Obama get a commission on each company? (A curious thought to ponder.) If such a plan lies behind all of the posturing, it will, without a doubt, take greed to a whole new level. Maybe the real goal behind the plan is that Buffett is gunning for the #1 position on the world’s wealthiest list.

Who Pays What in Taxes: The Truth Comes Out at CDN

The President wants to raise taxes in America through his phony American Jobs Act and the unconstitutional super debt committee fallacy. Is President Obama trying to slam us into a double-dip recession? Now he wants to impose what he cutely calls The Buffet Rule  to tax Americans even further, because as Warren Buffet says, the rich pay less than in taxes than the poor middle class. Is that statement true?  Apparently it is a complete fabrication/fallacy as a recent AP fact Check article shows us:

AP Fact Checks Obama: Are the Rich Really Taxed Less Than Secretaries?

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says he wants to make sure millionaires are taxed at higher rates than their secretaries. The data say they already are….

This year, households making more than $1 million will pay an average of 29.1 percent of their income in federal taxes, including income taxes, payroll taxes and other taxes, according to the Tax Policy Center, a Washington think tank.

Households making between $50,000 and $75,000 will pay an average of 15 percent  of their income in federal taxes.Lower-income households will pay less. For example, households making between $40,000 and $50,000 will pay an average of 12.5 percent of their income in federal taxes. Households making between $20,000 and $30,000 will pay 5.7 percent.

The latest IRS figures are a few years older — and limited to federal income taxes — but show much the same thing. In 2009, taxpayers who made $1 million or more paid on average 24.4 percent of their income in federal income taxes, according to the IRS.

Those making $100,000 to $125,000 paid on average 9.9 percent in federal income taxes. Those making $50,000 to $60,000 paid an average of 6.3 percent. (emphasis mine)

As we see here President Obama is dead wrong when he quotes the outright lie being told by Warren Buffet about who pays what in taxes in America today. NOTE:  Buffet claims his income as capital gains and therefore skirts the issue of paying his fair share also. (That is a great example of the word trickery used in mind manipulation to skew the facts in this situation.)  But in looking at the AP fact Check numbers above, we see an even bigger injustice exposed in this propaganda here:  Taxes on the rich have already increased since 2009 when Barack Hussein Obama took office. while taxes on the lowest earners have decreased:

2011- If you make more than 1 million  your tax rate is now an effective 29.1%,  [ UP 4.7% ]   from 24.4% in 2009, Obama’s first year in office.

2011- Make 50 – 75k and your effective tax rate is now 15%,  [ UP a whopping 8.7% ] from the 2009 tax rate of  50 – 60k at 6.3% .

2011- Those making between 20 – 30 k will pay 5.7%,  or [23.4% less than the million-dollar earners.]

Shame on you President Obama and Mr. Buffet. Barack Obama has already raised taxes across the board for the rich, and also raised them on the middle class folks by a whopping 8.7%  in your short time in office. Now you want more tax increases?  When will it stop?

In 2012, when we vote for common sense conservative principles to stop this economy-crushing Liberal nonsense !

Obama's Latest Plan: Rescuing America From Rich People and Success

Obama in WH Rose Garden announcing plans to save America from money

The President gave another campaign speech disguised as a “deficit reduction plan” Monday morning, this time in the White House Rose Garden.  Perhaps he hoped the the backdrop of thriving foliage would add to the illusion that his “plan” would help the economy thrive and flourish.  Here are some highlights from the campaign speech:

Obama wants $248 Billion to come out of Medicare, 90% of which will come in the form of reducing over-payments to providers.  Did you hear that, America? The administration that  has presided over recent scandals such as Fast & Furious and Solyndra, the administration that spends $3.93 billion a day (consider that a billion seconds=31 years and let that blow your mind) wants to reduce waste and fraud in Medicare? Don’t you feel safer already? I know I do.

Obama wants to increase taxes on the wealthy. The wealthy don’t pay enough in taxes, you know.  Wealthy people are selfish and evil and ugly.  They steal money from the poor and keep it all in giant vaults that can only be opened with giant keys.  Then they drink expensive champagne made from the tears of women, children and minorities.  It doesn’t matter that according to the IRS‘ own, easily located statistics, the top 50% of earners pay 97% of all income taxes, and the top 1% pay 39%.  Rich people are bad.  Unless their names are Pelosi, Obama, Clinton, Kennedy, Buffet, Jobs, Gates, Frank, Rockefeller, Feinstein, Kerry, Heinz-Kerry, Gore, Edwards…..oh, you get the point.

Obama wants to put caps on itemized deductions, close tax “loopholes”, and let the Bush era tax cuts expire on individuals earning $200,000/year and couples earning $250,000/year.  Thank God.  Since most small business owners file as individuals and depend heavily on itemized deductions to stay afloat, this new and fresh idea should effectively kill small business growth; and if there’s anything America needs less of its small business and the jobs they create.  If those businesses are allowed to thrive, they might become big businesses that earn a lot of money.  Then they’ll be rich.  To reiterate, rich people are bad. Its a good thing Obama is here to rescue the average American from…jobs.

Obama wants a “Buffet” tax, named for his favorite rich person, Warren Buffet.  This tax would raise the tax rate on individuals earning over $1 million per year.   Hey, small business owners and folks who have worked very hard to earn a nice salary -Warren Buffet wants to pay more taxes!  You should want that too.  But just in case you don’t, here is a plan to force you to pay more taxes.  You’re welcome.

Oh, did you know Warren Buffet has a secretary?  Its true.  Supposedly she pays a higher tax rate than he does.  Unacceptable!  Also unacceptable – giving the secretary a raise so she can move into a different tax bracket.  Let’s not get carried away here, folks!

Obama wants to reform the corporate tax rate while closing more of the dreaded “loopholes” (when is Hollywood going to make a horror movie about loopholes? They sound absolutely terrifying).  In case you were wondering, giving hundreds of millions in stimulus money to bankrupt solar energy companies and other energy providers to help “weatherize” homes, that’s not a loophole.  Its just being neighborly.

If you are feeling concerned that these “proposals” may seem a bit…one-dimensional, have no fear.  President Obama went on to assure Americans that “This is not class warfare, it’s math.”  Phew!  No worries, everyone.  Its all under control.  The same White House that saved and/or created 100 bazillion jobs has done all the math for you: $14,711,883,847,986 in national debt minus stimulus money payouts to cronies and unions= YOU NEED TO GIVE GOVERNMENT MORE OF YOUR MONEY…NOW!  Its a simple formula, really.  Now it is all up the the Republicans in the House to pass this campaign speech right away.
