ACORN, SEIU and Now Obama For America

James O’Keefe, who made headlines for his undercover investigations of ACORN and SEIU, has released the first video in a reportedly bombshell series of investigations into voter registration fraud and unlawful election practices by the president’s reelection campaign, Organizing for America.

The video clearly exposes a paid employee of OFA in Texas helping an undercover journalist to vote twice.

In an email sent to supporters, O’Keefe asks for donations so his organization, The Project Veritas, is able to release the rest of the reports. O’Keefe claims to have evidence of election rules violations in five different states.

Democrats: Using The Same Tactic For 200 Years

We all know the Democratic Party is the tax and spend party, they love taxing everything that they can think of, just so they can spend it on entitlement programs. On the surface, it seems like the Democrats are the party of compassion, but in reality, they are doing what they do, just to ensure themselves votes. Buying votes or soliciting favors for votes is against the law, but the Democrats have found a way around that law, by taxing and pouring the money into give away programs. It is the same as buying votes, but doing it legally.

This strategy is nothing new for the Democrats; they are masters at it, because they have been perfecting it for a period of over 200 years. I don’t know if any of you are familiar with Tammany Hall? Tammany Hall was a Democratic machine founded in 1786 in New York City. In the mid 1800’s a man by the name of William Tweed came to power, he was better known as Boss Tweed. This was a time before Ellis Island, as the ships full of immigrants pulled into New York harbor (mainly Irish at the time) guess who was there to meet them? That’s right, the leaders of the Democratic Party. As the immigrants piled on to the docks, they were handed a little money and told to sign a piece of paper, which would make them automatic citizens, as long as they voted Democrat. Since Boss Tweed appointed everyone in the city, he had the papers forged and stamped so that they would be pushed through. (Gee, it kind of makes me wonder why the Democrats are against I.D.’s for voting.)

When it came time to vote, the Democrats would open all the saloons with a free bar for the day, when everyone was well oiled, they were taken to polling places around the city so that they could vote numerous times for the same candidate, who just happened to be a Democrat. There was one story that an Irishman refused to vote for the candidate he was told to, he was then shot, stabbed and thrown in the river, very compassionate people those Democrats. Look at the Democratic Party today, has anything changed? Although their tactics have changed, their intent remains the same, which is giving everything away just to secure votes. As I said before, it is just a legal way of buying votes. Why do you think illegal immigration is such a hot topic? One word, VOTES. Democrats want amnesty for all illegal immigrants for one reason and one reason only, VOTES and with those votes, they will have supreme power.

Tammany Hall collapsed under its own weight of corruption and greed, just as the Democrats made Tammany Hall collapse; the Democrats are now making the U.S.A. collapse. Over sixteen trillion in debt, the Democrats want to keep borrowing more and more money and spending it on giveaway programs we cannot afford. Even the Democrats should be smart enough to see that this country cannot go on like this for much longer. We have a country that is falling apart, but the Democrats refuse to change their ways. Mark my words, when this country does collapse, just like Spain, Italy and Greece are doing right now, the Democrats will find a way to blame it on the Republicans, that is just the way they are, they do not have the balls to accept responsibility for their actions.

Why are the Democrats so against voter I.D.’s? Because they find it hard to win an election without fraud, why else would they be against the most logical necessity for fair elections. We need an I.D. to do anything in this country today, but for the most important and sacred duty we have as American citizens, the Democrats will let anyone vote, I.D. or not. I think it is shameful.

John Van Buren: “Vote early and vote often.” You guessed it, a Democrat.

This is one man’s opinion.

“progressive” Parasites

Members of the self-imagined, self-appointed institutionalized “progressive” “intellectual elite” have no desire to discuss the reality of what was the most embarrassing DNC since Chicago 1968…can’t blame them.  If they were remotely interested in the truth, they would have already seen the sound wave analysis of the “put God back in the platform” voice vote and know that approving that vote was completely illegitimate.  Saying otherwise is pure, unadulterated propaganda, not the truth.

But, what else is to be expected from “progressives”?

They were booing the reinstatement of God and Jerusalem into the Party platform like good little “progressives”.   They were happy that bho decided against also reinstating the other deleted portions. The two regarding right of return and Hamas.  Or did their “straight shooting” news sources never even mention those?

That is what is best described as typical “progressive” behavior.  Especially from bho…”LOOK AT THIS HAND”…meanwhile, while everyone is looking at the one hand, he is picking pockets with the other.

While everyone was busy talking about the voice count debacle, most people never even noticed that the exhalted “progressive” “leader” managed to throw Israel under the bus while convincing low information voters that he had come to Israel’s rescue.

The only way bho wins in 2012 is with massive “progressive” voter fraud. Voter fraud happens to be the one and only reason Al Franken won in MN in 2008 to become the 60th “progressive” Senator. Without cheating “progressives” stealing that election, America would not now be saddled with the biggest tax hike in American history: obama”care”TAX.

The “progressives” do not want to debate the obama”care”TAX either.  After all, it is so much easier to live in denial.  They are going to be truly shocked and extremely dismayed to discover the taxes they will be forced to pay.  Yes, “progressives” will have to pay.  (And to think they are still insulted by being called useful idiots.)  Taxes that the “most transparent” administration in history” and its “honesty in government” legislative co-horts hid from them and their fellow “progressive” lemmings.  As pelosi said: “we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it”.  If “progressives” successfully steals the 2012 election and the country is stuck with obama”care”TAX, all Conservatives will be able to say to “progressives” is: SUCKERS!!! Don’t say you were not warned.

If “progressives” describe Conservatives not wanting government to hand out taxpayer funded contraceptives to women, especially those who can afford to go to Georgetown Law School, or not wanting government to use taxpayer money to pay for the wholesale slaughter of unborn children…if “progressives describe that as being involved in reproductive issues, then they are finally right about something.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

Only “progressives” believe that keeping convicted murderers alive while killing innocent, defenseless unborn babies somehow elevates them to the “moral high ground”.

They will claim that owners of media outlets tend to be Conservative…and that balances out media bias.  They are obviously deaf and blind or so completely indoctrinated that they believe the Current TV program portraying Rupert Murdock’s creation of FOX News as an attack on journalism was unbiased.

It’s only natural that 100% biased “progressives” believe, as does their so-called “president”, that America only became great AFTER “progressives” saddled the country and ensuing generations with hundreds of trillions of dollars of unfunded liabilities.  The $16 trillion national debt is only what has been borrowed.  Take a look at the bottom of the national debt clock chart and see how much is currently owed in unfunded liabilities like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and obama”care”TAX.

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

Only a “progressive” who “feels” it is “good” to run up that kind of debt would overlook the harsh reality that that is completely unsustainable.  If they are so eager to live in Greece, let then move there and stay there.  Losing the likes of “progressives” to Europe would be America’s gain.

Sure, they may have been born in this country; they may even have a birth certificate to prove that they are legally citizens.  But the “progressive” idea of centrally planned big government, where rights are determined by the government, where an oligarchy dictates to businesses, industries and the masses, deemed incapable of governing themselves, is NOT an American idea.  It is a European idea brought to America by the Fabian Socialists from England and the Frankfurt School from Germany.  It’s as progressive as returning America to the rule of King George.

The American idea, that men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that  to secure these Rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, where the Freedoms and Liberties of each and every individual are a birthright, originated in the 13 colonies.  It is found in the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and is explained in the Federalist Papers.  All were written in America by Americans.

Someone either believe in the American idea, an idea that made America the greatest nation in the history of the planet, or they believe in the “progressive” idea, which over the past 100 years has been slowly eroding the foundation principles and economic security of the world’s one exceptional nation.  The only nation ever founded upon an idea.

If you are a “progressive” you are not an American.  If you are an American, you are not a “progressive.”

Since “progressives” are demonstrably incapable of perceiving what is subtly conveyed, it should be put in terms even a “progressive” can understand: “progressives” are parasites.  Their host will return to health and thrive only after the “progressive” parasites are removed and are no longer draining the host’s life blood.

May bho and every other “progressive” politician infesting America lose every election, may every biased member of the institutionalized “progressive” left news media lose every job, may every grey-haired, pony-tailed Marxist lose every position they hold in academia, and may every Hollywood Marxist leave America and remain outside America….in perpetuity.

Voter Fraud—Does It Matter?

Too many people think their one vote doesn’t matter. That voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers won’t really affect the outcome. That when ACORN registers people who are not eligible to vote it won’t be enough to make a difference.

They are wrong.

This week Stuart Varney spent a few minutes discussing the voter fraud in Minnesota. Did you know 1,099 convicted criminals voted in that election? Already 113 have been convicted of violating the MN crime of “being an ineligible voter and knowingly voting.”

If you consider that Al Franken ended up winning his senate seat by only 312 votes suddenly voter fraud becomes important. And when you remember that this win gave the senate the 60 vote majority needed to sign Obama’s Health Care bill, it is even more important.

Your vote does matter. But you only get one vote. You should be allowed to freely vote without intimidation, bribery or other unlawful tactics. And you don’t want your vote to be cancelled out by someone who doesn’t meet the constitutional standards to be eligible to vote.

Stop Voter ID Laws – Stop Discriminating Against Dogs

Ironically enough, I found this one on Huffington Post.

Yep, Buddy the voting dog. That is the most recent one, of course. Over the years there have been many stories of this kind, with people registering pets, and if memory serves, I think someone actually registered an inanimate object to vote. Now, the Dems might be trying to argue that voter fraud is not a major problem. It is true that a very small number of fraudulent ballots or voter registrations are caught each election cycle. However, it is foolish to think that is the real extent of fraud, because the current laws are far too lax to get an accurate picture of the problem. (Seriously folks? The fact that people can get away with registering their pets to vote doesn’t make you think twice on this?)

Here in Pennsylvania, I will have to present my ID in order to vote. This is laughable to me, considering the fact that out of five poll workers at my poll, only one didn’t hold me as a baby, and she’s known me for over a decade now. Sure, it’s funny, but necessary. Not everyone votes in a precinct where they count voters in the hundreds. And while those ladies that really do know who I am go through the motions and make me show them ID, some of their brethren will be refusing to enforce the law. Personally? I think anyone that says that should be fired.

Now, while the left is frothing at the mouth about disenfranchising dogs, and people that are living so far under the radar that they can’t manage to get a free ID to vote in Pennsylvania, this administration is working hard in Ohio to make sure that the military votes won’t necessarily end up being counted. First, beyond the fact that this is reprehensible, I should point out that this is yet another politically motivated move – the Obama camp is worried that the military folks might be ticked off at their man, and won’t vote for him. Ohio is a Heroes Vote All-Star state. There are only 15, and bluntly, people should be screaming to find out why there aren’t 50. You want to yell about disenfranchising, how about yelling about suppressing military votes? And if you think it’s not insulting to our active military that there’s even an argument about requiring at least as much as it takes to buy a brew or a pack of smokes to cast a ballot….

But hey, this isn’t 2000 anymore. I’d be willing to bet that there would be Dems lined up everywhere demanding Voter ID laws then.

Mr. Holder, Regarding Voter Rights, Please Be Specific

On May 30, 2012, at a meeting of the Conference of National Black Churches convened by the
Congressional Black Caucus in Washington D.C. to discuss voting laws, Attorney General Eric Holder said, “… across the country, both overt and subtle forms of discrimination remain all too common and have not yet been relegated to the pages of history.” Citing Congressman John Lewis (D-GA), Holder said that voting rights are, "under attack… [by] a eliberate and systematic attempt to prevent millions of elderly voters, young voters, students, [and] minority and low-income voters from exercising their constitutional right to engage in the democratic process."

Holder told the meeting that state laws requiring photograph identification are intended to prevent African Americans from voting because nearly one in four black people lack one.

Holder was addressing voter identification laws that several states have passed to try to update voter rolls that have been compromised by the ease with which non-citizens can register to vote, and by efforts to register ineligible voters by groups like ACORN, as well as to reduce voter fraud.

He said those things while reaffirmed the Justice Department’s commitment to the section of the Voting Rights Act which prohibits certain states from making changes to their election laws without first getting federal approval. Holder says that lawsuits brought by as many as nine states in the last two years to challenge parts of the Voting Rights Act are proof of an aggressive and determined attempt to disenfranchise millions of voters.

Here is the full
text
of Holder’s speech.

The problem with his remarks cited above, as well in his entire speech, is that it never provides SPECIFIC examples of "overt and subtle forms of discrimination." His entirespeech is filled with generalities.

The closest he comes to being specific is his referencing of fifteen Justice Department (DOJ) initiated lawsuits against states that "…fails to meet its burden of proving that a proposed voting change would not have a racially discriminatory effect…." If, as Holder suggests, any voter discrimination and/or injustice has occurred that "remain all too common, Conservative Daily News readers would lead the fight to alleviate the situation.

What has actually happened? In 2005, Indiana passed its voter ID law. AG Eric Holder warned that the law was designed to and would prevent minorities from voting. But minority voting increased. Georgia passed a similar law in 2005, and it was reinstated in 2007. Georgia experienced similar minority voting increases. So much for Holder’s credibility.

But not one word from Holder about voter fraud.

Florida has been instructed by the DOJ to stop updating its voter rolls. A letter from the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ was delivered to Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner, ordering Florida to stop its review of some 182,000 registered voters. The review encompassed all 67Florida counties. But because five of the counties are subject to restrictions under the Voting Rights Act, and must get DOJ pre-clearance, the entire state must stop. Florida’s elimination of non-U.S. citizens from its voter rolls is necessary to prevent voter fraud.

The Brennan Center For Justice says, quot;Every voter should demonstrate that they are who they say they are before voting. That form of proof should not include restrictive documentation requirements like overly burdensome photo ID or redundant proof of citizenship requirements that serve to block millions of eligible American citizens from voting." This is the same Brennan Center
For Justice that says voter
fraud
is both extremely rare and that raising the unsubstantiated specter of mass voter fraud suits a particular policy agenda.

Do I detect inconsistency here? If voter fraud is so rare, so unsubstantiated, then why should every voter demonstrate, as the Center suggests, who he/she is before voting? Again, no specifics, just a citation of an unsubstantiated specter of mass voter fraud.

The Center, in October, 2011, said that over 5
million people
could be denied the right to vote under new laws adopted in twelve states. The Center report said that new laws regarding photo identification requirements for voting, eliminating same day voter registration, requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote, changing requirements for voter registration drives, and reducing early voting days will make voting harder for 5 million people in the 2012 election.

The Center further comments that studies show that as many as 11 percent of eligible voters do not have
government-issued photo ID. That percentage is even higher for seniors, people of color, people with disabilities, low-income voters, and students.

By the way, this site has an up-to-date voter requirement list, what is requested/required to vote, and what non-compliance options are available.

But then, as in the South Carolina case, a photograph identification requirement in order to vote would increase the difficulty of Holder retaining his job.

So we are getting confirmation of what we already knew: that Attorney General Eric Holder is all talk!

But that’s just my opinion.

Eight Democrats Arrested For Ballot Fraud In Troy NY

Troy, NY city councilman Gary Galuski became the eigth Democrat implicated by Rensselaer County officials in connection with the 2009 Working Families Party primary ballot fraud case.

New York’s Working Families Party, which is closely connected with ACORN and SEIU, frequently co-endorses Democratic candidates for public office.

The part of James O'Keefe's video that no one is talking about

James O’Keefe’s latest video – in which several election officials in New Hampshire handed out ballots for dead people – has a lot of people talking about the issue of requiring photo ID at polling places.  But for me, it immediately brings up a different question.

Why should it be illegal to videotape public officials?

When some local politicians in New Hampshire found out that election officials had been handing out ballots for voters who were already dead, they were outraged… with O’Keefe!

For example, look at the reaction of Nashua City Clerk Paul Bergeron:

“They recorded it without election officials’ knowledge, which apears to be a violation of our New Hampshire wiretapping codes, and some of these are out of state residents, so I don’t know if violations of wiretapping or ID theft could hold up in court, but if they crossed state lines to commit these crimes, it may be a federal crime as well. This is serious; we won’t tolerate voter fraud, regardless of what the intent might be,” Bergeron said.

“If these are New Hampshire residents they should lose their right to vote forever, in addition to fines or imprisonment. I take it seriously, and people shouldn’t dismiss this as just a harmless stunt; it’s not,” Bergeron said.

Wow – this guy takes fraud really seriously!  Any time fraud happens he’s pounding his desk demanding that something be done about it.  Except that, I haven’t been able to find one quote from him expressing even the slightest concern about how easy it was for someone to walk into a polling place and get a fraudulent ballot.

If that seems inconsistent, it is.  And a quick look at the Nashua web site will tell you exactly why Bergeron is furious about the undercover video that was taken… but reluctant to talk about how vulnerable this election was to fraud:

[The City Clerk’s Office] conducts all local, state and national elections…

So Bergeron isn’t really angry that someone allegedly broke a random law about videotaping public officials.  He’s angry because someone is spotlighting the fact that he didn’t do enough to ensure the integrity of this election.

Now that his ineffectiveness is getting publicity, rather than take responsibility, Bergeron is attacking James O’Keefe – plain and simple.

Another politician who’s outraged and demanding that O’Keefe and his associates be “prosecuted to the full extent of the law” is New Hampshire Governor John Lynch.  Why?  Last year he vetoed a bill that would have required a person to show photo ID in order to vote.  In hindsight, maybe Lynch is realizing that that wasn’t the best decision.

In reality, neither of these guys are genuinely outraged by this voter fraud.  Their reaction can be explained with three letters: C-Y-A.  That’s all it is.  They are angry that someone is drawing attention to their ineptitude so they are lashing out at the person doing it.

This perfectly demonstrates why we as citizens need to be legally able to videotape our public officials.  Unfortunately, this type of reaction is common when someone in a position of authority is challenged because people in power will often do whatever they need to do to hold on to that power.

Our elected officials have a lot more resources at their disposal than the average citizen and can even use their position in government to retaliate against anyone who exposes their shortcomings. Because of the enormous power that comes simply from being in government, we as citizens need to have the most powerful defense available to us – video tape.

But this is about much more than just defending ourselves from being persecuted by out of control politicians.  Video is also by far the most effective way for individuals to create change in the policies of government.  In fact, O’Keefe’s video has already prompted an investigation.

As New Hampshire’s unfortunately named Assistant Attorney General explained:

According to the Union Leader, state Associate Attorney General Richard Head said his office became aware of the effort on Election Day and began investigating immediately.

“That investigation is ongoing,” he said. “Based on the information received on Election Day and the information on the video, we are undertaking a comprehensive review of voting procedures with the Secretary of State.”

Now do you think O’Keefe would have gotten an immediate reaction like that if he had obtained ballots for dead people and then written an article about it?

What if he had interviewed election officials and written about that?

How about if he had written a letter to the Attorney General?

Of course not.  If he had used any or even all of those methods there is no way that Richard Head would already be reviewing the voting procedures.  That is the power of video.

It all comes down to the balance of power between the people and the government – and right now the scales are tipped way too far in favor of the government.  Because of that, videotaping public officials is a tool that we must have at our disposal if we are going have any chance of properly holding our government accountable.

Voter ID video reveals ties to radical front groups

The League of Women Voters Minnesota has been fighting voter identification legislation for years, but with a Republican controlled State House and Senate pushing for a ballot initiative, the League has ramped up their opposition.

The following 17 minute commercial (LWV calls it a documentary) entitled “Democracy for All? The Barriers of Photo ID” was funded in part by a large grant by The Joyce Foundation.

Democracy for All? The Barriers of Voter ID from LWV Minnesota Education Fund on Vimeo.

The Joyce Foundation is headquartered in Chicago, IL and has an influential list of past board members.

Then Senator Barack Obama and current Senior Advisor to the President (and BFF of the First Lady) Valerie Jarrett were board members in the early 2000’s. In 2001, Obama secured more than $1 million in funding from the Joyce Foundation to launch the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) with the help from former Goldmann Sachs CEO Hank Paulson. By legislative mandate, CCX was to be the trading outlet for Cap & Trade had the bill passed in Congress. CCX has since dissolved. Learn the ties between GE, CCX, Al Gore, and Goldmann Sachs here.

The Joyce Foundation also grants money to the Tides Foundation (a.k.a. George Soros pet project), the Center for American Progress, which is credited with writing the stimulus bill of 2009 (and where former Energy Czar and communist-leaning Van Jones hangs out), and Take Action Minnesota, which has made headlines recently for organizing and funding “occupy” protesters in the Twin Cities. In 2010, the Joyce Foundation granted Take Action Minnesota $350,000 to “advance a political reform agenda that encompasses election administration…” according to the foundation’s website.

Beyond the ties to a Soros-funded, radical, progressive group, the video is also full of misleading statistics, discrepancies and exaggerations. The League of Women Voters MN held a screening of “Democracy for All?” today in White Bear Lake, MN.

Live Free or Die- Either Way,Vote: O'Keefe Exposes Voter Fraud

A few days ago I authored a post about the insanity of the Department of Justice and the NAACP as they prepared to bring suit against South Carolina in protest of recent voter i.d. laws enacted there.  South Carolina officials feel requiring citizens to present identification at the polls would cut down on voter fraud.  The DOJ and NAACP felt it was a direct attack on minorities whom, as we know, are wandering around all over this fair land without a clue who they are.   They even went so far as to approach the United Nations to send officials to monitor our elections and root out racism at the polls.  Of course we on the right understand that this is nothing more than a ploy to continue to allow Democrats to perpetrate voter fraud in order to win elections.  Their base is unions, dead people and illegal aliens.  How can a ghost vote if they have to present i.d. first? Its bad business for Democrats.  The argument against voter i.d. reaches into the same tired, old racist bag of tricks, and often includes the defense that fraud like this almost never happens.  It’s a right-wing nutjob fantasy.

Enter James O’keefe and his Project Veritas.  You may remember Mr. O’Keefe as the worst pimp ever (seriously, they bought that get-up?)  who exposed Planned Parenthood and ACORN corruption.  This time O’Keefe and his partners infiltrate the New Hampshire primary election process and use the names of deceased voters to procure ballots at dozens of voting locations across the state on primary Tuesday. The goal was to prove the ease with which one could defraud a voting system which requires no idea.  With the exception of one astute poll volunteer who knew the deceased, O’Keefe and crew were given ballots at every location.  One volunteer tried to explain that voter fraud would not be an issue because once a person voted, their name would be crossed off the list and no one could vote under that name again…in that location anyway.  Project Veritas operatives approached dozens of seperate polls using the same names of deceased voters and were given a ballot every time.  Watch the video here. Project Veritas also posts full, unedited video at their site.  O’Keefe has been accused in the past of “selective editing”.  It seems hard to “edit” footage into falsly showing an ACORN worker conspiring to cover up child prostitution, but whatever.  O’Keefe has his bases covered.  Every video is edited to some extent for time purposes, but if you are the suspicious type you can watch it all at the website.

If it was so incredibly simple to defraud the voter system in New Hampshire, does it not stand to reason that other states without i.d. laws and even larger populations may have an even bigger issue with fraud?  Perhaps Ben Jealous and the NAACP should take some of this footage to the U.N. as well.  If they are indeed so worried about the state of free and fair elections in the FREEST and FAIREST nation on earth, they should surely want the U.N. election monitors to be aware of this outrageous fraud.

Kudos to O’Keefe and crew for their work here.  This should be shared everywhere, and with every Democrat who swears requiring identification to vote is not only racist, but provides no help in preventing fraud. We know their real reasons behind blocking voter i.d. laws – as they say in New Hampshire: live free or die. Either way, Democrats will take your vote(s).
