Executive Order Creates Election Commission

Obama_signingPresident Obama signed an executive order last week creating the nine member Presidential Commission on Election Administration, a move he signaled as a priority during the State of the Union speech.

The Commission, co-chaired by Bob Bauer, who was Obama’s lead counsel in his 2012 campaign, and Ben Ginsberg, who held the same role in the Romney camp is tasked with studying polling locations, voter access, voting machine technology and much more.

The executive order defines the mission of the panel as follows:

“The Commission shall identify best practices and otherwise make recommendations to promote the efficient administration of elections in order to ensure that all eligible voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots without undue delay, and to improve the experience of voters facing other obstacles in casting their ballots, such as members of the military, overseas voters, voters with disabilities, and voters with limited English proficiency.”

Though a very small percentage of polling locations experienced delays on Election Day 2012, locations with arguably the highest turnout in the nation had few problems to note. Minneapolis, for example, had some polling locations with more than 100% turnout, yet Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie reported the day ran smoothly. Ritchie said of the estimated 3 million people statewide (MN had an estimated 76% voter turnout), “I think people had a really good experience.”

The debate about long lines and extensive wait times rears its head every few years, but the math simply doesn’t add up. Following the 2010 census, in accordance with a law enacted by Congress in 1975, polling locations were reviewed in each state and redistricting took place. Each Congressional district, state senate district and other districts were evaluated and potentially changed, and then approved by the states. The redistricted lines are based on census numbers so that each polling location has approximately the same number of residents, and therefore, approximately the same number of eligible voters.

Though the President’s new commission intends to study and recommend changes related to the “number, location, management, operation, and design of polling places,” “ballot simplicity and voter education,” and the “efficient management of voter rolls and poll books,” there is no mention of any attempt to dissuade voter fraud. In fact, the stated purpose of the commission is to “improve the experience of all voters.” As we have learned in the last few election cycles, not all voters abide by election laws.

Voter fraud is rampant in the United States. For a few examples, click here: EJ Haust Voter Fraud and here: Voter Fraud Still an Issue

Each state has authority over its election practices including ballots, technology, and polling locations, but the recommendations of this new commission are “intended to serve as a best practices guide for state and local election officials…” according to Josh Earnest, Deputy Press Secretary for the White House. That could prove valuable to activists seeking to make voting controlled by the executive branch.

Though the commission won’t have authority to directly override state election rules, its recommendations could conceivably be used as a tool by the Department of Justice to use when persuading judges to impose changes at the state level. The President is essentially giving credibility to a group of nine of his friends to create a “study” that will later be seen as the authority on election best practices. What Secretary of State, governor, state legislature, or judge will have the instinct to deny recommendations by this panel of experts?

The commission is required to submit its final report 6 months following its first public meeting. It will have staff, though none of the nine members will have a salary. All members will be allowed reimbursement of travel expenses.

Ohio Poll Worker Accused of Voter Fraud

Melowese Richardson, a Cincinnati poll worker who admits to voting for Barack Obama multiple times in the last election.

Melowese Richardson, a Cincinnati poll worker who admits to voting for Barack Obama multiple times in the last election.

Check out this video and story from Eric Shawn of Fox news where an Ohio poll worker, Melowese Richardson, admits to voting multiple times for President Obama, perhaps as many as six times. She is one of 19 potential cases of voter fraud being investigated in Hamilton County alone where the city of Cincinnati is located.

It’s amazing, but the cases of non-existent voter fraud from the progressive left keep cropping up. Weird!

Opposition leaders from the Republican Party are justifiably upset, but who believes that this little old black grandmother will be prosecuted, especially under this administration and an Eric Holder Department of Justice? It was Holder’s DOJ remember that refused to prosecute New Black Panther Party members who showed up at the polls in the last election in Philadelphia to intimidate voters. Those gentlemen were emboldened by Holder’s lack of action and had the audacity to show up again this election season.

In Minnesota, voters defeated a bill aimed at eliminating voter fraud by requiring photo ID at the polls, (or did we?)The integrity of the election system is continually under assault by people who will stop at nothing to get the politicians they want. How can we believe that the rights of the so called minority are being upheld if we don’t really know who the minority is? There may be some truth to the notion that Barak Obama failed to win any state with a voter ID election law. Does that mean those laws are working or is it because those laws ‘disenfranchise’ certain voters?

With issues such as health care, drones targeting American Citizens abroad, civil rights and gun control on the table, how can any of us afford to be disenfranchised by voters who cheat? Something has to be done to keep these fraudsters at bay or we will lose our representative republic forever.

It doesn’t matter what party commits fraud, voter fraud hurts all of us.

That Funny Leftist Equation about Voter I.D.

I know it’s kind of a blase issue now that the 2012 elections are over, but I felt the urge to write on the topic of voter I.D. after seeing a Facebook friend writing something about voter suppression in a status update. For those unfamiliar with the left’s equation for voter I.D. requirements, it goes like this : voter I.D. = voter suppression = RACISM! Yet, oddly enough, those who cry about this the most on the left don’t seem to realize that they come perilously close to racism by making the blanket assumption that all people they believe that would be affected by voter I.D., namely people of color and people on the lower ends of the socioeconomic scale, are completely unable to find the smallish amounts of money and time it takes to get some form of valid identification.

But I digress.

As one Internet meme that sprung up in the months leading up to the election pointed out, ID is required to vote in Mexico. I mean, heck, even PBS wrote about this fact in July of this year. I did some (admittedly minimal) research to try and find out what other countries might require ID in order to vote in order to protect the integrity of elections. I found out that in Northern Ireland in the UK, ID is required to vote. Along with that little tidbit, it appears Argentina, Sri Lanka, Estonia, Israel, South Africa, and Uruguay all require identification in order to vote.

What was even more interesting, at least in my mind, were the responses I got from two friends on Twitter. The person with the duck avatar you’ll see below lives in Germany, while the person with the My Little Pony avatar resides in Italy.

First, my German friend:

I like how she used “of course”, like it’s perfectly normal and logical to understand that when a person goes to vote, it should be clear to all that person is exactly who they say they are. Again, not sure why this is such a difficult issue for the professional left of academia and media to understand here in the U.S., but so it goes, I suppose.

And here’s the response from my Italian friend:

So in two European countries typically considered more liberal and libertine than the United States, the necessity of identification for voting seems well understood. But, here in the United States, you would hardly know that the rest of the world sees voter ID as a common sense precaution to maintain election integrity. Instead, you get cries of “JIM CROW REBORN!” , “RACISM!”, and “DISENFRANCHISEMENT!”

When election time ramps up in two years again, and when this fun little subject comes back to the forefront of the left’s collective psyche, just make sure to remind them that numerous countries around the world require ID to vote. And then, the fun, part… Ask them:

So, are all those countries RACIST?!

Voter Fraud? What Voter Fraud?

There appeared in The New Yorker magazine, in October 2012, an article entitled “The Voter-Fraud Myth” by Jane Mayer. The article cites anecdotal evidence, such as the Teresa Sharp incident in Hamilton County OH, to support its contention. The Ohio Voter Integrity Project challenged her right to vote based on a government-compiled list of local properties and mistakenly identifying her house as a vacant lot. Key words here: “government-compiled list.” Did the Ohio Voter Integrity Project correctly challenge Sharpe’s registration? Yes, based upon examine of a government-compiled list. Did the article discuss that the government-compiled list was incorrect? No. Then the article cited Sharpe’s comments as if she is an expert.

It was like a kangaroo court. There were, like, ninety-four people being challenged, and my family and I were the only ones contesting it! I looked around. The board members and the stenographer, they were all white people. The lady bringing these challenges, she was white, and reminded me of Gladys Kravitz – the nosy neighbor on the sitcom “Bewitched.”

But NOWHERE in the article is it mentioned that Sharpe was prevented from voting. The article concluded that voter fraud is a myth, that other incidences have never happened, that any challenge alleges voter fraud.

There is an article entitled “Policy Brief on the Truth About ‘Voter Fraud'” at the Brennan Center For Justice at New York University School of Law. The article concludes that fraud by individual voters is both irrational and extremely rare because the single vote is simply not worth the price. Key words here: “individual” and “single.” The article continues:

Because voter fraud is essentially irrational, it is not surprising that no credible evidence suggests a voter fraud epidemic. There is no documented wave or trend of individuals voting multiple times, voting as someone else, or voting despite knowing that they are ineligible.

I agree with the Brennan Center – individual voter fraud is indeed rare. But massive voter fraud is not, as these sources illustrate:

Rick Hasen, professor of law and political science at the University of California, Irvine, when referring to voter fraud, says, “…do it wholesale, rather than retail,” meaning commit voter fraud massively rather than individually.

The shameful fact is that Democrats will continue, in the face of overwhelming evidence, to maintain that voter fraud is a myth. And the MSM will go right along with them.

But that’s just my opinion.

Should Ohio and Texas Election Officials Prosecute United Nation Election Observers

The New Black Panther Party, ACORN and NAACP have engaged in voter Intimidation and fraudulent tactics – not Republicans

The state of Ohio and Texas along with Florida and Wisconsin are on the United Nation’s Election Day hit list when it comes to their officials showing up at state polling locations.  It seems that these United Nations officials have the mistaken belief that they have the legal right to intervene in how Ohio and other states are running their Election Day activities.  Their organization the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe is showing up because the nearly impotent NAACP and the discredited ACORN organization requested that they oversee possible voter suppression.

The fact that outside countries can use the guise of the United Nations to come into sovereign states and cities like Cleveland, or Columbus, Ohio, or Houston Texas, or any other city in America is without merit.  If one single United Nation’s official illegally steps within the 100 foot limit of a polling precinct they will become quite familiar with American jurisprudence.

The Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has already publically stated that if a United Nation’s official breaks Texas law by interfering with its election process within the 100 foot limit, he will have them prosecuted to the full extent of Texas law and justice.  Jay Sekulow, head of the American Center for Law and Justice affirmed this and other similar developments around the nation, on Fox News, Friday, November 2nd.

First and foremost is the erroneous notion that a foreign nation has the purposeful audacity to believe it can set one soiled boot on Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin state soil.  Could these so-called officials of the NAACP or ACORN be that incompetent about how state government and the U.S. Constitution actually work?   The United States Constitution is still the law of the land, as is the 10th Amendment, which clearly states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.”  This includes election law.

News flash, nowhere in the U.S. Constitution does it say that state election officials should bow, submit,  or be subject to interference by the United Nations.  Foreign governments do not dictate terms to the United States of America or states about how and what it does regarding elections or any other sovereign action.  In other words, United Nations officials take your pens, pads and notebooks to the nearest motel room and watch the election results like any other person.

What is disturbing about this entire misleading scenario is how the United Nations could ignore due diligence in taking a letter from organizations that offered them no legal proof of voter suppression or intimidation.  Before the United Nations started snooping into America’s business, why not go over legal proof of voter suppression and intimidation legal cases from the U.S. Justice Department?  What about the states they are targeting?  Oops, that would be a big negatory since no proof of voter suppression or voter intimidation by Republicans exist!

Why did this so-called finder of fact committee set up by the United Nations not investigate the organizations that made the request?  Take ACORN, which had officials engaging in voter fraud in Cleveland in 2008, who were illegally signing up voters multiple times.  One voter even testified that ACORN voter registrars signed him up 72 times to vote.  Their voter fraud activities are legendary.  In Missouri in 1986, 12 ACORN members were convicted of voter fraud. Also in 1986, in St. Louis, six ACORN volunteers plead guilty to a myriad of election law violations.

The NAACP which also requested United Nations intervention into suspected Republican voter suppression has election fraud skeletons in its own closet. The organization made up fraudulent claims in 2000 against then Governor George Bush about voter intimidation and the lack of prosecution of a fatal attack on a black man.  In addition, in 2011, NAACP Tunica County, Mississippi executive committee member Lessadolla Sowers was convicted on 10 counts of fraudulently casting absentee ballots in a substantial voter fraud scheme. So much for integrity!

Then of course there is the infamous voter intimidation case in 2008 against the New Black Panther Party, which openly intimidated white voters in Philadelphia.  The Obama U.S. Justice Department refused to prosecute the case, despite overwhelming evidence, and an actual video which captured their thug-like tactics.

Where is the voter intimidation?  Where is the voter fraud?  The answer is real simple and it lands squarely at the feet of the NAACP, New Black Panther Party and ACORN.  They engage in these divisive tactics to intimidate, threaten, and if nothing else works, cry racism while attempting to steal elections.  Well, legally appointed poll watchers in Texas, Ohio, and Florida and at other state polling location will have their camera phones and they will be recording on Election Day.  This will prevent United Nation officials and their NAACP, ACORN or New Black Panther Party comrades in arms from disrupting the legitimate business of voting.

In the end, the lesson for the unwelcome United Nations visitors is clear and it should be convincing.  America is a sovereign nation which has a system of justice that is based on the U.S. Constitution, and not on some third-world dictatorship masquerading as a legitimate democracy.  You cannot bully nor can you intimidate America or any sovereign state.

So, UN officials take the hint, if you step within that 100 foot limit in Cleveland, Ohio, Houston, Texas, Tampa, Florida or any other voter precinct on the sovereign soil of the United States of America, you will get the full taste of what it means to break the state’s laws.  It will definitely be at your peril.

This is America and when its officials insist to you to “get off of my land,” Americans do not take kindly with having to remind you twice.   ( Click and let me know what you think  )

UPDATE: Criminal Investigation Launched in Rep Moran Voter Fraud Scandal

Virginia Congressman Jim Moran’s son and former campaign field director is now the subject of a criminal investigation, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The investigation has been opened as a result of the James O’Keefe video released yesterday that exposes Patrick Moran aiding an undercover citizen journalist commit voter fraud, including suggesting that the journalist forge utility bills.

Details of the investigation are still forthcoming. No charges have been filed at this time.

More than an isolated incident… OFA campaign staffers in MN laugh off double voting, video.

UPDATE: Moran’s Son Resigns After Caught on Tape

UPDATE: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION OPENED

Virginia Congressman Jim Moran’s son has some explaining to do…

Citizen journalist James O’Keefe has been relentless in recent weeks exposing widespread apathy by campaign officials across the country. His first video in the current series featured an undercover investigative journalist receiving help from a DNC staffer at an Obama for America field office to double-vote which is a felony. That staffer has since been fired and the Houston OFA office has been closed.

O’Keefe’s second video features the story of a Minnesota woman who is currently registered to vote in two states despite attempts to be removed from the Florida rolls. It also exposes total apathy from the Hopkins, MN OFA field office staff when confronted with the idea of voting twice.

O’Keefe’s videos demonstrate the culture of cheating and the “win at all costs” mentality of many operatives in several states including Texas, Minnesota, New York and others.

This latest bombshell video involves more than low-level staffers and apathy toward fraud. The video released today via Project Veritas features Democrat Congressman Jim Moran’s son, who also serves as campaign field director, assisting an undercover journalist with forging utility bills, encouraging impersonation and aiding voter fraud to the tune of more than 100 voters on the rolls.

At one point in the video Moran says that forging a “bank statement would be tough, but you can forge a utility bill with ease.”

Patrick Moran resigned from his post within hours of the video’s release. No comment has been received from the congressman’s office.

UN To Monitor America’s Elections

The Hill has reported the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a UN affilate, will send monitors from several nations to the United States to observe and report on the November 6th election.

When the ACLU, Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and the NAACP met with the UN group this week, members complained about voter integrity laws and right-leaning organizations. According to the Hill report, the leftwing “civil rights” groups sent a letter to senior official Daan Everts which read in part that the monitoring was necessary because of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.”

The Hill report fails to confirm who within the federal government approved the request to have the OSCE monitor the United States’ November election, though the group has been monitoring member states’ elections since 1990.

As Minnesota has recently been exposed as a very easy state in which to commit voter fraud, and because there is a heated battle between left and right over whether or not the state should institute photo identification at the polls, the following was sent to Secretary of State Mark Ritchie office for comment.

The Hill reported today that the international monitors will be at US polling locations (as they have done in the past) on November 6th.

1. How does Secretary Ritchie feel about the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a UN organization, monitoring elections in the US?

2. Wille there be any monitoring by the OSCE in Minnesota? Which precincts? Will that information be made public so that poll watchers and election judges are aware?

3. The report indicates that the UN group will also be monitoring other aspects of the election process. If in Minnesota, will the monitors be accessible to media? Will surrogates for candidates, campaigns or political parties be allowed to monitor the international monitors?

4. Is Secretary Ritchie satisfied with the current system in Minnesota and confident it is devoid of fraud, election integrity issues and/or voter suppression?

Despite both email and telephone attempts, no reply has been received.

But… There Is No Voter Fraud, Right?

The most common argument heard from those against voter integrity laws is that “there is no voter fraud.” Here’s a short list from the last 2 years that proves their theory wrong… dead wrong.

Arkansas – Two and one half hours prior to Former President Bill Clinton took the stage at the Democrat National Convention, a Police Official, Democratic State Representative, a City Councilwoman were arrested in an absentee balloting scandal in Clinton’s home state of Arkansas. Since that date, those three and 5 others have been charged with 45+ counts related to voter fraud.

Iowa – State Police arrested 3 individuals for allegedly committing voter fraud. 2 Canadian nationals and 1 Mexican national now face charges.

Maryland – Democratic Congressional Candidate Wendy Rosen dropped out of her race for state office when it was revealed she had voted twice in 4 elections, once in person and the other via absentee ballot.

Massachusetts – Jack Villamaino, a selectmen in East Longmeadow and former candidate for State Representative, and his girlfriend have been charged with at least 9 counts of absentee voter fraud.

Florida – The Tampa Bay Times reports a school board member Abra Hill Johnson, Supervisor of Elections Jada Woods Williams and 7 others have been part of a large absentee voting scandal. Johnson won her seat on the school board by just 28 votes.

Texas – Fort Bend County Commissioner’s Court candidate and Republican Precinct Chairman Bruce Fleming has cast ballots in both Texas and Pennsylvania in the last three federal elections.

All of the above cases have taken place in recent years, yet opponents to voter integrity laws will continue to claim there is no voter fraud. As if the above cases weren’t proof enough, the culture of cheating in America has become rampant. Evidenced in undercover videos released by Project Veritas, voter fraud isn’t just possible, it’s happening. And far too many are turning a blind eye.

Obama Campaign Office Closed

The Houston Obama for America Office has now been shut down
after Project Veritas video releases voter fraud investigation.

James O’Keefe, the citizen journalist best known for his investigation into the unsavory practices by ACORN employees, has been investigating voter registration fraud and the ability to cheat in American elections. He began by visiting registration locations in multiple states and attempting to register Tim Tebow and Tom Brady. In one case, a Project Veritas undercover journalist successfully received a ballot in Eric Holder’s name.

The latest string of videos exposes Obama for America and DNC staff and volunteers encouraging voter fraud. In the first video released October 10, Regional Field Director of Houston OFA headquarters Stephanie Caballero provides an undercover journalist with the paperwork necessary to vote absentee in Florida even though the reporter has indicated she will also vote in Texas. Caballero was fired within days of the video’s release.

The Houston OFA office has now been closed, according to local news reports.

In the second video released by Project Veritas, O’Keefe shows a pattern of behavior at OFA offices throughout the country that encourages illegal election practices and highlights the story of a woman who is able to vote in both Minnesota and Florida, despite repeated attempts to be removed from the Florida rolls.

O’Keefe has suggested that there may be more videos in the coming weeks. Online news sources such as The Daily Caller, Michelle Malkin, Media Matters and others have weighed in on the videos. Will your local news station cover the story? Is your state involved? Why is there a culture of cheating throughout the Obama campaign staff? Will your congressperson or senator respond to these videos? With only a few weeks until the November 6th election, will this critical investigation have an impact on the outcome?

Not Just Possible, Voter Fraud is Easy

UPDATE: Houston Obama for America Office closed following the firing of Field Director

Like most college aged young women, Erin Jones was a registered Democrat by default. She thought she was being compassionate. She thought it was “the right thing to do.” She was proud to walk into the Hillsborough County Office of the Supervisor of Elections, show her driver’s license and register to vote. Little did she know that she would remain registered at that location for more than 14 years despite marrying and changing her name, moving multiple times, registering in 2 other states and repeatedly requesting Erin Jones be removed from the Florida voter registration database.

In 1998, I married and took my husband’s last name. Shortly after, our young family moved out of Hillsborough County. We lived on the other coast of Florida for a few years, moved to Alabama for 5 years and then settled in Minnesota in 2008. Upon each move I registered to vote at my new address, always assuming that any previous registration would expire and knowing that I could no longer vote in a place I didn’t live. I considered myself to be an independent voter and cared very little about party affiliation. I just wasn’t all that concerned with politics.

Throughout the years, my parents, who still reside in Florida, would occasionally receive election information in the mail addressed to Erin Jones. Assuming it was a simple mistake, they would usually discard it. At least twice between 1999 and 2008, I called the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections and asked to be removed from their lists. But in the summer of 2008, my parents began to receive considerably more mail for Erin Jones and some of it looked rather “official.”

My parents decided to forward the mail they received to my new home in Minnesota. There were campaign literature pieces from Democratic candidates. There were sample ballots for the primary and general elections. In the summer of 2008, I made yet another phone call to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections. I begged the clerk who answered to please take me off the rolls. I explained that I hadn’t lived in Tampa for many years and how my name wasn’t even Jones anymore. I begged to be removed for fear that someone would try to vote in my name or worse, steal my identity. I was assured that I wouldn’t have to make this call again and that I would indeed be removed from the Florida voter registration database.

By the summer of 2008 I had become much more politically active. I started reading the news and investigating issues I felt would directly impact me and my growing family. I became concerned with which party affiliation truly represented my values. I became even more intrigued by voter registration policies and reflected on my own experience. Convinced that voter fraud was easier to accomplish than most would care to admit, I chose to become a poll watcher. I wanted to do a small part to ensure the integrity of elections.

I was so stunned by what I experienced on election day 2008 that I wrote about it for Examiner.com. Far from an isolated incident, I began revealing more shady election and voter registration practices in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

It became clear; voter fraud isn’t just possible, it’s easy.

Fast forward three and a half years to the summer of 2012. To my parents’ surprise, they again received election information for Erin Jones from Hillsborough County. We were all shocked to find that an official Voter Information Card, issued to Erin Jones with my previous address, was mailed directly to my parents’ home more than 100 miles from Tampa.

How could I still be on the voter registration rolls in Florida after not living or voting in the state for many years? How is it possible to be registered in two states? Why hadn’t I been removed, as requested, from the database? Why was the Hillsborough Country Supervisor of Elections sending election information to an address clear across the state? My curiosity took hold. I wanted to know if this voter identification card would allow me to receive an absentee ballot. Of course I didn’t actually want a ballot, I just wanted to know if it was possible. Being that I am registered to vote in Minnesota, this card could conceivably make it possible to vote in both states. Surely it couldn’t be this easy to vote twice, right?

I again phoned the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections. A nice gentleman answered the call and seemed knowledgable of the absentee voting process. I told him I had received my voter registration card and provided my voter identification number (FVRS#). When I asked what the process is to receive a ballot, the clerk informed me that I would simply need to let them know I wanted one. He suggested I call about 29 days before election day. The conversation concluded with me saying that if I intended to vote absentee, I would happily call back.

Imagine my parents’ disbelief when in their mailbox they find an Official Absentee Ballot addressed to Erin Jones. They promptly sent it to me, not wanting to throw it in the trash and risk someone else using it to vote using my information.

Obviously I won’t be voting twice. But I can’t be the only person who has tried to be removed from the Florida voter rolls without success. I simply can’t be the only person with this or a similar situation that allows double voting. What of the people who don’t know that they are still in the Florida voter database? And what if the mail wasn’t going to my parents’ home? What if some random person was receiving my personal registration information and chose to vote on my behalf without my knowing it?

Florida has been riddled with election integrity issues since the 2000 presidential election that left “hanging chads” the determining factor for who would be named President. Since that time, the state has had more than its share of problems. Most recently, Florida has tried to clean up their voter rolls, purging ineligible registrants, but the state has faced backlash from the Federal Department of Justice. Lawsuits have been threatened and filed by both the State of Florida and by the DOJ creating a messy situation just weeks before a closely contested presidential election.

Using the federal immigration database, Florida was able to remove over 200 non-US citizens from its rolls in early September, but obviously the purge was far from complete. There are definitely people still on the rolls who are ineligible to vote in Florida.

The question now becomes, “how do we fix the problem?” Though it’s highly unlikely anything can be done to ensure the integrity of the 2012 presidential election, this issue must be addressed and solved if the United States is to hold fair and honest elections in the future.
