In the video above, we see college students lined up to vote for Obama without a single freaking clue about some of the basic tenets of American government. When all you know is that we are a “democracy,” and majority rules, then you are more likely to support slick demagogues like Obama who promise free stuff, trample on private property rights, and act like vengeful dictators.

These millennials or whatever they hell they are aren’t ideologues; they’re just out-to-lunch. And there is a commonality of interests between the lazy, over-educated snobs who blow fortunes getting worthless educations at liberal colleges and the ignorant, under-educated folks who depend on them to loot the government on their behalf for goodies. Neither want to do any real work; and while those in the big screen-watching, X-box playing underclass take what they believe rightfully belongs to them, the upper class intelligentsia demonize the productive, the successful, the creators in the economy who make all those snazzy high-tech gadgets to begin with.

Sure, we’re supposed to believe that the sick bastards who drive the engine of the world’s biggest economy are “selfish” and “greedy” and every other epithet because they feel like paying half the country’s bill is enough. And as for the supposedly cruel market system, it is a basic fact that you can’t get rich without attending to the wants and needs of others. Go ahead, sit in your garage, poop out something into a bag, and charge a million bucks for it. Good luck making a fortune that way, kids.

But there is this primitive concept that if one is greedy and selfish, then he must be taking things that don’t belong to him. That’s wrong! It’s taking things that don’t belong to you with the force of government democracy that is morally wrong. In other words, for every one person Obama supposedly helps, he makes someone else a victim. There is no way around it, geniuses. The sh*t isn’t Obama’s. It doesn’t belong to him. He didn’t build that.

There is something Ayn Rand said in Return of the Primitive that has stuck with me, which is that the New Left rebels taking over were “Castroites”; and she pointed out that they were driven more by existentialist angst than by ideological fanaticism. She said that their literary tastes run more to Sartre and Camus than to Marx. Apparently, the literary tastes of today’s rebels run more along the lines of 50 Shades and the appropriately named Twilight.

Snide left-wing trolls will be taunting conservatives with their witless one-liners for the next four years; but let’s not fools ourselves, we’re not exactly dealing with mental giants, folks. These people don’t get their cues from stale Sunday show punditry or the New York Times as much as they do from bile-spewing gangsta rappers like Jay-Z and from post-moral Hollywood films like “Wreck-it-Ralph”

What we need now to be successful in imbuing our values into those who are anti-value and beating principles into the soft skulls of the moral relativists is a way to cut through the progressive think-smog of bullsh*t cultural innuendo and Alinsky-style character assassination. What is meaningful to Americans in their real everyday life experience? How do you make things stick emotionally as much as intellectually?

Odds are whatever it will be will be quirky, funny, and unexpected. You’ve got to go pre-cognitive; and stay tuned to CDN for an article from myself that will describe a new political paradigm of approaching American politics, instead of going by the same-old left-right dialectic. Regardless, selling the “conservative” soap is not gonna take home the knife set.

Some people may be tempted to mail it in, believing they’d rather preserve their dignity and talk to other prospective American voters like they’re, well… adults. Writing, blogging, trying to influence others in the new media environment is probably not gonna be for you. We’re all on a giant playground now, and sometimes you’ve got to use humor to take down the school bully, especially if the star quarterback who said has your back is making out with the tight end under the bleachers.

On the other side of the ‘change’ coin, it must be nice to live in the liberal netherworld of knowing how to vote each election based sheerly on who all the cool kids think should be the country’s top political celebrity for four years. Yep, despite all the conservative crowing about President Kardashian and Big Bird politics, the lefty culture trumped our smarts. Time to get over it.

We were all thinking Alinsky, when we should have been going Gramsci. In other words, a lot of bloggers were thinking ridicule hatchet-job on Obama’s character when we should have been thinking about the immense institutional and cultural resources working against us. Our constant sniping at Obama made those of us on the right come across to the young, dumb and proud of it as petty (maybe even… racist?) because our message wasn’t being reinforced through cultural media: movies, music, television, etc.

We were yelling into the cultural marxist ocean only to find that while our fellow fail whales could hear us, the giant group-think schools of lib-fish had tuned us out. We didn’t know how to change the color of the red tide except to pee in the currents.

Did you think this velvet revolution was planned yesterday? Hardly. As soon as radicals got their hands on Frankfurt School lit, they started taking over the schools, universities, news and entertainment media, and the courts. We were content to salute the flag, eat apple pie, and sing “I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy” while the left was brainwashing our kids (and damn proud of it!).

Want to live in the black-and-white era of American politics, believing we can beat the other side with newspaper editorial-type posts filled with “facts” and “figures” and “logic”? You’re probably going to be sorely disappointed by the lack of results.

In an interview with ABC News, Geithner challenges Democrats to pass Obama’s jobs bill.

As usual, in what ABC sees as Geithner’s perceived ‘bargain’, it’s nothing but borrow, borrow, borrow… spend, spend, spend.

“We can borrow money for 10 years as the government of the United States because people have confidence in this country at less than 2 percent. The responsible path now is to take advantage of the unique position we’re in as a country. People have a lot of confidence in us. Let’s take advantage of that now to do things that help growth in the short-term.”

Congressman Louie Gohmert of Texas interrupted the ritual thanking of Attorney General Eric Holder for his precious time; that is, when Holder’s not stonewalling or outright lying to the Hill. The former prosecutor and judge launched into a measured attack on the integrity of the current Department of Justice.

What set Gohmert off on his bout of righteous indignation? Holder’s revealing complaints about the political pressures he has to weigh while at the Justice department.

This type of principled outrage should be routine in a Congress that has seen unconstitutional power grabs, unfettered spending, and serial insolence from a sitting president.

That is in addition to the absurd games played by Holder alone, like the claim that mentions of “Fast and Furious” in procured emails don’t actually refer to “Operation Fast and Furious.” Yeah, that’s the ticket.

At one point, Holder retorts to Rep. Jason Chaffetz that the words don’t actually mean what they say because he has “superior knowledge.” We’ll have to take his word for it, because he has currently released only 7,600 of the 140,000 requested by Congress.

When Eric Holder wasn’t being jocular and flippant with his interlocutors, he was giving them what could be referred to as “the Holder run-around.” Darrell Issa, for his part, blasted the Attorney General for not being a good witness, because “a good witness answers the question that was asked.”

The Republicans, for their part, put on a great show, but let’s hope that it’s more than just that — a show. We’ve all had more than enough kabuki theater the last three years when it comes to getting results.

No less than a Holder censure at this stage in the game will satisfy conservatives, and most I know actually want to see him in an orange prison jumpsuit.

Let’s hope these hearings are setting the tone for a campaign season whose negative tenor was spearheaded by Democrats reaching all the way to the top. The GOP should not be afraid to take Democrats to task for their shameful abuses of political office.

When Americans went to D.C. to present the plan, Senate Democrats were more interested in politics and shut them down.

The protesters were told that once the park was cleaned that they may return, but without tents, sleeping bags or other equipment that would indicate an intent to camp out on the privately-owned park.

Hundreds of police officers, some in riot gear, descended on Zuccotti Park after midnight Tuesday in a surprise sweep of the Occupy Wall Street headquarters.

It comes just two days ahead of a massive planned demonstration Thursday marking the movement’s two-month anniversary.

Police handed out letters to protesters ordering them to temporarily evacuate the park. Police said the eviction will improve health conditions.

The Wasthington Post reports, “At about 1 a.m. Tuesday, police handed out notices from the park’s owner, Brookfield Office Properties, and the city saying that the park had to be cleared because it had become unsanitary and hazardous. Protesters were told they could return, but without sleeping bags, tarps or tents.”

Some protesters cut the locks at a private area owned by Trinity Church to set up another  illegal “occupation”. Police were quick to arrest and remove the trespassers.

Once the raid concluded, the protesters found a judge friendly to their cause to issue an order letting them back into the park with their tents and gear. Former ACLU and champion of the less fortunate Judge Lucy Billings signed the order at just after six in the morning. The city appealed and according to the Associated Press, ”Supreme Court Justice Michael Stallman on Tuesday denied a motion by the demonstrators seeking to be allowed back into the park with their tents and sleeping bags..”

The cult-like Occupiers have a “day of action” planned for Thursday as requested by Union leadership. The Occupy Wall Street folks are planning a “major disruption” at Wall Street to coincide with the activities of big labor on that day. The group’s leaders are expecting their activities to be “the most provocative yet” and lead to mass arrests.

Occupy Wall Street spokesman Ed Needham said, “I think it is very difficult to do a day of action and not expect some sort of reaction from (authorities)”.

The day of action is expected to culminate in “a block party the 1% will never forget”. Exactly how a block party will shut down the New York Stock Exchange or Wall Street overall is unclear. Needham estimates that they will have 10,000 or more marching with the Occupiers in their attempt to take over Wall Street.

The debate will be hosted by CBS News and the National Journal. The focus of tonight’s event will be on national security and foreign policy.

What to Watch For:

Rick Perry will need to have a strong performance tonight to overcome a string of debate mis-steps. He also has little foreign policy experience which may come through this evening.

Newt Gingrich will most-likely come on strong keeping-up with his strong debate appearances throughout the year. The former speaker has polled above all other candidates in the area of the military and international crisis handling.

While his domestic policies are popular among Republicans, views differ on his foreign policy and national security stances. This could be a differentiating moment for Rep. Paul, positive or negative.

Herman Cain’s business experience may not help tonight. The 9-9-9 plan will probably show up somehow, but overall expect Cain to focus on his “peace through strength and clarity” foreign policy. Specifics have been light the few times he’s mentioned it in campaign speeches and his foreign policy views have not been the subject of any real media focus or debate questioning.

Mitt Romney led the pack in a recent CBS News Poll that asked which candidate is best-suited to be Commander-in-Chief. Among likely Republican primary voters, 26% chose Romney to Gingrich’s 21%. Cain and Perry were 11% and 9% respectively.

This may be the last debate that features the entire current cast of 8. Future debates will start limiting invites to those with a larger share of support. Expect Huntsman and Santorum to miss future debate appearances as their poll numbers have stayed consistently below 5%. Bachmann could fail to receive invites shortly after that if her numbers continue to hold right at or near the 5% mark.
