My new motto is one we conservatives need to live by:  “Drown The GOP In Conservative Tea!”

Conservatism was kicked out of the GOP by a progressive inside machine and Republicans are now joined at the hip with the Democrat Party and it’s progressive policies. So why should we conservatives continue supporting RINOs who sold us out?

There is no difference between the two parties, it’s no longer Democrat versus Republican, its one big party of incestuous bureaucrats whose sole interest is power with life terms.

I’ve said it before: John Boehner and Harry Reid are politically incestuous and together they bred Nancy Pelosi’s Flying Monkeys. Unfortunately such ill-breeding gave us RINOs.

Conservatives, let’s be honest with ourselves: The Republican Party is no longer the party of Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Calvin Coolidge William  F. Buckley, Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan.  

Is Marco Rubio really conservative? Rubio sides with the King of Amnesty John McCain, because Rubio only cares about becoming the first Hispanic president. He didn’t even support Rep. Allen West of Florida during the 2012 race. Rubio stood by and let West lose his district.

What about Eric Cantor and Kevin McCarthy? They want you to believe a government program handing out universal healthcare will simply crumble and go away, so why bother defunding ObamaCare. Europe has proven government programs never crumble but expand out of control and drown economies. 

The only way to destroy government programs controlling people’s lives is to destroy government programs.

Eric Cantor is sell-out, so is Lindsay Graham.

Paul Ryan proved he’s a snake oil salesman when he campaigned against Obamacare. It would hurt his mother Betty’s Medicare. After the election Ryan stopped fighting to defund ObamaCare. He decided to delay it.

In other words: Ignore ObamaCare in favor of a Congressional job that gets to opt out of ObamaCare with fabulous healthcare opportunities.

Joe Manchin shows up for votes, but refuses to take sides in the vote except on voting procedure. Perhaps Manchin should quit his job since he is incapable of doing his job.

Mitch McConnell raised taxes that enable Obamcare expansion. How conservative!

Don’t even get me started on New Jersey’s loud-mouthed beached whale in a suit Chris Christie!

Cry-baby John Boehner wants to wait for another debt ceiling before he considers fighting ObamaCare.

Boehner and GOP leaders, with the exception of Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, are siding with Democrats not to shut down the government and defund ObamaCare, as well as holding off employer mandates until the 2014 election is over, because they don’t want the truth–Obamacare will destroy the economy– coming out and destroying vote-grabbing reelections for Republicans and Democrats.

Heaven forbid Tea Party candidates win RINO seats. The country might have leaders willing to serve limited terms doing what is constitutionally right to restore America.

Remember Boehner said he wouldn’t risk anything by pushing to defund ObamaCare:

You’ve got a Democrat president, you’ve got a Democrat Senate. It’s very difficult for us to impose our will on them. There will be opportunities ahead, but do you want to risk the full faith and credit of the United States government over ObamaCare? That’s a very tough argument to make.

The GOP imposing conservatism on progressives? Why that would force the government to acknowledge the Constitution as the law of the land!

And let’s not forget all of these men vilified Michele Bachmann for questioning why Muslim Brotherhood-connected Huma Abedin had top security clearance inside the State Department. These RINOs deemed Bachmann intolerant.

We conservatives better impose our conservative constitutional will on those imposing their progressive, anti-American, anti-Constitution will against America or we will lose this country to tyranny!

Let’s admit the truth conservatives: Republicans are no longer Republicans, they are Democrats disguised as Republicans (in the case of John McCain I would say he’s Hillary Clinton in better man’s drag). The GOP now cares more about reelections so the people serve the leaders for life through tax dollars, stolen from earned paychecks by the Federal Government, then serving the people and states they are supposed to represent, as well as this country.

It’s obvious that was the Democrat goal all along: Destroy the Republican Party’s conservative values and traditions by infiltrating the party with Democrats pretending to be Republicans.

It’s now one big party of progressive bureaucrats against conservatives.

Despite these morons showing their true progressive colors, Republican voters keep reelecting RINOS! Why? Don’t conservatives want the Constitutional Republic (we are not a democracy, the Constitution limits and divides power with separate government branches and forbids the majority to vote to impose its will upon the minority ) founded on liberty restored?

Don’t we want our fundamental rights returned?  Don’t we believe in Nature’s Laws? Or do we prefer the government’s European democracy-style will imposed upon our individual lives?

Do we want We The People or They The Government? Do we want our nation to remain Of the People, By The People, and For The People or Of, By, and For the Government?

Wake up conservatives! We lost our Grand Ole’ Party to progressives whores who married themselves to the ultimate progressive socialists—Democrats.

If Andrew Jackson Were Alive Today, He Would Shoot The Democrats, Run The Republicans Through, and Join The Tea Party!

When Americans hear the name Andrew Jackson, many believe white-washed historical myths claiming Jackson was nothing more than a racist Indian killer. Never mind warring Indian tribes were massacring friendly tribes long before settlers landed on America’s shores, and forget warring tribes were paid by the French and Spanish to kill friendly tribes and settlers,  it makes Americans appear less racist to professional race hustlers, government-indoctrinated history buffs, and politically faux Indians when Americans despise the white anti-Federalist General, ordered by the Federal Government to the frontier to stop both sides–white and Indian– from killing each other.

Jackson’s personality, which displayed a temper and fowl vocabulary, was considered indelicate for a Southern gentleman and Washington society. It’s still causes political wimps in both parties to be overcome with the vapors.

Jackson’s outspoken personality is more in line with modern-day conservatives than Jackson’s own Democrat Party that still lacks manliness.

Daniel Howe, author of Making The American Self  writes that Jackson was not the kind of politician who looked at public opinion to guide his policies: “Jackson knew what he wanted to do, and did it, and then tried to enlist public opinion in support of what it was he did.”

And like Tea Party conservatives, Jackson was despised by Washington elites and his party’s opponents. But the people were on Jackson’s side, because holding the union together and upholding the Constitution was Jackson’s goal.

Outspokenness was the reason Jackson didn’t remain in either House:  Leaders behaved like children: Constant squabbling over bills without an up or down vote.  Jackson, who demanded leaders vote or duel until someone wins, became disgusted with the slow process on behalf of the country’s leadership that left Americans hanging in the balance waiting for laws to be passed or rejected.

If only we had real men on the House floor telling politicians what they could do to themselves! Unfortunately, some leaders have a habit of doing just that to themselves…and sharing it on the internet!

Jackson said of the government:

I weep for the liberty of my country when I see at this early day of its successful experiment that corruption has been imputed to many members of the House of Representatives, and the rights of the people have been bartered for promises of office.

If Jackson were alive today, he would duel Harry Reid and John Boehner, and hurl a bucket of water on Nancy Pelosi… just to see if the rumor is true!

Jackson would no doubt join the Tea Party and tell conservatives: “If the GOP refuses to return to its conservative roots, drown the  GOP in Conservative Tea!”

The anti-Federalist Jackson demanded limited government, and  like today’s conservatives, Jackson believed all “corruption, fraud, and lies dwelt inside the White House,” causing Jackson to “fear” for his country.  Jackson said Americans were being duped by a government  “prevent[ing] the poor and humble from the tyranny of wealth and power.”

Government elites then wanted all the wealth and control, but the people kept poor. Reelecting the powerful, but kept poor.  Sound familiar?

Because Jackson believed  “the President is the direct representative of the American people,” the president must protect the people’s interests. The first goal as president: Destroy Hamilton’s Second Bank and pay off America’s national debt.

Yes: America once had a president who paid off the national debt!

The Central Bank overprinted paper while the government sent America’s gold to Europe. The nation was bankrupt and cheap paper backed paper. Jackson wanted the people in control of their property, not government, all bank deposits must be removed from the government, and gold, Jackson believed, was the best way to keep currency at values.

This is echoed by conservatives today: 

Bloomberg News reporter Joshua Zumbrun wrote in 2010 that:

A majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the nation’s independent central bank, saying the U.S. Federal Reserve should either be brought under tighter political control or abolished outright.

 

In 1832 Jackson demanded the national debt be paid down by fifty percent.  He despised the way central banking handled deposits: It was corrupt and America’s deposits unsafe. Jackson demanded:

[A]n investigation [into the BUS’s actions] kills it and its supporters dead.  Let this be had—call upon the sec’ of the Treasury who must agree with me than an investigation by Congress is absolutely necessary.” (Robert v. Remini Andrew Jackson and the Course of American Democracy: 1833-1845 (New York: Harper 7 Row, Publishers, 1984), 52.)

 

Jackson destroyed Hamilton’s Federal Reserve-style Central Bank, but, as H. W. Brands notes in his book Andrew Jackson: His Life and Times: “Andrew Jackson contributed nothing toward the charter of the new bank or the passage of the protective tariff, though the bank and the tariff would figure centrally into his career” before he became president and destroyed the Central Bank.

Robert V. Remini writes in Jackson and the Bank War: When removing one system, something must replace it in order to prevent corruption. Remini says Jackson refused to set up a bulwark-style bank to replace Hamilton’s Second Bank and protect the people’s investments from the government, because Jackson never wanted a substitute for the Central Bank unless his belief, that state banks worked better the U.S. Treasury, failed.

Jackson promised the American people he would never replace the Central Bank with another government-controlled monster unless the replacement was to his liking, not Washington bureaucrats seeking to control the people’s money.

I don’t think Jackson would be delighted to see his face on a $20 dollar Reserve note since the Reserve represents central control working against the people.

In 1913, everything Jackson feared about powerful men controlling a central bank and America’s money came to pass with Woodrow Wilson and the Federal Reserve. Still, there’s no guarantee Wilson’s Congress never would have repealed any bank bill signed by Jackson.

Next: Jackson paid off the national debt.

The government called for $13 million from the bank. Biddles could not meet the demands. Rather than admit this, Biddles asked foreign lenders to “hand over their securities” to him. The plan was illegal, violating the bank charter, adding more corruption to the BUS, and more fuel to Jackson’s fire.

Jackson a frontiersman who grew up under British tyranny, believing government “engaged in illegal activities against the people,” sold off federally owned land to the American people.

Imagine, a president who says the Government has no right being in the real estate business, that the people should own and profit off the land.

Jackson sold enough land to pay off the national debt entirely. He is the only president in U.S. history to pay off America’s national debt.

This is what conservatives today are fighting for: Limited government, low spending, abolish the Federal Reserve and IRS, and end government regulations.

I suppose if we had an authentic conservative president, he would look a lot like Andrew Jackson…but it might be racist to allow people to control their own lives.

Republicans voters keep wallowing in chaos while repeating mistakes that put America on the road to progressivism: Compromise to the Left for fear of alienating the Left.

Conservatives keep voting for candidates the GOP insists will beat Democrat candidates, and the GOP continues losing to the Democrats!

That makes us conservatives just as guilty as the GOP Machine we’ve allowed to dupe us twice, into voting for two men conservatives did not want: John McCain in 2008 and Mitt Romney in 2012.

Basically, the GOP Machine is telling conservatives that paying a Democrat hooker for sex is no different than taking your conservative Tea Party girlfriend out to dinner: “Hey, you paid for the tab!” Yes, but the piece of meat in Blue spandex is not Red Prime Rib! And you don’t pay your girlfriend for sex unless she’s a money-grubbing mistress your wife has a right to stick a fork in!

Good grief! Have we conservatives learned nothing? Maybe, because the GOP keeps pimping out votes and we conservatives keep “hooking” ourselves to the political prostitution.

Our founders must be looking down on America and thinking: “Why did we sign the Constitution if these idiots are so desperate to return their rights to kings?”

I know one thing: If Andrew Jackson were alive today, he would shoot the Democrat Party, run the Republicans through, and join the Tea Party!

The Founders, like today’s leaders, fought endlessly and nonsensically over bills on the House floor (to the point that Andrew Jackson demanded if leaders could not give an up or down vote they should duel each other), but one thing they never compromised on was framing the United States Constitution.

Many readers will insist the founders indeed compromised before signing the document. Yes, they debated how to frame a document providing The Rights of Man. They revised constantly so as not to leave out any God-given liberties, but they never compromised those liberties. That’s what modern-day Washington leaders and kings do.

The Constitution is not a compromise, it is in fact a provision of evidence upholding the laws of liberties that exist from mankind’s creation.

The Framers did not formulate what we see inside the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, God created those liberties—Natures Laws.

Federalist and Anti-Federalist were in one accordance: The Laws of Nature are laws no man or government has rights to trample, that these God-given liberties, given unto us at creation, must be upheld, promoted and provided for, sustained and protected by a limited government reined in by the people.

That’s not compromising, negotiating, or meeting halfway, as leaders of the modern-day GOP do when coping with Democrats for settlements designed only to gain votes for life-termed power versus promoting the American Experiment and individualism that made this country great. The framing and signing the Constitution was a coming together as one people to buttress the foundations of liberty on paper so all would see their rights are God-given, not government provided.

Why is that difficult for conservatives to hold onto and believe in? Are we afraid of taking care of ourselves, of making our own money we spend and save as we individually choose? Are we afraid to control of an out of control monster called government?

Furthermore, when it came to separate parties, the Founders did not believe both parties should work together. Today’s dysfunctional leadership has become one incestuous family party.

Unfortunately John Beohner and Harry Reid came together to breed Nancy Pelosi’s Flying Monkeys.  

The Founders fought each other rabidly. They did not get along or live peacefully together. They bickered, debated policies and philosophies, and tried to undermine one another, with Andrew Jackson going so far as to challenge fellow leaders to duels.

The fighting by anti-Federalists was the refusal to break the Constitution’s laws.

Here is an example of refusal to trample the Constitution: The anti-Federalists considered the President’s annual address to Congress a parliamentary act of the King of England and wanted the address abolished abolished.

Next: Congress decided to fashion and hold annual addresses! Andrew Jackson, in righteous indignation, stood up in the House of Congress, demanding both actions cease. Jackson told President Washington and Congress they were not communicating the British wrongs perpetrated against America—hijacking American ships. Washington had disregarded addressing Britain’s actions toward America trading on the high seas. Jackson insisted President Washington was acting like the British king. Thomas Jefferson and Congress sided with Jackson’s demands to abolish the annual address. Republicans agreed with the Democrat Jackson: America must never revert backward! Congress took a vote and ended the Presidential Annual Address to Congress. It would not be heard again until the Progressive Woodrow Wilson enacted it back into law.[1]

If only Modern-day GOP leaders would make uncompromising demands and stop acting like the House of Lords!

More often than not Republicans surrender and agree to whatever terms Democrats demand so the GOP won’t look bad in the eyes of the people they desperately want voting Republican. That compromise has destroyed the Republican Party and given Democrats the upper hand in pushing the country into socialism.

Compromise has made America lose her way on a progressive path leading to destruction.

Parties’ working together as one disbands competition and disallows each party to branch out individual ideas.

Compromise creates one big government party that overreaches its power into the states and thrusts tyranny upon the people.

It is one thing to work together to create a free country based on liberty for all and another to sell out the people’s independence for political power and control over individuals.

It is one thing for leaders to work together to trade America’s manufactured goods for prosperity and quite another to sell out American manufacturing to enemies profiting off America’s economic decline.

It is one thing for the GOP to work together with the Tea Party to tear down the progressive ideologies of the Democrat Party (as they should be doing versus trashing conservatives) and entirely another to sell out traditional conservative values for Democrat votes.

Compromise is what people are forced to do under monarchy. Is that any different than two parties working together as one? No, that simply creates a large aristocracy of government elites controlling the amount of liberty the people are allowed.

If we conservatives continue compromising to whatever the GOP tells us and we vote for whomever the GOP tells us to vote for in the 2014 and 2016 elections, its our fault if America goes down.

Sometimes I wonder why we outlawed dueling!

Consultants Who Think They Are Kingmakers

A Virginia consultant no voter ever heard of endorses a candidate for governor nobody really likes and somehow it’s on the front page of the Washington Post’s Metro section. It reminds me of what Democrats formerly called the ‘Shrum Primary.’  That was the jockeying Democrat presidential candidates went through to try and persuade Bob Shrum to join their campaign as lead media consultant and strategist.

It wasn’t quite like a barefoot Emperor Henry IV standing in the snow begging the forgiveness of Pope Gregory VII, but it was close. The Shrum spectacle went on for a number of presidential elections until someone noticed (keep in mind Democrats are often blind to the obvious) that Shrum candidates were never called Mr. President after the election.

There is a larger question regarding both of these instances — who cares and how large does your ego have to be to think someone does?

This week’s ‘newsmaker’ is Boyd Marcus, described by the Posties as “a veteran Republican political consultant.” Marcus is famous as the architect of George Allen’s U.S. Senate victory over incumbent senator Tim Kaine last November. At a time when madcap TEA Party candidates were discussing women’s private parts or God’s plan for rape, ‘mainstream’ George Allen was cruising to victory.

Wait, my mistake. That’s what Marcus assured us was going to happen after ‘electable’ Allen (he can raise money, you know) got the nomination. So when November came around, Marcus and the rest of the Allen brain trust were perched inside the Mitt Romney Momentum Express bus waiting for the acceleration to kick in. They are still waiting.

It’s completely in character for Marcus to move from Republican Allen’s rerun Senate candidacy to a revenge endorsement of Democrat Terry McAuliffe in this year’s Virginia governor’s race. Marcus, who formerly only worked in Republican campaigns, says he is proud to endorse McAuliffe because Terry is the only candidate for governor willing to cut him a check.

Whoops, another mistake on my part.

For public consumption Marcus said, “I was looking at the candidates, and I saw Terry McAuliffe as the guy who will work with everybody to get things done.” Then McAuliffe wrote him the check. And what a deal! If only endorsements for the Democrat money–man were all a simple financial transaction! McAuliffe wouldn’t have to waste time shaking hands and pretending to be interested in what some Virginia hillbilly thinks about the deficit.

The McAuliffe campaign also issued its own bizarre Marcus quote, “I’ve never before supported any Democrat, but this election Terry is the clear choice for mainstream conservatives.” Translation: McAuliffe is the clear choice for self–involved turncoats whose support is for sale.

The real reason Marcus decided to monetize his political sympathies was his candidate for governor in Virginia — Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling — dropped out of the race when Ken Cuccinelli supporters in the Republican Party changed the nomination format from a primary to a convention. This completely upset the Bolling applecart consultants and all.

In spite of the fact Bolling had been light governor for eight years he and Marcus somehow overlooked the importance of building an organization during his two terms. No real connection with the grassroots means no delegates at the convention. So TEA Party fave Cuccinelli walked away with the nomination.

That meant Marcus lacked a meal ticket this fall. Cuccinelli certainly wasn’t going to hire him and there were no wealthy Virginia RINOs running for other statewide offices available to aid his cash flow.

An operative with even a shred of integrity would simply sit this one out. What one doesn’t do is what Marcus did — sign on with a candidate that is the antithesis of everything for which the Virginia, and for that matter national, Republican Party stands. This is what the average American hates about politics: The mercenaries and their candidates who ‘grow’ in office and have infinitely malleable principles.

How many pro–life bills does Marcus think uber–Democrat McAuliffe is going to sign? How many taxes will McAuliffe be willing to cut? How much government intrusion into the free market is McAuliffe going to prevent? And how often will McAuliffe oppose public employee union attempts to put one over on the taxpayer? Will McAuliffe fight Obamacare and the Medicaid expansion? Will McAuliffe be a voice against pressure from the left to legalize illegals?

In a nutshell, none, none, none, never, no and no. The things McAuliffe will get “done” involve abortion, alternate lifestyles, amnesty and helping Hillary gear up for 2016.

The vast majority of Virginia Republicans really believe in the party’s platform. They don’t change their positions like Marcus changes his socks. Marcus’ politics of petulance is one of the many problems with GOP ‘leadership’ today.

I know a little about changing political parties. Up until about 2000 I was a Democrat, but as I experienced more of reality and the Democrat party decided to embrace unreality, we drifted apart. I made the change official in the 2002 election and I stopped working for Democrat candidates and limited myself to Republicans.

Switch–hitting in baseball is fine (and leftists would have you believe it makes for an exciting marriage) but in politics it only indicates opportunism and a lack of core beliefs.

It will say a great deal about Marcus if he tries to work for Republicans in the future. And it will say even more about any Republican who hires him. Conservatives beware.

Are Texans Innately Conservative? Liberal? Or Libertarian?

There is going to be a big fight in Texas.  The Battleground Texas group is trying to make inroads into the state, in hopes of turning Texas either purple or blue.

They think the best strategy is ‘get out the vote’ campaigns.  Executive Director Jenn Brown told “The Dallas Morning News” she thought Texas is a “nonvoting state,” then claimed Texas wasn’t “innately conservative.”  She attributes her belief to the low voter turnout in the 2012 election, and election results that show a mere 18-percent of the voting population voted for Governor Rick Perry in 2010.  Her comments drew an unexpected response from Texas blogger/journalist Scott Braddock who said Texas was “innately libertarian.”

He was “dead serious“, and probably right.

Texas does have a very broad belief in freedom, and also in avoiding bureaucracy and a massive welfare state.  It’s not just rhetoric by Perry or others in power across the state; Texans have enjoyed rebelling against the “establishment” and striking back at what they saw as government intrusion.

The obvious example is the 2012 U.S. Senate race.  Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst was seen as the odds-on favorite: he had the backing of the state party and pretty much everyone else in the Texas political machine.  Ted Cruz had a small coalition of people who supported him.  He was the upstart who talked up his libertarian leanings, speaking about actually obeying the U.S. Constitution, and seeking to keep the federal government out of Texans’ lives.  One of the chief reasons why “The Dallas Morning News” and “Houston Chronicle” supported Dewhurst was his coalition building.  While that is attractive in state politics, U.S. Senators are supposed to represent the interests of their states.  Cruz understood this; Dewhurst didn’t.  “The Dallas Morning News” even supported Democrat Paul Sadler over Cruz in the 2012 General Election because he’d bring money to Texas, while Cruz would only do so if it involved “roads, freeways and ports.”  You know, Constitutional reasons.

Obviously Texans rejected both Dewhurst and Sadler by sending Cruz to DC, but it shows how the state wants the federal government to leave them alone.  They’re not interested in having DC determine what Texans do.  That’s rather libertarian.

But Texans’ desire to keep the government from taking over their lives isn’t just aimed at DC.  They’ve also pushed back against attempts by the state government from doing it.

The best example may be the Trans-Texas Corridor. In short, Perry was hoping to create a “super-highway” which would span from the southern border all the way to the Red River.  Perry praised it as something which would help shippers, reduce pollution, and fix roads.  He promised the tolls would keep taxes from having to be raised and that it would “improve the interstate concept.”

Texans revolted.  They spent hours upon hours pointing out the eminent domain issues, loss of tax revenue, how the proposal was too much like California’s Route 91, and just how poorly it was designed.  The push-back was so fierce, not only did the Trans-Texas Corridor die; but Perry ended up signing stronger laws against eminent domain in 2011.

The same can be said about the current fight in the state Legislature over transportation funding.  Perry, Dewhurst and other Republicans were hoping to get a constitutional amendment passed which would have diverted oil and gas production tax money (meant for the Rainy Day Fund) for transportation, instead.  Some House and Senate members revolted against the plan over concerns as to whether there was a “floor” provision in the bill.  That would have meant if the Rainy Day Fund reached some designated floor, 100% of oil and gas production tax money would start going into it again.  Killing the bill was probably the right move because it’s a bad bill and, as with most taxes, the money runs out at some point.

There’s more to be said about Texas’ libertarian streak. “Texas Monthy’s” Erica Grieder even wrote a book pointing out how low taxes and low services helped Texas.  In a column to “The Dallas Morning News” she wrote, “Texans don’t expect that much from the state,” and she’s absolutely right.  Many people who grew up in Texas don’t expect that.  The help ends up coming from either cities or the community in a crisis.  There are parts of Texas which are struggling, like the Rio Grande Valley, but there are charities and non-profits trying to help where they can.

Battleground Texas wants to change that by getting more Democrats elected and changing how the state operates.  They want Texas to be the next Colorado, which would be horrific.

The good news is, it’s a fight which opposition groups aren’t taking lying down.  FreedomWorks plans on $8-million in spending to fight Battleground Texas, and state Attorney General Greg Abbott calls the group “far more dangerous” than North Korea.  U.S. Senator John Cornyn’s campaign manager also said Battleground Texas is a “real threat in the years to come.”

Hopefully other freedom-loving groups, and the Texas Republican Party, will actually pay attention.

 

Greg Abbott and the Art of the Twitter Townhall

 

abbottTwitter is probably one of the best ways to make connections with people across the globe, but it’s hard to have a serious political conversation at 140 characters. Despite this limitation, politicians are using a Twitter Town Hall as a way to get their message across and interact with voters. It’s not a bad strategy, but depends on how it’s used and what questions get answered.

For most politicians it’s easier to answer questions from supporters. For one, it helps them expound on their agenda. It also allows them to see positive messages they can play off of. Best examples are probably President Obama’s #my2k town hall in 2012 and Virginia Senator Tim Kaine’s #AskTim town hall on July 16th and 17th. Simple questions, simple answers. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s #Randchat town hall with Reason had more positive questions than negative. But some of Paul’s answers were against the standard Republican answer and helped establish his libertarianism even more. Plus Paul actually talked policy, which not everyone is willing to do.

One of the more entertaining town halls was one given by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. Abbott is running for governor and used the #AskAbbott event to differentiate himself from Governor Rick Perry, especially on how contracts get handed out. He did a good job, but the best part was probably his willingness to take questions from Democrats, when they crashed the party. It’s not something politicians normally do, probably because they know the opposition isn’t going to be happy, regardless of the answers.

But Abbott was willing to play along, especially when Battleground Texas, an organization run by former Obama campaign members, stepped in. They first asked Abbott if he could speak Spanish, which didn’t get an answer. They decided to ask another one which, this time, Abbott answered.


Quick translation: Battleground Texas asked if Abbott could talk to the Latin community. Abbott said, in Spanish, his wife is Latina and he will be able to communicate to all voters. It’s a great response and pretty much shut Battleground Texas up for the night. But it shows how politicians on Twitter can respond without it disintegrating into a shouting match. It also shows a willingness to engage with people who don’t agree. Some questions aren’t worth answering because they’re either too snarky, too stupid or require an answer that’s far too nuanced for 140 characters. The nuanced answers are best for a one-on-one conversation or a column or a radio interview. But that’s Twitter.

There’s a big difference between what Abbott did and what politicians normally do. He talked to opponents without beating them over the head. Not everyone was happy, but that’s politics. It certainly beats the same ol’ questions and the same ol’ answers. If anyone still cares about that.

Darrell Issa Takes Jabs At Elijah Cummings At Irs Hearing 7/18/2013

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) were sparring a bit in the IRS hearings today. While that in itself isn’t unexpected, the terms used were at least a little amusing.

Even more amusing was the report from MSNBC on the incident:

At the beginning of the hearing, Cummings called Issa’s remarks “unsubstantiated nonsense,” adding the Republican rushed to his previous conclusions “with no evidence whatsoever.”
A bit later, Issa skewered the Maryland Dem, arguing he never said it came from the White House, only from Washington, D.C. “We now see it today leading to Washington…Although I expect the right to immediately say it leads to the White House, I’m always shocked when the ranking member seems to want to say, like a little boy whose hand has been caught in a cookie jar, ‘What hand? What cookie?’ I’ve never said it leads to the White House.”

The argument at hand was about reports that surfaced the night before the hearing that initially stated that the investigation into discrimination by the IRS against conservative organizations seeking non-profit status had lead to DC. Later, “DC” was reported as “The White House”, however exactly how that happen isn’t exactly clear. Either way, Issa wasn’t going to stand for having Cummings make accusations that he was the source of those statements. As for the “hands in the cookie jar” comment, that was presumably referring to Cummings’ attempt to deflect blame for the apparently unethical actions of the IRS workers in charge of handling non-profit applications. Regardless, Issa did apologize for his comment later, stating that is was turn of phrase from his childhood, nothing more.

True Crime: IRS Targeted My Family For Over 4 Months Due To Tea Party Ties

22_Secret-Behind-IRS-300x231I suffer in silence.  Its not a virtue, its not heroic.  Maybe it comes from years of Trauma Nursing at USC Medical Center, where stabbings and gunshots are known as a “regular Friday night”.  Maybe, (and yes I’m going to bare my soul here) maybe,  its from one Friday night in May 1995.  It was my husband, Deputy Stephen Blair, who sustained gunshots, which claimed his life.  His life, given in service to Los Angeles County, given, as he believed, ultimately for a Country where freedom and justice reigned.  I remember my thoughts that night.   Although he was not in the Military, he patrolled South Central LA, its own war zone.  I thought, he died knowing his sacrifice meant something.  That our sons would know it meant something.  That our great Nation’s way of life at times extacts that price.

After Obama was elected, and that other day of doom,  the day the National Health Care bill passed, I felt called to act.  Up until that point, I devoted my life to raising my 3 sons, I remarried (a Police Detective), and was in no way “political”.   I realized what the “Healthcare” nightmare would mean, and I joined a local Tea Party.  I became extremely active, setting up the websites, funding much of the expenses, and was listed as the “Public Relations/ Internet Coordinator.

I started writing articles that were picked up by some well known Conservative websites– a scathing expose on Loretta Sanchez, and a follow-up on my experiences as a Co-Manager for Star Parker’s 2010 bid for Congress– which made it onto HotAir. My articles started to circulate, as I found my voice, always fact based, but with just a tad hint of sarcasm & tomfoolery….something different.  I’d like to thank Anita MonCrief for giving me start on her website Emerging Corruption.  (I am relating all this history as it may shed light on what is to follow.)

In 2010, I started my Blog Talk Radio show, which grew into a “Radio Network” called “Fidelis Radio Network”.  Blessed with a few other Conservative voices, Fidelis averaged over 200,000 listens a month.  Fidelis also had Catholic programming.  As of December 2012, we aired 3 “Conservative Politics” talk shows and 3 “Conservative” Catholic talk shows.  As we grew we attracted some “big named” interviews.  We had plans to expand in 2013.

What a recipe for “disaster”—-Tea Party type folks and Catholics, exactly the mix the Obama Administration “loves” the most.  Those darn Catholics and their non-compliance with providing abortions and birth control.  And those backwater Tea Party hicks, always ranting about their “free speech” while carrying AK47’s around.

Sometime at the end of January, or beginning of February, a funny thing happened.

My husband’s direct deposit pay which is approximately 1600 every 2 weeks was garnished—–and I mean garnished.  Confused and alarmed, his Human Resources Department said it was the IRS.  The IRS? Huh? What?

We never received any correspondence prior– as in “Hello, unless you pay we will start to garnish your wages”.     We usually get a tax return.  His pay was garnished so that we netted 365.00 every 2 weeks.

Luckily, my husband is a “Retired Detective” who receives a pension.   He took a job after retirement  for a firm which needed experienced top professionals in security— for one purpose—to ensure my sons, his step-sons, could finish College.

It had to be a mistake.  This garnishment….what else could it be?  I tried without success to reach a “live” person at the IRS.  And stupid me.  I kept thinking—watch—-his next paycheck will be “right”.  But the HR Department never received any paperwork to stop it.  I STILL thought, I KNEW, its a clerical error somewhere, and I kept calling.  One time on hold for over 3 hours.

Our lives changed drastically.  Just like Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs, my focus was food and shelter.  And getting our sons to their classes.  That was the one thing I could not, would not, allow to change.  My middle son was scheduled to graduate in May 2013, my youngest son was in his Junior year.

So, as I do in a crisis, I tried to just focus on food and shelter.  No internet, no TV, no cell phones.  Little by little all the things many of us take for granted had to go.  And then I got through.  YES, about a week before the whole IRS story “broke” a live person was on the phone with me.

After I gave our Social Security numbers, the “minion” placed me on hold to get a Supervisor.  The Supervisor was completely apologetic! (HUH? the IRS acting somewhat human?)

“OH, mam, yes we have your file here, and while you are on the phone, as we speak, I am faxing directly to your husband’s Human Resource Department to lift this….right away…hold on….its going through.  Yes, there.  Now give them a call to make sure.”

Shocked, and elated, I asked few questions.  At this point I was suffering from exhaustion, depression, shell shock.

I asked “Well, can you tell me why this “snafu” occured?” Silence for about 30 seconds.  Then “Hmmm, its odd, looks like your return was “flagged” for something….not sure why, but its fixed now and you should not expect anymore issues.”

When the IRS story broke, it still didn’t fit until I remembered in January my accountant filed Fidelis Radio as a start-up business, a Conservative Radio Network— so we could write off the expenses.

Then, something even stranger happened.  My domain name (www.fidelisradio.com) expired on April 11, 2013.  ON that same day a “Japanese Firm” bought the domain.  It makes no sense.  We are looking into who these people are and just why and how they would want that domain.  Its of no value except to me.  One would have to be tracking that domain name, c’mon, its no “nike.com”.

The IRS is stating that they “double taxed” us.  When my husband medically retired (he sustained many injuries after being hit by a truck pursuing a armed felon), we received a settlement.  Less than 50,000, this was back in 2009, and we paid the required tax. But that’s their story and they are sticking to it.

I want to apologize for just “dropping” off the face of the earth.  See, it was the only way I could cope.  Only way I could get through it.  In hindsight, I am left with the knowledge of our Country’s demise.  Like Nazi Germany in 1938, you look the other way.  You keep your mouth shut, or it will be shut for you.  We are fed pathetic excuses and unreal propaganda so we can sleep at night.  We may not have the “gold stars” on our coats, but they are there just the same.  Grassroots Conservatives are “little fish” they say.  Why would we bother with a Mom who does a Radio Show and writes a few internet articles?  Even to this writer it sounds  ludicrous.

Ludicrous, right?  That’s what the Liberals say.

We understand there is a price extacted from time to time for our freedoms.  We understand that price.  We are willing, we are able, we are ready, when fate calls our name.  It’s not our strength which carries us through this struggle—we know the strength to endure comes from God.

And that is what they fear.  Truth.  When you speak the truth, there are no “little fish”—make no mistake, the truth always comes out, and that truth will set America free.   Our battle begins, again.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

With the stroke of a pen, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin returns to Fox News as a contributor while liberal bombast Chris Matthews of MSNBC loses his weekend syndicated show in July. Does this spell the resurrection of the political street bona fides of Palin who has been a lightning rod for conservatives and the national Tea Party movement since its inception?

What seems clear is that Roger Ailes, the chairman of Fox News has reached a conclusion that the scandal beleaguered administration of President Barack Obama is fair pickings for conservatives. And what better conservative to have on your news team than Sarah Palin who has done considerable heavy lifting for the conservative movement since Obama took the oath of office as president in 2009.

This is especially critical when one considers that the upcoming mid-term elections of 2014 are rife for the political pickings in terms of governorships, the U.S. Senate and increases in the GOP House majority.

Examine the landscape of the world of politics now where the polls are pointing toward a downward slide regarding Obama’s favorability and a notable upward surge in the public’s rejection of Obama’s handling of Benghazi, the IRS attack on Tea Party organizations’ First Amendment rights and spying on journalists.

The surge in public outrage has changed dramatically since Obama’s reelection when he cobbled together a number of key state victories with Chicago style political strong arming that would make dishonored former President Richard Nixon blush. Yet, while America was having its news hijacked by a compliant mainstream media, Sarah Palin remained on the forefront using their own vehicles to communicate the cracks in Obama’s administration armor.

You remember Benghazi, the murder of four honorable Americans, including America’s Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens scandal that would not go away? The investigation by the House Republicans continued to peel back the wall of lies constructed by the White House and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice under the direction of unnamed State Department and White House officials.

Then came the tragic massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn, in December, where gun control advocates like Vice President Joe Biden and Mayor Michael Bloomberg attempted to hustle the grieving American public by misdirecting them on who and what caused the tragic deaths of innocent children and school staff. It took leading conservative Second Amendment leaders, including NRA leader Wayne LaPierre’s to reveal the truth behind the lies being perpetrated against legitimate gun owners, and Sarah Palin was right there speaking out on Second Amendment rights.

So as the months passed and the lies began to unravel in terms of Benghazi with subsequent hearings on Capitol Hill and the embarrassing loss by the administration of their own Democrat backed gun control legislation in a Democrat controlled senate, Americans were waking up to the truth about Obama tendency for deception. This was a president and his practices that Palin had already warned about as she continued her work through the grassroots towns and cities across America.

It seems a bit ironic as the former 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate returns to Fox News that the chief bottle washer for liberals Chris Matthews syndicated show goes off into the sunset it.

This appears to coincide with a reenergized Tea Patriotism that has realized vindication in claiming hundreds of Tea Party groups were systematically targeted by IRS government intimidation since 2010.

It does matter whether if a father in Colorado who is battling for gun rights through his right to free speech. It does matter if a mother like Julie Mosher Prince founder of Conservatives Warriors in Lorain County, Ohio proudly states, “Conservative isn’t just a word,” there is a refreshed conservative sea change occurring. Sarah Palin continued presence and return to Fox News represents Act II of the conservative movement America is embracing. Can this be a Reagan-like redux?

Now, it is all hands on deck. While Obama’s scandal of the week continues to erode the effectiveness of the liberals to undermine American patriots who are committed to the preservation of unalienable Constitutional rights, they will not stop attacking conservatives.

With Sarah back in the saddle at Fox News, that should be good news for patriots and Tea Party members all over the nation to take the U.S. Senate in 2014 and the presidency in 2016.

What If They Held a Primary and Nobody Came?

The Washington Post finally got its primary and in typical leftist fashion, they approved of the candidate selection method that was both inefficient and cost taxpayers the most. Earlier this year the Posties criticized Republicans for using the convention method to choose their nominees — even though Lincoln was chosen by a convention and the Constitution was written at one.

The Post complained the 8,000 delegates that attended the Richmond convention were less than one percent of registered Republicans in the Commonwealth. And in fact, the editorial page was in such a snit over the Republican’s choice of a convention the page “did not make endorsements.” (Which explains all the black armbands on the convention floor being worn by former Bolling supporters.)

But an expensive Democrat primary where less than 3 percent of the voters bothered to make it to the polls is considered a triumph of participatory democracy on the Post editorial page. So now Virginia voters face the daunting prospect of a campaign spent listening to a lily–white ticket, composed of three middle–aged males that are obsessed with women’s reproductive organs.

And that’s just the Democrats!

Republicans in their “closed convention” somehow managed to choose the only minority on either statewide ticket, while a majority of Democrat primary voters refused to select either the Indian running for lieutenant governor (the sub–continent kind, not the Lone Ranger kind) or the black running for attorney general.

And talk about your social issue fanatics! Ralph Northam, the Democrat pick for lieutenant governor, ran a commercial before the primary where all he talks about is abortion. Northam declares, “There is no reason that a group of legislators, mostly men, should be telling women what they should and shouldn’t be doing with their bodies.”

Well that’s pretty definitive. But I have to ask: Does Northam’s declaration cover prostitution? Underage sex? Incest? Female–teacher–on–underage–male sex abuse? Flashing? Where, exactly does Northam draw the line?

Northam supporters keep mentioning that “he is the only physician in the VA Senate” as if that gives him special standing. But Northam is one of those doctors who have a loose interpretation of the Hippocratic Oath: First, do no harm. In Northam’s office you have to be large enough to hand over the co–pay before you are accorded the rights of a human being.

While Republicans Ken Cuccinelli and E. W. Jackson are talking about creating jobs and growing the economy, Northam advocates de–regulating abortion clinics and fighting passage of a bill that would grant “personhood” status to an unborn baby.

Northam’s ‘an abortion in every pot’ platform is particularly relevant when one remembers that the Posties have declared war on Jackson — who happens to be of the black persuasion — for his accurate, completely true remark that Planned Parenthood has been “far more lethal to black lives” than the Ku Klux Klan.

The WaPost responds by analogizing that, “Abortion rates in the United States are higher for African Americans and Hispanics than for other groups. That reflects the fact that those groups tend to have higher rates of unwanted pregnancies. To blame the incidence of abortion on the clinics that provide abortion services is like blaming stores that sell cigarettes for the fact that too many Americans smoke.”

This analogy is only accurate if the government is buying smokes for the underage and poor, while simultaneously discouraging abstinence.

At the victory celebration, Northam came this close to talking about an issue that would attract independents and soft Republicans, before he lapsed into pube–speak, “This state, in order to have business, in order to welcome people, we need to be inclusive. That starts with stopping the attack on women, the assault on the (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) community.”

Northam’s obsession with divisive social issues, instead of pocketbook issues, means that if you’re looking for a job in an abortion mill, Northam’s your man, otherwise it’s time to start listening to the Republicans.

Mark my words, during this election the Republican ticket will be talking about jobs, taxes and transportation, while the Democrats travel the state brandishing the bloody coat hanger and accusing the GOP of concentrating on “divisive social issues.” Psychiatrists call it projection.

Meanwhile the WaPost will be doing it’s best to drive E.W. Jackson out of the race. Right now the focus is on financial problems. Jackson was behind on his taxes and has filed for bankruptcy in the past. He is now current on all his tax bills, which puts him ahead of the 1,289 Treasury Department employees who collectively owe $9.3 million in back taxes.

Jackson also regrets his bankruptcy, “It was painful. It was difficult. It was embarrassing. I don’t like the idea of not paying off debts.” Compare Jackson’s situation to that of Democrat nominee for governor, Terry McAuliffe. He convinced the taxpayers of Mississippi to give his GreenTech company $7 million in “growth and prosperity” tax exemptions and another $8 million in grants, loans and land in return for building a factory, creating jobs and manufacturing “green” cars.

According to the Wall Street Journal, “…GreenTech looks to be a lemon…there is no evidence the company is manufacturing any cars…(it) has yet to begin building its flagship factory in Tunica. GreenTech is the latest proof…the political class is adept at hooking up cronies and investors with taxpayer dollars. But creating jobs? No can do.”

Rather than be tied down by bad publicity and previous commitments, McAuliffe resigned from GreenTech and walked away from all obligations, while Jackson stayed to face his.

But Jackson’s real sin, as far as the Posties are concerned, is that he’s a Tea Party conservative. Jackson has escaped the Democrat Leftist plantation, once again pointing out the need for the Fugitive Minority Act (co–sponsored by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid) that would return ideological escapees to the Democrats for re–education and relieve the media of dealing with off–message minorities that do not support amnesty, abortion and alternate lifestyles.

Congressional duel between McDermott and Ryan

First, here is a small segment of Congressman Jim McDermott, apparently attempting to educate individuals at the IRS hearings about whether or not the government was attempting to silence conservative groups through the IRS.

Yes, you heard that right. It’s not the fault of the IRS, but the fault of the organizations for attempting to get tax-exempt status in the first place. Most importantly, McDermott does not believe that the IRS targeted the groups because of their political beliefs, in spite of previous testimony to the contrary. But, at least Congressman Paul Ryan was next in line to speak:

Yes, at the beginning of that you heard McDermott attempting to get the attention of the Chair, presumably to call a point of order to silence Ryan. But, no need to pick on that here, since the content of Ryan’s statement is oh so much better. He asked the individuals from the organizations that were targeted whether or not they believed that they were investigated by the IRS simply because they applied for non-profit status – McDermott’s contention – or because of their beliefs. Of course we all know their reply. However, Ryan was kind enough to point out that there already testimony stating that terms often used by progressive organizations were not used to weed out potential organizations for IRS investigations.

Demand Answers

For all the complaints about Mitch McConnell that have floated around over the years, one thing can be said about him now. At least he is attempting to appear like he is standing on principles, and demanding that there are real answers given on one of the scandals currently dogging the Obama Administration. Whether or not he sticks to his guns remains to be seen. At least this is a start.

What Is It About ‘Stereotype’ that the Tea Party Doesn’t Understand?

runaways-tpcToo bad Tea party types are such ingrates. Now that the mainstream media (MSM) is finally starting to cover the IRS political scandal, you’d think the Tea party would go out of its way to reward the media for emerging from its Obama–induced coma.

Consider what would have happened if there had been four deaths in connection with the IRS attacks, as happened in Benghazi. Result: It happened a long time ago and what difference does it make?

Repaying the MSM would not have been difficult. For example, at the recent Tea Party–dominated Republican convention in Virginia, conservatives could’ve done something simple like book a minstrel show for entertainment, sing ‘Dixie’ before the National Anthem or burn a cross for illumination. Stereotypes would have been confirmed and MSM self–satisfaction could continue unchallenged.

But no, out of seven candidates running for Lt. Governor the overwhelmingly white, middle–aged Tea Party Republicans had to go and pick the only black guy in the bunch! Even worse. E. W. Jackson had raised the least money of any of the candidates and instead had to base his hope for victory on an impassioned speech before the assembled delegates.

A black guy that can make a speech and impress Republicans? Who’d a thunk it?

In fact the WaPost complained, “it’s almost inconceivable that (Jackson) could have won an open party primary.” Which is true, since a primary would have been dominated by something WaPost leftists claim to hate even more than conservative blacks and that’s money in politics.

Bottom line? Media leftists prefer capitalist money influencing elections to blacks escaping the Democrat plantation. (But on the plus side, Rev. Jackson is one candidate you can legitimately ask about the content of his prayers.)

Instead Jackson, who in addition to being a minister is a graduate of Harvard Law School and a Marine veteran, won through personal contact and the force of his personality. And what a personality it is! No mottled shades of gray here.

Media leftists consider conservative minority politicians to be deeply embarrassing and something a decent person would want to keep private and within the family; like a son who wanted to marry a man. Besides being guilty of thought crimes, a black Republican that opposes the Democrat platform of amnesty, abortion and alternative lifestyle is called an Uncle Tom.

This is another example of leftist revisionism. Back when Democrats were leaning on the Supreme Court for legitimacy and dominated politics and culture while being on the wrong side of slavery; a black who supported ‘massa and claimed to be happy with his lot, was called an Uncle Tom for kneeling before power. Frederick Douglass was a hero for fighting against injustice and going against prevailing legal and cultural norms. (Dang, wasn’t Douglass a Republican, too?)

Today Democrats again lean on the Supreme Court for legitimacy, dominate politics along with culture and are on the wrong side of abortion. The legal system is cluttered with “hate crime” legislation, homosexuals qualify for special rights, Christians are to be kept in the closet and any attempt to regulate abortion is called a “war on women.” Yet a black that supports conservatives is instantly branded an Uncle Tom, when the reverse is actually true. This means Utah’s Mia Love is Fredericka Douglass on a courageous crusade for truth and Susan Rice is Aunt Jemima.

And make no mistake the WaPost is in a snit regarding Jackson. Columnist Robert McCartney did everything but call him “macca” in a column this week. McCartney says that Jackson on the ticket will reflect poorly on gubernatorial nominee Ken Cuccinelli. This is because fiery black ministers only cause problems when they are linked for a few months to a white candidate, while sitting in the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church for 20 years is just a coincidence for Barack Obama.

McCartney quotes Jackson as saying gays have “perverted” minds and are “very sick people psychologically and mentally and emotionally.” And he adds Jackson has described President Obama as “an evil presence” and liberal abortion policy as “infanticide.”

So I think VA Republicans are just going to have to resign themselves to losing Megan McCain’s vote this year.

Another red flag for McCartney came when Jackson said Planned Parenthood has been more lethal to blacks than the Ku Klux Klan. I will admit the only politician with the moral stature necessary to make modern–day slavery comparisons is Joe Biden. But that being said, Jackson does have the facts on his side — as if that makes any difference to the left.

The number of blacks killed by lynching in the US between 1864 and 1968 was 4,946. You can add to that beatings and intimidation by both the Klan and freelance bigots who didn’t want to be bogged down with a formal commitment to an organization.

Compare that with 18,778,000 black babies killed by an abortionist between only 1973 and 2013. Nathan Bedford Forest doesn’t begin to compare with your local Planned Parenthood facility manager when it comes to eliminating young blacks.

The WaPost was also appalled at VA Republicans for having a convention in the first place. In their view being committed enough to give up your Saturday and attend a largely boring convention disqualifies one for participation in the decision–making process.

The mandarins at the Post complain that the 8,000 delegates attending the Richmond convention were less than one percent of the people who claim to be Republicans in Virginia. Yet I don’t recall them complaining when only 5,556 delegates to the Democrat National Convention in 2012 approved a far left platform way out of the mainstream of American thought. (I hope the WaPost has not reverted to the practice of only counting 3/5ths of a Republican for apportionment purposes as Democrats did during slavery.)

Virginia conservatives have provided voters with a clear choice in November: A Republican ticket composed of social and government conservatives versus whatever opportunists the Democrats have handy.

The media will just have to cope with the fact that Jackson’s nomination has ruined what was to be the favorite headline this fall: VA Republicans – Whiter Than White; Righter Than Right.

The “progressive” Agenda for America

Despite voluminous amounts of saccharine coated “progressive” rhetoric to the contrary, today’s “progressives” do not care about “the little guy”, women, children, or minorities of any shape, color, creed, form or substance.

cultural maxismTheir method is to surreptitiously use cultural Marxism, critical theory and political correctness in combination with gradual inevitability to create divided, hyphenated special interest victim groups. Once those groups have been created, the next step is to inflame those groups with hate-filled red herring and straw-man hyperbole in hopes that the under-educated, under-informed and/or fully indoctrinated members of those hyphenated special interest victim groups will vote against Conservative Americans who have been targeted for character assassination.

“Targeted for character assassination?” one might ask?

Witness the multiple, repeated violations committed by the Internal Revenue Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security on behalf of the “progressive” agenda driven Barack Hussein Obama administration. All aggressively committed against Tea Party Patriot groups, religious groups, assorted members of the news media, private donors to Conservative political campaigns and others perceived by members of the White House and their political/philosophical brethren as enemies of the “progressive” agenda.

Additionally, four Americans were left to die in Benghazi because the Obama administration neglected to respond appropriately to terrorist cultural-marxism-destructionthreat warnings from their own people prior to the Commander in Chief being absent without leave during a seven hour battle. Apparently it was more important for Obama to get his beauty rest before flying the next day to a fund raising event in Las Vegas where he could once again reassure his deep pocketed “progressive” allies that the treat from Islam was finished because Seal Team 6 killed Osama bin Laden.

Never mind that Islam has been a threat to Western Civilization since the seventh century AD and continues to be a threat to every country, culture or faith that refuses to conform to their doctrine.

Not only were reprehensible actions willfully taken by Obama, as well as card carrying members of the “progressive” movement within his administration; orchestrated cover ups, stonewalling of issues, denial of facts and revolving, shifting and changing stories have been employed in continued attempts to derail ongoing investigations.

The true goal “progressives” hope to attain is their long lusted after dream of unopposed, perpetual control over the American population.

“Evidence?” one may ask?

Try Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Food Stamps and Obamacare.

ObamaMarxism-symbolIf unopposed, perpetual control over America is not the “progressive” goal, why the rush by “progressives” to grant amnesty to predominantly under-educated and under-informed illegal aliens who are thereby ideal for recruitment into a “progressive” hyphenated special interest victim group? Why are illegal aliens freely allowed access to America’s big government “progressive” “entitlement” programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Food Stamps and Obamacare, despite their unlawful status if the desired end result is not to incorporate them into the “progressive” political agenda?

Using a combination of the Fabian Socialist strategy of gradual inevitability and Frankfurt School tactics of cultural Marxism, critical theory and political correctness, today’s “progressives” softly whisper sweet little lies that sound oh so good into the ears of their low income, low information “progressive” hyphenated special interest victim group voter base, hoping they will continue to fall for sugar coated “progressive” rubbish.

All in the hopes of successfully imposing a European socio-economic class structure upon America…while casting themselves (of course) in the role of the superior upper-class ruling elite.

Can you say the Soviet Politburo?

The end results of adhering to “progressive” philosophy and employing “progressive” policies will be an end to America’s centuries old traditions of individual liberty and the right to own private property. American Citizens will experience dramatically increased costs of living, measurably lowered living standards and ultimately, national bankruptcy and an end to national sovereignty.

Instead of being the land of the free and the home of the brave, America will be at the mercy of a self-imagined, self-appointed oligarchy of Slaverysupposed intellectual superiors who achieved their position of perpetual power through the most egregious display of selfishness and ruthlessness in American history. In the name of social or economic “justice” “progressives” will dismantle the Constitution and reverse the gains made by individuals and society that came about as a result of the American Revolution.

History will show that once they persuaded enough unsuspecting Americans to trust them, progressives” seized private assets and outlawed private property. It will be because when “progressives” looked into network television cameras and lied about having the best interests of America at heart, too many Americans bought it. It will be because when “progressives” took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, swearing on the Bible and imploring “So help me, God,” too many Americans believed they actually meant it.

Future generations reading the story of American history will be left to ponder: How could Americans have been so wrong, so mistaken and made such poor choices? Why would America abandon a highly successful blueprint for society, economy and governance after centuries of their own history demonstrated the success of that structure? How could Americans have been so stupid as to believe that the model and methods responsible for their success had suddenly become what was wrong with America?

It has taken a century for the “progressive” use of Fabian strategy and Frankfurt tactics to bring America to this point; a tipping point.

The damage will not be repaired overnight. It will take longer than one, two or three election cycles to return America to its original, correct course. Americans demanding immediate gratification will long suffer unbearable periods of dissatisfaction.

Is that insidious “progressive” smile one of approval for the acts of God fearing, freedom loving Americans? Do not be deceived, it is a trap. Do not be betrayed by their words. Instead, ask how their glorious words agree with acts committed by the Internal Revenue Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security. Are such actions necessary in a land where government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed? Do not be fooled. These are acts which will lead to subjugation and slavery. These are the acts to which tyrants resort. Why were these actions taken, if not to force Americans into submission? Can intellectually honest people assign any other possible motives to them?

If Americans hope to save themselves from the chains of “progressivism,” they must be willing to fight. Will they live in liberty, or will America die?
