Under Obama, P.O.T.U.S. Takes On A Whole New Meaning

Under Obama’s presidency P.O.T.U.S. has come to mean “Piss on the United States”.  From the very beginning of his administration he has complained about the actions of the United States and how defective the constitution is in it’s limitation of governmental intrusion in its citizens’ lives.  He has befriended and empowered foreign dictators and excluded and insulted America’s allies.

Under the anti-American presidency of Obama our nation has cast aside the rule of law and the idea of a limited government operating under the umbrella of the constitution.  He has systematically undermined our military and our ability to defend ourselves.  He has ignored laws intended to keep illegal aliens out and has established programs to encourage illegals to come here and receive welfare as soon as they arrive.  He has pretended outrage at the exposure of scandals (like the IRS abuses) but lets the idea of punishing those who abuse the law and mistreat their fellow Americans evaporate as soon as the press looks away, and they always accommodate him by doing just that.  He has greatly increased joblessness and negatively impacted healthcare in America with the implementation of Obamacare, and this legislation also has caused a direct negative impact on the introduction and development of life-saving new products and drugs, while providing a big windfall profit to big pharma, which backed Obamacare and is Obama’s big pal.

Obama’s EPA has been hard at work presenting new regulations that will kill thousands of more jobs and make life for all Americans less comfortable and more expensive.  The new EPA administrator has promised to assure less fuel for our cars and more expensive coal-generated power to our homes and businesses via a push for regulations on “global warming” or “climate change”, or some other phrase these lying fools utilize to scare us into living poorer lives and allowing them to take over more control of our everyday living.

And while our beloved president is out playing golf, or vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, our foreign diplomats and being killed in Libya, and our Secretary of State is threatening red-line punishment with immediate and severe attacks on Syria, and then limited short attacks, then seeking congressional backing to attack, then halting any congressional vote on the issue, and then allowing one of the most evil powers in the world, Russia, to resolve the situation that Obama started by shooting off his lying mouth, thereby further humiliating America.  And in the meantime, Iran remains one of the most dangerous nations in the world with its development of nuclear weapons, and a big ally of Syria, and nothing is done to stop Iran’s threat of nuclear proliferation, which could have been nipped in the bud if Obama had given some assistance to Iran’s citizens’ green movement when they rejected the evil their government was performing, but of course, Obama will do nothing to halt Islamic extremists, so now a new threat to Democracy and peace is well on its way to completion, and Obama pisses once more on America and its citizens.

Gun Camera Footage from Syria Airstrikes

The Pentagon released gun camera footage from successful attacks on ISIS and Khorasan targets inside of Syria.

The first is a training barracks/residential area where fighters-in-training would be housed:

Here’s the complete video of the released airstrikes. Wade through the President’s political spin and catch several successful strikes by our brave military members.

What is Khorasan

It appears that U.S. officials are taking a new terror group more seriously as a U.S.-led set of airstrikes hit ISIS and Khorasan Group targets in Syria this morning.

Khorasan is a jihadist group born of Al Queda leadership that has a similar, yet competing goal, as ISIS. The Khorasan Group desires the recreation of the ancient Persian province that once held the same name while ISIS is attempting to create a global Islamic state or Caliphate starting with the overthrow of Syria’s Asad and the government in Iraq.

Al-Fadhli

Al-Fadhli

Khorasan is headed by Muhsin al-Fadhli, who was the leader of Al Queda in Iran while it’s former head was detained by Iranian authorities.

Al-Fadhli moved to Syria after a re-shuffling of Al-Queda leadership where he has pulled together a group of Al-Queda members from across the globe – including Europe and the United States.

He was later joined by a group of Al Queda members including  logistics expert Abd Al-Rahman Muhammad al Juhni. Al Juhni was a senior member of Al Queda in Pakistan and specialized in running the courier network and moving money around.

Fadhli seems disinterested in the outcome of the Syrian conflict and may only be based there to hide under the confusion of the Syrian civil war while he completes the planning phase for Khorasan – a phase intelligence experts say is very near completion.

The Khorasan plans are reported to be focused on attacks on U.S. and European soil. These attacks would most-likely be carried out by home grown terrorists recruited by Khorasan’s significant and effective social media efforts.

U.S. officials pointed at an imminent threat of terrorist attacks on the United States as partial justification for the airstrikes on Syria that began this morning. Whether Al Fadhli and his Khorasan Group associates have been nuetralized by today’s strikes is currently unknown.

Airstrikes Begin in Syria

Map of airsrtikes in SyriaThe first wave of United States attacks against ISIS and The Khorasan Group in Syria began early Tuesday morning.

The airstrikes hit 14 ISIS and Khorasan targets in Syria including command and control centers, supply caches and training facilities.

Aircraft from five Arab nations reportedly assisted with the strikes, but no European allies were involved.

The air assault began with cruise missiles, bombers, predator/reaper UAVs and fighter aircraft targeting the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, Syria early on Tuesday.

U.S. officials said planes from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar were also involved in the mission.

President Obama’s Broad Coalition of One

B.O.

With great fanfare and a nationwide, prime time presidential address to the American people, President Obama announced the formation of a “broad coalition” that would wage war together to destroy the Islamic State also known as ISIS or ISIL. Although few other details were given about the coalition, a senior administration official said on Wednesday “we are very confident that this will be a broad-based coalition with countries from the Arab world, from Europe, but also other key allies around the globe, like, for instance, Australia, which has joined us in humanitarian airdrops already in Iraq; or Canada, which has already put advisers on the ground.”

From President Obama’s “ISIL isn’t Islamic” speech:

First, we will conduct a systematic campaign of airstrikes against these terrorists. Working with the Iraqi government, we will expand our efforts beyond protecting our own people and humanitarian missions, so that we’re hitting ISIL targets as Iraqi forces go on offense. Moreover, I have made it clear that we will hunt down terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are. That means I will not hesitate to take action against ISIL in Syria, as well as Iraq. This is a core principle of my presidency: if you threaten America, you will find no safe haven. …

This is our strategy. And in each of these four parts of our strategy, America will be joined by a broad coalition of partners. Already, allies are flying planes with us over Iraq; sending arms and assistance to Iraqi Security Forces and the Syrian opposition; sharing intelligence; and providing billions of dollars in humanitarian aid. Secretary Kerry was in Iraq today meeting with the new government and supporting their efforts to promote unity, and in the coming days he will travel across the Middle East and Europe to enlist more partners in this fight, especially Arab nations who can help mobilize Sunni communities in Iraq and Syria to drive these terrorists from their lands. This is American leadership at its best: we stand with people who fight for their own freedom

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel outlined some more of the possible participants. He suggested that a “core coalition” would include the United States, Britain, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Poland and Denmark. The 10 Arab “frenemy” states that committed on Thursday to the fight against ISIS included the six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC): Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The new coalition also includes Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq. At the time of the publication of this article some 40 nations had supposedly joined this “broad coalition” to defeat ISIS. But does that mean anything other than the provision of some thin cover for a nation still perceived as Christian raining down death and destruction (complete with inevitable civilian casualties) on what are in fact, despite Obama’s protestations, Muslims?

But tough talk is often very cheap. It’s only been a few days and Obama’s “very significant counterterrorism operation” is already a disaster and falling apart before it ever got started.

In less than a day after Obama’s speech, both the UK and Germany (despite their earlier saber-rattling and tough guy talk) announced they have no interest in actually actively participating in any Obama led coalition to go after ISIS’ main bases of power in Syria. France has announced that they will not participate in any land or air actions at all. NATO member Turkey abstained from even pretending to join the anti-ISIS coalition and will not let the US use their airbases to attack ISIS targets in Syria. And now the Saudi’s probably won’t either.

What Obama will get from the Arab League and the others will be some supportive talk, perhaps a trickle of funds and arms to the locals, and that’s about it. When Bush invaded Iraq three other nations provided troops for the invasion and 37 other nations of the “Coalition of the Willing” provided ground troops for occupation and nation building attempts afterwards. In stark contrast to that, Obama’s “Broad Coalition” in the end will basically be a “Coalition of One” with a few local forces thrown into the mix. All led by a Commander-in-Chief who doesn’t want to fight, doesn’t want to be there, and known for walking away from ‘red lines.’ One can already sense this may not go well. Chances are he’ll screw around with this for a couple more years without really accomplishing too much and then hand it over to his successor to deal with. We’ll see and time will tell. I hope he proves me wrong.

What does this quick collapse of his coalition say about Obama’s strategic preparation? Did he even bother to check in with the Brits, French, and the Germans before pledging his “broad coalition of partners.” Apparently not. It would  instead appear that The One simply assumed our European allies would quickly just fall in line with his newly proclaimed war on terror.

And what tactics does the President envision utilizing against The Islamic State? From the Washington Post:
[Campaigns in Somalia and Yemen]  have dragged on for years and involve far smaller and less-well-financed adversaries than the Islamic State. Although Obama promised a “steady, relentless effort” in a nationally televised address Wednesday night, he also said that “it will take time to eradicate a cancer like ISIL,” using a common acronym for the Islamic State.
Such a mission was not the U.S. military’s preferred option. Responding to a White House request for options to confront the Islamic State, Gen. Lloyd Austin, the top commander of U.S. forces in the Middle East, said that his best military advice was to send a modest contingent of American troops, principally Special Operations forces, to advise and assist Iraqi army units in fighting the militants, according to two U.S. military officials. The recommendation, conveyed to the White House by Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was cast aside in favor of options that did not involve U.S. ground forces in a front-line role, a step adamantly opposed by the White House. Instead, Obama had decided to send an additional 475 U.S. troops to assist Iraqi and ethnic Kurdish forces with training, intelligence and equipment.
Recommitting ground combat forces to Iraq would have been highly controversial, and most likely would have been opposed by a substantial majority of Americans. But Austin’s predecessor, retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, said the decision not to send ground troops poses serious risks to the mission.

So, in effect, President Obama has rejected the “Afghan model” that was used to successfully drive the Taliban from power in 100 days. It consisted of front line Special forces  and CIA paramilitaries calling in pinpoint US airstrikes on targets as they moved and worked in tandem with local opposition forces to defeat the enemy. It’s a devastating strategy that’s proven to be extremely effective in the past. What a shame. It’s how we really should wage war from now on.  On top of that, an unnamed U.S. general also told WaPo the other day that defeating ISIS would be much harder than anything we’ve done in Afghanistan or Iraq. Great, just great.

If President Obama quickly waffles, loses interest, and walks away from this tough talking but shallow commitment as well, we can then rename it the “Broad Coalition of None.”

Americans Think Hurricane Katrina Worse Crisis Than Syria

Americans think Hurricane Katrina, Indian Ocean Tsunami and Haiti earthquake affected more people than the conflict in Syria
More than one-fifth of Americans are not at all familiar with the Syria conflict
Of those familiar with the conflict, three-fourths think U.S. should help people affected in some way

SEATTLE, March 12, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ — Almost three years into the conflict in Syria, many Americans do not know the full scale of the crisis, according to a new poll conducted online by Harris Poll on behalf of World Vision among more than 2,000 U.S. adults. The poll found that when presented with a list of prominent humanitarian crises, more Americans select Hurricane Katrina (16%) as having affected the greatest number of people than select the conflict in Syria (10%). So far the conflict in Syria has impacted an estimated 9.3 million people — more than Hurricane Katrina, the earthquake in Haiti and the Indian Ocean Tsunami and nearly as many as the three crises combined.

The study also found one in five Americans (21%) admit to being not at all familiar with the conflict. Those who are familiar are overwhelmingly likely to say the United States should do something to help, either through increased humanitarian aid, increased diplomatic pressure or other measures (76%, vs. 24% who say the U.S. should not help in any way).

As the three-year anniversary of the conflict in Syria approaches this weekend, more than 100,000 people have died and an estimated 9 million people have been forced from their homes — either within Syria or in neighboring countries such as Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.

A total of 9.3 million Syrians are currently in need of humanitarian aid, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. More than half of those impacted are children.

“Each day, millions of children are caught in the middle of the Syrian crisis, struggling for the basics of survival like food, somewhere to live and a safe place to call home. They face the threat of bombs, gunfire, early marriage, and being forced to work to provide for their families,” said Conny Lenneberg, World Vision’s Regional Leader for Middle East and Eastern Europe. “Yet many of us turn away, sometimes purposely turning a blind eye to all that is happening. Although it’s painful to see the reality, it’s vital that we do so. An entire generation is depending on us.”

Other findings from the poll include:

  • Of those familiar with the conflict, nearly half (47%) think the U.S. should increase humanitarian aid.
  • Of those familiar with the conflict, there are no significant differences between those with different education levels or household incomes who agree the U.S. should help those affected by the conflict.
  • Adults age 18-34 are significantly less likely to be familiar with the conflict than those age 35 or older (29% saying they are ‘not at all familiar’ vs. 18% of those age 35+ who said the same).
  • When it comes to why money may be hard to raise for humanitarian aid in response to the conflict in Syria, more than half of Americans (53%) think it’s because money should go towards addressing problems in the U.S.

The poll comes as World Vision is releasing a new report completely written and researched by refugee children of the Syrian crisis, titled “Our Uncertain Future.” In the report, children found that 86 percent of their peers have been exposed to violence. Several questioned why the world is not paying attention:

“If I had the opportunity to address people in power around the world, I would say: ‘Haven’t you had enough of the destruction in Syria? Haven’t you seen enough blood in Syria? Haven’t you seen enough deaths in Syria? What else do you still need, to save us and bring us back to our country? If I had a magic wand, I would erase all the destruction that happened in Syria or in any other country and draw instead the best and most beautiful thing for everyone,” said Hanadi, 17, a Syrian refugee.

World Vision has been responding to the crisis by helping people in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan, supporting more than 300,000 with water, sanitation services, household supplies and healthcare, with a focus on the protection and well-being of children.

Syrian Propaganda Exposed, Angering Photographer

Have you seen this photograph of a young Syrian child sleeping between his parents graves? It is sad, no matter who the child is or what country he is from.

ff10d66be9276d0625d1f4ab0385e8de

But what if the photograph is not real?

As it turns out… it is nothing but Propaganda, staged to undoubtedly pull at your heartstrings! This photograph was taken just moments before the one posted above:

8aca6c357e0384b754ea884041646b68

Needless to say, the Saudi photographer who took the photographs is “ticked off” that his “artwork” has been exposed, claiming it’s just “not fair” and is being “taken out of context”!

The bottom line: You should be skeptical of much of the news coming out of Syria. Both Assad and the rebels have elaborate propaganda operations, though the state’s far outstrips the opposition operations. Both sides have a vested interest in tricking you into believing their version of events.

The utter failure of Obama’s “reset” policy

putin_210

Russia’s decisions to grant asylum to Edward Snowden and to send warships to the coast of Syria to protect that country’s regime from the United States are just the latest hostile steps taken by Russia against the US, in a long line of hostile actions take against the US under Vladimir Putin’s rule.

But these two events are notable in and of themselves, because they are the final nails in the coffin of the Obama Administration’s utterly failed “reset” (read: appeasement) policy towards Russia.

Despite, or perhaps because of, this utterly failed and shameful policy, Russia is even more hostile and virulently anti-American than it was in January 2009.

This is not surprising to anyone who actually knows foreign policy well – unlike the self-appointed “experts” populating the Council on Foreign Relations, the Obama administration, RINO Republicans like Henry Kissinger and Colin Powell, and most Washington (and European) think-tanks, who to this very day delude themselves that the “reset” has been a success and that Russia is a partner rather than a foe. (Obama himself falsely claimed in September, AFTER the Snowden affair and Assad’s chemical weapons attack on Syria, that “we succeeded” and that the “reset” allegedly produced “a whole host” of outcomes beneficial to the US.)

Nor is it any surprise to Mitt Romney, who, last year, correctly called Russia “America’s #1 geopolitical foe”, although China seems to compete hard for that coveted title. Mitt Romney was absolutely right, and Obama absolutely wrong, all along.

Already during the Bush years, I was warning that the Bush administration, where Condoleezza Rice (a RINO of the same mold as Colin Powell who, just like Powell, voted for Obama) called the shots on foreign policy, was engaged in craven appeasement of Putin’s Russia – a policy that even Zbigniew Brzezinski, Jimmy Carter’s nat-sec advisor, condemned as shameful and Chamberlain-like.

President Bush unilaterally cut America’s nuclear deterrent, scrapped the USAF’s most modern and capable ICBMs (MX Peacekeeper missiles), and retired the USAF’s most capable cruise missiles, the AGM-129s. Moreover, he cravenly sought Vladimir Putin’s permission to deploy a meager 10 interceptors in Central Europe to protect the US from Iran.

Barack Obama and his administration elevated appeasement to an art, calling it “reset” and starting a long, one-way street of concessions to Russia in the vain hope the Kremlin would reciprocate.

Since 2009, the US has agreed (under New START) to cut its own nuclear deterrent by 33% while allowing Russia to grow its own; to intrusive inspections of its missile defense facilities; to allow Russia to join the WTO; to make no more than symbolic complaints about Russia’s massive human rights violations; and to cancel plans to deploy missile defense systems in Poland and the Czech Republic. Obama has also made massive cuts in missile defense spending and programs, killing those programs that would’ve provided the most effective defense (MKV, KEI, ABL, SM-3 4th stage). In 2012, he even promised the Russians “more flexibility” on missile defense and nuclear weapons after his reelection.

And yet, Russia has not become even one iota more cooperative or less hostile since 2009.

While Russia has provided some meager assistance to the US in Afghanistan – renting aircraft and opening its supply lines to that country – it had already been cooperating on that front since 2001. Obama and his utterly failed “reset” policy had nothing to do with this. Russia is cooperating on Afghanistan out of its own national interest – NOT because of any desire to collaborate with the US on anything. Terrorists based in Afghanistan pose a much greater danger to Russia than the US.

Russia, in any case, is not much help there – renting its aircraft is far more expensive than operating the USAF’s own, and delivering supplies through Russia is several times more expensive than through Pakistan.

So Russia’s “help” on Afghanistan is utterly useless. The US could’ve procured a number of additional American-made C-17 aircraft (and thus also create some US jobs) instead of renting those grotesquely-expensive Russian planes.

On nothing else has Russia been cooperative.

It has not cancelled the sale of S-300 air defense systems as is often erroneously claimed – it has decided to sell a different (but equally capable) S-300VM instead of the S-300PMU. Moreover, it now plans to sell it to Syria as well.

It supplies America’s enemies – Iran, Syria, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, and even Hezbollah – with diplomatic protection and (excepting NK and Cuba) with weapons. Russia’s deputy foreign minister has even said this about Hezbollah:

“We cooperate with Hezb’allah and respect the Lebanese people’s will… this party, which has proven its credibility [over the course of time], must [have its opinions] respected.”

Russia has built nuclear reactors in Iran, has supplied tons of nuclear fuel to that country, and continues to supply it with that, as well as weapons and diplomatic protection. If Iran ever acquires a nuclear weapon, let alone uses it against anyone, Russia will be directly responsible.

Russia had the Boston bombers (the Tsarnayev brothers) wiretapped for months before the Boston bomb attack, and withheld critical information from US intel and law enforcement – information that could’ve prevented the terrorist attack. In other words, it willfully allowed the terrorist attacks to succeed. (But that doesn’t stop Putin from deceitfully posing as a friend of the US, and many Americans, including many Republicans like Dana Rohrabacher and Pat Buchanan, from being utterly duped by Putin.)

Moscow also continues to widely disseminate anti-American propaganda – at home and in the US itself – through state-owned radio and TV channels such as “Russia Today”/RT, which broadcasts in the US and on the Internet, is wholly owned and operated by the Kremlin, employs Russian propagandists and some useful American idiots, and spreads vociferous anti-American propaganda. (And because of births of a feather tend to flock together, Ron Paul fans like Julie Borowski love to appear on that channel.)

RussiaToday is, BTW, operating ILLEGALLY in the US, in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires all those who perform PR work for a foreign actor, and all media outlets which perform such work or present a foreign actor’s viewpoint or propaganda, to register at the DOJ as foreign agents, constantly notify the DOJ of their financial operations, and, in case of TV channels, permanently display a “Acts on behalf of a foreign actor” strip on the TV screen.

RT has not satisfied any of these legal requirements, meaning that it is operating illegally in the US and is thus a criminal organization.

And, as a part of their craven appeasement policies, the Bush and Obama administrations have tolerated this.

You can see what persons and entities have registered in the US on behalf of any country here. Pick “Russia” from the list and see for yourself – the RussiaToday channel has NOT registered as with the DOJ as an agent of the Russian government.

Russia has been busy for the last several years building an increasingly capable missile defense system – while demanding that the US stop developing and upgrading its own and foreswear deploying it abroad.

Moscow has, simoultaneously, been pursuing an offensive arms race against the US – extending the service lifetimes of its current weapons while ordering large numbers of new ones. On order are, inter alia, 400 new ICBMs, hundreds of SLBMs, 8 ballistic missile subs, hundreds of 5th generation stealthy PAKFA fighters, and new tanks. Russia is also building new Tu-160 from stockpiled components and developing a new, stealthy bomber – the PAK DA. Russia’s navy is building new, more capable classes of ships as well, and one Akula class submarine spied on the USN’s submarine base at Kings Bay (GA) last year.

In the last year, Russia’s provocative and hostile actions have only worsened, as it has begun flying  nuclear-armed bombers (and their escort fighters) very near US airspace and twice INTO Japanese airspace, as well as into Swedish airspace once. This included simulated strikes on US missile defense sites in Alaska, California, and Japan, on Japanese bases, on US bases in Guam (a strategically important island in the Western Pacific), and Sweden’s military bases.

What’s worse, Russia’s aggressive, simulated attacks have found Sweden completely unprepared to defend itself, due to its shortage of fighters and pilots.

When asked by reporters what they were doing flying close to Alaska, the Russians said they were “practicing attacking the enemy.”

This is what they consider the US to be: “the enemy.” Those are their words, not mine.

In September, the civilized world observed the 30th anniversary of the Soviet massacre of KAL007, a civilian airliner that erroneously ventured into Soviet airspace and was shot down. The commander of the base from which the Su-15 interceptors executing the shootdown originated was one Anatoliy Kornukov – later Commander of the Russian AF under Yeltsin and Putin, photographed happily sharing drinks with the later.

This criminal is one of Putin’s drinking friends.

But I’m not surprised. Once a KGB thug, always a KGB thug. Putin has spent his entire adult life learning to hate and to destroy, then trying to destroy, the Western civilization, including the US. He’ll never change, just like an Islamic terrorist will never forego jihad. What I am surprised by is that so many Americans were so foolish that they reelected Barack Obama, the author of the “reset” appeasement policy, last year – over the realist, tough, no-nonsense Gov. Mitt Romney. November 6th, 2012, will likely be the most shameful date in American history for perpetuity.

New York Times Finally Has Authentic Communist Columnist to Make Alger Hiss Would Red With Envy: Vladimir Putin!

Putin KGB officer

The New York Times finally has an authentic Soviet communist writing its progressive op-eds: Former KGB Assassin now thug Russian President Vladimir Putin.

And he rides in shirtless, his naked chest covered in gold chains and in bad need of a woman’s 18 Hour bra, atop a horse!

shirtless putin

Ah yes, it creates a whole new mean to the question: “Where’s the beef?”

putin

Alger Hiss would be red with envy!

This KGB assassin who views himself as Russia’s sexy killer beefcake is now an official featured op-ed contributor for the New York Times! And he has a column in the September 12th issue op-ed section titled “A Plea For Caution: What Putin Has To Say to Americans About Syria,” explaining his relationship with Obama. Don’t worry darling leftists; Vlad let us Americans know his “relationship” with Marxist pal Obama is

marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional.” It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation.

Good heavens, I hope American exceptionalism his considered treacherous to a dodgy murderous thug like Putin! We should want that S.O.B. afraid of America, not laughing at America because we have a mommy-pants-wearing Marxist president who handed the keys of free world leadership over to Putin on a Chinese-made silver-plated platter as he addressed the nation concerning Syria and Putin taking control of chemical weapons negotiations.

What could Putin tell Americans about Syria that we haven’t already figured out: Russia uses its veto power to protect Bashir Assad, Russia and Iran enable and aid Syria, Russia is in league with Iran and Syria and Russia is intent on becoming the world’s supper power and head of the free world.Yes, there’s much to trust there!

Look how Russia is now calling the shots– through the New York Times:

The United Nations’ founders understood that decisions affecting war and peace should happen only by consensus, and with America’s consent the veto by Security Council permanent members was enshrined in the United Nations Charter. The profound wisdom of this has underpinned the stability of international relations for decades. No one wants the United Nations to suffer the fate of the League of Nations, which collapsed because it lacked real leverage. This is possible if influential countries bypass the United Nations and take military action without Security Council authorization.

The UN falling by the wayside because an incompetent Marxist can’t swing anything but a golf club? Oh my, we don’t want the fate of the world suffering at the hands of a community organizer who’s only capable of organizing his golf swing. The profound wisdom of Putin can lead us as the “underpinning” for the weakened and unstable leadership of Obama.

The New York Times has found its Joseph Stalin!

putin assassin

The op-ed killer warns us further:

The potential strike by the United States against Syria, despite strong opposition from many countries and major political and religious leaders, including the pope, will result in more innocent victims and escalation, potentially spreading the conflict far beyond Syria’s borders. A strike would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism. It could undermine multilateral efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and further destabilize the Middle East and North Africa. It could throw the entire system of international law and order out of balance… Mercenaries from Arab countries fighting there, and hundreds of militants from Western countries and even Russia, are an issue of our deep concern. Might they not return to our countries with experience acquired in Syria? After all, after fighting in Libya, extremists moved on to Mali. This threatens us all.

Talk about clever. The devout Soviet officer taking the side of life and peace! A professional assassin talking about protecting the world from mercenaries: What does that tell you all?

Does Putin really want peace or is he in this for what he can gain? If you have to think twice about that answer, you might be an Obama voter.

The Russian assassin is warning America—via the Times— that Obama’s foreign policy will destabilize the world. As if we don’t know that already. But hey, Gulags never complicated anything!

The fact is Putin wants control of world and the United States: That way Putin, who never leaves office, has control of oil and world currency with his Muslim and Chinese friends on his side. And the backing of the New York Times of course!

Putin gave the anti-war crowd what they want: He criticized Obama’s Afghanistan policies: The war has been escalated, not ended, and more have been killed when Obama promised peace and hope.

Even Hitler would be in awe of this con job comment:

From the outset, Russia has advocated peaceful dialogue enabling Syrians to develop a compromise plan for their own future. We are not protecting the Syrian government, but international law. We need to use the United Nations Security Council and believe that preserving law and order in today’s complex and turbulent world is one of the few ways to keep international relations from sliding into chaos. The law is still the law, and we must follow it whether we like it or not. Under current international law, force is permitted only in self-defense or by the decision of the Security Council. Anything else is unacceptable under the United Nations Charter and would constitute an act of aggression.

Russia, the land of torture-by-starvation, an advocate for peace? Russia, the home of bullets-to-the-head and poison soup, speaking out against aggression? Russia invented the Gulag for heaven’s sake! Russian leaders are as peaceful as a Roman Senate playing with knives in the month of March.

Putin will protect us as: “Reports that militants are preparing another attack — this time against Israel — cannot be ignored,” and “We must stop using the language of force and return to the path of civilized diplomatic and political settlement.”

Since when does a Russian dictator care about attacks on Israel? Russia executed Jews in mass numbers during its Gulag years and ignores its starving Russian Jewish population left to die.

Since when does Putin not use the “language of force?” This guy is all about forcing civilization to his political will.

The New York Times must be on cloud nine. They finally have a writer who took five minutes of attention away from Rush Limbaugh! Five minutes is better than nothing when you are the New York Times and nobody except Chris Matthews and his six viewers care what you print.

Obama’s Speech-Putin’s Ruse

I’m starting this blog with some comments that appeared on the GOPUSA site I agree with about Obama’s speech followed by my commentary as usual. In the first comment Lurch is the nickname for Kerry :D

Leave it to Lurch to suck up to the Communists led by Putin again. I think all of this was and is that he could get close to his heros again and take orders from them. Only Lurch and his stupes in the State Department would believe that the weapons will be confiscated and destroyed. All the time they will be sitting there on the Russian Naval Base awaiting the next use of them by Assad. Lurch, dig out the old files and see that you always have to verify everything that the Russkies sign onto. Complete incompetents. Mean while the illegal invasion continues on our Southern Borders non-stop.

Obama is way out of his league on international politics … Putin ( Russia’s Prime minister) will eat Obama alive every time. That is what happens when a totally inept community organizer, with zero governance experience is elected to the nations highest office. Obama’s election to office is indicator of the American voters ignorance of current events and politics.

If we accept this deal, we have surrendered our status as the super power of the world.

You can NEVER take use of force off the table.

But paint me as one of those tin foil hat wearers, who believes this is exactly what Obama wants. He despises this country for the prosperity we have achieved over the past two hundred years and now he has the power, along with willing traitors in our congress and the statist media, to put us in the kind of harm’s way, we will never recover from.

Well I will go along with your commentary and do believe O is intentionally sinking this country,
However, my opinion is that he is destroying us from within … socially, economically and morally. He is succeeding where Obama Bin Laden failed

The above comments were on the  GOPUSA site and I agree with them totally. I thought Obama’s speech was weak and self centered as usual as he is saying he’s the one who ends wars and is taking credit for his threat for using force for ending this stalemate. Meanwhile new surveys show that 2/3 of the American people trust Putin more than they do Obama. If Obama is really concerned about “the children” over there we should have sent in a strike three years ago when the rebels were more pro-American  instead of now  when they are mostly Al-Suriyah, Al-Nusra and Al Qaeda  which are the most aggressive groups

Meanwhile Putin is playing Obama like a fiddle and the Assad agreement was just a clever  ruse on Putin’s part. While Obama is taking credit for Putin’s suggestion of having Assad hand over his weapons to U.N. inspectors he (Putin) is supplying Iran with S-3000 surface to air missiles and shield over their nuke plants in case we want  to  strike  them. Striking Iran’s nuke plants is what we should have done long ago  to show we are powerful and mean business, but wimpy Obama didn’t do that so now they are a year away from developing a nuke and carrying out their plan to destroy Isreal  and destroy us too in the process with Russia  shielding them with a missile shield.

Russia in 2007 signed a contract to deliver five of the advanced ground-to-air weapons — which can take out aircraft or guided missiles — to Iran at a cost of $800 million.

In 2010, then-president Dmitry Medvedev cancelled the contract after coming under strong US and Israeli pressure not to go ahead with the sale of the weapons system, drawing vehement protests from Tehran.

The source told Kommersant that Russia’s offer would depend on Iran’s withdrawing a $4 billion lawsuit that it has lodged at an international court in Geneva against Russia’s arms export agency.

While all this is going on the white house released a statement saying they would continue to pursue those responsible for the deaths of four U.S. citizens in Benghazi. What a total misconception. What a total bunch of B.S. The American people will not fall for that. It’s been a year and they know who the culprits are and the media even interviewed them at one point. Obviously he (Obama) studied at the OJ Simpson school of finding the perpetrators.

Last night on Sean Hannity’s show   the father of Ty Woods appeared with Col. Olver North and read a letter he sent to Obama demanding answers to the deaths and who gave the order to stand down.

In the United States, the families of those killed a year ago at the consulate say the Obama administration has yet to tell them what really happened, and why it is that none of the killers has been captured or killed.

“It’s hard. I never expected this from my government,” Patricia Smith, mother of Sean Smith, told Fox News. “All they have to do is tell me the truth.”  Sean Smith was a consulate information officer  who  was  among the four people killed in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack by al-Qaeda-linked terrorists.

The White House on Wednesday pledged it would continue to pursue those responsible for the deaths of four U.S. citizens a year ago in Benghazi, Libya.

“The events of last year, losing four brave Americans – Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods – brought home the reality of the challenges we face in the world,” press secretary Jay Carney said in a statement marking the first anniversary of the Benghazi attack and the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

As one commenter astutely said:

“First thing he (Obama)  should do is admit to lying to the American people. Secondly, explain why security was denied when requested. Thirdly, who gave the order to stand down and refuse to go to the aid of the Americans. This is just another shell game this administration plays in order to cover for their incompetence. The same people who now want to bomb innocent civilians are doing so to cover for all the scandals confronting them, Benghazi, IRS , AP and NSA. The say they will do something about Benghazi which seems unlikely, but when are they going to do something about the others?”

We have had some blatant scandal level cover ups within the Obama administration and every one of them have fizzled out as Obama, Eric Holder, liberal Congressional leaders, and the liberal media continue to ignore efforts to find out what happened and who was responsible for the decisions involved. And for who is Holder, who is supposed to be our chief law enforcer, but is really our chief law breaker, doing this? Well our current President of course…as Holder is the “enforcer” for the Obama led Chicago style takeover of our federal government.
