Bialek's Ex-Boyfriend Victor Jay Zuckerman has Troubles of His Own

Sharon Bialek’s ex-boyfriend Victor Jay Zuckerman, appeared recently with Attorney Gloria Allred to corroborate her accusation that Herman Cain groped her in 1997. Bialek’s credibility has been called into question by some due to extensive legal and financial troubles.

An examination of Illinois court record’s reveals, however, that Zuckerman has bigger financial and legal problems than she does. Court documents (1:10-cv-07844 DISTRICT COURT NORTHERN DISTRICT OF ILLINOIS EASTERN DIVISION) reveal that Zuckerman, on Sep 15th of 2010, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Western District of Louisiana. His creditors include, among others, Stratford Center (with claims of $675,000.00), his ex-wife (with claims of $89,000.00), and the IRS (with claims of $50,000.00).

The lawsuit filed in Illinois, is an effort by Stratford Medical Center to recover funds from Stratford Pediatric, the practice owned by Zukerman. Documents in the case state that “In May 2010 (after the bench trial, but before the judgment was entered) Stratford Pediatric sold its assets to Central DuPage Hospital for $333,000.00 in cash. This money was mostly transferred to Zuckerman’s personal accounts. He soon went on a gambling and day trading spree and lost all of the money. In July 2010, Zuckerman moved to Louisiana.”

Herman Cain Better Be Telling The Truth

Oh, Herman.  Why did you double down so forcibly?  I hope Cain’s innocent, really I do.  Tuesday’s press conference gave him little wiggle room.  Within the first 1 minute and 45 seconds, Herman Cain said that he saw Sharon Bialek for “the very first time”, that he “doesn’t even know who this woman is”, and that he “doesn’t recognize her name at all”.  By the 2 minute and 20 second mark, he had repeated that he didn’t know who Sharon Bialek is and that he didn’t recognize her name.

I hope that’s true.  We already know that he saw her in September of this year, but that might have been the only time he’s ever seen her, and he may honestly have forgotten about it.

But when you think back to Sharon Bialek’s original press conference, Sharon was very, very specific in her accusations.  Here’s some of the transcript from that press conference.

“I took the train into Washington, D.C. When I went to check into the room I was shocked to be taken to a palatial suite. I said to the bellman that there must be some mistake, but he insisted that there was no mistake. I later found out that Mr. Cain had arranged for the suite, though at the time I thought that maybe my boyfriend had tried to surprise me.

“I met Mr. Cain in the lobby of the bar at the Capitol Hilton at around 6:30 p.m. We had drinks at the hotel, and he asked how I liked my room, which is kind of normal, and I said I was very surprised. I said, I can’t believe it, I’ve got this great suite, it’s gorgeous. Mr. Cain kind of smirked, and then said, ‘I upgraded you.’

“He then took me to an Italian restaurant where we had dinner. During dinner, Mr. Cain looked at me and said, ‘Why are you here?’ I said, ‘Actually, Herman, my boyfriend, whom you met, suggested that I meet with you ‘cause he thought you could help me because I really need a job. I was wondering if there’s anything available at the state association level or perhaps if you could speak to someone at the foundation to try to get my job back, perhaps even in a different department.’ He said, ‘I’ll look into that.’

“While we were driving back to the hotel, he said that he would show me where the National Restaurant Association offices were. He parked the car down the block. I thought that we were going to go into the offices so he that could show me around. At that time I had on a black pleated skirt, a suit jacket and a blouse. He had on a suit with his shirt open. But instead of going into the offices, he suddenly reached over and he put his hand on my leg under my skirt and reached for my genitals. He also grabbed my head and brought it toward his crotch. I was very, very surprised and very shocked.

“I said: ‘What are you doing? You know I have a boyfriend. This isn’t what I came here for.’ Mr. Cain said, ‘You want a job, right?’

“I asked him to stop and he did. I asked him to take me back to my hotel which he did, right away.”

Here are some of the details just from that transcript:
She said that she stayed in the Capitol Hilton
He upgraded her room to a suite.
She met him in the lobby bar for drinks
They went to an Italian restaurant.
She had on a pleated skirt.

When you listen to her tell the tale in her press conference (that the transcript above is from), she really seems to be making specific accusations and “recalling” specific details.  When Herman Cain says that he doesn’t even know who Bialek is, he’s denying a LOT of things.  So, if even ONE of them is true, it casts a lot of his testimony into question.

If any one of the things Ms. Bialek claims is proven to be true, then Herman’s goose can be cooked.  (hotel records, credit card records, etc…)  I feel that Mr. Cain took a very big gamble by saying he had did not even know who Sharon Bialek is.  I think it would have been a safer bet for him to say he’s “not sure” if he’d ever seen her before, but by making such adamant claims, he’s really given himself little recourse in the event (or if) he’s ever proven to not be telling the truth.

Of course… if he IS telling the truth, then his gamble may likely pay off.

What do you guys think?  Did Herman take too big of a risk by saying so adamantly that he did not even know who Sharon Bialek is?  Should he have been more vague and just said that he “didn’t recall ever meeting her”?  Or, should he have “put his chips all in”, as it seems he has?  What would you do, if you were accused of wrong doing by someone on national TV, for that matter?  I’m not sure what I would do, if I was in that situation, myself.

As always, let us know what you think in the comments below.  I know a lot of you are tired of this conversation, but we’re trying to choose a leader of the free world, and part of the process is gauging how candidates do under pressure.  And right now, I’d say Herman Cain is under pressure.

Sharon Bialek: Why Women Like Her Are A Danger To Us All

The world now has the name of at least one of the “anonymous” women accusing Presidential Candidate Herman Cain of sexual harassment.

As I sat watching the presss conference yesterday, I went from rolling my eyes, to angry, to being literally sick at my stomach, all the way back to being angry again.

Why would this make me angry, you ask? Why can’t I simply chalk it up to what some would consider an attention seeker, and what others will simply call a liar? Let me explain why. But, let me warn you, if you like nice little stories, this is not one you want to read. This is the perfect time to exit this article.

For those of you who have not left, and would like to know why Sharon Bialek has made me so angry, we have to travel back in time a bit. We have to go back a bit further in history than the 15 years Sharon Bialek is talking about.

The year is 1987- a full 10 years before the alleged Cain-Bialek incident. There was a young girl, naive in the ways of the world, yet thought she knew it all. She was what most would call a “good girl”, but not for the typical reasons those words are used to describe a young lady. For the most part, she did what she was told, got good grades, and stayed out of trouble. What her parents did not realize what she had a sneaky streak a mile wide and 100 miles long – a streak that would change her life forever.

One Saturday night she spent the night with a friend. While her parents knew the parents of this other girl, they were not real close, and did not know the troubled past of the other girl.

That night, the girls went to the skating rink. Now, that might not sound like a big deal to you, but to this young girl, this was a bit of the “forbidden fruit”. She had never gone to the skating rink without her parents, so for her to be able to go “hang out” at the skating rink with a friend was almost too good to be true. You could tell she was a bit uncomfortable in her surroundings, not quite knowing exactly what to do.

Her friend’s boyfriend had met them up there, and after introductions were made, further plans for the night began to shape up. The friend said to her boyfriend, “We have to find someone for her!” The girl was very adamant that she didn’t “want” to have someone “found” for her. Throughout the night, the boyfriend pointed out a friend of his, asking what she thought of him. None were of interest to her, and she kept saying no.

The night at the skating rink ended, and the friends’ dad came to pick the girls up. They went home to hang out like all girls do when they spend the night with friends.

Several times throughout the night her friend had talked about “when the guys picked them up”, or “when we sneak out”. She told her friend she was not going to sneak out. She was rock solid, never wavering in her answer. There was absolutely no way she would sneak out. She knew she had no business outside in the middle of the night. But her friend kept piling on the peer pressure. The closer to midnight it came, the more pressure was put on. She continued to say no.

When her friend decided she would go with or without the young girl, it was an awkward moment. Then the fateful words were spoken. “If you are really my friend, you’ll go with me!”

And she gave in. Against her better judgement, she heaved a very heavy sigh of reluctance, and climbed out the window. She was a klutz, so simply getting outside was an adventure in and of itself.

The girls walked down the long, dark road, one silent, one very animated. She knew she shouldn’t be here. She felt the dread in her heart heavier than anything she had ever known. However, she was a true friend. She would always be a true friend. So she would put on a brave face for the night.

Little could she have known that a brave face was what she would need to get through the next decade of her life!

At the end of the dark, country road was the intersection to the main road going through their little town. On the corner was a church. This was the meeting place. The “guys” were to pick them up at the church. The girls waited, and waited, and waited. The meeting time passed. After much discussion, she finally convinced her friend that they should go back home. So they started walking back up the same long, dark country road they had walked down. They had not made it far when they saw headlights. The car stopped. It was “the guys”.

The friend’s boyfriend was driving, and he had indeed brought “a friend” along with him. She climbed awkwardly into the backseat with him, and shyly said hello. Her friend was laughing and telling her boyfriend how they thought the guys were not going to pick them up, and they were headed back home. They were driving around, going nowhere in particular. After a short time, they turned down a bumpy dirt road, pulled up in the rough circle that had been made by many cars before them. The driver parked the car, turned off the ignition, and turned the key over so the music would still play.

The occupants in the front seat immediately turned to each other and began making out.

She was in the backseat, all alone with a “guy” she had never met before, and had no clue what to do. She knew she was not going to make out with him, she didn’t even know him. He was talking to her, inviting her to move closer to him. She didn’t want to be rude, but she was already close enough to be able to smell the beer on his breath. To say she was uncomfortable is an understatement.

He was nice enough, at first, but seemed to be bothered by the fact that she wasn’t as aggressive as her friend was in the front seat. He even made a comment about how well the two in the front seat were getting along.

She can’t remember exactly how things progressed to the point it had, but she was now beside him, facing him. It happened so quickly. She remembers being very uncomfortable with it, and even more uncomfortable when he began kissing her.

If you asked her parents or others who knew her, they would say she was quite “boy crazy”. She always talked about liking this boy or that boy. But this was not the innocent little girl liking a boy in her class. This was something very different- something very grown up. She was not ready for anything like this, and she knew it!

While she knew what kissing was, and had already had her “first kiss”, remember…. she was very naive- and again, I stress naive! You can imagine her surprise when things took an abrupt turn in the back seat, and the “guy” was no longer kissing her, but was pushing her head to his crotch. All that kept going through her mind was, “What is he doing??”

Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for her to find out what he was doing, but she did not understand what he wanted her to do. When he forced her to do what he wanted, she was so shocked and surprised she literally began to gag and choke. Fighting to regain control of her breath and her senses, she bit him. This made him angry. He decided to do things differently.

She was quite relieved when he pulled her up, expecting to just sit back quietly. However, he had other things in mind. Her world immediately went into a tailspin when he threw her on her back, across the seat. She struggled against him, fighting to sit up. He was much bigger than she was, so though she tried desperately to defend her innocence, she was no match for him. In one swift move, he slapped her face, she reached up to touch where he had hit. And her innocence was gone.

She laid there crying, praying for it to end. What was her friend doing? Why wasn’t she helping her? Surely they had heard- and felt the car moving- as she struggled against him. But they were too busy doing their own thing to take notice of her.

Her face stung where he had hit her. She didn’t fight back anymore, just hoping it would end soon. She tried to ignore the searing pain that ripped through every fiber of her body, concentrating instead on the song that played on the radio. She clung to every musical note and every single word. Until the day she dies that song will have a hauntingly beautiful place in her heart. If she hears it today, she instantly goes back to that night, yet, it is her comfort.

Once it was all over, he simply pushed her aside. In a daze, she sat up and redressed. She realized that her clothes were wet where he had spilled beer on her.

The occupants in the front seat had ended their festivities, and had sat up and redressed. Everyone was talking and laughing at this point- that is, everyone but her.

What seemed like forever, but surely couldn’t have been more than an hour or so later, the “guys” finally dropped them off back on the dark country road once again.  After a hearty round of goodbyes from everyone- except for her- the girls got out of the car to head home. As she got out of the backseat, her legs wobbled and she nearly collapsed. She quickly collected herself, stood up, and began walking away. She never looked back.

It was difficult for her to walk. She was in so much pain. She didn’t fully understand everything that had happened to her. And here was her “friend” beside her, chattering away about how much fun she had that night. It suddenly became apparent to the friend that she was not so excited, and the friend asked what was wrong.

In an instant, she whirled on the other girl who she had once called “friend”.

With anger she never knew she was capable of, she spat back at the girl, “HE RAPED ME!”

~*~*~*~*~

I am that girl. When I was 14-years-old I was raped.

While I can tell the story in great detail, I can assure you I can never be so flippant and lighthearted in retelling it. I know what happened to me. I will never forget. I don’t have to have “the story” written on a piece of paper. If I am telling what happened to me, I don’t have to find my place on a page. I can pick up the story at any point and tell it just the same.

It is true, Sharon Bialek was not raped. However, I have my doubts as to anything she said. Her attitude is not one of a woman who was nearly assaulted, even if it is 15 years later.

Yes, there will be those who say that everyone reacts differently. That is true. It doesn’t make her story any more believable.

You will never be able to convince me that Herman Cain attempted to assault Sharon Bialek. In her story, he simply accepted her negative response and let it be. If a man is truly intent on taking advantage of a woman, assaulting her, raping her, or whatever other term you want to put to it, a simply, “You know I have a boyfriend” is not going to stop him.

Was Herman Cain ever inappropriate with her? Quite possibly. But highly doubtful.

Ms. Bialek has already cast doubt upon her trustworthiness in the story she’s told. Shame on her!

It is because of women like Sharon Bialek that ladies everywhere- young and old alike- who have been assaulted, go through the hell we have to go through to truly heal after such a horrible experience. It is bad enough to have it happen to you. It is even worse to have women claim something that happened to them when it did not.

It is because of women like Sharon Bialek that men everywhere- young and old alike- are never safe from a false accusations. At any point in time, if an accusation against them comes up, more often than not it comes down to exactly what the Cain-Bialek case is: Her word against his.

It simply comes down to who does it “benefit” as to whos story is accepted and believed.

Sharon Bialek and women like her are dangerous to us all.

Serious questons arise about Cain accuser Sharon Bialek

On Tuesday, the campaign of GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain released a statement putting his latest accuser Sharon Bialek’s history into full public view.

The fact is that Ms. Bialek has had a long and troubled history, from the courts to personal finances – which may help explain why she has come forward 14 years after an alleged incident with Mr. Cain, powered by celebrity attorney and long term Democrat donor Gloria Allred.

In the courts, Ms. Bialek has had a lengthy record in the Cook County Court system over various civil lawsuits. The following cases on file in Cook County are:

  • · 2000-M1-707461 Defendant against Broadcare Management
  • · 2000-M1-714398 Defendant in lawsuit against Broadcare Management
  • · 2000-M1-701522 Defendant in lawsuit against Broadcare Management
  • · 2005-M1-111072 Defendant in lawsuit against Mr. Mark Beatovic.
  • · 2007-M1-189176 Defendant in lawsuit against Midland Funding.
  • · 2009-M1-158826 Defendant in lawsuit against Illinois Lending.

Ms. Bialek was also sued in 1999 over a paternity matter according to ABC 7 Chicago (WLS-TV). Source: WLS-TV, November 7, 2011

In personal finances, PACER (Federal Court) records show that Ms. Bialek has filed for bankruptcy in the Northern District of Illinois bankruptcy court in 1991 and 2001. The respective case numbers according to the PACER system are 1:01-bk-22664 and 1:91-bk-23273.

While the Cook County Circuit Court docket search does reveal a  Sharon Bialek as a defendant in the above cases, the Cain campaign is the first official confirmation that it is the same Sharon Bialek that is accusing Herman Cain of sexual impropriety.

The campaign’s release also asks key questions as to the timing of Ms. Bialek’s claim, how her high-powered legal team is being funded considering her vast financial troubles and what, if anything, Sharon Bialek is receiving in return for coming out so close to the primaries.

Some recent history that the release did not point out is that Sharon and Herman were together last month. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that at the TeaCon meeting last month, radio host Amy Jacobson (AM 560 WND) observed Herman Cain and Sharon Bialek hug and talk closely.

They hugged each other backstage in a full embrace like old friends.

She grabbed his arm and whispered in his left ear.

She kept talking as he bent to listen, and he kept saying “Uh, huh. Uh, huh.”

Huh?

“I don’t know if what she was giving him was a sucker punch, but he didn’t put his arm down while she was talking to him,” said the Sneed source.

The “he”… is GOP presidential contender Herman Cain, who has been accused of sexual harassment by several women.

The “she”… is Chicagoan Sharon Bialek, who held a news conference Tuesday as the only woman to PUBLICLY accuse Cain of sexual harassment.

In an interview with Glenn Beck on his GBTV network, Amy Jacobson – the source for the Sun-Times article had a slightly different account:

Jacobson described that at a Tea Party convention in October, the accuser, Sharon Bialek, rushed Herman Cain backstage. She held his attention for 2-3 minutes, and after what appeared to be an intense and in-depth discussion Bialek stormed off.

Jacobson didn’t know what was said or why Bialek left the way she did, but the account on the Chicago news site and in the interview tell different stories of the interaction – and neither shines a positive light on Sharon Bialek.

Cain to Respond to Allred Allegations in Phoenix Press Conference

In response to the allegations made today by Gloria Allred, Mr. Cain will conduct a press conference on Tuesday, November 8th at the Scottsdale Plaza in Phoenix, Arizona at 3:00 pm local time.

It is noteworthy that Gloria Allred is a celebrity lawyer who specializes in generating publicity for herself and her clients.

Ms. Allred is a high-profile Democrat Party donor and activist who has given over ten thousand dollars to liberal Democrats like Barack Obama, Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer.

The questions the media should be asking are who’s paying for Gloria Allred’s fee, how did Ms. Bialek get introduced to Ms. Allred, and was she paid to come forward with these false accusations or was she promised employment?

After attacking Herman Cain through anonymous accusers for a week, his opponents have now convinced a woman with a long history of severe financial difficulties, including personal bankruptcy, to falsely accuse the Republican frontrunner of events occurring over a decade ago for which there is no record, nor even a complaint filed.

Cain Accuser Comes Forward with Lawyer Gloria Allred

Gloria Allred brought forth the 4th accuser in the ongoing sexual harassment charges against Herman Cain Monday afternoon.  Sharon Bialek worked for the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association in Chicago in 1996-1997.  Part of her job was to work on a new scholarship initiative for students who wished to continue their education in the restaurant industry.  She was let go in 1997 after being told she had not raised enough money.  Bialek felt her discharge was unfair but had no legal resource.  Having spent some time with Cain at an NRA convention in 1997 she felt they had made a warm, respectful connection and reached out to Cain for help with employment.  As Allred puts it, Cain offered her his own version of a “stimulus package”.

Allred offered declarations from an ex-boyfriend and businessman friend of Bialek’s who back up her claim of harassment by Cain during that time and will attest to the fact that she shared her concerns with them.

Bialek was well spoken and intelligent.  Her resume is impressive and she is currently a stay at home mother.  Allred was also careful to note that Bialek is a registered Republican.  She described first meeting Cain in 1997 at an NRA luncheon with her boyfriend and how they immediately like Cain.  She claimed Cain was “warm and attentive” and she was honored when Cain invited her and her boyfriend back to a party at his hotel suite later that night.  It was her boyfriend who suggested she contact Cain to help her with a job hunt.  Bialek continued that she called Cain and arranged to meet him in Washington D.C. “for coffee”. When she checked into the  D.C. Capital Hilton, Bialek described how surprised she was to find her room was rather “palatial”.  Upon meeting Cain in the lobby bar, he proceeded to ask her how she liked her accommodations.  At this point, Bialek describes Cain as “smirking” as he said, “I upgraded you”.  Later, the two went to dinner and then Cain suggested they drive by the NRA headquarters, to which Bialek agreed.  That is where the alleged assault took place.  Bialek claims they parked the car at which point Cain reached up her skirt and tried to fondle her, then grabbed her head and forced it toward his genital area.  She immediately rebuked him, explained that wasn’t what she came there for and left.  Bialek later described the general incident to her boyfriend and another friend, but not the details.  She also says she did not come forward with the accusations at the time because she was not employed by the NRA, but seeing his candidacy now, she felt it was important to represent the other women who could not or would not come forward, and victims of “sexual harassment everywhere”.  Bialek wrapped up with a statement aimed directly at Cain – “I want you to come clean…I implore you to make this right”.

Bialek answered no further questions herself, but Allred did take a few from the press directly following the statements.  Allred says her client is not filing any law suits, has not sold her story or profited from it and is only interested in lending a voice to the charges.

Bialek seemed confident, well-spoken and quite put-together.  She did not carry an air of fake desperation or duplicity, but she was also rather emotionless considering she was speaking of such a disturbing event.  The press conference seems to raise more questions than answers.  Has Cain known about this woman’s claims (false or true that they may be) all this time and if so, had he simply hoped they would not be publicized?  Why did Bialek fly all the way from Chicago to Washington D.C. to ask for help finding a job in the first place?  It seems a simple phone call or a few emails could have sufficed.  If the allegations are true, why would Cain – a very intelligent man- even run?  The ball is clearly in Cain’s court and it remains to be seen how his camp will handle this current situation.  So far, Cain’s support has only swelled in light of the controversy.  It remains to be seen if that support will continue now that America has a face and a voice to put to the accusations.
