Numerous Firearms Manufacturers Refuse to Sell to Govt

While the President and the rabid left continue to pursue a ban on semi-automatic firearms, manufacturers are fighting back by refusing to sell to government agencies that support the President’s plan.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emannuel tried to pressure Bank of America to stop doing business with firearms companies. Viewed as perfectly acceptable behavior by a large portion of America, firearms manufacturers copied the tactic and returned the favor.

Larue Tactical, Olympic Arms, Templar Custom, Extreme Firepower, Barrett Arms and now RAM Arms have vocalized that they will not sell their products to government agencies that support the President’s position on gun rights.

The President believes that ordinary citizens do not need shotguns with more than 5 rounds, pistols with more than 10 or rifles with more than 10. The math is a bit fuzzy as most murders are committed with handguns containing relatively few rounds. The number of rounds is actually irrelevant. In fact, the gun is irrelevant – apparently, when someone decides to kill someone else, they prefer baseball bats or choking the life out of them over guns.

The number of gun crimes committed by lawful gun owners is infinitesimal – yeah, like, near non-existent compared to the total. I know, who wants facts when emotion can lead us to a final decision?

Oddly, criminals get guns that the lawmakers in Chicago, New York and LA have banned.  How is that possible? They made the law, certainly that means everyone will follow it?

Sarcasm aside, many firearms manufacturers have decided to answer the government’s unconstitutional overreach by refusing to sell government agencies arms or ammunition. As the President says, the people should come first – and so they shall.

The firearms and ammunition manufacturers have been clear that they will sell to law enforcement officers who need equipment and support citizen’s ability to defend themselves during the several minutes (10+ on average) that it would take police to get there. Think about what an assailant could do to you or your family  in 10 minutes…

If government departments or law enforcement officers believe that the President has the best answers to violent crime, they may find themselves without anyone to supply them.

RAM Arms is a manufacturer of firearms and a retail sporting goods outlet. RAM’s CEO Richard Mitchell said in a Facebook post:

While RAM Arms supports our Deputies and Police Officers with every ounce of our hearts, we will not be selling patrol shotguns, ARs or other equipment or ammo to government agencies that support the President’s version of violent crime prevention. As Chicago has proven – his plan doesn’t work and only disarms the innocents.

Individual LEOs that support a citizen’s right to defend themselves with arms are always welcome.

If you haven’t actually thought through your gun rights position, we cannot ethically sell you much of anything.”

2nd Amendment Ad Too Controversial?

Award winning singer and song writer Steve Vaus was inspired to write “Come and Take It”  a song that invokes memory of  the Battle of Gonzales which occurred during the Texas Revolution. Meant to be a warning to the current administration and congress about gun control the song is a metaphor about current gun control proposals reminding us of the right to bear arms in a strong Second Amendment theme.

According to Vaus, the song in a shorter ad version, is currently seen as too controversial, too hot, for talk radio stations to accept.  He is still looking for stations that will accept his airtime purchase.

What do you think? Is it too controversial?

If you buy anything on an auction site, you are why prices are skyrocketing

Manufacturers and distributors have not raised their prices on guns, gun parts or accessories by a penny. All of the sudden price increases are due to profiteering (aka gouging) by those gun store owners and sellers that would scam you for too much money for too little product.

The only way to prevent such gouging is not to partake. Let those who would buy up everything in order to sell them at extreme prices eat those items. It is time for all good Americans to realize that ARs, AR parts, magazines, ammo and accessories will be freely available for a long time to come.

If  you buy stuff on the auction sites or classifieds for ridiculous prices, you are the reason the prices are ridiculous. Supply, demand – math.

VIDEO: A Lesson In Firearms

IMG_2854The testimony from Rob Doar at the Minnesota House Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee Hearing was a lesson in firearms that every gun control advocate needs to see. Unfortunately, several Democrat legislators, including the author of the bill to ban such firearms and equipment, felt it was unnecessary to be a part of the discussion.

Doar is a firearms expert and testified in opposition to proposed legislation that would ban certain firearms, limit ammunition capacities, require additional annual background checks and in-home gun storage inspections, firearm confiscation, as well as other measures to restrict the lawful possession of firearms in Minnesota.

Hundreds of pro-Second Amendment activists have attended the Public Safety Committee hearings that will wrap up Thursday evening. Representative Michael Paymar (D), Chair of the committee, has said that all of the gun control bills being discussed will be “laid over” for inclusion into a larger omnibus bill later in the month.

What no one is telling us about Feinstein’s gun legislation – Part 1

Dianne_Feinstein_gun_banSen. Dianne Feinstein has been on a mission since the original Clinton gun ban failed to meet her expectations – the complete and total revocation of the second amendment rights for any and all private persons.

Right after the Sandy Hook tragedy, she was able to pull out an all-encompassing piece of gun legislation that went much further than Clinton dared while using the murder of innocents to affect her political agenda. The question everyone should be asking is – what’s in it? (and no, we shouldn’t wait until they pass it to ask – we know what happens when they do that.)

The intermediate goal of the bill is apparent in section 1: ‘This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Assault Weapons Ban of 2013’’’ – the long term goal is up to the reader to discern. The question is what do they intend next?

The way that Congress tries to bury the details is by only showing the amendments to existing U.S. code and/or bills, amendments and laws. We’ll spend the time to show you the existing codified law referenced in the Senators’ bill so you can best judge what the changes mean. Otherwise, the bill seems harmless…

First, is how the Senator and her compatriots choose to define things. Several types of firearms definitions are added to section 921(a) of the U.S. code, which is the definitions section.

Their first change is to add “semiautomatic pistol” to the list of definitions just after paragraph 29. Previously, only “handguns” were defined in this section of the U.S. code. Even though the bill is supposedly about assault rifles, this new definition is included :

(1) by inserting after paragraph (29) the following:

(30) The term ‘semiautomatic pistol’ means any re-peating pistol that

(A) utilizes a portion of the energy of a firing cartridge to extract the fired cartridge case and chamber the next round; and

(B) requires a separate pull of the trigger to fire each cartridge.

Why is the new definition of a semi-auto pistols necessary if the bill isn’t about them? In chess, one must not take a single move at its face value – the player must calculate what moves the first makes possible. Many further actions are possible once a simple definition is codified. To make something evil, first you have to define it. Then everyone knows what they should hate when you use that well-defined term – kind of like “assault rifle”.

Next, Feinstein takes care of to define semiautomatic shoguns. Is this necessary in an assault gun ban? Of course not, but that would assume the bill is totally about keeping schools safe or theaters or some other public space. The bill adds paragraph 31, just after the semi-auto handgun definition in 921(a) as:

The term ‘semiautomatic shotgun’ means any repeating shotgun that—

(A) utilizes a portion of the energy of a firing cartridge to extract the fired cartridge case and chamber the next round; and
(B) requires a separate pull of the trigger to fire each cartridge.’’

The Senator’s bill takes care to define semi-automatic shotguns like those used by duck and goose hunters, for home defense or by competitive shooters . Even some skeet shooters use “auto-loaders” – right Mr. President?

What comes next is the most confusing definition in the history of gun terminology. “Semautomatic assault weapon” is to be added to paragraph 36 of 921(a). Which is it? A Ruger Mini-14 ranch rifle is no more an assault rifle than any other detachable magazine rifle. Under certain circumstances – your semiauto will be considered a “Semiautomatic assault weapon” under paragraph 36 of U.S. Code 921(a). Those who do not understand the law are destined to get run over by it. I’ll have to break this up in several parts to clarify what each part means.

The term ‘semiautomatic assault weapon’ means any of the following, regardless of country of manufacture or caliber of ammunition accepted:

(A) A semiautomatic rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any 1 of the following:

(i) A pistol grip.
(ii) A forward grip.
(iii) A folding, telescoping, or detachable stock.
(iv) A grenade launcher or rocket launcher.
(v) A barrel shroud.
(vi) A threaded barrel.

Sub paragraph A above is where the “single military characteristic” rule comes in. In the prior ban, two or more of these characteristics had to be present in order to meet the definition.

(B) A semiautomatic rifle that has a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds, except for an attached tubular device de-signed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.

This next section should cause many gun owners to take pause:

(C) Any part, combination of parts, component, device, attachment, or accessory that is designed or functions to accelerate the rate of fire of a semiautomatic rifle but not convert the semiautomatic rifle into a machinegun.

Sub paragraph C is open to interpretation. Would a certain buffer spring, buffer, lighter bolt or carrier be considered one of these devices? Could this be used to take a grandfathered (we’ll get to this later) rifle and make it un-grandfathered?

(D) A semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any 1 of the following:

(i) A threaded barrel.

(ii) A second pistol grip.

(iii) A barrel shroud

(iv) The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip

(v) A semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.

And now we know why they had to define semiautomatic handguns. So they could then turn them into banned weapons.

(E) A semiautomatic pistol with a fixed magazine that has the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.
(F) A semiautomatic shotgun that has any of the following:

(i) A folding, telescoping, or detachable stock.
(ii) A pistol grip.
(iii) A fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 5 rounds.
(iv) The ability to accept a detachable magazine.
(v) A forward grip.
(vi) A grenade launcher or rocket launcher.

This makes shotguns popular with 3-gun competitors illegal. It also explains why they had to define semiauto shotguns – so they could ban them. A semiauto with more than 5 shot capacity is a popular choice for home defense. These defense shotguns are almost always configured with collapsible stock, pistol grip and 7+ round capacity.

(G) Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
(H) All of the following rifles, copies, duplicates, variants, or altered facsimiles with the capability of any such weapon thereof: (the list is expansive – we’ll put it up as a separate post here)

There are several things that should get the attention of current gun owners. “Barrel Shroud” is defined as “(A) a shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel of a firearm so that the shroud protects the user of the firearm from heat generated by the barrel.” That’s right, your shotgun’s forend, your rifles handgaurd or any other device that keeps you from the heat of a gun barrel is now one of the things that defines a banned gun. Don’t think they won’t refine these definitions to include even more innocuous guns. While they may not be trying to limit the guns you like today – they won’t stop at just these. Soon, the evil guns you like will be limited.

This bill goes after guns that weren’t previously thought evil: hadguns and shotguns used for personal defense and competitive shooting. The bill is not as innocuous as the mainstream media would have us believe – probably because they don’t understand it.

There are several more terms defined by the Democrat sponsors of this bill (Feinstein, Schumer, Durbin, Whitehouse, Blumenthal, Levin, Rockefeller, Mikulski, Boxer, Reed, Lautenberg, Menendez –alleged child prostitute user?), Carden, Gillibrand, Schatz, Murphy, and Warren) – it’s time to think deeper about what our public servants are pushing.

Understand that politicians are only starting with gun sales. In Colorado they believe that the ownership of a gun is, in itself a dangerous action. They seek to force gun owners, sporting goods store owners and manufacturers of sporting goods to be liable should anyone use their products to commit a crime. It is as if all gun owners seek to attack schools, theaters or whatever.

America is losing the belief in itself and its people. Government officials believe they are better people than the average citizen and should therefore decide for us how we should live – the same things that King George III believed. Either we are different than that or we are the same. If we are the same, we are negating the risk that our forefathers took to allow a freer nation, a true Republic – our America.

Ceding any right to the Federal is a weakening of the individual. Believe wholly or believe not at all. The belief in human rights is absolute – not relativistic. When you hear your government officials disparaging the absolute, they are taking a bite out of your absolutely guaranteed human rights in order to give them greater power and profit. The enemy is not the top earners – it is the elitists in government.

We’ll continue tearing apart this dangerous legislation in parts 2 and 3 where we’ll discuss: grandfathering, who can and can’t acquire banned weapons, serializing of magazines, seizure of large capacity magazines, some guns exempted by the bill and more.

America – We Will Stand and Fight – Support Gun Appreciation Day

Gun Appreciation Day - stand and support American's U.S. Constitutional right to bear arms that shall not be abridged

Gun Appreciation Day – stand and support American’s U.S. Constitutional right to bear arms that shall not be abridged

Gun Appreciation Day is not just a time to celebrate the right to bear arms, but it is a time to acknowledge the precious gift that no other nation on earth possesses. This is the gift for every man and woman in this nation to stand toe to toe with an oppressor either foreign or domestic; and announce, “As for me and my family my right to bear arms will not be abridged nor shall it be stolen!”

This day is your way of demonstrating that constitutional gun rights do matter. This is your opportunity to stand up and acknowledge that a nation that fought a War of Independence to be free from tyranny of an imperial elite will not bow on bended knee to a 21st century version of that now residing in the White House. January 19th is the nation’s day to go to your local gun range, gun store or gun show and bring your American Flag and a ‘Hands off my Guns’ sign to show your support!

In fact, according to a national Fox News poll released Friday, January 18th, 71 percent do not think tougher laws can stop shootings like the mass killings that occurred in Newtown, Connecticut in December. “Nearly twice as many voters say there would be less violent crime if more law-abiding Americans owned guns, than if guns were banned.”

On the other hand, liberal gun control organizations have launched advertising campaign to scare parents in homes across America into accepting the tepid rationale of President Obama’s official response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. Obama wants to disarm America be frightening America with edicts that do not address the reason for the mass killings.

No parent in America wants to be on the receiving end of a call from a school or receive a knock on the door from a police officer about fatal shootings at their child’s school. Yet, in the post Sandy Hook Elementary school shootings era, gun control alarmists have ratcheted up their threats on gun rights, by using the main stream media. The words of these media talking heads has been vitriolic and poison the airwaves that permeate American homes daily with lies.

Gun control measures are not new and one of the most infamous examples where this has been used as a precursor to attacking its own citizens was done by Adolph Hitler and his Nazi government, five years after being in power. Sound familiar.

In 1938, the Nazi Party enhanced the Weapons Law and enacted handgun control. Firearms ownership was restricted to Nazi party members and other “reliable” people. Later that year, the government barred all Jews from owning any weapons or seeking weapons from businesses that sold them.

Now comes, another national leader, in the form of the American president. This leader has issued a list on Wednesday, January 16th, of 23 demands concerning gun control. Under the pretense of protecting the innocent children and teachers, Obama wants to diminish owner’s rights while playing lip service to real causes of gun violence in mass shootings.

These languid measures to appease liberal gun owners are a ruse. He has issued a list of suggestions which are not funded, while moving with deliberate speed to strip guns from the homes and hands of honest law abiding citizens. In other words, Obama has attempted to give America the basketball court head fake.

January 19th, Americans have the opportunity to show the president, the congress, but most importantly, Americans who support the Second Amendment, these head fakes do not work. This day is a way of demonstrating that constitutional gun rights do matter. This is the opportunity to stand up and acknowledge that a nation that fought a War of Independence to be free from tyranny of an imperial elite will not bow on bended knee to a 21st century version of that now residing in the White House.

Reaction to the proposed legislative edicts by President Obama for a reinstated sticker assault-weapons ban and a 10-round limit on magazines is raising concerns by state and local officials. According to Fox News, Oregon, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller has already told Vice President Biden, that he will not enforce any recommended gun laws he deemed unconstitutional.

A Texas state legislator went a step further. Rep. Steve Toth (R) is planning legislative action to make it illegal for the state of Texas to enforce any federal laws that restrict the constitutional rights of its citizens to own semi-automatic firearms or the size of gun magazines.

The essential concern of the legislative and law enforcement community in states that are disturbed by Obama and the gun control fanaticism is will it eliminate their citizens from protecting themselves.

Germany’s history of gun control measures must not be America’s prologue to a future where the government can gradually whittle away a citizen’s gun rights. Americans must have the capacity to stand and fight against criminals or anarchists representing Obama’s version of a socialist American government under United Nation’s law.

Today, embrace this national day of gun appreciation as a measure of respect for the Second Amendment that millions of Americans hold dear. The gun control activists want a dialogue in America, but only if it is based on discussing ways to disarm citizens. Show America that today this is your answer to a national dialogue.

Show America that Gun Appreciation Day is your dialogue with Americans who are willing to stand up and fight for the constitutional freedom to keep themselves and their family safe. Send the nation a clear concise message: Guns and the Second Amendment is what Americans will stand and will fight for!”

Will you support your state and sheriff that defy Obama Gun Control Orders

Obama uses Executive Orders to Strip Gun Owners of legal Constitutional Gun Weapons Rights

Obama uses Executive Orders to Strip Gun Owners of legal Constitutional Gun Weapons Rights

Where do you draw the line in the sand in defense of your life, your family and your community? What happens when the President of the United States, determines that it is illegal for you to use the very guns which are constitutionally protected because he issues an executive order against ownership? What alternative are you left with, and who can you turn to?

Your weapons which are constitutionally protected may need a local sheriff who will stand against the federal tidal wave of unconstitutional White House directives to protect gun rights!

States and local sheriffs in several jurisdictions are leading a resurgent awakening in the nation in protecting the gun rights of citizens from being quashed by federal edicts. In fact, some of these states which are considering legislation to criminalize efforts of federal employees that attempt to enforce gun control executive orders. Some of these states considering legislation action include Alabama, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Texas, and Wyoming, among others.

Reaction to the proposed legislative edicts by President Obama for a reinstated sticker assault-weapons ban and a 10-round limit on magazines is raising concerns by local law enforcement officials. According to CNS News, Oregon, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller has already told Vice President Biden in a letter, that he will not enforce any recommended gun laws he deemed unconstitutional.

Another sheriff has joined the growing effort to prevent the assault on legal law abiding citizen’s Second Amendment rights in the state of Kentucky. According to Breitbart, Sheriff Denny Peyman of Jackson County, Kentucky stated recently, “My office will not comply with any federal action which violates the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore uphold.”

A state legislative leader in Texas is tackling this gun control overreach by the Obama administration and gun control advocates. Rep. Steve Toth (R) is planning legislative action to make it illegal for the state of Texas to enforce any federal laws that restrict the constitutional rights of its citizens to own semi-automatic firearms or the size of gun magazines.

Is this not the legal obligation of all local sheriffs and state legislative officials to uphold the dictates of the U.S. Constitution as well as their own state constitution? Is this not their oath of office? In fact, it makes perfect sense that every county, parish and borough in America has a sheriff or law enforcement officials who has taken such an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution.

This means that in all 3009 counties, 64 parishes and 16 boroughs in America, gun owners and those who support the upholding of Second Amendment rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution must get active now. They should be demanding that these officials protect those rights against federal intervention by President Obama or congress.

Take the opportunity to begin a petition effort in your county to request your local sheriff or legislator to protect your Second Amendment rights against Obama’s executive order or congressional intervention. Use Saturday January 19th’s Gun Appreciation Day to rally for this cause or begin your own letter writing campaign.

On January 19th go to your local gun range, gun store or gun show and bring your American Flag and a ‘Hands off my Guns’ sign to show your support!

This day is your way of demonstrating that constitutional gun rights do matter. This is your opportunity to stand up and acknowledge that a nation that fought a War of Independence to be free from tyranny of an imperial elite will not bow on bended knee to a 21st century version of that now residing in the White House.

Embrace this national day of gun appreciation as a measure of respect for the Second Amendment that millions of Americans hold dear. The gun control activists want a dialogue in America, but only if it is based on discussing ways to disarm citizens. Show America that this is your answer to a national dialogue.

Send the nation a clear concise message: “We will stand and fight!”

URGENT: How to beat Barack Obama’s executive order gun control

thoughts from a conservative mom2

It is often said that the Second Amendment is the First Amendment. Without it there can be no others. The Obama Administration just announced plans to use as many as 23 new executive orders to weaken our Second Amendment. These new orders will chip away at our Constitutional right to possess and bear arms. From limiting the amount of ammunition we can buy to an outright reinstatement of the assault weapons ban; the government is coming hard after our firearms.

The Democratic Party are very adept at using horrifying events to force their will on the American people. Never one to let a good crisis go to waste they are masters at capitalizing politically on major events they see fit to further their agenda. So whenever there is a tragic and catastrophic occurrence that brings our nation to its knees they are ready to take advantage.

First it starts with their cohorts in the media sensationalizing the story. Next it is usually followed by the anti gun lobby pressuring Congress to act. Finally after the major pushback from the NRA and pro gun lobby it usually just ends with a whimper, some sharp rhetoric, and empty speeches.

Not this time. Something is different. Barack Obama feels politically indestructible after winning reelection under the weight of the worst economy since the Great Depression. He feels emboldened by his victory and unstoppable in the face of his adversaries. The fact is he should feel that way. The Republicans in Congress have already capitulated on the fiscal cliff so why would they stop him on anything else?

The answer is they won’t but the American people can and here is how we can do it.

The Seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution, which was ratified as part of the Bill of Rights, codifies the right to a jury trial in certain civil cases, and asserts that cases may not be re-examined by another court.

The key here is civil cases. The Seventh Amendment actually could be used effectively to thwart any attempts by Barack Obama to restrict our Second Amendment rights through the use of executive orders. Anyone who has ever needed to retain legal counsel knows just how expensive it can be to litigate as well as defend from litigation. Why not put that same expense and burden on the Obama Administration instead?

According to recent figures from the Department of Health and Human Services there are approximately 80 million gun owners in America. Gun owners in this country are a very diverse group. Contrary to what the liberals want you to believe they are not all hillbilly, bible thumping, Southerners. They are as varied as the avid hunter to the single mother and everyone in-between.

According to The American Bar Association there are approximately 1.2 million attorneys practicing law here in America. Imagine if we could get at least five million of the 80 million gun owners to file separate and individual civil rights lawsuits simultaneously against our government? Think about what kind of impact that would have on our Justice Department? The Obama Administration and Attorney General Eric Holder would be so overwhelmed with trying to answer all those lawsuits they would probably just give up and here are the reasons why.

In order to make these lawsuits more impactful on our government it is vitally important to file these lawsuits in such a way where the risk for the government is greater than the reward. In filing these lawsuits the petitioners must demand a jury trial of their peers.

Additionally, they must also request that the respondent, in this case the government, pays their attorney fees. By adding these two caveats into the language of the lawsuits it would make the government think twice in regards to fighting them.

Furthermore, the cost associated with defending the executive orders would be so astronomical that it would literally bankrupt our already bankrupt nation; and stall Barack Obama’s draconian remake of America in the process. Our government is already 16 trillion dollars in debt so there is no extra money to fight back with. With the economy already on the constant brink of collapse the political risk would be too damaging to survive. It is for these reasons that the government would rescind any and all executive orders in regards to gun control.

For those of you who are reading this let me save you the suspense. I am not an attorney nor do I play one on television. What I am is an expert in politics and strategy.

The Republicans in Congress have already shown us that they are not up to the challenge. Their actions on the fiscal cliff deal were nothing short of inept. If we are to count on them to protect us we will never survive as a nation.

Barack Obama and the Democratic Party know they can run roughshod over the Republicans in Congress. They also know that they can execute their leftist agenda on America with little to no resistance. It will be up to us Americans to stop them. We need to outsmart, outfox, and out think the left in order to halt their oppressive agenda for America. We must think outside the box and be more creative in how we attack them.

We can throw around words like treason and impeachment all we want but lets be honest we don’t have the votes right now to see that through. If we win back the Senate and keep the House that’s a different story. But for now we must remain steadfast and vigilant.

Our Founding Fathers were true visionaries. They were the best and brightest men of their time. They created the Constitution in order to protect us from enemies both foreign and domestic. It is time we use what they gave us to defend ourselves and our nation from our government.

My goal is for this article to get passed around more times than a peace pipe at an Occupy Wall Street Rally. So please email, repost, and retweet this to as many people as you know, especially gun owners and attorneys. Time is of the essence here and we must fight now to preserve our rights later. A good idea can only become a great idea when it is acted upon.

Media Hypocrisy In The War On Guns

CASV Yard SignWould YOU put this sign in YOUR yard?

A crew of undercover journalists asked just that of the many editors, commentators and journalists in the New York & DC metro following weeks of media attention given to a New York paper that published the names and addresses of law abiding gun owners. Their responses were astonishing and quite different than their on-air and/or published stance. And it’s all caught on video.

Project Veritas, the brain child of James O’Keefe who has unraveled ACORN and exposed voter fraud in at least 5 states, approached MSNBC’s Toure, editors of the now notorious “gun maps” and even knocked on the door to Attorney General Eric Holder’s home, which greeted them with armed security.

Watch the video here: (This writer is the first person in the video!)

The “targets” of the investigation are those in media who have advocated for strict gun control in the US and who have attempted to publicly shame legal gun owners. The goal? To determine if the gun control activists would practice what they preach and place a sign in their own yard advertising their home was a “gun free zone.”

O’Keefe has been a fierce critic of cable and mainstream media outlets for promoting a political agenda and says he aims simply to point out the hypocrisy in popular liberal circles.

“The fact that they will say one thing on air to get ratings or whatever, the fact that they will publish and target law-abiding citizens, and then not live to their own standards is astounding,” says O’Keefe of the journalists in the video who refused signs or felt uncomfortable sharing their own personal information.

Shortly after the Journal News published the names and addresses (complete with interactive maps on the newspaper’s website), the National Rifle Association struck back with a long list of their own “outing” gun control advocates.

As expected by many, there is already an investigation into one robbery where a 72 year old law abiding man’s home was targeted specifically for the guns he had locked inside.

TARGETED? Gun Owner Robbed After Newspaper Publishes Address

Journal News mapIn late December 2012, the Journal News published names and addresses of legal gun owners in 2 New York counties. The paper obtained the list via a Freedom of Information request (FOIA), compiled the data and published an article entitled, ‘The Gun Owner Next Door’ complete with interactive maps in the online version of the piece. (Link intentionally left out so as not to provide the Journal News with more hits)

Gun owners immediately voiced their concerns saying that publishing such a list unfairly infringes on their privacy and gives criminals a literal road map of homes to attack and which to avoid.

The gun owners may have been correct.

Police are investigating a burglary in White Plains, NY in which the victim’s legally owned weapons may have been the target. The home was on the Journal News gun map.

One lawmaker is outraged by the event and is blaming the paper for the burglary.

State Senator Greg Ball released a harshly worded statement as news of the crime surfaced over the weekend.

“The Journal News has placed the lives of these folks at risk by creating a virtual shopping list for criminals and nut jobs. If the connection is proven, this is further proof that these maps are not only an invasion of privacy, but they present a clear and present danger to law-abiding, private citizens. Former convicts have already testified to the usefulness of the asinine Journal News ‘gun maps’ yet the reckless editors are evidently willing to roll the dice, gambling with the lives of innocent local homeowners.”

The 72 year old victim of the burglary was not home at the time of the robbery and the accused were unable to open the gun safe. One person is in custody.

The Second War of Independence has been declared

Obama may use executive order to increase stricter gun control measures

Obama may use executive order to increase stricter gun control measures

There is a sickening aroma in the air that is beginning to permeate the very soul of independent freedom embracing Americans. It began to originate long before the shooting at Aurora, Colorado, or recently in Newtown, Connecticut. Its rancid fragrance seeps into the fabric of the U.S. Constitution and is emitted by the control terrorists who manipulate the facts and perceptions of Americans who watch the news. These purveyors of stricter gun control measures seek to erode your defenses so that in your weakened state you will accept their sweet smelling tyranny.

The nation that was represented as a symbolic shining city on a hill that President Ronald Reagan spoke about over 30 years ago is now becoming a broken mud hole of shattered dreams. America’s morning that has dawned over the nation is now bearing witness to the shredding of constitutional protections which have safe guarded families since the infancy of the republic. Obama has given the order to Vice President Biden: full steam ahead to obliterate gun rights in your town. You and your family are the targets and what will you do?

The reaction by gun owners and even prospective gun owners to Obama’s desperate executive order zeal is to hurry up and buy up all the potential guns and now legal weapons. The worry is that these legal weapons might be taken by edict or by force by the government. That may be a logical solution, but it is only a temporary one.

Once Obama’s federal government has quenched its thirst on stripping away gun rights, it will not hesitate to take the next step to criminalize actual possession of legally held banned weapons!

Then what will you do?

What is the response to a government that embraces tyrannical rule over the constitutional guarantees and protections contained within the U.S. Constitution?

What are you, the father, the mother, the son or the daughter prepared to do when, the government official, acting on direct orders from a new commission set up by President Obama to confiscate your guns, comes to your home’s door?

Where are the defenders of the U.S. Constitution who are elected in Congress? Are you absolutely certain they will not give in, and knuckle under Obama’s determination which is aided by the mainstream media talking heads?

Remember these are the same talking heads that avoided Obama’s dismissive behavior in not enforcing congressional legislation. This is the same mainstream media that buried the White House Benghazi murder cover up as if it never happened. Think about your choices when seeking to rely upon the once independent fourth estate, which has been rendered a useless patsy for the Obama administration.

Do you really believe that once your guns are banned, and the weapons that were grandfathered in and off limits from government seizure, will not be taken in the second round of gun control legislation?

The first War for Independence initially began with a flurry of gunshots which rang out in Boston on March 5, 1770. There Americans drew the line in the sand against British imperialism and tyranny. The first to die, Crispus Attucks a Blackman, and the 20 others with him had sticks and clubs, and the British soldiers had guns. Obviously sticks and clubs were not a match, then nor are they now.

John Hancock, one of the nation’s founding father spoke of that legendary heroic moment, by urging, “… for a well-regulated militia of the whole people who would fight “for their liberty, and for themselves, and for their God.

Unfortunately, for the tragic victims of New Town, Connecticut, the Obama led federal government in Washington, is moving to disarm its citizens by using the very laws that Hancock and other founding fathers fought so desperately for. Instead, Obama, Biden and gun control mayors like New York City’s Michael Bloomberg, continuously assault the U.S. Constitutional Second Amendment rights. They work to manipulate this tragedy to lead a sustained assault on freedom of defense against such government tyranny.

The goal of the gun control activists is clear. They use their partnership with the mainstream media to paint a portrait of tragedy across the television screens of America’s living rooms and blame guns as the cause. They seek to nurture, cajole, neutralize or tempt Americans with the notion that guns created the havoc, and misery and tragedy that befell the victims.

The mentally unstable assailants who pulled the trigger and who designed the loathsome events are never held to account for any responsibility in perpetrating the heinous deeds. The incredulousness of the target legal gun owner rights rationale defies reason. Taken to a logical conclusion, you would have to think the gun trigger actually forced the assassins to pick up the weapon and pull the trigger.

America, if you fall victim to this prospective criminalization of your own legal rights, then the forces of Obama and his socialist tyranny have already won half of the battle.

On Tuesday, January 15th, Vice President Joe Biden is going to submit his gun control task force report to Obama. After that, the full on assault will begin over the next several weeks in the nation’s capitol.

You should not wait and see what will happen in Washington D.C., during this legislative battle. This has to be a time where you, the defender of your house, your home, your castle, truly take steps to embrace the tasks of true constitutional vigilance. This vigilance begins in your home, and not in Washington D.C.

Each American must determine that they are ready to speak to their neighbor, family member, co-worker, or friend, and ask, “What are you prepared to do, to hold your congressman or woman responsible?”

The congress cannot pass a law unless both houses pass the legislation to begin stripping your rights and the President signs it. Biden has insisted that Obama will soon after receiving the vice president’s report, move to use an executive order to enforce stricter gun control measures. If he does it, demand it be over ridden and demonstrate until it is over ridden!

The Second War of Independence is not when you begin to see the Obama gun control brigade at your door, it begins when you decide to do nothing, and just let it happen.

White House Threatens Executive Order to “Deal with Guns”

While Biden sorts out what the new gun legislation should look like and Sen. Feinstein prepares her ban legislation for release on January 22nd, the President, according to Vice President Biden, may be seeking to act a bit faster.

Any gun ban legislation is likely to be slowly debated in the Senate and outright rejected in the House. With that in mind, the President may seek to unilaterally limit American’s access to firearms and accessories – a move he believes he can make on his own through an Executive Order (EO).

The EO could include just about anything the President desires and Attorney General Eric Holder is likely to enforce it as if it is fully-enacted law. Both the President and Holder have voiced idelogically-based anti-gun rights positions and could have the ATF regulate out any firearms and/or accessories the President feels are not for public consumption.

While constitutional challenges will erupt from several states, it’s a lengthy process during which Congress may then enact legislation to codify the EO and pass into law.

The recent rumblings from Feinstein, Biden and company had already escalated gun purchases to a record level and this is likely to ratchet it up further as the timeline for purchasing some guns probably just got a lot shorter.

NRA Publishes List of Gun Control Advocates

Gun_outlineUnions, celebrities, advocacy groups, writers and newspapers all made the list.

After the Journal News published the names and addresses of more than 33,000 legal handgun permit holders, making families, homes and neighborhoods vulnerable to theft and assault, the National Rifle Association decided to hit back. If the intent of the newspaper was to shame those with gun permits living in their community, the NRA has upped the game by publishing the names of gun control advocates all over the country. Many of the names on the list are companies, organizations and individuals that are guarded by armed security.

Here’s the list.
