As CDNews radio expands its lineup, we wondered, what does it take to make a successful, entertaining show? Well, I remembered an interview I did a few years ago with some great advice for broadcasters. Here is radio broadcast talent Chris Baker, formerly of KTLK FM in Minneapolis with advice for the new broadcast enthusiast. His interview is both enlightening and entertaining. Breitbart TV Editor-In-Chief Larry O’Connor

Breitbart TV Editor-in-Chief and Blog Talk legend Larry O’Connor successfully made the transition from one of the highest rated Internet radio shows to terrestrial radio recently. So, we wondered if that was a future possibility for some of our favorites, like our own Kira Davis for example. Time will tell, so tune in and listen! Conservatives and libertarians are not alone as long as we have great Internet Radio hosts like those on CDNews Radio, available on Blog Talk Radio.

Baker announced he will host the new afternoon drive time for Omaha, Nebraska radio station, 1110 KFAB. His first day as host will be February 11, 2013.

The group was made up of mostly 2008 Obama voters (if I recall correctly, there were maybe 4 in the group who did not vote for Obama), and all but maybe 4 of the previous voters have changed their mind for this election.

One man in particular was quick to point out the foul smell he fell for. During his interview, he caught himself the first time. However, the second time, he wasn’t so mindful of his mouth, and his true feelings spilled out on live TV!

 I was listening to him on the Sean Hannity Radio Show today and it reminded me of why I rarely listen to that political hack (www.mediaite.com).  Rep. Akin explained himself, AGAIN, and said he was staying in the race.  Hack Hannity complains daily about the double standard in the media yet he is the first one to dive into the double standard, urging Akin to get out because he will “hurt the Republican Party”.  Hack Hannity must have “suggested” he step aside a dozen times in the few minutes Akin was on the radio.  How does one whine about a double standard and then jump right into the middle of that same double standard?  Isn’t that being a bit hypocritical?

Republican National  Committee chairman Reince Preibus and a whole bunch of former Missouri “moderate” RINO cowards are urging Akin to get out and let someone else run against Claire McCaskill, one of the most liberal of senators and an Obama doormat.  I heard today on the Hannity hack show that the “moderate” Mitt Romney is also urging Akin to step aside, “for the good of the party”.  What a bunch of slap fighting sissies!!! 

The reason Republicans can’t win is people like me are fed up with the cowardly actions of the party establishment.  Every time some liberal hollers boo they go hide under their beds and cry for their mommy.  Akin is a staunch supporter of the FairTax, has voted against all of the big spending Democrat legislation, voted no on raising the debt ceiling (http://akin.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1641&Itemid=88), against the wishes of John Boehner and the other RINO’s in the party, and has voted against the party leadership on many other occasions because he values principal over politics.  AHA!!! I think I just struck on the problem Akin has today.  He actually shows honor, integrity, and backbone so he must be thrown to the wolves by the cowards of the party establishment.

I have said before, and I will repeat here, that I have more respect for Harry Reid, Dingy Harry Reid, than I do for John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and a host of others in the Republican Party.  Harry Reid will stand up in your face and say “SCREW YOU!!!“ when he has a different opinion.  Republicans, on the other hand, cower and beg for someone to let them do a little bit of what they want to do.  Reid has refused to pass a budget for 3 years because John Boehner doesn’t have enough backbone to force the issue.  Boehner the traitor passes one Continuing Resolution after another to keep Harry Reid, and fellow Republicans, from being forced to take a vote on a budget.  Boehner doesn’t want the budget “to be an issue right before an election”.  So much for the resolve needed to solve the financial problems of our nation. He will let Democrats go right on spending like there is no tomorrow because he doesn’t have the courage to take a stand.  And we ousted Pelosi for this wimp?  I don’t see a gain here.  The spending hasn’t dropped one iota since Boehner took over the speakership, and Akin is the one who is destroying voter confidence in the Republican Party?  I don’t think so!!

 And now to Mitty the Poo Romney.  I never thought he was the one America needs, until he picked Paul Ryan for his VP choice.  Finally, I thought, Mitty actually found a spine.  Then today comes and he is back to his cowardly “moderate” ways of throwing anything or anyone conservative to the wolves (http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/08/21/Romney-Calls-For-Akin-To-Step-Down). 

I have lived for 24 years with the “vote for this guy and we will get a conservative next election cycle” story.  It isn’t going to happen as long as We the People rely on the Progressive Republican Party to represent our conservative views.  Conservatism gets hammered by Republicans every time it sticks its head up.  Once again we see the lack of backbone that has kept Democrats in power, for the most part, over the last 60 years.  I saw this in 2010 when Charles Thompson, a staunch Constitutional Conservative, was running for the Oklahoma 2^nd Congressional seat held by Democrat Dan Boren.  Charles refused to sell We the People out for his own benefit and the RNC refused to help him at all.  Charles lost the election by about 6% in a race that had not been closer than a 70%-30% split since Tom Coburn left for the Senate.  This is the attitude of the Republican establishment towards conservatives.

As long as we conservative voters rely on meeley mouthed cowards to represent us we will never solve the problems facing our nation.  Republicans have been a huge part of the problem because they lack the courage and the integrity to stand up for what they say they believe in.  They are real good at criticizing and back seat driving but they lack the fortitude to govern responsibly.

I was told a few weeks ago that there is no place for me in the Republican Party because I am critical of Mitty the Poo and the Republican establishment. I was told I need to either get behind the establishment totally or get out of the Republican Party and go Independent.  I told this person that I am exactly what the Republican Party needs, a person with the courage to stand up and tell Dingy Harry “SCREW YOU!!! we will do it right and bury you under public support”.  Maybe the man was right; maybe there isn’t a place in the Republican Party for a conservative with the backbone to stand up and speak boldly for true conservatism.  Courage and straight talk doesn’t seem to be appreciated in the Republican Party, nor does there seem to be a place for forgiveness.

 I say “crapola” on this hurting the Republican Party.  To me Akin’s show of repentance, courage, and the resolve to fight through this is refreshing.  I want to see men and women who will stand up for America and conservative values.  We the People need men and women who we can count on to stand up for us.  Look at what the establishment has done to Michele Bachman over the Muslim Brotherhood thing.  She and a few, a very few, others stand up for liberty and our way of life, and look what happens.  These same “moderates” that now throw Todd Akin under the bus castigated Bachmann for having the temerity to care about American values, American ideals, and the liberty guaranteed by the Constitution.

It is time for the Republican Party to show We the People they deserve our votes.  This whining about a “double standard in the media” just doesn’t cut it any longer, especially when they participate in such behavior themselves.  It is time to go out and find a spine.  Mitt Romney is worth hundreds of millions of dollars.  Why not spend some of that money on spines for all of the establishment elites of the party and give We the People, the conservative people, something to hang our hats on.  If they can’t stand with us now they don’t deserve our votes in November. 

Todd Akin is the sacrificial lamb Republicans will use to explain away any losses, just as Sarah Palin was McCain’s scapegoat in 2008.  America is going down the tubes to dictatorship because Republicans either don’t have the courage to change our path or they are complicit and desire to see a Third World toilet dictatorship established here.  Which is it Republican Party establishment?

Bob Beckel wasn’t being very gentlemanly when he appeared on Hannity’s Great American Panel last night. He dropped a major F-bomb live on the air, and refused to apologize.

Update: Unbeknownst to me, there is another video, as so accurately pointed out my gracious colleague, that does show Bob Beckel apologizing. Please see the 2nd video at this link, where, as Mediaite points out, Bob Beckel refused to believe he was on air when he said what he said, but he does eventually apologize.

Unlike what my colleague would have you believe in his post, never once did I refuse to correct my original post; at the time of my post I had not seen the Mediate update, nor did I see the update at The Blaze.

I still stand by my original statement that it was quite ungentlemanly of Mr. Beckel, and it was only after he finally realized he was on air that he apologized. So, as Paul Harvey used to say, that’s the “rest of the story”- the real truth!

Thinking the show was still on commercial break, he told Jennifer Stefano that she did not know what the <blank> she was talking about.

A lot of websites have been spinning this in a way that looks like Bob did not apologize for using the curse word, but if you watch the video in this link, you will see that he did, in fact, apologize once he realized that he had said the word on air.  A warning though, it contains the F-bomb, and as such, is not very safe for work.

We know that Obama Sr. was a Kenyan, and therefore a citizen of Great Britain. Article 2, Section 1, Paragraph 5 states that to be president a person must be a “natural born citizen” of the United States of America. The Naturalization Act of 1790, and an 1875 Supreme Court decision, Minor vs. Happersett (88 US 162) define the term “Natural Born Citizen”. There are other cases that have discussed this issue and have come down on the side of Obama not being eligible to hold the office of President of the United States.

A recent Georgia case was decided in Obama’s favor despite the fact that neither Obama nor his lawyer showed up, ignoring a lawful subpoena. The Judge, Michael Malihi, told the plaintiffs’ lawyers he would render a default judgment in their favor due to Obama snubbing the subpoena. But when all was said and done Malihi used a minor court decision from Indiana to find in Obama’s favor, totally ignoring an act of Congress, the Naturalization Act of 1790; and a Supreme Court decision, Minor vs. Happersett. This decision is being appealed and many wonder what happened to change the judge’s mind in only 6 days. What made this judge totally reverse course in such a short time when he had ample evidence to support a finding of “ineligible” and no evidence to refute the case presented by the plaintiffs? Was he paid off? Was he threatened? No one knows why the decision came down the way it did under the circumstances. I wrote about it at the time from the perspective that our republic is no more.

As I see this from a non-lawyer perspective I see coercion of some sort. Naturally I can’t prove anything, but when I look at all the facts at my disposal I can’t come to any other conclusion. I look at this and then think about Limbaugh, Hannity, Boortz, Levin, O’Reilly, Coulter, and all the other conservative pundits taking a pass on this issue. It makes me ask, “Why will they not even talk about this issue, other than ridiculing those who address Obama’s eligibility”?

What is there that prevents the biggest radio audience in the nation, and maybe beyond our borders from hearing Rush confront this issue head on? Why is it that the most powerful voice in media won’t touch the most important issue of our day? As painful as it is for me to admit, I find myself wondering why Limbaugh and the others, but especially Rush, take the same stand as MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, and the rest of the “main stream media”. Rush is brilliant, and I thought fearless for the cause of liberty, but his silence on this makes me wonder.

I figure Rush and the rest are aware of the situation because I cannot imagine this is unknown to any media person anywhere, and certainly cannot possibly escape a man of Rush’s abilities. I know all about it and I am not a media professional by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t get paid to find out about news stories. I do it because I care about my country, the Constitution, and the future of my grandchildren. I am not saying Rush and the others don’t care about America, but it makes me wonder where their priorities are when they can ignore the most important story of the last 50 years.

If Rush really thinks Obama is so dangerous and wants him out of office so bad why isn’t he raising this issue on a daily basis? Is he concerned about the reaction from Obama’s FCC? Does he fear the “Fairness Doctrine”? Is he concerned about the reaction of his advertisers? We saw Glenn Beck get booted off of FOX News for his reporting of the truth about Islam and the nuts who follow that pagan cult. Now we have seen Judge Andrew Napolitano get booted for hard hitting reporting on issues not to the liking of the Saudi Prince who owns 7% of FOX, and George Soros who also has his hands in the till there. Is Obama involved in Judge Napolitano’s dismissal also?

We the People only have so many resources to solve these issues. We can’t depend on the main stream media because everyone knows the leftist media is determined to destroy this nation, whatever it takes. When we can’t depend on the “conservative” media to stand in the gap, where do we go?

Allen West said, when questioned about the Obama eligibility issue, that it is “political suicide” for any politician to confront it. That tells me all I need to know about the courage of politicians, including Allen West. The only candidate running for any office that will take this on is John Dummett, a very dark horse candidate for the Republican Party presidential nomination. Dummett has a lawsuit to be heard in Tennessee on February 24, 2012. Dummett also has lawsuits pending in several other states and  in federal court in Arizona. If we had others candidates like Dummett, with the courage to stand for freedom first and a political career second, our nation would not be in the throes of death right now.

Rush Limbaugh, with the biggest audience in any form of media, could force the cowards in Congress to confront this issue if he would. Rush, along with others like Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Neal Boortz could bring this to a boiling point but they won’t. WHY??????

First, the FCC led by another Obama appointed Czar named Mark LLoyd*   Who just  happens to be another radical along the lines of one self-avowed Communist Van Jones, will attempt to shorten the radio license period from the now required renewal of 8 years, to requiring re-licensingevery 4 years. This would give the radical progressives under LLoyd’s direction life and death decision-making powers over all radio stations before the people get rid of Obama and all of his appointed radical cronies. Time is of the essence here, and they know it. These types of actions have been commonplace from within the Obama administration and his radical lapdogs for the entire time he has been in office. They are trying to make Congress powerless, and to an extent they already have. These radicals are not elected by the people, therefore have no authority to create laws that support their progressive agenda of stifling any opposition to their Socialist utopian ideology.

Next up in the FCC”s game-plan to stop Americans from speaking up against their agenda is in requiring all radio stations to produce 25% of their programming locally.  This would make it economically impossible for stations to be broadcast nationwide for free, therefore shutting a number of them down. Talk radio listeners have every right to listen to the station of their choice, regardless of what Mr. Lloyd’s Socialistic wishes are in this situation. keep in mind that while all of this is going on, NPR and PBS suck off millions of taxpayer dollars to basically promote the Democratic agenda  on a yearly basis. The wife of  Democratic Senator Jay Rockefeller,  Sharon Percy Rockefeller, is CEO at WETA, the Washington DC PBS affiliate, and her compensation for 2009  was a very capitalistic $447,166.00. Her husband votes and lobbies for funding for PBS, a direct conflict of interest that is illegal at its base. So anyone trying to say PBS and NPR aren’t politically biased towards Democrats, needs to see that documented reality check I just laid down there. Why would the taxpayers allow the wife of a Democratic Senator, who also happens to already be filthy rich, bilk the taxpayers for a salary larger than the President of the United States?

The last set of  illegal plans coming out of the FCC and the radical FCC czar Mark Lloyd to shut down free speech in talk radio seem to come right out of Obama’s fake social justice scams using the very same community organizing scheme that allowed him to lie his way into the White-house in 2008.  The FCC wants to establish “Community Advisory Boards” to report on whether the radio stations are “satisfying the needs of the community.”  More illegally appointed “advisors” would be given the authority to provide the basis for denying radio broadcasting licenses to anyone who doesn’t agree with the Liberal agenda, and of course the Democratic Party that they have heavily infested today.

To top the agenda off, the FCC wants the power to fine stations for failing to “comply with the community advisory boards” with the fines being paid directly to the FCC ! This would be the final piece in making Liberal ideology the de-facto law in radio broadcasting across the land! In a country where the radical Liberals already control the Main Stream media which receive their talking points memo’s from the Obama administration Liberal Democratic propaganda operatives, the censoring and financial threats to free speech and talk radio represent a very clear and present danger to America today. The FCC must be stripped of this false, self-appointed authority today, whether it takes de-funding them, or deleting this tyrannical band of radical misfits program all together.

Congress needs to get on this situation and do it today, instead of letting it sneak by while the Liberals put up the distraction of the phony budget debate that is going on now.
