Okay! May As Well Bring On Another Clown

“I stand before you today as a disciplined, conservative Texan, a committed Republican and a proud American, united with you in the desire to restore our nation and revive the American dream,”

Holy Cow Rick! No kiddin’? A disciplined, conservativeTexan! I think not. Be still my hyperventilating cardiac event!!!

Rick Perry???!!!…,…the same Rick Perry who endorsed and supported America’s Mayor Rudy Guiliani, a sometimes Republican, sometimes Democrat, in 2008?

On immigration, a critical isue founded upon our sovereign right as a nation to establish and protect OUR OWN BORDERS.., he’s a RINO populist  (That would define him as a politician, NOT a statesman).

recently revived a bill that would crackdown on so-called “sanctuary” cities — localities where the government prohibits police officers from asking about the immigration status of legally detained residents.

Perry, it seems, knows which way the wind is blowing: His immigration stance is a 180-degree turn from his criticisms of Arizona’s draconian immigration law SB-1070 last year. At the time, he questioned the law, saying, “Some aspects of the law turn law enforcement officers into immigration officials by requiring them to determine immigration status during any lawful contact with a suspected alien, taking them away from their existing law enforcement duties, which are critical to keeping citizens safe.”

Considering that Perry also signed the Texas DREAM Act into law in 2001 — a precursor to the national bill that’s been struggling for congressional support — his movement to the right is quite the contrast. In a statement to the conservative Washington Times, Perry now says, “We need to, as a country, address border security before we tackle any immigration issues.”

On education for ILLEGAL aliens, in May of 2001, the then Governor Perry signed House Bill 1403, lovingly embraced by the left then as the Texas DREAM Act. This legislation allowed illegal aliens who graduate from a Texas public high school to attend a Texas college at the in state tuition rate.

Section 54.057(a); SECTION 5. Section 54.060(b),; SECTION 6. Sections 1 through 5 and Section 7 of the Texas Education Code

On an education roll he starts off his remarks, long-winded that they were, to the Southwest Voter Registration Education Project (that would be cutresy-speak for the Latino Voter Registration Education Project) as the clown confirms by his titular description of Cisneros, the ex-Clintonista Wandering Penis Poster-boy, on Friday, June 22, 2001 as follows:

Thank you Antonio. Mayor Garza, Latino Vote 2001 Chairman Henry Cisneros, fellow elected officials, friends in San Antonio. It is my great honor to be with you this evening. Before I begin, let me introduce someone very special to me. She spent 17 years as a nurse providing health care to those in need. Just a few weeks ago, the University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center named her a Distinguished Alumni and created a nursing school endowment in her name. She’s the mother of two great children, and the first girl I ever had a date with. Please welcome my wife and a great First Lady for the State of Texas, Anita Perry.

My fellow citizens, the face of Texas is changing, and tonight, as I look out into this audience, I see many of the faces that represent that change. The Texas of tomorrow is in this room today, a Texas of boundless energy and fresh ideas, a Texas committed to safe communities and good schools, a Texas that is more and more diverse with each passing day. For Texas to prosper beyond our own time on this earth, there are things we must embrace now. We must embrace our growing diversity as a source of strength and cultural enrichment, not a source of division. We must welcome more Texans of differing backgrounds to the table of ideas, and to positions of leadership. And we must stand united behind an agenda of opportunity for every citizen regardless of their financial means, or the sound of their last name. We do have differences, but there is more that unites us as Texans than could ever divide us. Who among us does not yearn to be successful and to live the American Dream? Who among us is not worthy of a good education, and a future as bold and vivid as our capacity to dream? Who among us does not long for a Texas where our children can thrive, and accomplish things greater than ourselves? Yes, we may be Hispanic, African‑American, Native American, Asian and Anglo, but we are all Texans, and we are united in our common humanity.

Note: It went on similarly, ad nauseum, as he stroked the audience with the keywords of RINO dumming-down and borrowed demonRATIc “target group” strategy. He did fail to note the difference between illegals and legals being embraced in the name of growing diversity. A finger-in-the-wind POPULIST ALL THE WAY.

On Little Georgie-boy Bush’s SHAMNESTY…Governor Perry issued this press release (of which I’ll only bore you with an opening excerpt only, on Wednesday, January 07, 2004 :

“During my visit with President Fox last November, I reaffirmed my support for a guest worker program that balances our two countries’ economic realities along with the need for homeland security. President Bush’s proposal reflects those goals.“As a former governor of this state, President Bush understands well the huge impact that immigration has on Texas, ..

Source: http://governor.state.tx.us/news/press-release/4310/

Note: Again no mention of any distinction between leagl and illegal is ever made as te wind blew on.

In December of 2006, Governor Perry…sensing a shifting in the winds in Texas attitude building against illegals  he released a press statement noting his views on securing the border. He states that he opposes amnesty for illegal aliens as it rewards illegal behavior, but that he opposes enforcement of US laws through deportation OR EVEN punishment for those who violate the laws as that would harm the US economy. Do you see what he did? He split the issue into what could be operceived as two EXTREMES and why? So he can jump right in the midddle and bullsh*t you that his position is a true compromise, which it is not. !The CLASSIC finger-in-the-wind politician at work, the root cause for much of our problems now comes to the fore and he proposes a guest worker program to allow those here illegally to continue that work on a legal basis but without citizenship. Of coiurse, because he knows that conveying them citizenship can be done by SEPARATE LEGISLATION. It’s the old fast-shuffle to confuse you…THE VOTER.

Then in August of 2007 in blistering heat our hero ventures forth to hump for legalizing illegals, SHAMNESTY REVISITED! ON the OTHER SIDE of the Texas border. How about them apples?

MEXICO CITY — Leading a large delegation of Texas executives trying to drum up business in Mexico, Gov. Rick Perry on Tuesday criticized the U.S. Congress for failing to pass an immigration bill that would legalize millions of workers.

“I don’t think this is that difficult an issue if Congress would have the maturity to sit down and really discuss it and cut out all the mean rhetoric,” Perry said during a break in the third day of meetings with Mexican officials and business executives.

“We need those individuals to continue to grow our economy,” he said of Texas’ undocumented workers, most of whom hail from Mexico. “The vast, vast majority of those individuals want to come and work and take care of their families.”

Perry made the remarks in Mexico City, where immigration is nearly as big a hot-button issue as it is in Washington. He spoke at a press conference shortly before meeting with President Felipe Calderon who, like past Mexican presidents, has lobbied for changes in U.S. immigration law that would include a guest-worker program.

Perry’s statements seemed to put him at odds with many in the Republican Party’s base who regarded the immigration overhaul bill that collapsed in the Senate in June as nothing more than an amnesty for illegal immigrants.

I could go on with many other positions, but at this critical time Rick Perry is NOT the conservative we need to wrest leadership of the Republican Party from those like him who would piece-by-piece sell us all down the river. I still back Bachmann.

You May Need to Vote for a RINO

Ross PerotTo save the country, you may have no choice but to vote for a RINO – or more realistically – a moderate Republican. Even more important – you have ability to keep it from coming to that.

The primaries start in February so the current polls showing Romney leading the pack are going to change. Whether or not Romney falls is yet to be seen, but the polling statistics will change.

The primary vote is where you get to be slective – pick a Romney, Bachmann, Huntsman (really?), Paul .. whoever. If you don’t vote in the primaries, don’t complain about who goes up against Obama and certainly don’t sit at home and sulk. Either be active during the primary season or be prepared to support whoever wins – inaction has consequences.

Once the general election starts, you have one choice – the GOP nominee. You could choose to support whatever moronic candidate decides to come back in as a third party candidate. There is historical precedence for that – its big-eared name was H. Ross Perot. In a failed third party bid, he not only didn’t get himself elected, he actually caused the loss of the right-of-center candidate.

If you love your Ron Paul, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump so much .. get them nominated. Go get your grass-roots effort in-motion so that they might take the primaries. If they lose .. buck up and take one for the country.

Vote your conscience in the primaries and be prepared to swallow your pride in the general election. If you don’t, what will four more years of Obama look like?

  • Obamacare will be fully implemented
  • QE3 and perhaps QE4 (AKA stimulus 2 and 3) will be complete
  • The Senate will ratify the U.N. treaty on personal arms (guns) and he will sign
  • Unions will continue to run our government and run our employers out of the country
  • Education will continue to be run by big labor
  • Your kids will be left with a bill they can NOT pay

It’s time to be the parent and/or patriot. Swallow your pride and realize that either you got off your butt and got your candidate nominated or that someone else did. If your candidate does not take the nomination, do NOT take it out on OUR country. Obama must go, we must take the Senate – plain and simple.

It is understandable that we all pick the perfect candidate as the primaries come closer. There will not be general agreement on who should take that spot – that is precisely why primaries are held. Use that mechanism to voice your opinion about one Republican candidate or another. Once the primaries are over – it’s time to understand the real decision in front of you. Do you have the will to drop your pride and decide that having a good candidate is better than losing the election while hoping for a perfect one? Can you vote for someone that at least approaches your beliefs – or will you sacrifice the country just to show that you and 8% of the electorate voted for your favorite candidate?

If you aren’t active in the primaries, you may just have to vote for a RINO – no way to soften the blow.

House GOP Enables Union Control of Federal Contracts

This week the Republican controlled U.S. House of Representatives had 27 defections to side with Democratic Union buddies on a crucial vote on H.R. 2055, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies  Appropriations Act. The vote concerned amendment H 411, which was introduced by Steven LaTourette (R-OH) to strike section 415 of the bill. Amendment 411 passed by a total of  204-203. This amendment effectively forces government contractors to use Union labor on all federal construction projects. Silly me, and here I thought Speaker Boehner and our (supposed) watchdogs of the taxpayer’s purse in the House Republican majority were going to cut spending and work to save the taxpayers money every chance they get. Forcing Union labor for government taxpayer funded projects is just the opposite of what we voted for in the 2010 elections, as this always leads to huge increases in project costs and prohibits the very competition that would ensure the taxpayers get the most bang for the buck. Shame on Speaker Boehner, and the 27 House Republicans who voted to climb in bed with big labor unions and the Liberal Democrats once again. Two of these “progressive” Republicans come from my state of Florida and will be hearing from me tomorrow. Are any of your turncoat Republican representatives on the following list of those who voted for this amendment:

Aye AK-0 Young, Donald [R]
Aye FL-18 Ros-Lehtinen, Ileana [R]
Aye FL-21 Diaz-Balart, Mario [R]
Aye IL-6 Roskam, Peter [R]
Aye IL-8 Walsh, Joe [R]
Aye IL-10 Dold, Bob [R]
Aye IL-13 Biggert, Judy [R]
Aye IL-15 Johnson, Timothy [R]
Aye IL-18 Schock, Aaron [R]
Aye KY-1 Whitfield, Edward [R]
Aye MI-11 McCotter, Thaddeus [R]
Aye MO-8 Emerson, Jo Ann [R]
Aye NC-13 Miller, R. [D]
Aye NJ-2 LoBiondo, Frank [R]
Aye NJ-3 Runyan, Jon [R]
Aye NJ-4 Smith, Christopher [R]
Aye NJ-7 Lance, Leonard [R]
Aye NY-13 Grimm, Michael [R]
Aye NY-19 Hayworth, Nan [R]
Aye OH-2 Schmidt, Jean [R]
Aye OH-3 Turner, Michael [R]
Aye OH-14 LaTourette, Steven [R]
Aye PA-18 Murphy, Tim [R]
Aye TX-6 Barton, Joe [R]
Aye WA-8 Reichert, Dave [R]
Aye WV-1 McKinley, David [R]
Aye WI-6 Petri, Thomas [R]

Also of note is the fact that no less than 10 Republicans either chose not to vote, or were not able to vote because they were not in the House during this vote:

Not Voting GA-10 Broun, Paul [R]
Not Voting IL-19 Shimkus, John [R]
Not Voting IN-4 Rokita, Todd [R]
Not Voting IA-5 King, Steve [R]
Not Voting MI-2 Huizenga, Bill [R]
Not Voting MN-6 Bachmann, Michele [R]
Not Voting OH-15 Stivers, Steve [R]
Not Voting TX-3 Johnson, Samuel [R]
Not Voting TX-8 Brady, Kevin [R]
Not Voting TX-14 Paul, Ronald [R]

I included the reps links here just in case anyone is concerned about the lack of leadership we see here from the Republicans who are supposed to be trying to cut back on spending as they promised when we gave them the house majority, and want to call them up. Forced Union labor has been proven to increase costs drastically in these projects. This is precisely how, while we are looking the other way, our Republicans vote with Liberal, union-owned Democrats to screw the taxpayers. Every single one of these fake conservatives needs to be voted out in 2012, no excuses. Pass this information around to everyone concerned with the wrong direction  America is heading in today. Unions are Democratic vote for taxpayers dollars machines. Voting for this amendment will further empower Unions and Democrats and make restoring fiscal sanity that much more difficult. Pay attention folks.

Conservative Hasner vs Charlie Crist re-do, Liberal George Lemieux for U.S. Senate Seat

Senator Bill Nelson ( D-Fl) is widely viewed today as too much of a far left Liberal across my State of Florida, and the battle for his U.S. Senate seat is already underway big-time. In one corner we have Charlie Crist re-make current Senator George LeMieux who has done nothing more than act like a liberal in his short time in the U.S. Senate. Also of note is the fact that George LeMieux was appointed to fill the Senate seat vacated by Mel Martinez by none other than…. Charlie Crist! LeMieux was also Crist’s chief of staff before Crist gave him his current U.S..Senate seat in 2009. We got rid of the flaky Charlie Crist in 2010, and now it’s time to get rid of his Liberal protege’ George LeMieux once and for all. Among other things pointing to LeMieex’s love for bigger bloated government regulations, was his vote for the Food Safety Bill, formally known as the Food Safety Modernization Act.

The price tag for that big government expansion and control of Americans lives is so huge that they haven’t even been able to put a total price tag on it. Every U.S. Senator who voted for this scam needs to be fired in 2012, period! The list of progressive Republican Senators who voted for this treason is like a who’s who of big government RINOS: S.Collins (R-ME), O. Snowe (R-ME),  M Kirk (R-IN), R.Lugar (R-IN), S.Brown (R- MA), M.Johanns (R- NE), L.Alexander (R- Tenn), M. Enzi (R- WY), L. Murkowski (R-AK), Burr (R-NC),Grassely (R-IA), Gregg (R-NH), Vitter (R-LA), and Voinovich (R-OH), and quite to the contrary on the vote announced over at govtrackus, that somehow has not published George LeMieux’s YES vote along with 5 other YES votes by Liberal fake Republicans,, this site does publish his YES vote. Also from that site is the disturbing fact that this vote was rigged: (Special thanks to Michelle Malkin for keeping us informed on this also.)

Chris Moody at the Daily Caller reports on a hot mic moment of candor caught on the Senate floor:

A hot mic left on during a Senate vote Tuesday morning on the Food Safety Act caught a senator complaining that process of setting the agenda during the lame-duck session is “rigged.”

“It’s all rigged. The whole conversation is rigged,” a currently unknown member on the Senate floor said. “The fact that we don’t get to a discussion before the break about what we’re going to do in the lame duck . It’s just rigged. ”

The remark was picked up live on C-SPAN 2, although microphones are usually turned down during voting times. An aide quickly realized the mistake, jumped up and had the sound cut off.

Adam Hasner, the former State House Majority leader here in Florida, has solid conservative creds, much to the dismay of the D.A.M. and their media puppets ,who have tried in vain to paint Hasner as a moderate flake like George LeMieux. From TheDailyCaller:

Florida-based media consultant Rick Wilson, who has signed on  to  Hasner’s campaign, fired back Friday at LeMieux. “In what comes as  no surprise,  George LeMieux, Charlie Crist’s long time puppet-master, is  back to his old  tricks, trying the same kind of false and deceptive  attacks that failed when  LeMieux attacked Marco Rubio.”  “George  LeMieux is desperate to hide the fact he is a lifelong liberal   disguised as a Republican,” Wilson added. “He is as hypocritical as he is  vicious and untruthful. Adam Hasner’s conservative voting record speaks for itself, as does George  LeMieux’s continued role as the  successor to the Charlie Crist legacy.

The U.S. Senate elections of 2012 are of vital importance, so pay attention to the Liberal progressives hiding within the Republican party mentioned above and vote them out in 2012 ! Here in Florida both Bill nelson and George LeMieux are prime examples of why our government has grown so big and powerful that we are now on the verge of bankruptcy here in America. Future generations of Americans will be burdened with the weight of this massive debt being brought onto them by these irresponsible politicians. Take note of them and vote accordingly!

According to InsureBlog** HR525 is explained as follows:

“And what, you may ask, does this have to do with ObamaCare©?  Glad you asked.

It seems that, when they were “passing the bill so that they (and we) could see what’s in it,” they inadvertently forgot to include funding to increase the “Public Health Workforce Loan Repayment Program” (aka Title V of Section 5204) of ObamaCare©.”

And of course the AVMA (American Veternarian Medical Association)  lauds it like this:

“HR 525 will help expand the veterinary public health workforce by offering veterinary school loan repayment for veterinarians who commit to serve in a federal, state, local, or tribal public health agency or who engage in a related training fellowship. ..” (emphasis mine)

So there you have it folks, more tax dollars going to more people, as long as they agree to serve…… your big. bloated government, which just happens to be teetering on the brink of bankruptcy.  Just how would that be considered to be cutting back on big government, as our GOP leaders promised us when asking for the people’s trust once again in the 2010 elections ?

Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see that while the RINOS and Globalists in Congress have voted to expand Obamacare funding and create another big government expansion, while going on TV every day and stating that they want to defund it?  Call them up and give every one of them hell for being liars!

It’s RINO Season!

The World Wildlife Federation just released a report that claimed, in a worst-case scenario, tigers could be extinct in as few as 12 years from now. If we are lucky the same thing will happen to RINOs – The two-legged kind.

RINO Season! We’re off to a good start. A recent report from the field in Pennsylvania, once a RINO stronghold, indicates that an eastern breed of this creature, the Arlenisouras Spectricidious was brought down with a single shot by a local hunter named Pat Toomey. According to Toomey, Arlenisouras Spectricidious has unusual DNA that allowed this RINO to literally change its spots. Not only that, claims Toomey, this RINO also had the unusual ability to toot its own horn. But wait, there’s more! Bird watchers near Pittsburgh report that something fowl was up early one morning a number of months ago. They claim that they actually caught a glimpse of Arlenisouras Spectricidious mating with a Jackass! That’s right; somehow this hideous creature successfully did the deed with a Donkey!

Meanwhile, up the road in Delaware, comes the odd odor of another variant of RINO that went down without so much as a whimper. Mike Castle, a RINO of legendary waffleness, was so old that his Social Security Number was 14. And yet, despite this old RINO’s street smarts, he got out maneuvered by a rookie, once again, on a first shot. Word on the street was that Castle was so depressed that he started yelling “steam shovel!” every time he spotted a backhoe. Martha’s nursing home and tofu factory reports that Castle is currently on life support. His veterinarian, citing medical privacy laws, wouldn’t comment on Castle’s exact malady, but did let it slip that he doesn’t expect Castle to live much past the coming lame duck session of Congress.

It is the same story out West. In Utah, little Bobby Bennett had to take his ball and go home. That’s right, singular. And in Alaska, Lisa MadCowSki is putting up a fight, but the slaughterhouse still intends on turning her into chicken-fried steak on November 2, 2012. They expect to make a profit on her too, considering all the bull she is tossing about. They say it is kind of like chumming for trout, but with a bigger hook…and a couple of paper bags to put over the head. Those two-baggers can make a grown man gag.

Down South there has been a reported sighting of an orange RINO. Charles Darwin would be astonished if he had ever seen the Charlie Crist RINO. It actually evolved from an elephant, got rejected by a Donkey (“not tonight, Charlie, I have a headache”) and is currently on life-support as it goes, kicking and screaming, into that blessed night.

Sliding along to Louisiana, the swamp creature, formerly known as Joseph Cao, is starving to death. It seems he has no cash to finish his campaign – rejected both by Obama and the Republicans. So he wrote directly to the voters: “No Mon, No Fun, Your son.” “Too bad, so sad, your Dad”, replied the Congressional Republicans. So it appears Swamp Creature is going to sink into the muck, never to be seen again.

There are more examples, but you are getting the idea. RINOs are currently on the endangered list, right in between head lice and the giant ground sloth. It is expected that there will be a wholesale slaughter of RINOs in the midterm elections. Voters will recognize them by their hanging chads. Oh, and like the used camel salesman once said, “One hump or two?”

The RINO John McCainBut don’t count the RINOs out quite yet. We have it on good authority that John McCain is alive, well, and polishing his horn. And Orrin Hatch, who claims membership in the Tea Party despite voting to seat Cass Sunstein as a czar, still infects Utah. RINOs aren’t all dead yet. It is going to take several hunting seasons to get their population down to a manageable number. But hope springs eternal. There are now millions of avid hunters. Their prey is slow-moving. The odds are that even more will be bagged in 2012. With a little luck, RINOs will join tigers in the great beyond. Stay tuned, and listen for the horn.

Olympia Snowe May Yet Give Democrats Their Super-Majority

Politico.com reports that Olympia Snowe (RINO-Maine) is letting Reid’s insulting comments on her go and she might yet continue to support the liberal agenda.  Maine, seriously, it’s time to go Massachusetts her.

Speaking with reporters in the Capitol Wednesday, Snowe said she has yet to speak with Reid regarding his critical comments in The New York Times last week. In the article, the Nevada Democrat is critical of the bipartisan talks that failed in the Senate over health care, and Reid says of Snowe: “As I look back it was a waste of time dealing with her because she had no intention of ever working anything out.”

To which Snowe answered:
“I can’t account for why he said what he said,” Snowe said. “I keep working moving forward on all the issues that matter.”
Of course, it’s fine to insult a fellow Senator, it’s ok for Reid to dish out racist comments, it’s just ok for Reid to do anything.  Snowe deciding that this behavior is allowable may signal her willingness to be the one Republican to cross the isle.  Is her retirement plan finalized?
