<p>Virginia’s Lt. Governor Bill Bolling is going to have to lose a considerable amount of weight and drastically increase his time on the tanning bed to physically resemble Charlie Crist, but Bolling’s ideological transformation is coming along nicely.</p>
<p>For those who don’t follow Florida politics, Charlie Crist is the former Republican governor who intended to be the state’s new US senator in 2010. When Crist announced he was well known and could raise money — music to establishment Republican ears. Crist was immediately endorsed by the National Republican Senatorial Committee in an effort intimidate potential primary competition.</p>
<p>Life was good! Crist had essentially been handed the nomination. Time to order some staffer to start measuring for new drapes in his senate office. Except Marco Rubio decided to enter the race. Rubio had everything going against him but the voters.</p>
<p>Crist wasn’t worried at first. But as the campaign continued, FL voters decided Crist was too cozy with Obama and lacked conservative commitment. Rubio won the primary and in a fit of pique, Crist changed his registration to Independent and ran as a spoiler.</p>
<p>Rubio beat him and the Democrat both.</p>
<p>Really angry and wanting to “lash out” (thank goodness there weren’t any “assault rifles” handy!), Crist endorsed Obama in 2012. And he just made the news by changing his party affiliation to Democrat. Proving Republican voters were correct all along.</p>
<p>Bolling’s situation is quite similar. In 2009 he was in his first term and Bob McDonnell was the Attorney General. Both wanted to run for governor, but Bolling didn’t want a fight — something that appears to be characteristic. As Pope Alexander IV divided the world between the Spanish and the Portuguese — McDonnell divided the top Virginia offices between himself and Bolling. McDonnell ran for governor and promised to support Bolling in 2013.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, the nomination is not McDonnell’s to confer. The wealthy may be able to hand political office from relative to relative in Massachusetts, hence the “Kennedy” senate seat, but Virginian’s don’t cotton to inheriting office.</p>
<p>Like the English in Pope Alexander’s time, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli ignored an agreement he was not party to and worked to secure the nomination. He packed the GOP central committee with his supporters. After Cuccinelli announced, the committee changed the nomination process from a primary election to a convention.</p>
<p>At which point Bolling avoided another fight and dropped out in the belief he could not win a convention in which strong grass–roots support is a crucial factor.</p>
<p>Cuccinelli is not without sin in this saga. Ken initially promised voters he would run for re–election, which I thought was an excellent idea. He broke that promise when he announced for governor, but as former Texas Gov. Bill Clements once said in connection with a lie he told, “Well, there never was a Bible in the room.”</p>
<p>Few Republicans are as popular with liberals and their media choir as establishment Republicans defeated by a conservative. All it took for Bolling to become a statesman was for Cuccinelli to run him out of the primary. Now he is another unfortunate establishment moderate who — according to the media — is the best general election candidate. Unfortunately he can’t win a primary dominated by the right wing.</p>
<p>What’s wrong with mouth–breathing TEA party types? Didn’t they see how successful Republicans were with John McCain, George Allen and Mitt Romney?</p>
<p>Predictably, Bolling is now “growing in office” as he starts emerging from his “Cristsalis.” Bolling has come out and opposed uranium mining in Virginia because he agrees with “environmentalists” that it will create a hole in the ground. After the Newtown elementary school shooting, Bolling broke with McDonnell and opposed even researching the possibility of arming school staff. And Bolling warns he will be an “independent voice” during the 2013 gubernatorial campaign.</p>
<p>All that’s left for Bolling is to “evolve” his views on homosexual marriage and schedule a big hug photo op with Obama. Then he’s free to enter the race as an independent and undermine Cuccinelli’s candidacy.</p>
<p>Only Bolling won’t really be running as an Independent. He’ll be running as a Petulant. Nothing prevented Bolling from putting his supporters on the central committee. He wasted eight years instead of building a strong grass–roots organization. Bolling’s problem isn’t Cuccinelli or conservatives; it’s inertia.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Explaining his endorsement of the current White House occupant on the administration’s infrastructure spending, healthcare reform, and <a href="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/2012/08/america-needs-the-tea-party-more-than-america-needs-the-gop/rino_logo_sq-2/" rel="attachment wp-att-65822"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-65822" title="rino_logo_sq" src="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/rino_logo_sq1-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>position on abortion, Florida’s former Republican Governor Charlie Crist endorsed him on the eve of the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa.</p>
<p>Crist has betrayed American taxpayers before.  He supported the $787 billion “stimulus” boondoggle, which did little to fund shovel ready infrastructure projects but went a long way towards rewarding big “progressive” 2008 presidential campaign bundlers who “just happened” to run “green energy” companies with lucrative loan guarantees and grants.  It also bailed out state and local governments guilty of practicing irresponsible fiscal policies for decades, especially where spending on government sector union contracts was concerned.  It was no accident that the lion’s share of “stimulus” spending “just happened” to have gone to “blue states”.   Crist’s decision to support the highly partisan, pork stuffed “stimulus” bill helped get the monstrous waste of money through Congress.</p>
<p>“Moderate Republican” go-along to get-along me-first career politicians who, like Crist are so willing to compromise with the institutionalized “progressive” left cannot be trusted.</p>
<p>Tea Party principles are America’s principles.  To an intolerable degree, “Moderate Republicans” do not believe in or follow Tea Party principles. Quite often they appear to be completely devoid of principles.  They game the political system to gain power and prestige for themselves and themselves alone. They will turn on Americans faster than you can say Specter.</p>
<p>Conservative Tea Party Americans like Allen West, Marco Rubio, Jim DeMint, Pat Toomy, Rand Paul, Ron Johnson Michele Bachmann, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee have the guts to stand against the institutionalized “progressive” left.  They have the willingness, backbone and fortitude to preserve individual liberties, restore the U.S. Constitution, and a return to constitutionally limited government, a balanced budget, equal opportunity and equal protection under the law for all Americans.</p>
<p>Today’s Democratic Party is not your father&#8217;s Democratic Party.  They keep insisting that Tea Party Republicans and their affiliates are &#8220;extreme&#8221;.  Since when are protecting individual liberties, following the U.S. Constitution, having constitutionally limited government <a href="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/2012/08/america-needs-the-tea-party-more-than-america-needs-the-gop/commie-to-progressive-300x266/" rel="attachment wp-att-65818"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-65818" title="commie-to-progressive-300x266" src="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/commie-to-progressive-300x266-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>and a balanced budget extreme?</p>
<p>The Tea Party’s positions are extreme only when seen as standing in the way of establishing an all-powerful, centrally planned big government controlled by a self-appointed oligarchy of self-imagined “intellectual elites” i.e. a Communist state.</p>
<p>The institutionalized &#8220;progressive&#8221; left in 2012 America is acting exactly like every other Communist power grab in history.  They lie, cheat and steal to win elections.  Then they will lie, cheat, steal and kill to consolidate and strengthen their grip on unrestrained power.</p>
<p>The institutionalized &#8220;progressive&#8221; left complains about how &#8220;extreme&#8221; Tea Party Republicans refuse to compromise.  The Tea Party knows that Communists have no interest in compromising with anyone.  The institutionalized &#8220;progressive&#8221; left&#8217;s negotiating position has been, is, and will continue to be: What&#8217;s Yours is Negotiable, What&#8217;s Mine is Not.  Those who hold this negotiating position, when they do finally obtain an iron grip on unrestrained power, do not compromise with their political opposition.  They eliminate them…permanently.</p>
<p>America is at an historic crossroads.  The 2012 election will determine what life in America will be like for the next and following <a href="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/2012/08/america-needs-the-tea-party-more-than-america-needs-the-gop/ronald-reagan-4-2/" rel="attachment wp-att-65823"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-65823" title="Ronald-Reagan-4" src="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Ronald-Reagan-41-150x150.gif" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>generations.</p>
<p>In the words of Ronald W. Reagan, 40th President of the United States of America:</p>
<p>“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn&#8217;t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children&#8217;s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”</p>

<p>This &#8220;headline&#8221; is garbage.</p>
<p>First of all, save for his consistently patriotic support for the United States <a href="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/2012/06/news-flash-lindsey-graham-is-a-top-conservative/grahamlindsey-300x224/" rel="attachment wp-att-57042"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-57042" title="grahamlindsey-300x224" src="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/grahamlindsey-300x224-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>military and for American troops, Senator Lindsey Graham is about as moderate as Republicans come. Some Conservatives might characterize him as a &#8220;progressive&#8221; Republican. Even more may openly label him a RINO. The thought of his being a &#8220;top conservative&#8221; comes from the minds of institutionalized &#8220;progressive&#8221; leftists, not reality. Secondly, not once in the interview does Graham ever utter the words &#8220;read my lips&#8221;. Again, readers are witnessing fabricated &#8220;progressive&#8221; wishful fiction, not fact. Furthermore, never did he say &#8220;don’t sign the ‘no new tax’ pledge. Not even once. Not ever.</p>
<p>The entire headline is a total lie. It’s a complete falsehood. The &#8220;news&#8221; presented in this &#8220;headline&#8221; is &#8220;progressive&#8221; fabrication that goes light years beyond the outer limits of &#8220;spin&#8221;.</p>

<p>Thanks to a &#8220;headline&#8221; that’s contains not one ounce of truth, the article is automatically discredited in the minds of informed voters, those who are obviously not the target audience of Karl, Coolidge, Lemos and Pham.</p>
<p>What Graham did say is that he is willing to be flexible on applying one fourth of revenue collected by the IRS through elimination of tax loopholes and subsidies towards reducing the nations nearly $16 trillion in debt. The other three fourths would continue to follow the No New Tax Pledge’s formula for applying such revenues solely towards tax cuts. For Graham to accept this compromise, Democrats would be required to respond in kind to work in a bipartisan fashion towards reducing the national debt via &#8220;entitlement&#8221; program reforms.</p>
<p>That such inaccurate &#8220;reporting&#8221; could be considered, even for a fleeting moment, as real journalism, that these liars are actually getting paid to propagandize pure fiction as fact shows how low are today’s standards for journalistic integrity. This &#8220;headline&#8221; is going to give a large number of low-information, &#8220;sound bite news voters&#8221; a completely incorrect image of reality. It’s not even close to being true. All visible evidence points to clear intent to mislead misinform and indoctrinate masses of online readers.</p>
<p>How about giving this story a more objective headline, a headline that reflects the truth while accurately respects the content of the story? One more like: Graham Willing to Discuss Tax, Entitlement Compromise.</p>
<p>How difficult was that?</p>
<p>Perhaps for self imagined, self-appointed members of the &#8220;progressive&#8221; intellectual elite, it’s just too simple for their brilliant minds.</p>

I heard that they existed, but I just could not believe it. <a href="http://blogcritics.org/writers/joseph-f-cotto/">Joseph F. Cotto</a>, a blogger at another &#8220;not so conservative&#8221; website, describes himself as a &#8220;member of the all-but-extinct <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockefeller_Republican">Rockefeller wing</a> of the Republican Party, taking conservative stances on fiscal and national security issues while being a <b><i>staunch centrist</i></b> on social matters.&#8221;</p>
<p>
First, I thank God that the Rockefeller wing of the Republican Party, members of the Republican Party who held moderate to liberal views similar to those of Nelson Rockefeller, is &#8220;all-but-extinct.&#8221; The term &#8220;Rockefeller wing&#8221; has fallen into disuse, replaced by the term <a href="http://conservapedia.com/Republican_in_name_only">RINO</a>.</p>
<p>
Second, what, precisely, is <b><i><ahref="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrist">staunch centrist</a></i></b>?  In what does Joseph F. Cotto believe? Does he believe an ANYTHING? Centrist ideologies tend to focus on <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_liberalism">social liberalism</a>. Conservatives understand that since the conservative philosophy is a coherent whole, it is untenable to discard part of it without discarding all of it.</p>
<p>
Never heard of Joseph F. Cotto? Well, not specifically by name, but he (and many like him) exist when it comes time to vote.  And it is people like him who have made/continue to make this country a fiscal and social wreck.  Rush Limbaugh has been quite vocal lately about him, the &#8220;independents&#8221; and &#8220;moderates&#8221; that conservatives cannot alienate if they want to win elections.</p>
<p>
<a href="http://conservativedailynews.com/2011/05/the-danger-of-third-parties/">Third party</a>? While there may be true conservative candidate out there,  I think that the power behind the Tea Party, conservatives who have had it with Joseph F. Cotto and his ilk, know that a third party will only bleed votes from the Republican candidate, thereby handing victory to the Democrats.   So they turn to Republicans, their only choice since most Republicans are more conservative than Democrats. So what are we to do? Continue to do what we have been doing: get the word/truth out.  Things are beginning to turn around.  That is why sites like <a href="http://conservativedailynews.com/">CDN</a> and <a href="http://conservativenewscentral.com/">CNC</a> are so important.</p>
<p>
I think Joseph F. Cotto and all the <a href="http://conservativedailynews.com/2011/12/hunting-rinos/">RINO</a>s and Rockefeller Republicans like him, are the reason A.F. Branco&#8217;s <a href="http://conservativedailynews.com/2012/01/typical-voters/">&#8220;Typical Voters&#8221;</a> cartoon (?) is so appropriate. And Tony once again has demonstrated why a picture is worth a thousand words.</p>
<p align="center">But that&#8217;s just my opinion.<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/?attachment_id=30689" rel="attachment wp-att-30689"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-30689" title="Hunting RINOs" src="http://conservativedailynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Hunting-RINOs.jpg" alt="" width="274" height="184" /></a>The fear in the Republican Party is palpable.  The country is being destroyed by Barack Obama.  He must be defeated in 2012.  Conservatives, long the red-headed step children of the Republican Party, have now become the dominant force through the emergence of the <a title="Tea Party movement" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_movement" rel="wikipedia">TEA Party</a>.  And they are determined to not allow another moderate Republican to be nominated by the Republican establishment.  It would mean defeat.  And another 4 years of Obama.  Something the country cannot bear.  It&#8217;s that important.  Emotions are on high and what&#8217;s at stake is nothing less that the existence of America as we know it.</p>
<p>This is the viewpoint of most conservatives today and many Americans in general.  This election is for keeps.  Which is why the Republican primary race seems so manic.  Talking heads have agreed this is a crazy primary season.  And here&#8217;s why.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s open season on RINO&#8217;s.  <em>Republicans In Name Only.  </em>Conservatives have been left at the altar since <a title="Ronald Reagan" href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/ronald-reagan" rel="huffingtonpost">Ronald Reagan</a> left D.C. for his beloved <a href="http://www.yaf.org/ranchodelcielo.aspx">Rancho del Cielo</a> in California.  A disappointing string of moderate Republican presidents, candidates, congressmen and senators have left the conservative movement with a case of jilted lover&#8217;s syndrome.  Republican candidates campaigned as conservatives.  And then ruled as moderates.  Conservative principles were abandoned over and over again for personal and political gain.</p>
<p>This has left those in the conservative movement feeling used and taken for granted.  <em>Very</em> angry.  And highly suspicious.<em>  </em>Conservatives are looking for 2 things in a presidential candidate.  And these are non-negotiable.</p>
<p>#1:  A True Believer.</p>
<p>A fighter who will champion conservative principles such as lower taxes, limited government, life, religious freedom, strong national defense, secure borders, energy independence, sound money, traditional values, the Constitutional rule of law and free enterprise.</p>
<p>These are core values that conservatives cherish.  And the prescription for what ails America.  Election year lip service to these principles is not sufficient.  Conservatives have been burned before.  This time, they are demanding the <em>real thing</em>.  A genuine conservative.  Fakers or political opportunists need not apply.</p>
<p>#2:  A Brawler.</p>
<p>The anti-Obama.  Conservatives have watched in years past as their candidates engaged in lukewarm policy discussions refusing to fight hard and talk tough.  No more.  The resentment felt for Barack Obama cannot be overstated.  It is deep and dark.  Conservatives are seething.  They want a <a href="http://www.mgm.com/view/movie/1666/Rocky/">Rocky Balboa</a>.</p>
<p>The Republican candidate must take on Obama toe to toe.  Call him out.  No more Mr. Nice Guy.  Recall Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter.  Reagan was at his best <a href="http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/general-article/reagan-quotes/">in 1980 when he said: </a> <em>&#8220;A recession is when your neighbor loses his job.  A depression is when you lose yours.  And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.&#8221;  </em>With humor, Reagan said what everyone was feeling.  But he hit hard.  Conservatives long for someone who will tell the truth about and to Barack Obama.  John <a title="John McCain" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain" rel="wikipedia">McCain</a> blew it in 2008.  There&#8217;s no room for that in 2012.</p>
<p>The current crop of Republican presidential hopefuls is facing an electorate that has no tolerance for deviation from the conservative playbook.  The problem for the candidates is that everyone knows this.  Any supposed infraction is immediately twittered and trumpeted by media outlets, liberal and otherwise.</p>
<p>Conservatives have been deceived before by Republican candidates.  Those who toed the conservative line just to buy votes.  And all eyes and ears are on the alert lest it happen again.  Conservatives are looking for the genuine article this time.  <a href="http://www.conservativedailynews.com/?attachment_id=30690" rel="attachment wp-att-30690"><img class="alignleft  wp-image-30690" title="reaganflag2" src="http://conservativedailynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/reaganflag2.jpg" alt="" width="187" height="214" /></a>Another Ronald Reagan.  But even Reagan would not likely pass the conservative test in 2012.  Even he was <a href="http://hotair.com/archives/2011/09/27/michael-reagan-my-dad-might-be-too-moderate-for-todays-gop/">not a <em>perfect</em> conservative</a>.  Yet, for many, he was the greatest president of the 20th century and one of the greatest in American history.</p>
<p>There is no &#8220;perfect&#8221; conservative candidate.  And that&#8217;s important to remember.  Because in the midst of the frantic search for a candidate with true conservative credentials, &#8220;the next Ronald Reagan&#8221; that so many long for could well be overlooked.  Rejected and discredited.  Destroyed by his own kind.</p>
<p>The Republican primaries are set to begin with <em>real voting</em> in a matter of weeks.  The true selection process will finally begin.  Meanwhile, conservatives within the party continue the purge.  Rooting out the weak.  Exposing the insincere.  Pouncing on imposters.</p>

<p><strong>Rick Perry???!!!&#8230;,</strong>&#8230;the same Rick Perry who endorsed and supported America&#8217;s Mayor Rudy Guiliani, a sometimes Republican, sometimes Democrat, in 2008?</p>
<p><strong>On immigration</strong>, <strong>a critical isue founded upon our sovereign right as a nation to establish and protect OUR OWN BORDERS</strong>.., he&#8217;s a RINO populist  (That would define him as a politician, NOT a statesman).</p>
<p>He&#8230;</p>
<blockquote><p>recently <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/07/rick-perry-illegal-immigrationn872872.html">revived a bill</a> that would crackdown on so-called “sanctuary” cities — localities where the government prohibits police officers from asking about the immigration status of legally detained residents.</p>
<p>Perry, it seems, knows which way the wind is blowing: His immigration stance is a 180-degree turn from his criticisms of Arizona’s draconian immigration law SB-1070 last year. At the time, he questioned the law, <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20003882-503544.html">saying</a>, “Some aspects of the law turn law enforcement officers into immigration officials by requiring them to determine immigration status during any lawful contact with a suspected alien, taking them away from their existing law enforcement duties, which are critical to keeping citizens safe.”</p>
<p>Considering that Perry also signed the Texas DREAM Act into law in 2001 — a precursor to the national bill that’s been struggling for congressional support — his movement to the right is quite the contrast. In a statement to the conservative Washington Times, Perry <a href="http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/watercooler/2011/jun/19/picket-does-gop-want-perrys-dream-act-too/">now says</a>, “We need to, as a country, address border security before we tackle any immigration issues.”</p></blockquote>

<p><strong>On education for ILLEGAL aliens</strong>, in May of 2001, the then Governor Perry signed House Bill 1403, lovingly embraced by the left then as the Texas DREAM Act. This legislation allowed illegal aliens who graduate from a Texas public high school to attend a Texas college at the in state tuition rate.</p>

<p><strong>On an education roll</strong> he starts off his remarks, long-winded that they were, to the <strong>Southwest</strong> Voter Registration Education Project (that would be cutresy-speak for the <strong>Latino</strong> Voter Registration Education Project) as the clown confirms by his titular description of Cisneros, the ex-Clintonista Wandering Penis Poster-boy, on Friday, June 22, 2001 as follows:</p>

<p><strong>Note</strong>: It went on similarly, ad nauseum, as he stroked the audience with the keywords of RINO dumming-down and borrowed demonRATIc &#8220;target group&#8221; strategy. He did fail to note the difference between illegals and legals being embraced in the name of growing diversity. <strong>A finger-in-the-wind POPULIST ALL THE WAY</strong>.</p>

<p>On Little Georgie-boy Bush&#8217;s SHAMNESTY&#8230;Governor Perry issued this press release (of which I&#8217;ll only bore you with an opening excerpt only, on Wednesday, January 07, 2004 :</p>
<blockquote><p>“During my visit with President Fox last November, I reaffirmed my support for a guest worker program that balances our two countries’ economic realities along with the need for homeland security. President Bush’s proposal reflects those goals.“As a former governor of this state, President Bush understands well the huge impact that immigration has on Texas, ..</p></blockquote>

<p>In December of 2006, Governor Perry&#8230;sensing a shifting in the winds in Texas attitude building against illegals  he released a <a href="http://governor.state.tx.us/news/editorial/10326/" target="_blank">press statement</a> noting his views on securing the border. He states that <strong>he opposes amnesty for illegal aliens</strong> as it rewards illegal behavior, but that <strong>he opposes enforcement of US laws through deportation OR EVEN punishment for those who violate the laws</strong> as that would harm the US economy. Do you see what he did? He split the issue into what could be operceived as two EXTREMES and why? So he can jump right in the midddle and bullsh*t you that his position is a true compromise, which it is not. !The CLASSIC finger-in-the-wind politician at work, the root cause for much of our problems now comes to the fore and he proposes a guest worker program to allow those here illegally to continue that work on a legal basis but without citizenship. Of coiurse, because he knows that conveying them citizenship can be done by SEPARATE LEGISLATION. It&#8217;s the old fast-shuffle to confuse you&#8230;THE VOTER.</p>
<p>Then in August of 2007 in blistering heat our hero ventures forth to hump for legalizing illegals, SHAMNESTY REVISITED! ON the OTHER SIDE of the Texas border. <strong>How about them apples?</strong></p>
<blockquote><p>MEXICO CITY — Leading a large delegation of Texas executives trying to drum up business in Mexico, Gov. Rick <strong>Perry</strong> on Tuesday criticized the U.S. Congress for failing to pass an immigration bill that would legalize millions of workers.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think this is that difficult an issue if Congress would have the maturity to sit down and really discuss it and cut out all the mean rhetoric,&#8221; <strong>Perry</strong> said <strong>during</strong> a break in the third day of meetings with Mexican officials and business executives.</p>
<p>&#8220;We need those individuals to continue to grow our economy,&#8221; he said of Texas&#8217; undocumented workers, most of whom hail from Mexico. &#8220;The vast, vast majority of those individuals want to come and work and take care of their families.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Perry</strong> made the remarks in Mexico City, where immigration is nearly as big a hot-button issue as it is in Washington. He spoke at a press conference shortly before meeting with <strong>President</strong> Felipe Calderon who, like past Mexican presidents, has lobbied for changes in U.S. immigration law that would include a guest-worker program.</p>
<p>Perry&#8217;s statements seemed to put him at odds with many in the Republican Party&#8217;s base who regarded the immigration overhaul bill that collapsed in the Senate in June as nothing more than an amnesty for illegal immigrants.</p></blockquote>

<p>I could go on with many other positions, but at this critical time Rick Perry is NOT the conservative we need to wrest leadership of the Republican Party from those like him who would piece-by-piece sell us all down the river. I still back Bachmann.</p>

Even more important &#8211; you have ability to keep it from coming to that.</p>
<p>The primaries start in February so the current polls showing Romney leading the pack are going to change. Whether or not Romney falls is yet to be seen, but the polling statistics will change.</p>
<p>The primary vote is where you get to be slective &#8211; pick a Romney, Bachmann, Huntsman (really?), Paul .. whoever. If you don&#8217;t vote in the primaries, don&#8217;t complain about who goes up against Obama and certainly don&#8217;t sit at home and sulk. Either be active during the primary season or be prepared to support whoever wins &#8211; inaction has consequences.</p>
<p>Once the general election starts, you have one choice &#8211; the GOP nominee. You could choose to support whatever moronic candidate decides to come back in as a third party candidate. There is historical precedence for that &#8211; its big-eared name was H. Ross Perot. In a failed third party bid, he not only didn&#8217;t get himself elected, he actually caused the loss of the right-of-center candidate.</p>
<p>If you love your Ron Paul, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump so much .. get them nominated. Go get your grass-roots effort in-motion so that they might take the primaries. If they lose .. buck up and take one for the country.</p>
<p>Vote your conscience in the primaries and be prepared to swallow your pride in the general election. If you don&#8217;t, what will four more years of Obama look like?</p>
<ul>
<li>Obamacare will be fully implemented</li>
<li>QE3 and perhaps QE4 (AKA stimulus 2 and 3) will be complete</li>
<li>The Senate will ratify the U.N. treaty on personal arms (guns) and he will sign</li>
<li><a title="House GOP Enables Union Control of Federal Contracts" href="http://conservativedailynews.com/2011/06/house-gop-enables-union-control-of-federal-contracts/" target="_blank">Unions</a> will continue to run our government and <a title="Obama Administration Goes After Boeing to Protect Unions" href="http://conservativedailynews.com/2011/04/obama-administration-goes-after-boeing-to-protect-unions/" target="_blank">run our employers out of the country</a></li>
<li><a title="Charter Schools: A First Impression" href="http://conservativedailynews.com/2011/06/charter-schools-a-first-impression/" target="_blank">Education</a> will continue to be run by big labor</li>
<li>Your kids will be left with a bill they can NOT pay</li>
</ul>
<p>It&#8217;s time to be the parent and/or patriot. Swallow your pride and realize that either you got off your butt and got your candidate nominated or that someone else did. If your candidate does not take the nomination, do NOT take it out on OUR country. Obama must go, we must take the Senate &#8211; plain and simple.</p>
<p>It is understandable that we all pick the perfect candidate as the primaries come closer. There will not be general agreement on who should take that spot &#8211; that is precisely why primaries are held. Use that mechanism to voice your opinion about one Republican candidate or another. Once the primaries are over &#8211; it&#8217;s time to understand the real decision in front of you. Do you have the will to drop your pride and decide that having a good candidate is better than losing the election while hoping for a perfect one? Can you vote for someone that at least approaches your beliefs &#8211; or will you sacrifice the country just to show that you and 8% of the electorate voted for your favorite candidate?</p>
<p>If you aren&#8217;t active in the primaries, you may just have to vote for a RINO &#8211; no way to soften the blow.</p>
