As the year 2012 closes, there are millions of parents across the nation who should be realizing a tax break for their unborn child. If their state follows Michigan’s lead which is considering granting parents that chose preserving a child’s life in the womb deserves a financial break. For several weeks Michigan GOP legislators have been seriously contemplating granting a tax credit for parents of fetuses that are twelve weeks or older, according to the publication, the New Civil Rights Movement.
Liberals in the state legislature immediately jumped on the notion of granting an economic benefit for those cash-strapped parents who may be hit with higher taxes next year. They, like many parents across the nation are worried about the congress and the president being hopelessly deadlocked in ‘fiscal cliff ‘negotiations that will possibly add an additional $2,300 – $3,500 tax bill to their household. Why are Democrats worried about granting a tax break for middle-class families? Does it make sense to you?
Parents that have chosen protecting a child’s life over aborting the child should be a cause for celebration and why not reward the expectant parents with a tax break and legislators with re-election! State legislatures across the nation are moving to strengthen the opportunity for an unborn child to hold onto their right to life, as abortion numbers continue to fall in America.
In 2009, which is the last year for reported abortion numbers, “A total of 784,507 abortions were reported to CDC for 2009. Of these abortions, 772,630 (98.5%) were from the 45 reporting areas that provided data every year during 2000–2009, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
The value of life in the womb is gaining traction. And these future parents deserve to be helped and not spurned by liberal and anti-life supporters. Millions of families that are seeing their bills continue to increase, and it becomes more difficult to make their shrinking paychecks stretch. A tax break for their unborn child, could be passed in early 2013 and have retroactive impact on 2012 income.
Is this legislation extreme as many liberals have claimed, who are concerned about the possibility that an unborn child just might be granted “personhood rights” rights? The director of Progress Michigan, Zack Pohl, called the pro-family legislation a back door way of, “passing extreme personhood legislation.”
How can it be extreme to grant a young struggling family the right to take advantage of the tax system that could grant them the benefit of putting a little more in their budget to pay for items necessary for the support of their expected child?
How can liberals like Obama, force Catholic institutions like Georgetown pay for Law student Sandra Fluke’s abortion pills, but liberal leaders like him them not support tax-breaks for struggling parents of an unborn child?
With the fortieth anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court Roe V. Wade decision coming in May of 2013, it seems more than ironic, that these same anti-life pro-choice forces are looking for yet another way to deprive a mother and father of a benefit of bringing a life into the world.
These liberal leaders know what you already know in your heart and in your gut. An unborn child is not just a mass of tissue, but is life, feels pain and suffers when harmed. Examine for yourself, the state of law in America, concerning the status of an unborn child being carried in the womb of a mother. You determine if granting tax privileges for an unborn child is wrong.
An unborn child is considered a person under the law, when the mother is attacked and the attack results in the death of the unborn child. The laws which give legal human status to a murdered unborn child are called “feticide” laws. As a matter of law, the fetal homicide is considered a separate and distinct criminal act which exists aside from an attack and possible harm to the mother.
Therefore, the unborn child already has legal status, and that legal status is protected by law in 38 states in America. Twenty three states go even further in granting legal right-to-life protection for the unborn child from harm. These states provide, “fetal homicide laws that apply to the earliest stages of pregnancy including ‘any state of gestation,’ or conception,” according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.
So where is the debate and where is the harm in granting a mother and father a tax benefit for their child, in any state, be it Texas, Ohio, Montana, Tennessee, Kentucky or any other? Abortion activists have claimed that granting “special rights” to the unborn child would take away a mother’s flexibility to strip an unborn child’s life from its body as the Roe v Wade decision permits. How ironic that the mother can harm and impede the life of her child.
The congress has already set the table for protecting the unborn child’s right to be defended against harm, with passage of the 2004 Unborn Victims of Violence Act. When President George W. Bush signed the legislation into law, it recognized:
A “child in utero” as a legal victim, if he or she is injured or killed during the commission of any of over 60 listed federal crimes of violence. The law defines “child in utero” as “a member of the species Homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb.”
If a child is considered a legal victim and is, “a member of the species Homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb,” then why shouldn’t the 49 other states in the nation, and Michigan, take the next logical step and pass a law granting parents the right to a tax break for their unborn child?
Make 2013, a year of celebration for the truth about unborn life. Life is more than a heartbeat. Life is a child, a future that deserves a choice. Join the effort locally to protect the parent’s choice by supporting their right to a tax break for their unborn child. After all, each precious unborn child is a “member of the species Homo sapiens.” We all are…born and unborn!
Do you truly believe that conservatives in Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Virginia or any other state in America were just too, too far to the right for Mitt Romney or any Republican to win? The notion is incredibly meritless on its face. The facts are quite simple. Obama saw a drop of nine million plus voters from his 2008 vote totals for president. 1.6 million less blacks voted for him than did in 2008 as well.
The true fact is that Romney received nearly 2 million less votes from conservatives than Senator John McCain did in 2008. The truth appears to be that more conservatives have to be brought to the election table and for the right reasons.
Already there are apologists in the republican establishment who are straining their neck to receive the nod of approval from mainstream media pundits and the alphabet soup networks. Their goal is to toss conservatives under the bus.
Liberal pundits like MSNBC Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Al Sharpton are crowing over the thug-in-chief behavior of Obama and his Chicago campaign street crew. They believe it is permissible to attack, demean and destroy republicans and Tea Party candidates because, after all those Republicans and those Tea Party people are “not decent, and are racist!”
Instead, these pathetic pundits were very desperate to showcase on as many network broadcasts as humanly possible the bowing and scraping of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. They could not wait to display for the nation Christie’s love fest adoration for Obama over a Hurricane Sandy photo-op. This is the picture that liberals want conservatives to change into.
If that were to happen in some alternative universe, the reality still will remain the same. The liberals and mainstream media will still demonize Republican and Tea Party candidates, but they will repeatedly kick their butt with a smile. Meanwhile in New Jersey, hundreds of thousands of people still are cold, without food, housing or power. Where is Obama’s promise of a15 minute phone call response for those who are suffering in worse than Hurricane Katrina conditions?
Ahhh yes. Phones must not work in the White House. Conservatives should be good little boys and girls and take a long walk off a short pier just like Governor Christie did in selling out his state for a disingenuous smile from Obama. The commander of stealth also threw in a Bruce Springsteen phone call for Christie too. 30 pieces of silver would have gotten him a lot more.
The reality is as plain as the U.S. Constitution and the rationale for why its framers did not compromise their principles to the British. Sure, it is always easier to kneel on bended knee and give into the whims of the oppressor. It may seem easier to look the other way and believe that your home can be invaded , but as long as it is alright and they knock first, then it is OK, some may try to rationalize.
That type of delusional belief system guarantees that the United States will cease to be a nation that raises its citizens to believe in fighting for the right to protect their homes against enemies both foreign and domestic. By giving away the nation’s values and conservative principles so that the tyranny of a school yard bully can set the law of the playground of America is repugnant. It does not make the liberal bully president’s behavior any more legitimate because the mainstream media acting as the principal of the school and the liberal classmates agree to support the bully’s offensive behavior
You see, America is at a crossroads. The nation’s conservatives are not too far right in order to win elections. The 2010 congressional elections where the Tea Party thrashed the liberals and soundly rejected the president’s socialist agenda is a case in point.
The charge that conservatives and undecided American voters have to contend with is to determine what type of America your children will inherit. The other question is, what are you willing to fight for?
Will you take the attitude that it is better to wait and see what happens, when you already know that this president and his co-conspirators in the mainstream media are slowly stripping away your rights. Will you wait and see how much of your religious beliefs should be taken, or your right to a job? Will you call yourself too conservative because you agree that your child or your neighbor can be denied a job or college acceptance because they were not born as part of a “protected class” or were not an illegal alien?
Are you too conservative and far to the right because biblical principles which this nation is founded upon are just too difficult to fight for? The U.S. Constitution is more than just a document and the biblical teachings upon which this nation is founded is more than an interesting collection of words
2 Thessalonians 2:15: “So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.”
These constitutional and biblical principles are worth standing firm upon, even when the liberal bullies on the left reside in the offices of the media elite or the Oval office. Be proud that you want to elect representatives who have the will and faith to stand against the demagoguery of a community organizer from Chicago who brought his socialist training and beliefs to the presidency.
Obama’s reelection does not give him or his followers the privilege or the license to search out and destroy the American dream for its citizens because they seek freedom over liberal servitude. You are on the right for justice and recognize that elections do have consequences if lies are accepted as truth.
Elections do not determine the character of the president; it is principles and values which will not stand down against liberalism even if it elects leaders who destroy conservative values with impunity. Instead stand up aside your neighbor and then add one more, then add another. Stand up and do not let an election based on manipulation and lies and riddled with hidden truths fill you with dismay, depression or defeat.
The conservative movement, the Tea Party movement, the faith movement, the right to life movement has only begun to fight. The House of Representatives is the peoples’ house, and conservatives and Tea Party elected leaders are in firm control. Build upon that. Send them not only a message that they must not submit to the narrative of defeat. Instead show them by your organizing efforts that, help is on the way.
Conservatives are not too far right for American elections. America must be brought back home to its founding heredity so that future elections will be in a country that has reemerged with stronger roots. It will not be a nation that is buried in a valueless shallow grave of liberals’ morals.
In the end, if moderating conservative beliefs and faith, means one has to embrace the new Obama philosophy of hate and revenge, then walk away. Be proud to continue the battle for the honor and integrity of conservative values for “Love of country which continues to be one nation under God
DENVER, Sept. 27, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ — The Colorado Personhood Coalition has filed suit in Denver today, after an unjust dismissal by the Secretary of State’s office.
An unsuccessful lawsuit from Planned Parenthood shortened the petitioning time by about 60 days, giving the Colorado Personhood Coalition fewer petitioning days than any other Colorado ballot initiative. In spite of this, the Personhood Coalition collected over 112,000 signatures, about 30,000 more than signatures collected in 2010.
Other initiatives were also granted a 15 day curing period to make up lost or invalidated signatures, which the Colorado Personhood Coalition was denied.
After turning in far more than the number of signatures required for ballot placement, the Secretary of State’s office determined that the amendment could not appear on the ballot, discounting over 6,800 registered voters’ signatures.
“The Secretary of State’s actions unconstitutionally deprived us of our fundamental right under the State and Federal Constitutions to the initiative process which is core political speech,” explained Gualberto Garcia Jones, J.D., legal analyst for Personhood USA. “After being denied the same time frame that every other initiative received, and denied the opportunity to appear on the ballot, we have filed a writ of mandamus to ensure that our rights are recognized and the hard work of our volunteers is not dismissed.”
The Colorado Personhood Coalition’s language is different than any other in the nation, addressing a myriad of issues in detail that have never before been explored, including birth control, IVF, miscarriage, and rape.
The full language is available at personhoodco.com/amendment-text.
“Our nearly 1,500 volunteers worked incredibly hard,” commented Susan Sutherland, Director of the Colorado Personhood Coalition. “Despite the odds, we did the work and got the signatures. We deserve to be on the ballot, and we will not quit until every signature is counted and ultimately, every innocent human life is protected in Colorado.”
NEW ALBANY, Miss., March 15, 2012 — The Mississippi House of Representatives worked late last night and after contentious debate overwhelmingly passed HB 1196 the so-called “Heartbeat bill” which would require abortionists to check for a fetal heartbeat, inform the mother that there was a fetal heartbeat, and – if the Senate passes the current version – prohibit the killing of the child after its heartbeat can be detected.
Personhood Mississippi, the leading principled advocate for Biblical bioethics and equal protection under the law for all human beings from the biological beginning of life until natural death, issued the following statement about this act:
“We are grateful that the House has passed HB 1196 by a wide margin. The intent appears to be that if the Senate passes this bill that surgical abortion in this state will largely be eliminated — representing a protection from death for thousands of unborn children in Mississippi and protection from the Spiritual, emotional and physical danger of abortion for their mothers.
“Especially encouraging is the fact that this act does not dehumanize some preborn children in an effort to save others. Rather it protects an entire class of human beings regardless of their means of conception or perceived imperfections, without devaluing those who have not reached this age. Overall this is a promising next step in the battle in recognizing the personhood of pre-born children and providing them equal protection under the law. If the bill becomes law it begins the process of rolling back judicial usurpations like Roe v. Wade.
“It appears that the 78 Representatives that voted for HB 1196 heard and understood the message their constituents sent on Initiative 26 rather than listening to the abortion industry and their allies in the media. We hope the Lt. Governor Reeves and the State Senate heard the same message and will send this bill without amendment to our solidly pro-life Governor Phil Bryant.”
Is Planned Parenthood getting kids hooked on sex in order to make them future customers? American Life League says that they are! Below is a graphic video from the American Life League explaining their position. Warning! Graphic Content!
The video shows a male presenter making the claim that Planned Parenthood is indeed attempting to make kids and teens sex addicts by exposing them to sexual content early in life through their sex education programs, without the knowledge or consent of their parents. Staff at the Conservative Daily News has checked out the claims and invites its readers to check out the Planned Parenthood website and make their own judgments. http://www.plannedparenthood.org/
If the claim of the American Life League is true, then Planned Parenthood is not only using tax payer funds to pay for abortions, but are creating for themselves future revenue by addicting our kids to sex.
American Life League (ALL) is a 501(c)(3) organization co-founded in 1979 by Judie Brown and nine other pro-life Americans. It claims to be the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life education organization in the United States. It’s stated mission is as follows:
American Life League exists to serve God by helping to build a society that respects and protects individual innocent human beings from creation to natural death—without compromise, without exception, without apology.
The distinguishing mark of American Life League, by which we will be recognized, is our absolute commitment to the sacredness of every innocent human being’s life.
The video wraps up by making the following claim:
“This is what planned parenthood is all about. Get the kids addicted to sex so they can sell them birth control. When teens catch a sexually transmitted disease; it sells them testing services.
“And when a young girl gets pregnant; it sells her an abortion. This isn’t education! It’s indoctrination intended to drum up Planned Parenthood’s abortion business! “
ALL’s call to action at the end of the video is a request for views to sign into their website and learn of ways to help them defund Planned Parenthood. Information about ALL can be found at their website at: http://www.all.org/.
Abortion is the killing of an unborn child still inside the mother’s womb.
As a pro-life, right-wing conservative, I believe that Roe vs. Wade should be overturned. There is but one case in which I believe the abortion of a live fetus is warranted. If a woman has been raped and becomes pregnant as a result then quite obviously she did not want to have a child, at least not at that particular time in her life. In that respect I am a little bit more lenient, but if you are faced with the option of adoption or abortion I encourage you to choose adoption rather than abortion. Now if there is nobody who is willing to adopt the child then you could probably go with an abortion if you feel that is necessary, although I feel it is still wrong.
One of the Ten Commandments specifically says thou shall not commit murder. It makes me wonder if people are reading their Bibles on a daily basis. What angers me more is the fact that it costs four billion dollars to fund abortions – a waste of our money.
How did the idea of women having the right to choose came about in the first place? One possibility is that maybe someone misinterpreted one of the Constitutional amendments, that is women having the right to choose their leaders (right to vote) . Maybe someone read it in their minds as that women have the right to choose and totally skipped over the words “their leaders”. The other possibility is that maybe someone did not interpret the right to privacy the correct way. Maybe some people felt that abortion should be kept between a woman and her doctor and stay private.
If a woman does not want to have a child, then she should not have become pregnant in the first place. One way to ensure that women do not get pregnant is for them to abstain from sexual immorality or to use birth control. The government of China mandates a woman to have an abortion, if she gives birth to more than one child. Now you are probably asking why they do that. The reason is because there is not enough land over there in China due to so many people living there already. That makes me sit back, relax, and think of all the freedoms that we have here as U.S. citizens. Sometimes I look back and say to myself man I sure am glad that I live here in the United States of America and not in one of those countries out in the Middle East.
NEW ALBANY, Miss., Nov. 22, 2011 — Following the defeat of Personhood Amendment 26, Personhood Mississippi commissioned a post-election poll to determine what factors influenced voters. Surprisingly, the poll determined that only 8% of those who voted “no” did so because they are pro-choice.
The nation has watched the Mississippi election closely, and there has been much speculation as to what may have caused the unanticipated defeat. Proponents were repeatedly quoted as saying that the amendment could not ban in vitro fertilization, contraception, or healthcare for women. Their statements were correlated by the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, along with many other prominent Mississippi attorneys, doctors, and politicians.
Yet, despite these expert statements and testimonies as to the effects of Amendment 26, Planned Parenthood (under the guise of Mississippians for Healthy Families), persisted in lying to Mississippi voters, propagating scare tactics that were proven false numerous times. As of October 31, with well over a week to go before the election, they reported a hefty $1,030,000 poured into Mississippi from out of state Planned Parenthood affiliates alone.
“Planned Parenthood pulled the wool over the eyes of Mississippians, and I believe that voters will be shocked to learn the truth,” commented Les Riley, founder of Personhood Mississippi and sponsor of the initiative. “They must have been desperate to lie about so many things so often. But beyond the lies, it’s terrible to know that they likely used my own tax dollars to lie to the people of my state. Planned Parenthood reports over $350 million in government funding, and it appears they used well over a million of their government dollars to lie to people in Mississippi.”
The new poll reveals that Planned Parenthood’s willful deceit, which also raised doubts in the mind of Governor Haley Barbour, caused the defeat of Amendment 26.
Governor Barbour previously stated that he had concerns about the amendment, all of which were the same issues that Planned Parenthood used to deceive voters. Barbour did vote “yes” on the amendment, yet even after he announced that he had voted “yes” Planned Parenthood persisted in running television ads and telephone calls misleading voters to believe he had voted “no.” As a result, 12% of voters polled said that they were swayed to vote “no” by Haley Barbour.
Among the most shocking, 31% voted “no” because they thought it would ban in vitro fertilization, a direct lie from the Planned Parenthood camp.
28% of voters polled voted “no” because they believed the Planned Parenthood lie that women would be denied treatment for ectopic pregnancy.
“My family and I invested years of work into this amendment, only to have the largest abortion provider in the country invade Mississippi with their anti-family rhetoric,” continued Riley. “Knowing that Mississippi voted ‘no’ because of lies from our opponents makes me more determined than ever to try again, defending the rights of all Mississippians.”
Only 24 people out of 10,000 polled voted “no” because there were no exceptions for rape and incest, indicating that most voters understand that the human being in the womb is a person, no matter the circumstances of their conception.
Olathe, Kansas, Nov. 9, 2011 — District Attorney Steve Howe asked today that 23 felonies and 26 misdemeanors against Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri be dismissed because evidence that could have supported the charges of manufacturing evidence had been destroyed. However 58 criminal charges related to failure to determine viability and unlawful late-term abortion will move forward.
Howe explained to Judge Stephen Tatum that former Attorney General Steve Six had destroyed the copies of Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) forms obtained through subpoena under former Attorney General Phill Kline. The destruction took place after Kline had filed the charges and while the case was under appeal. Howe indicated that the destruction of the evidence by Six “may have violated their own retention policy.”
Last month, Howe stunned pro-life supporters when he told Judge Tatum that the original TOP forms submitted by Planned Parenthood to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) had been destroyed in 2005 “for reasons still unclear.”
The forms were critical evidence since a copy of the forms were supposed to be maintained in the patient files. However, when Kline received the patient files after three years of legal wrangling, it was discovered that the forms submitted to KDHE and the forms in the patient records did not match. Judge Richard Anderson had the forms analyzed by police handwriting evidence and determined that the forms in the patient filed had been manufactured. (View copies of one set of these forms.)
Operation Rescue received documents via an open records request that shows on August 10, 2005, Planned Parenthood’s Sheila Kostas made an e-mail request for information on all the TOP forms submitted by their organization for the years 2000-2004. The Kansas Supreme Court was set to hear oral arguments just a few weeks later on September 5, 2005, concerning weather Planned Parenthood and abortionist George Tiller would have to comply with subpoenas for patient records. (Note: On September 2, 2005, Operation Rescue documented the shredding a huge number of documents in the parking lot of Tiller’s Wichita abortion clinic.)
The records show that KDHE’s Greg Crawford complied with Kosta’s request the following day. Information supplied by Crawford could have easily been used by Planned Parenthood to fill out bogus TOP forms and insert them into the patient files to cover up for the fact that they had not maintained the records as required by law.
Without the original forms or the copies obtained by Kline, Howe told the court that he was left with an incomplete set of copies and cannot establish a chain of custody for them, making the legal hurdles in continuing the prosecution of the felony charges “insurmountable.”
Howe did express that he is proceeding on the remaining 58 criminal counts. The next hearing in the case was set for February 22, 2012.
“Steve Six must be held accountable for this destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice,” said Operation rescue President Troy Newman, who was present at the hearing. “What we have is a conspiracy to destroy evidence in order to protect Planned Parenthood. The more we learn, the more apparent it becomes that former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius is at the heart of this political corruption. She appointed Six and controlled him and the KDHE under her administration. We must have an aggressive investigation of this scandal.”
Later today, Attorney General Derek Schmidt, who defeated Six in his 2010 bid for re-election, asked the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office to conduct an full and independent investigation into the destruction of evidence against Planned Parenthood.
“We hope this investigation will be done impartially and without the political bias that tainted the Sebelius administration,” said Newman. “While we are disappointed and troubled that the felony charges cannot proceed, we are pleased that 58 very serious counts related to illegal late-term abortions are moving forward. There is still some hope that a small measure of justice can still be achieved.”
I know that most Americans enjoy watching a good action movie that shows the good guy doing whatever he has to do to get the bad guy to reveal important information, which will save his girlfriend’s life. The ‘average Joe’ among American families has no problem sitting around the big screen TV with popcorn and soda cheering on some super-secret government guy, whom is beating the snot out of some slime ball terrorists because they know where the bomb is. And yet, over and over and over again, I hear and read that most Americans believe this type of harsh, rogue, ‘James Bond-like’ behavior is just wrong. I personally do not believe that most Americans believe that harshly interrogating evil, viscous, anti-American terrorists is wrong. I have had this discussion with hundreds of people and I have yet to find one single American who believes that it is wrong to harshly interrogate the very people who are trying to wipe America off the map. These types of people are well-described in the following Bible passage:
Their feet run to do evil and they rush to commit murder. They think only about sinning. Wherever they go, misery and destruction follow them. They do not know what true peace is or what it means to be just and good. They continually do wrong, and those who follow them cannot experience a moment’s peace. –Isaiah 59:7-8
We have all heard the phrases ‘the lesser of two evils’ and ‘two wrongs don’t make a right’. I never did agree with the ‘two wrongs do not make a right’ idea, because the interpretation of what exactly is a wrong or a right can vary greatly from person to person. For example, there was a time in this country when it could have been death by hanging if a woman purposely killed her unborn baby and was found guilty of murder. Today in America, not only are some women comfortable with killing their unborn children, legitimate doctors are helping these women do just that ! (and with the tax-payer’s money)
Do I personally believe anyone should enjoy inflicting extreme pain or using seemingly other methods of harsh interrogation on terrorists? Absolutely not! The harsh interrogation of evil people is just something that sometimes needs to be done. If these interrogations lead to the arrest or killing of high-powered terrorist leaders than that is good, and justice has prevailed. It is similar to when the guilty child rapist and child murderer finally get his due payment in an electric chair. People basically like to see justice prevail. Even the Lord says that he takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. However, the Lord has no problem with punishing those he deems wicked, disobedient, rebellious or evil because he considers it justice. I believe it is much more immoral to not do whatever we need to do to get life-saving information out of these worthless, evil terrorists, than it is to not do anything to these savage murderers, and basically let hundreds (if not thousands) of innocent people die! Again, I am not talking about harshly interrogating people who we hope have information, or who we hope might be a terrorist. I am saying if we have hard, clear facts that the person we have in custody is an integral part of a terrorist cell, then let’s treat them like the low-life vermin that they are! I believe harshly interrogating a known terrorist is partial justice in itself. I do not think any known slime-ball terrorist even deserves his or her day in court. We already know they are guilty—they proudly proclaim their guiltiness! I personally believe the just penalty for any known terrorist can begin the moment we capture him or her.
1 Peter 3:10-12 —– For the Scriptures say, “If you want a happy life and good days, keep your tongue from speaking evil, and keep your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Work hard at living in peace with others. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.”
I say that those who are telling you that most Americans believe that torturing evil, hideous, worthless, anti-American terrorists is wrong are, in fact, lying to themselves. I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I would bet that any American with the least amount of brains would agree that even if it took the harsh interrogating of a hundred slime-ball terrorists to save the life of one single innocent person it would have been worth it! As a person who appreciates the moral goodness in life, and who strives to be a good, honest human being, I could care less what we do to fellow human beings who have absolutely no regard for the same moral goodness of life. These evil people also have no problem using innocent children and women to purposely cause terrible and horrific suffering and death.
As an American citizen I expect the leaders in this country to do whatever it takes to keep me safe. As an American citizen I expect police officers to make every effort necessary to try and stop the bad people who want to harm me. As an American citizen I expect that all my federal governmental agencies (i.e. FBI, CIA, military, TFA, HLS, Rambo, Spiderman, Terminator and any other secret covert groups) to do whatever it takes to try to keep me safe while I am living in America. I can pretty much promise you that the vast majority of people who lost loved ones on 9/11 would have praised the Federal Government for doing whatever they had to do to get information out of any terrorists we might have already captured if it would have prevented 9/11 from ever happening. I personally believe that it is asinine to think that it is wrong to use whatever force or technique is necessary to get information from known evil terrorists if it will save American lives!
Why has American become so girly-man when it come to this harsh interrogation stuff? How did this nation ever get so politically correct? I would hope those people who are reading this article would have enough brains to know that I am not condoning the use of torture-like techniques on innocent or ‘wanna-be’ terrorists. I am well aware that many innocent, righteous people have suffered horribly because evil men used torture techniques in the past for unrighteous reasons. However, that does not mean we should throw out the baby with the bath water when it comes to interrogating people for legitimately righteous reasons. When I talk of using torture techniques to get information from people, I mean using these harsh techniques on known evil people; terrorists whom we know by name; terrorists who we know are already involved in the killing of innocent civilians because they gloat about it! And I am one of those people who believe that anyone who supports a terrorist is a terrorist himself!
(I would never wish this next scenario on anyone but it does happen.) A wealthy man comes home from work only to find out his ten year daughter has been abducted by kidnappers. The police are called in. After a short while this rich man is told that the kidnappers had been involved in a car accident as they were fleeing the area. The car accident resulted in one of the kidnappers being seriously injured (and left behind by his buddies for dead.) The police tell the rich man that it is important that they find his daughter within 24 hours. In the mean time the seriously injured kidnapper snaps out of his injury induced coma. He is able to talk but is refusing to share any information with the police. He is asking for a lawyer. Dad, what do you do? Are you willing to have this man harshly interrogated in order to save your daughter? Mr. President, if that was your daughter these slime-balls had kidnapped, what would you be willing to do to get information (quickly) which could save your daughter’s life? Remember, time is running out! I say give me a pair of pliers and nail gun and I will have this guy talking in five minutes. I probably won’t even have to use the nail gun! I can promise you that I will not have to kill this slimy kidnapper to get information—though I would like to! I can promise you that it will not be long before I know everything about this guy and his buddies. (People just don’t do pain well! Most people squeal like pigs if they get a simple sliver in their finger.) I should not have to cut off any body parts—though I would do it if it helped to save the life of an innocent ten year year old child.
Now, let’s magnify that scenario a thousand times over. Let’s say we have one of the terrorists whom we know was involved in the bombings of innocent people. We know he has connections with other terrorists and their activities. We know he was planning to set off more bombs—somewhere. So how much is the life of one innocent American worth? It is worth more than the suffering of one evil terrorist? How much are a thousand innocent lives?
Some people in America just don’t seem to understand that there are a group of evil, worthless, slime-balls living in this world who have no concern for innocent human life. These wickedly evil terrorists have no qualms with using innocent women and children as bomb carriers. These crazy and out-of-control religious or political zealots have no problem trying to destroy us as a nation and as a people. If we are going to survive as a nation we have to quit acting so sanctimonious when it comes to treating terrorists as just another type of criminal! America, please listen to what I am saying! The vast majority of people in this country who denounce the practice of torturing known terrorists for vital, life-saving information have no problem with the ungodly torturing of innocent babies—while still in the ‘safety’ of their ‘mother’s’ womb! (Of course they won’t call that torturing! To them abortion is a health matter. Well the harsh interrogation of known terrorists is also a health matter. Healthy people die when we give terrorists the same rights as law-abiding Americans have.) Don’t you liberal, pro-abortion hypocrites dare try to tell me that it is inhumane to torture known terrorists! The last time I looked it was still legal in this country to pull a totally innocent baby 90% of the way out of their ‘mother’s’ womb, and then jam a high-powered suction tube into the brain of that baby and kill it by violently sucking their brains out! So again, don’t you dare try to tell me that it is just not America to torture known terrorists to get information! The blood of those innocent babies cries out from the grave because of the way and because of the selfish reasons most of them were killed. Don’t you dare try to convince me that America just doesn’t do things like torturing humans! We have a whole generation of children missing in America because they were cut up–while still alive in their ‘mother’s’ womb–like a piece of meat and then throw into garbage cans like some unwanted trash! So don’t you dare try to tell me it would be un-American for those in the various branches of our military or governmental agencies to be harshly interrogating known terrorists while condoning knowing the murder of innocent babies in this country! America, we need to stop the practice of murdering babies and babying murderers.
Time after time the Bible refers to certain types of people as being worthless because of their lack of moral character. Worthless means they are worth nothing. God said it, not me—though I do agree with Him.
Proverbs 6:12 —- A worthless person, a wicked man, is the one who walks with a perverse mouth….
This idea that all people are somehow God’s children is liberal religious babbling. The idea that evil people deserve the same breaks in life as the people who are trying to do good is simply B.S! The good Lord above created all humans with a free will. He gave everyone the ability (and the opportunity) to choose to do good, or to choose to do evil. In the Bible, God told people through his prophets that he was going to set down some commandments, that lead to life, and some other commandments that lead to death. God told anyone who wanted to listen, that if they wanted to live a good life (in this life and in the next life) they simply needed to do as he commanded. He also told everyone that if they wanted to suffer miserably, (in this life and in the next life) all they had to do was to rebelliously disobey his commandments.
Deuteronomy 27:25 —– ‘Cursed is anyone who accepts payment to kill an innocent person.’ And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’
As I stated before, the torturing of people for information is not new to America. It was not President Bush who invented ‘harsh’ interrogating! The torture of human beings has been going on for thousands of years. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people who were doing the torturing were evil themselves. The powers that be in America might not always get it right, but it is not for lack of trying. The idiotic notion that a large group of vile, evil terrorists will see the errors of their ways if we simply give them a hug and a fair trial is absurd! The idea that viscous, mean-spirited religious nuts will be converted to the American cause if we simply love them is asinine. These are people who forcibly strap bombs on little children in an attempt to kill innocent people! These slime-ball terrorists are the type of people who promise a poor mother that her orphaned children will be taken care if she agrees to become a human bomb. Don’t even try to tell me I should have compassion for the evil-doers of society, especially anti-American terrorists that are out to destroy America. Don’t even try to tell me that I should be concerned about possibly hurting people like this if I interrogate them too roughly! My God, what has America turned into!
Again, don’t you dare try to sell me on the false idea that America just does not do things like this because it is supposedly immoral! I have already touched on some very wicked and immoral things that people are legally allowed to do to unborn babies! What is more immoral than that? How allowing hundreds (and maybe thousands) of Americans to die simply because those in power believe it is wrong to harshly interrogate a slimy, worthless ‘form of life’ terrorist! Those in power in America during World War II had no problem dropping an atomic bomb on innocent people in order to save lives—which I agree with. Have you ever read about the terrible suffering that thousands of innocent Japanese had to endure because of the side effects of radiation poisoning? And yet, the bomb was still dropped in hopes of ending the continued deaths of American soldiers. What about the Waco debacle? Idiots in our Federal Government decided it was more important to risk the lives of innocent women and children then to just do the compassionate thing and leave this religious group alone. How can it be right for the powers that be in America to decide to forcibly attack a religious compound in Waco (knowing that there was almost a 99% chance that innocent American women and children were going to suffer horribly) and yet consider it wrong to harshly interrogate slime-ball, worthless, murdering terrorists? Go figure!
According to the propagandists of the radical left, the GOP launched a “war on women” last week when the House overwhelmingly agreed to yank Planned Parenthood’s federal funding. Democrats are accusing their political rivals of everything from forcing poor women to suffer, to attempting to shut the organization down. Of course, these are hollow lies designed to herd uninformed voters onto the liberal bandwagon, and are—like most Democratic arguments—easily disproved.
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America, commonly shortened to Planned Parenthood, is a group of eighty-five independent affiliates that provide a variety of services to women, including contraception, STD testing and treatment, and abortions. It’s also an extremely political organization, lobbying against parental consent laws and pharmacists’ refusal clauses (both of which are protected by the Tenth Amendment), and supporting Democratic candidates in elections. Planned Parenthood was a strong supporter of candidate Obama in 2008.
What’s wrong with that? They’re a private organization and can do what they want, right? Er, not exactly. Although Planned Parenthood receives about one-fourth of its funding from private donors, it receives a whopping one-third from the federal government; the organization raked in $363.2 million from the taxpayers in the 2008-2009 fiscal year. Federal law prohibits federal funding of abortions (with some exceptions), but Planned Parenthood openly calls for the removal of this reasonable restriction.
To put it bluntly, Planned Parenthood is a leech, a parasitic organization that feeds on Americans’ paychecks. Certainly, some citizens approve of the organization’s activities, and they are free to support it with their own money, but it is unacceptable, even immoral, to force those who do not approve to finance activities that might, in some cases, violate their religious convictions.
Isn’t there something in the First Amendment about that?
Some conservative activists oppose the very existence of Planned Parenthood simply because of the role it plays in providing abortions; it performed nearly 325,000 in 2008 alone. However, that’s not the point. Abortion debate aside, a controversial organization like Planned Parenthood should not receive a full third of its billion-dollar budget from taxpayers. For that matter, it shouldn’t receive any federal funding at all. Period. If Planned Parenthood can’t operate on the same playing field as every other private organization in the U.S. that doesn’t get an enormous check from Uncle Sam every year, then perhaps its activities aren’t quite as popular as its public relations department likes to pretend.
Far from waging a war against women, the Republicans in Congress are battling wasteful spending and defending workers’ right to decide how to spend or invest their earnings. In these difficult economic times, it’s downright absurd to argue that Person A should be forced to pay for Person B’s condoms or morning-after pills, which is exactly what Democrats are doing.
The only fair criticism of the move to defund Planned Parenthood is that it focuses on a lone vampire-like organization and ignores a multitude of others that are feeding at the public trough, as freshman Representative Justin Amash (R-MI) pointed out, following the vote. He would prefer to defund all organizations that provide abortions, and is not alone; survey respondents consistently indicate that they would prefer the government didn’t pay for abortions, regardless of their personal feelings about the procedure.
Last week’s vote is a tiny step in the right direction, when it comes to reducing the outrageous amount of the public’s money that the federal government doles out to various organizations and causes, but such steps are necessary if this nation is ever to be called “free” again.
WASHINGTON, Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, a leading voice for Latinos, today called on the House of Representatives to pass HR 3, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, sponsored by Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ), which creates a government-wide statutory prohibition on abortion funding. The bill would ensure that no federal funds pay for abortion in the U.S., and also prohibits federal funds from being used to promote and perform abortions overseas as a form of family planning.
“It’s time for the federal government to stop aiding and abetting abortion practitioners who are targeting our communities to kill our children. Twenty-two percent of abortions in the U.S. are performed on Hispanic women, and they are 2.7 times more likely to have an abortion than non-Hispanic white women,” saidAlfonso Aguilar, Executive Director of the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles. “Motivated by their warped eugenic views, Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers are clearly going after racial and ethnic minorities in the country.
“Latino voters need to be educated about the efforts of many in Congress and of the Obama Administration to continue allowing this inhumane attack on our community. Liberals have been able to hide this from Latinos for many years because they know the majority of Hispanics are pro-life. We’re going to put a stop to that.
“It’s important to note also that one of President Obama’s first acts when taking office in 2009 was to rescind President Bush’s Executive Order that prohibited federal funding of organizations that promote abortion abroad. Now, taxpayer money can be used to fund groups that promote abortion as a family planning method, even in developing countries where abortion is illegal. If Latinos, of which 40 percent of them are foreign-born, were to find out that this Administration is helping to actively promote abortion in their home countries, including Mexico, they would be outraged.”
