According to Romney- Santorum Responsible for ObamaCare

According to Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum is to blame for ObamaCare. In tonight’s CNN debate, Mitt stated that ObamaCare was passed solely because of Arlen Specter’s support.

Rick Santorum supported Arlen Specter, the notorious Benedict Arnold of the Republican party, over Pat Toomey in the 2004 Pennsylvania Senate race. At the time of the race, Specter was still a Republican, although only in the loosest interpretation of the party’s ideology. And Pat Toomey is, and was, vastly more conservative. The Republicans were in danger of losing their Senate majority in the 2004 election. Santorum’s reasoning for supporting Specter over Toomey was Specter’s position as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Specter guaranteed to support any candidate for the Supreme Court that Republicans put forward. Keeping a conservative majority on the Supreme Court was crucial in the eyes of the Republicans at the time. Santorum has said that he does not believe staunch conservative Justice Samuel Alito would have been confirmed without the aid of Specter.

Whether you agree with Santorum’s reasoning or not, the accusation that ObamaCare was passed solely because of Arlen Specter’s vote, at the hands of Rick Santorum, is absurd. First of all, Congress is made up of 535 individuals. Arlen Specter is one person. The Senate passed the bill 60 votes to 39. Notice that’s more than a one vote majority. Arlen Specter did vote for the bill, as a member of the Democratic party. However, had he voted no, the vote would have been 59 to 40. The Yea vote count of 59 in this hypothetical situation is still 9 more votes than the 50 needed for a simple majority for the passage of the bill. In other words, the passing of ObamaCare in the Senate did not hinge on Arlen Specter’s Yea vote. Romney also seems to conveniently forget that there is another body of Congress that passed the bill 219 to 212. President Obama also had to sign the bill into law.

The point- the passing of ObamaCare did not hinge on the vote of one person. This is a gross oversimplification of the American political system. ObamaCare was the product of a massive collaboration of the Democratic machine. It was plugged by Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and President Obama, just to name a few. Romney’s accusation that ObamaCare was passed solely because of Arlen Specter’s vote, and by extension, the endorsement of Rick Santorum is divisive party politics at his worst. The people of Pennsylvania voted for Arlen Specter. Specter is accountable to them. Not Rick Santorum. Specter does not vote based on the directions of Rick Santorum. Mitt Romney knows better than this. This kind of rhetoric is the calling card of the left, and if Romney expects to beat Obama in the election, he needs to present a clear distinction between the tactics of the left and the right. The American people deserve better than this.

After six years of comparing George W. Bush to Hitler, it looks like the Left has decided to compare Republican politicians to other notorious world leaders.  I can only only imagine that if Newt Gingrich gets the nomination, he might be compared to Genghis Khan.  Here’s Cenk Uygur comparing Rick Santorum to Benito Mussolini.

While the comparison in the video is definitely “old tone”, it does give preview to something we should expect, if Santorum gets the nomination.  The Left Wing and the mainstream media, both, will find every opportunity to paint the former Senator as Christian zealot, whether it’s fair or not.  President Obama’s defenders would much rather talk about Rick Santorum’s religious beliefs than they would the economy, and you don’t have to be a “lunatic” to believe that.

The word oxymoron is defined by Bing dictionary as being, an “expression with contradictory words:” a phrase in which two words of contradictory meaning are used together for special effect, e.g. “wise fool” or “legal murder”. (fools are not considered to be wise people and murder is never “legal”)

Number 10 on the oxymoron list comes to us via the group of 2012 GOP Presidential candidates, in the form of Rick Santorum. While Santorum is mainly running on the platform of being the non-Romney conservative alternative, an oxymoron has been used to better describe Mr. Santorum’s Senatorial voting record and when we look at that record, Mr. Santorum qualifies for the Number 10 oxymoron of the day: A Big Government Conservative.

Number 9 - Small Government Liberalism. This oxymoron is so outrageous that it surely sits right next to the “wise fool” oxymoron on the list of most contradictory statements ever written. Yet in California, ( the most Liberal state in the country) we see that a Mr. Matt Rozee  actually tries to pass himself off as a small government Liberal when running for Congress. He also claims to be an Executive Director at Fox in his bio. That should make those folks that criticize Fox News for appearing to veer left recently feel pretty good.

Number 8 - The Public Option becomes a ludicrous example of an oxymoron, when it is being used to promote the Liberal health-care “reforms” that basically forces everyone into a government-run health-care system where the only option people end up with is the government plan, simply because the government has put all the other health insurance companies out of business. A great example of another supposed “public option” is the option to pay taxes to support our current big government debt-spenders. The phrase, “no taxation without representation” comes to mind here.  In that case you have the option to pay your taxes and shut up.. or go to prison. Unless you are a member of Congress of course, such as Claire McCaskell (D-MO), Charlie Rangel (D-NY), or current Treasury Chief Timothy Geitner. We can now add Government Motors to the list of big government tyrants and crony-capitalists who do not have to pay taxes like the rest of America.

Number 7 –  Bureaucratic efficiency. This oxymoron is self-explanatory and would seem to be some kind of joke, if this country wasn’t $16 trillion dollars in debt and headed straight off the Greek-style debt cliff, like the plunge the once-great city of Detroit is currently undertaking. When it comes to big government  bureaucratic efficiency, today’s United States Post Office  serves up a heaping helping of reality as to how efficient a once-proud and stable organization becomes when the big government meddlers of Congress get involved.

Number 6Tolerant Liberal  becomes a great example of an oxymoron when we see this video of Rep Maxine Waters most recent expose’ of Congressional hate-speech and partisanship.

Number 5 – Secret Government Talks becomes an oxymoron when big government media manipulators use it to announce the secret meetings to the entire world, as we see in the article, ridiculously titled,  Afghanistan and US in secret talks with Taliban.  Everything qualifies as a big government secret that needs to be kept from the American taxpayers today, when we look at the recent refusal of the Obama administration to allow White House officials to  appear before Congress to explain how half a billion dollars were given to the bankrupt green energy  firm Solyndra.

Number 4 –  President Obama’s numerous campaign statements that he is working to reduce deficits and debt is a form of an oxymoron that is so far out of touch with reality that it is hard to understand just how he expects the American people to believe it. For the perfect example of this, please President Obama’s Budget Buffoonery. In that article, it shows how Obama’s latest budget proposal adds trillions of dollars of debt, and makes zero cuts to big government spending, all contrary to his thousands of recent [taxpayer-funded] campaign speeches about the need to cut the deficits and lower the national debt. Barack Obma has in fact piled more debt onto the backs of future generations of Americans in 3 1/2 years than G.W. Bush did in 8 full years in office. Obama’s debt chart can be seen in this article. Obama has piled on record debt in 3 straight years,’09, ’10, and ’11 and the 2012 deficit is now projected to once again be a whopping 1.32 trillion, and which the White House underestimated by 138%! Some folks could confuse Obama’s oxymoron about cutting deficits and debt with a blatant lie, designed to win reelection and hide his Liberal debt-spending of the past 3 1/2 years.

Number 3 – Accidentally on Purpose is a good example of an oxymoron that is mainly used as a form of sarcasm today. When looking at the debt-spending of Obama in number 4 above, while claiming that he is “reducing deficits and debt” a lot of Americans have now come to the conclusion that Obama is bankrupting America accidentally on purpose.

Number 2 –  Congressional Ethics has to be considered a flaming oxymoron today, when examining the current crop of corrupto-crats in Congress which include the following “honorable civil servants.”  Rep Alcee Hastings ( D-FL) who is the impeached federal judge who was found guilty of numerous corruption charges, yet has been re-elected to serve in Congress for 19 straight years! How about he above mentioned far left radical extremist and hate-speech generator, Maxine Waters (D-CA) who lobbied the White House for TARP money for her husbands bank illegally? When it comes to Congressional Ethics, the completely discredited former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi and her profiting from insider trading certainly ranks among the top ten in hypocritical hyperbole when it comes to congressional ethics.

Number 1 and the political oxymoron of the century has to go to the statement that “Barack Hussein Obama is the most gifted speaker in the history of U.S. politics,” while the only speaking the current campaigner-in-chief does in public ever since he was elected. is to read words written by other’s and inserted into a teleprompter.  While Obama might qualify as a “gifted speech reader,” reading from a teleprompter hardly qualifies him for the most gifted speaker in U.S. history award. Romney & Santorum Decline, Thus, March 1st Debate Now Cancelled

Erick Erickson created a buzz this afternoon after tweeting former Massachusetts Governor and Presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney, would not be participating in the Georgia Republican Party/CNN debate on March 1.

The Atlanta Journal Consitution picked up on it as well, stating Romney officials told CNN about their decision  to bow out earlier today.

Chris Kelleher, from the Georgia Republican Party’s Communications team told us he has heard the same reports, but nothing has been communicated to the GA GOP.  And if it’s true? “It’s a shame the votes of Georgia and Ohio, who have the biggest delegations at the convention, won’t get to hear from him,” he said.

Bottom line? “The debate is moving forward and we’re looking forward to it,” Kelleher stated.

UPDATE: As per Sarah Boxer from CBS New Jersey, neither Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum will be participating in the March 1 debate.

In a truly bold move the Gingrich campaign is featuring Callista, The Other Woman 2.0

Friday’s session of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was crucial for Republican presidential candidates, but it started with an audition for Vice President.

Our own Gov. Bob McDonnell proved once again if you want a VP candidate who is not teleprompter dependent and has not expressed strong feelings regarding the very poor, McDonnell is just your man.

Much of McDonnell’s speech obliquely stressed his Vice Presidential qualifications by running through his resume and focusing on his administration’s record.

McDonnell characterized the election as choice between Constitutionally limited government and a constantly expanding federal government. McDonnell concluded by saying his family came to the US from Ireland, and 100 years later he sits in the governor’s office holding the same position held by Thomas Jefferson.

Which, come to think of it, also applies to the office of Vice President.

Four years ago Mitt Romney withdrew from the race during his speech at the conference, this year he wanted to use a CPAC speech to revive it. After suffering three consecutive primary losses to Rick Santorum, Romney needed a strong rebound and straw poll victory before an audience filled with many people skeptical of his conservatism and commitment to the cause.

Romney described the Obama administration as the “last gasp of liberalism’s great failure.” And he urged the participants to “reaffirm what it means to be conservative.”

This involves a reverence for the founding document, “Conservatives aren’t just proud to cling to our guns and religion, we are also proud to cling to our Constitution,” Romney declared to enthusiastic applause.

One of the biggest applause lines of the afternoon came when he declared he’s been successful in business and he’s not ashamed to say so. Romney assured the audience, “I’ve served in government, but I didn’t inhale. I’m still a business guy.”

Santorum’s goal was to establish himself as the only viable alternative to Romney and consolidate the ABM (anyone but Mitt) vote. Santorum explained, “Conservatism did not fail our country. Conservatives failed conservatism.” Specifically by adopting the philosophy that winning is more important than staying true to your principles, a veiled reference to John McCain. “We’ve learned our lesson,” Santorum said. “We will no longer abandon and apologize for the principles that made this country great.”

Santorum addressed his chances by downplaying the influence of money, of which he has little, and stressing the power of contrasts. “We aren’t going to win with money. We’re going to win with contrasts, by making Barack Obama and his failed policies the issue in this race.”

For Newt Gingrich the presidential campaign is a four–letter word and that word is BOLD. Bold ideas. Bold plans. Bold solutions. Bold politics.

“When the conservative movement offers bold solutions, it wins decisively. I want to talk about bold solutions to get America working again,” Newt boldly announced.

Gingrich intends for the entire GOP congressional establishment to campaign with him this fall, which will require a large fleet of buses and a huge block of rooms on the cruise ship. And in the few days between the swearing in of the new Congress and Newt’s Bold presidential oath of office, he has a to–do list for Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader (he hopes) Mitch McConnell. Newt expects both houses to pass bills repealing Obamacare, Sarbanes–Oxley and Dodd–Frank.

So by signing these bills in the first 20 minutes of his new administration Newt can expunge 40 percent of the late Obama administration. Then Gingrich can really get to work with Bold executive orders: approve the Keystone pipeline, move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, reinstate the Mexico City policy banning the expenditure of tax dollars for abortions in other countries and break ground on the moon colony.

Then he plans to pause for lunch.

Gingrich’s speech also included a larger role for Callista, the new wife, who introduced him to a tepid audience response. This probably marks the first time in campaign history The Other Woman 2.0 has been brought out of hiding and used in a prominent role, which really does qualify as Bold.

The result of Saturday’s straw poll was good for two of the three candidates. Romney won with 38 percent of the vote, followed by Santorum at 31 percent. Gingrich was a very poor third, barely beating Ron Paul — who did not attend the conference — 15 percent to 12 percent.

The conclusion is Romney can speak “conservative;” and head–to–head in a setting where ad spending and organization does not matter; Santorum is a viable ABM alternative.

Unfortunately for Santorum those conditions don’t apply in the vast majority of remaining primaries.

Perversion Rampant in America: Sponsored By Obama and Congress

Can things really get any worse in our nation? Planned Parenthood, “the bastion of breast cancer screening”, is beginning their “National Condom Week” today, Wednesday February 15, 2012. How asinine can anyone get to have a national condom week and celebrate it with such ballyhoo? Is Mr. Condom a national hero or something? Congressional Medal of Honor winner, maybe? Inventor of some life-saving device that will revolutionize life in America and the world?

Martin Luther King only has one day, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln have to share a day, and Condom gets an entire week to himself? What genius thought this up? Only a person with a heart as black as Satan’s could come up with a plan such as this to pervert our children and only people with hearts as black as Satan’s could stand by and let it happen without so much as a whimper of protest.

Sadly Mr. Condom is a perverted character created and honored by Planned Parenthood to destroy another generation of children. In the video, “Hooking Kids on Sex”, they have a section showing 10 year olds how to masturbate and how to install a condom for sexual intercourse. HELLOOOOOOO!!!! Is teaching them to read, write, and count too much trouble or are those just insignificant items the kids don’t need any more?

The real kicker to this is that my tax money, and your tax money, is paying for this trash. Is there anyone in Washington today with any brains or morals at all? Why is this going on? Where are Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul on this? Rick Santorum has stood up and spoken out against the Obama regime’s immoral despotism; and all he gets is grief from the propaganda arms of both political parties and his fellow “conservatives” in the presidential primary race and the so-called “conservative” media.

Where are John McCain and Lindsey Graham on “National Condom Week”? Are they still trying to figure out how they voted to remove the military restrictions against sodomy and bestiality in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011? Where are John Boehner and Mitch McConnell? As Sgt. Carter used to say to Gomer Pyle: “I can’t hear you!!!!!”

Where are the conservatives in Congress who seem to have lost their voices since Obama took over and became Dictator-in-Chief and President for Life of the National Socialist State of Amerika? How many adult men and women are in prison or on sexual predator lists for less offensive actions than this? Is this part of the Islamification of America? Islam hangs homosexuals but an adult man “teaching” a 10 year old boy about sex is just fine. Hypocrisy and perversion go hand-in-hand in the Muslim world. Is this the reason we are seeing this happen here, getting us ready?

The federal government is out of control and no one in Washington is doing anything to stop it. We hear little mouse squeaks from time to time but nothing really substantial, nothing to stand up and cheer about. An entire generation of Americans is being taught perversion and immorality without any opposition from anyone in Congress, the courts, or the media. Our elected “leaders” sit by quietly and allow this to go on because they are afraid of being called “racist” or “closed minded” or “intolerant”? Where are the leaders in government? (Hint: the Republicrats are hiding under their desks not wanting to be seen or heard on this).

The sad truth is that our government is staffed with evil, self-centered, narcissistic despots who are more interested in their own well-being than that of the citizens of this once great nation. As happened in Venezuela we are seeing a despot run over members of Congress who are either so evil that they are complicit or so cowardly evil they are afraid to speak up for fear of receiving criticism from the “enlightened” media.

Hell has come to America and we are seeing it in National Condom Week and the Komen foundation backing down from a moral stance to appease the most evil people in the world. Judgment is coming to America and we find our nation trying to “go along to get along” with the most evil, black hearted people to ever walk the face of this earth.

Adolph Hitler murdered 12 million innocent Jews, Christians, Gypsies, Slavs, Poles, Homosexuals, etc. during his reign of terror in Europe. How many innocent babies has Planned Parenthood murdered while Congress and multiple presidential administrations not only stood by and watched, but gladly paid for those murders? Now the goal is to expand into perverting and sexually abusing our children, and using We the People to pay for it.

Appeasing evil is never a winning proposition. We finally destroyed Adolph Hitler and his evil regime but only after Neville Chamberlain’s “peace in our time” brought the world to the brink of destruction and cost the lives of an estimated 100 million people.

Our federal government is a diseased animal that needs a dose of anti-biotic strong enough to kill the germs that infect it. We can no longer stand by and allow this to happen to our children. The most innocent of our nation are being sold into slavery, the slavery of perversion that they may never recover from.

If this is allowed to stand then I demand that every child molester and child rapist be immediately released from prison. How can men and women be held in prison for sex crimes while this is allowed to happen unfettered; and even condoned by our country’s elected “leaders” and paid for by tax money?

The worst element in all of this is the apathy of the American people. Who will bother to write to demand something be done? Who will call their member of Congress to insist they charge Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebelius, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, et al. with genocide, taking indecent liberties with a minor, child sexual assault, and a host of other criminal charges?

Unless We the People stand up and take an active role of leadership in America we are going to very soon find ourselves living in the FEMA camps they built in 2009 under SB 645, and are staffing right now with money provided by the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011. If American citizens; Christians, Jews, and even atheists and agnostics can’t see what is wrong with this then we are indeed a nation lost to Satan.

To show how much our nation suffers from apathy let me give you an example. I was running for a local school board position, a first-timer in a political race, and lost to the incumbent by a substantial margin. As disappointed as I am to have lost the race I am more disappointed in how I lost. There are in the neighborhood of 10,000 eligible voters in this school district. How many votes were cast? 368, or 3% of eligible voters. If I had won the election I would be only slightly happier. The depth of “I don’t care” from the voters of this nation is the most disappointing thing of all to me. Judgment will fall heavier on those who do nothing than it will on those who fight the battle. Even if those of us willing to fight the battle lose the battle, we will still have stood up for what Jesus called “the least of my flock”.

As our nation teeters on the edge of oblivion only a small percentage of those who can vote will vote. Many of those casting ballots in November will be either corpses or fictional cartoon characters. Such a sad commentary for a nation forged in the blood of those who were willing to die for even a glimpse of a chance to vote for their future.

A “shining city on a hill” has become a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, ripe for the judgment of God and subjugation by an evil so dark it makes a black hole in space look like the sun.

Copies of this are going to the entire Oklahoma Congressional delegation. I hope you will do the same in your state. Stand up now, tomorrow will be too late.

Rick Santorum Makes Townhall Appearance in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum made an appearance at the Oral Roberts University Mabee Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma this afternoon after a campaign stop in Oklahoma City this morning. Santorum began his remarks with encouragement for a man who had an unknown medical emergency just as the event was to start. He also spoke of the importance of the prayers offered up by the staff of Oral Roberts University when the announcement was made that a medical emergency was in progress. The exact problem has not been announced but several doctors, EMS Technicians, and firefighters worked on the victim for abut 15 minutes before taking him to an ambulance.

In his address, he spoke of the situation in Syria and the consequences of a lack of action on the part of the administration. He also addressed Barack Obama’s disdain for life and faith in his attitudes towards religious institutions and abortion, and his disregard of the freedoms we hold dear. Santorum spoke of the uniqueness of America, the need to return to the tenets of the Constitution, the operator’s manual of our nation. He said this nation is the cornerstone of civilized society because of our Constitution. He spoke of our founding fathers taking their inspiration from the bible to craft a document that acknowledge God as giving us our freedoms, not government. He talked about and quoted the Declaration of Independence, which says; “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness”. He reiterated that our freedoms come from God not government. If government gives us our rights then government can take those rights back. Santorum spoke of how the French Revolution had tried a similar method but chose “Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity”, a system which ended up with the guillotine.

Mr. Santorum spoke also of tolerance and the difference between conservative Christian tolerance and that of the leftists in our nation. He said Christian people accept every nationality, every religion, and every aspect of life. He told the assembled there that no other nation anywhere in the world is as tolerant of so many varied aspects of humanity as is America. He also pointed out that those on the left who claim to be tolerant have no tolerance for anyone who does not totally agree with their specific views of a subject.

Santorum covered the energy issue, and its relation to the global warming issue of environmentalists. He brought up the Keystone pipeline and the fact that there are hundreds of pipelines crossing this country, including in the area now made off limits by Obama. He told the assembled crowd that if the oil is not brought to America it would go to the west coast of Canada and be sent to China, costing America jobs and cost efficient fuel. He also spoke if his support of energy independence from the beginning, not just lately.

Santorum also spoke of the War on Terror and how it is not winnable because we can’t win a war against a tactic. He told the 5,000 or more in the audience that warring against terror would be like warring against the Nazi tactic of “blitzkrieg”. America wasn’t fighting against blitzkrieg; it was fighting against Adolph Hitler and Nazi Germany. In the same sense, Santorum said, America today is fighting against radical Islamists. He made the distinction that we are not fighting against all Muslims, but those who desire to kill all those who do not accept Islam as their faith.

In a Townhall type segment, several students of Oral Roberts University were given the opportunity to ask questions of Santorum. The first question came from a student who wanted to know what the differences were between Santorum’s foreign policy and that of Ron Paul. Santorum replied that the difference was that he had a foreign policy and Ron Paul did not. He went on to say that Paul’s ideas of pulling all of our military back into the United States would leave a vacuum that would be filled by someone. He pointed out that the void is being filled in Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood and that has resulted in Americans being held hostage. Santorum said we need to have a presence in the world if there is any chance of many people to ever experience freedom. He pointed out that many people in Iran love America but that when they tried to stand up and gain their freedom from an oppressive regime that Obama stood by idly while they were crushed.

A student who identified himself as the president of the student Democrats asked Santorum about Obamacare. He wanted to know why Santorum was against the plan when the Catholic Church, of which Santorum is a member, accepted the plan. The student said that the Pope actually came out and said health care was a right so how was Santorum standing against it. Santorum replied that the opportunity to purchase health care is indeed a right but that government mandating that everyone buy insurance and also mandating what the policy would include or leave out was not freedom of choice, it was dictating a policy to be enforced by fining those who did not comply. He said that religious freedom must be gauged by a combination of conscience and practicality that had to be balanced for the sake of freedom.

The last questioner was a young lady who asked the candidate how he would deal with the attacks that would come from the Obama regime in the general election. Santorum stated that he had a message that would resonate with Americans and that any Republican candidate can expect the same attacks from Obama, that he would not face anything different that what is being put out now from Obama.

After the Townhall meeting Santorum stated in an interview on Tulsa’s KRMG radio that Tulsa has had the biggest and most enthusiastic crowd to attend an event so far in the campaign.

As the final Colorado vote counts were coming in late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning, confirming that Rick Santorum scored a hat trick against his Republican competitors, it was becoming clear that a sea change is occurring within the GOP race.

More than before, it’s now arguable that the inevitability of Mitt Romney’s candidacy is a fallacy. This opinion has been long espoused by Republican grassroots activists across the country. Now there are numbers to back it up.

Santorum has now won four out of the eight contests. He has victories in four contests compared to three for Romney. He beat Romney by 30 points in the key manufacturing Battleground State of Missouri.

Rick Santorum also accomplished another key task on Tuesday February 7, 2012. He dispelled the myth that Newt Gingrich is the only Conservative alternative to Mitt Romney. Of the four remaining candidates, the voters in Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado appeared to agree that Santorum has the most consistent Conservative track record on the issues.

Issues…remember them? Not, whose investments were most intricately woven into the Fannie Mae fabric or whose money a trustee handles. Real issues, not, who spent the most money destroying their opponents with dug up half-truth dirt.

Real issues.

Santorum has stuck to the issues that matter. Issues like supporting the exceptional American idea of self-governance, personal responsibility and individual liberty. Issues like reigniting America’s economy, creating jobs and reducing our dependence on OPEC by developing domestic energy. Like reducing America’s trade imbalance while increasing IRS revenues by implementing tax policies that stimulate job creation within the manufacturing sector. Like reducing spending, lowering taxes and cutting regulations. Like national and border security. Issues like Second Amendment rights. Issues like freedom of religion.

In all four of his victories, candidate Santorum compensated for his relative lack of funds by spending time talking with people and listening to their concerns.

What a concept, a presidential candidate who actually speaks with and listens to the people. Instead of taking into a microphone, giving a speech filled with platitudes and applause lines before moving on to the next fund raising photo op campaign stop.

Rick Santorum’s sweep changes the race on many levels and in many ways. It shows that Mitt Romney is not necessarily the inevitable GOP candidate. It indicates that the Conservative alternative is not presumably Newt Gingrich. It demonstrates that despite his almost fanatically devoted loyal following, Ron Paul can be beaten in Caucus State races. It shows that candidates can win by running a positive campaign based on real issues that concern the electorate. That a candidate can win by talking with and listening to the voters instead of talking at them.

Most importantly, it shows that We The People will decide who the GOP nominee and eventual President will be, not the liberally biased media, not establishment Republicans, not SuperPACs, not Wall Street bankers, not Chicago style intimidation, not George Soros, not the Koch brothers.

Despite massive amounts of power, money and influence seeking it’s destruction, it’s not yet time for government of the people, by the people and for the people to perish from the earth.

Santorum's Sweep of 3 [Non-Binding] Caucuses Proves He is the Only Conservative Running?

At least that is what the political operatives were saying last night on Fox News, especially Charles Krauthammer while he was on the O’Reilly show. This comes after CK stated that Santorum is the first “admirably worthy conservative alternative” to Mitt Romney in the Washington Post  back on Jan. 5.  Today, the big political “news” is that Rick Santorum has swept all three of last night’s caucuses/fake [non-binding] primaries in Missouri, Colorado and Minnesota. Brett Bair (also of Fox News) referred to these three caucuse/primary votes last night as non-binding beauty contests, with no actual delegates being won by a victory. For the rest of this week, expect to hear such flowery phrases as “Santorum has gained momentum and could see a campaign fundraising boost”  or  “Santorum is the conservative alternative to Mitt [ Jello} Romney,” blah blah blah.  This is the political dog and pony show of faux sensationalistic media circus acts that sadly passes as news reporting today. Is it any wonder that people are so politically uninformed today that they would elect a junior Senator from the political corruption capitol of the world as the President of the United States on an undefined “Hope and Change” fraud? In a nutshell, yes it does and yes they did.

Mr. Krauthammer is largely considered to be a brilliant political analyst with excellent oratory skills today. Keeping that in mind, how do his “Santorum is a worthy conservative” statements stack up against Senator Rick Santorum’s actual voting record?  Not very well, if you were brave enough to check out the truth in that fact-sheet. Krauthammer appears to have fallen into the exact same category of the once respectable conservative pundit and leftist basher extraordinaire, Ms. Ann Coulter. That would be the “say anything for a buck and to get attention while ignoring true conservative principles” category that Coulter exhibits today in her “vote for the proven conservative Mitt Romney campaign.”  Is she referring to this Mitt Romney,  when she went on her recent tirade of praising Romneycare  after trashing it back in November?  Ann Coulter’s recent flip-flop off the conservative high dive into the “elect the only candidate who is moderate enough to beat Barack Obama” cess pool of say-anything-for-a-buck irresponsibility, is an astounding about-face. When Coulter speaks about the mob-mentality that she has explained in recent books so often, maybe there should be a chapter titled “Us flip-floppers have to stick together.”

As far as Charles Krauthammer goes, he has to try to protect his high-paying, high-wire conservative commentary act [and reputation], while also putting out enough controversial statements, [see Santorum is a worthy conservative above] that gain attention, TV viewers, and readers, to justify his next fat contract with Fox News. The fact remains that, as proven in the above-linked article on Santorum’s voting record, he is a proven big-government conservative. How’s that for the ultimate in oxymorons?

Finally, the only proven conservative in the GOP candidate field, Newt Gingrich is being trampled, lied about, and smeared by the likes of Coulter, Krauthammer and the establishment GOP in true Democratic Attack Machine  fashion.  Is Newt Gingrich really a proven conservative?  This article  shows us just what Gingrich accomplished in a very tough political environment. Despite the D.A.M. lies and misinformation about the balanced budgets during Speaker Gingriches tenure, (which are heavily promoted in most browser searches) this article points  out just why Gingrich is a danger to the old guard, establishment GOP that has had a big hand in our trillion-dollar-deficits.

Amid all the tax-cutting and agency consolidations (in Newt’s plans if elected POTUS) would come a return to a fiscal policy that he said emanates “directly from the Reagan playbook.”

“I think these kinds of steps would move us toward a very dramatic job growth, which is the best way to move towards a balanced budget—by getting people off of unemployment, off of Medicaid, off of food stamps, get them back into earning a living and paying taxes,” he said.

Gingrich wants to limit the size and scope of government, which would cut off the big government grifters entrenched in DC from buying votes and influence with taxpayer dollars. Gingrich also wants to limit the government to spending less what they take in each year, as in creating a true balanced budget, yet the mainstream media talking points never include these important facts.  Our government has gotten so big that we are now approaching $16 trillion dollars in debt, which equals our entire GDP.

Ask Greece how that scenario works out. They too, ignored the serious-minded fiscally conservative candidates for the last 20 years or so, only to elect moderates just like Mitt Romney and numerous” big government conservatives”  like Rick Santorum. Barack Obama has loaded up the back seat of the failed Chevy Volt with our entire economy and will drive it right off the Greek-style debt cliff if given another four years. Electing so-called “electable moderates” and “big government conservatives” will also crash and burn the U.S economy just like the firebomb now known as the Chevy Volt will do, when it plunges off the debt cliff and hits rock bottom.
