CAIR Says Muslims Voting for Obama

As if you didn’t need another excuse to not vote for Barack Obama, here comes a wonderful one. According to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), 68% of Muslims polled will vote for Obama. There are 25% still undecided, but it’s doubtful that particular group will end up swaying toward Romney.

Of course, this should come as no surprise to anyone. The rest of the numbers from CAIR’s poll are slightly interesting, but all in all, this poll is yet another indication of the disconnect between this administration, and reality. CAIR has been repeatedly mentioned in the context of assisting, or at the very least, sympathizing with radical Muslims worldwide. In spite of this poll claiming that 55% of their respondents consider themselves “moderate”, one must take that with a grain of salt. Is that a statement of political thinking, or religious belief, or both? And, as it’s been posited before, is there really any such thing as a moderate Muslim? Of course there are many individuals out there that follow the tenets of Islam, and claim to be opposed to radicals in their midst. However, organized groups of moderate Muslims speaking against violence in the name of their faith are few and far between.

Before any of the conservative fringe starts the whole “Obama is a Muslim” meme, it is wise to think twice. Bluntly, it’s old, crazy, and has done absolutely nothing for the conservative cause. However, pointing out that the necessarily small group that CAIR has polled overwhelmingly support Obama is just fine. And it is meaningful, especially given the events that have been unfolding in the Middle East and North Africa. It is appropriate to assume that Muslims in America relatively mirror their counterparts in that region when it comes to who they would like to see in the White House after this election. Liberals have been trying to play rhetorical games with the now infamous conservative refrain about the “Apology Tour” in 2009. For the record, it was never about the exact words Obama used, but the tone in every speech and meeting with world leaders. Muslims interpreted that as weakness, and there is no doubt that they would prefer to have a weak man in the White House, as opposed to a strong one. We should have learned by now that when offered an olive branch, Islamic radicals offer a sword in return. And moderate Muslims stand by in silence, not wanting to have that sword turned on them. As for CAIR, like the Muslim Brotherhood, they just stand by and watch as the Islamic terrorists attack.

U.S. Embassy in Yemen Surrounded

Hundreds of Islamic protesters surrounded the U.S. Embassy to Yemen in San’a on Thursday displaying anti-American sentiment , chanting “death to America”, burning the U.S. flag and in-general protesting the United States.

Yemeni security forces are reported to have fired warning shots, used tear gas and riot batons to push the crowd back from the Embassy after a few protesters climbed the outer walls, reached the inner wall and replaced the embassy’s American flag with the familiar black Islamic faith flag. No protesters breached the actual main embassy building.

Shortly after attempted breach, one protester was reportedly shot and killed by Yemen security forces.

A senior Yemeni official stated that security personnel have been given orders to shoot any protester carrying weapons although no weapons have yet been seen.

Some protesters could be heard shouting “Not our Prophet! He is a red line!” in unison indicating that the protest might be religiously motivated. Yemen’s Islah religious fundamentalist political party denied organizing today’s protest.

Yemen is home of Al-Qaida, the terrorist network responsible for the 9-11 attacks, the U.S.S. Cole bombing and numerous attacks on U.S. facilities such as that in Libya yesterday. On Tuesday, it was announced that the number 2 man in Al-Qaida was killed some time ago by a U.S. Airstrike. This announcement correlates closely with the ratcheting up of protests to violent activity.

The embassy in San’a had its security drastically upgraded after the Al-Qaida attacks in 2008 that killed 19 people.

Democrat Calls for Hearings on Radical Christianity

David Edwards at The Raw Story reports that Congressman Al Green feels that committee hearings on radical Islam might be more even-handed if Congress would hold hearings on radical Christianity as well.

Texas Congressman Al Green (D) says he wouldn’t mind Rep. Peter King (R-NY) repeatedly calling hearings on “radical Islam” if he would also conduct a “hearing on the radicalization of Christians.”

Green expressed concern that the proceedings were focusing only on one religion. Of course, we haven’t had a whole bunch of trouble with radical Jews flying planes into American skyskrapers, there hasn’t been a rash of radicalized Baptists murdering service men and women on American bases nor have there been a wave of Catholic suicide bombers blowing themselves up in marketplaces.

To be fair, Congressman Green at first was not only calling for hearings on radical Christians. He felt that we should have hearings on all kinds of religious radicals without a special focus on Muslims.  But before long, Rep. Green went straight after those who worship Christ.

People who see the hearings and never hear about the hearing on the radicalization of Christianity have to ask themselves, ‘Why is this missing?’ Why don’t we go to the next step and ask, how is that a blue-eyed, blonde-haired, white female in the United States of America can become radicalized to the point of wanting to do harm to this country? We don’t have that type of hearing. That’s the problem.”

This is a sad extension of political correctness. Of course Congress is looking into Muslim radicalization in America as it poses a proven (time and again) threat to the safety and well-being of United States Citizens and U.S. property. It isn’t a statement that all Muslims are a danger, but that radicalization within the Muslim faith should be seriously regarded as a threat.

As if their credibility was unquestioned, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued an analysis of Rep. Peter King, the chair of the committee holding the hearing. In it, CAIR concluded that King should be discredited because the group found him to have an anti-Muslim bias. Shocker. Really.

Back in March, The Daily Beast also tried to discredit the hearings:

Is most American terrorism Muslim terrorism? Actually, no. Over the last decade or so, there’s been at least as much domestic terrorism by folks like Timothy McVeigh, Theodore Kaczynski, Eric Rudolph (who bombed the 1996 Atlanta Olympics)

A key point missed by the extreme liberal publication was that McVeigh, Kaczynski and Rudolph, while not Muslim, were also not radicalized Christians or Jews or whatever. There was no massive, organized effort to turn those three men into maniacs nor was their a connection between them.

In closing, the Beast just couldn’t resist making a reference to Conservatives as racists:

I once ate a Shabbat meal in Salt Lake City, where my hosts—staunch Republicans and Orthodox Jews—talked with wonder about the extreme courtesy with which their Mormon neighbors accommodated their religious needs. Conservatives, they explained, were actually more tolerant of minority faiths than liberals. I’d like to believe that a Muslim family in Utah or Alabama could say the same today.

Nothing like a generalization to get an errant point across.. Conservatives are by nature tolerant- individual liberty depends on the respect of individual liberties and freedoms. Where Conservatives differ is when a group targets their families, homes and businesses. Americans of every faith or no faith are free to do as they please in America. Conservatives don’t harbor ill will on Muslims – just the ones aspiring to blow themselves up amid our families one day – the radicalized Muslims.

‘The Third Jihad’ Producers Claim CAIR and New York Times Collaboration

NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The producers of the critically-acclaimed documentary, The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision for America, have produced a new short video exposing the recent New York Times and Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) campaign to smear The Third Jihad.

The new short video entitled Anatomy of a Smear is available online at http://www.thethirdjihad.com

The Third Jihad was recently the subject of debate when the New York Times rehashed a year-old story that the New York Police Department (NYPD) was using the film in its counter-terrorism training program.

Anatomy of a Smear documents the blatant inaccuracies, misquotes, omissions and innuendos of New York Times articles and editorials aimed at discrediting The Third Jihad as “hateful” and Islamophobic.

“Claims that The Third Jihad is an anti-Islam film are ignorant and misinformed,” says Raphael Shore, Producer of The Third Jihad.  “Those that have blasted the film are attempting to stifle an important debate about the internal state of the Muslim community in America, and whether politicized Islam and indoctrination pose tangible security threats,” Shore said.

The Third Jihad, narrated by devout Muslim and US Navy veteran Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, opens with the following frame in bold letters for all viewers to read: “This is not a film about Islam.  It is about the threat of radical Islam.  Only a small percentage of the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims are radical.”

The new video, Anatomy of a Smear demonstrates how the New York Times and CAIR campaign is a real-time example of cultural jihad, a strategy to use the banner of political correctness to manipulate American institutions and culture, the very subject of The Third Jihad.

As part of the campaign, CAIR called for the resignation of NYPD commissioner Raymond Kelly, one of many high-level interviewees featured in the film.  The Brennan Center for Justice, who is cited as a source by the Times then published its own opinion piece calling for an independent inspector general to “police the NYPD.”

CAIR itself has established terror ties, as documented in The Third Jihad, and was designated by the U.S. Justice Department as an unindicted co-conspirator/joint-venturer in the Holy Land Foundation Trial, the largest terror-funding trial in America’s history.

The Third Jihad has received significant praise outside of the New York Times articles, including by American Muslim leaders.

A recent statement by the American Islamic Leadership Council reads, “We have viewed The Third Jihad, and regard the information presented therein to be both factually accurate, and important for our fellow Muslim and non-Muslim citizens to understand, debate and address. The Third Jihad explicitly distinguishes between the religion of Islam, and the highly politicized ideology of religious hatred, supremacy and violence characteristic of political Islam, often referred to as ‘Islamism.'”

Rudy Giuliani called the film, “a wake up call for America.”

“It is imperative that The Third Jihad reaches a mass audience in the U.S. so that the urgency of this threat becomes clear to the American public,” said US Rep. Ros-Lehtinen (FL), Chairwoman of the House Foreign Relations Committee.

Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl (AZ) said, “The Third Jihad alerts Americans to the dangers of Islamic radicalization in our own communities. Zuhdi Jasser is sounding the alarm before it is too late.”

“We hope that the general public will consider the sensitive content in the film, and will not simply accept the baseless innuendos being made in the media.  We invite the general public to watch and judge the documentary for themselves,” Shore said.

The Third Jihad is now available for free viewing online at http://www.thethirdjihad.com.

New Book on Radical Islam Declares: ‘This Is the War of Our Generation!’

Dr. Jim Denison Explains to Westerners ‘Why Muslims Still Hate Us, What We Can Do’

DALLAS, July 26, 2011 — On the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, author and educator Jim Denison explains in his new book, “Radical Islam: What You Need to Know,” that the greatest threat our children have ever faced is Muslim extremism. “The battle waged against the West by radical Muslims is the war of our generation,” Denison says. “Killing bin Laden doesn’t end this war.”

James C. Denison, Ph.D., is a cultural apologist, building a bridge between faith and culture by engaging contemporary issues with historical, scientific and biblical truth. He founded the Denison Forum on Truth and Culture (DFTC) in February 2009 and writes for “The Dallas Morning News,” contributing weekly to the “Texas Faith Forum.” He currently serves on the board of the Baylor Health Care System and as chair of the advisory board for Dallas Baptist University. Denison is former senior pastor of Park Cities Baptist Church, a 10,000-member congregation in Dallas.

Dr. Denison’s daily cultural commentary is made available around the world to thousands of subscribers. It offers a faith perspective on topics as varied as medical ethics, the 2012 election, the Casey Anthony trial, gay marriage and many more topics.

“The events of 9/11 are still painfully raw for many,” said Dr. Abraham Sarker, former Muslim and founder and president, Gospel for Muslims, who has worked alongside Denison in his native Bangladesh. “Ten years later, questions remain about the world’s fastest-growing religion and the worldview of its 1.6 billion adherents. Jim Denison’s book provides a timely, insightful interpretation of this movement in our times. His understanding of radical Islam is accurate and balanced. His intellectual brilliance and excellent communication skills engage and support readers in navigating these complex issues.”

“Radical Islam” begins with a look at Osama bin Laden, the Al Qaeda leader killed in May in a U.S. Special Forces raid in Pakistan, and examines the ramifications of bin Laden’s death, including whether it was just. The book goes on to explain what distinguishes radical Islam from the rest of the Muslim world, then addresses basic questions: “Where was God on 9/11?” and “How Do We Win This War?”

“It’s been my privilege to know and befriend Muslims from six continents through respectful dialogue over the past 30 years,” said Denison. “But the fact remains that the threat of radical Islam is even more real and dangerous than it was 10 years ago. Osama bin Laden is dead, but his story isn’t over. His followers are more resolved than ever.

“This book is a primer that tells Westerners what they need to know about this threat, why radical Muslims still hate us and what we can do about it.”

Denison briefly touches on basic Muslim beliefs before focusing on the two tenets that distinguish radical Islam. First, extremists contend the West has been attacking Islam since the Crusades, and therefore Islam must be defended through violent attacks. Second, radical Muslims believe all Westerners are complicit in the ongoing siege of Islam because of their participation in a democratic society, and therefore in terrorist attacks on the West there are no innocent victims.

Faced with this worldview, Denison writes, both Christians and secular Westerners must act. He offers practical ideas on how to handle the threat, including praying for Muslims and supporting Christians from Muslim backgrounds.

“Radical Islam” will be available in August as a trade paperback for $13.99 and distributed by Wescott Marketing. It also will be available as an e-book Aug. 15 through all major e-book sales sites.

The first chapter, which explores bin Laden’s life and whether his death was just, along with an opportunity to subscribe to Dr. Denison’s daily cultural commentary, are available at http://www.dftc.co/presskit.

“Radical Islam” is the first in the “Unlocking the Truth” series of books offering a spiritual perspective on key cultural issues facing America. Denison is also the author of six books, including the most recent, “Wrestling with God: How Can I Love a God I’m Not Sure I Can Trust?” by Tyndale House Publishers.

The Denison Forum on Truth and Culture (DFTC) (http://www.denisonforum.org) exists to engage contemporary culture with moral truth. Founded by Dr. Jim Denison in 2009, the Forum responds to issues through a variety of communications and channels, including a column in “The Dallas Morning News,” daily online cultural commentary, Baylor Health Care System board membership, books, articles and speaking engagements.

Allen West vs. CAIR Round 2

Rep. Allen West held a town-hall meeting last night in Florida, and once again a representative from CAIR showed up with their standard leftist talking points disguised as questions. If  you missed the beginning of this ideological battle between LCT West and CAIR you can see it here. In keeping with CAIR’s leftist tactics of trying to discredit/ marginalise a true American Patriot such as 22-year military vet Rep. Allen West, we see that West does not back down an inch from the truth being told. This man has been there and done that, he has seen firsthand the dangers and oppression inherent in the Radical Ideology and no one is going to *blow smoke up his butt* and tell him otherwise.

Recently, a bus in Israel was blown up, one woman killed and many more injured by the so-called religion of peace. The Fogel family was murdered and a 3-year old baby had his throat slit by these same fanatics operating under the guidelines of Jihadist war against non-Muslims that is outlined in the Koran. CAIR can send every leftist-talking-point propagandist they have in their arsenal at West, but this true Patriot Warrior will never back down. Hold your ground Colonel, we have your back. In the meantime, tighten up your security, and keep your M1911 .45 handy, as these people do not like being exposed by infidels who will not bend to their will.  America needs true leadership, so watch your back please.

After being made complete fools of in their first encounter with Col. West, one would think CAIR would have learned from that tactical mistake, but no, in keeping with the leftist tactics of trying to discredit anyone with an opposite view, they sentanother misguided puppet of Islam to do try to engage in a battle of  will against Col. West once again last night. The results were quite the same, as we saw in round one of this battle of attrition, in the above linked video. Here is the West vs CAIR puppets round 2 video:

With true Patriotic Americans such as Rep. Allen West fighting for America, it certainly does look like we are Winning the Future for all Americans.
