Mohamed Morsi has been removed as president of Egypt

After vowing that he would not leave office yesterday, Mohammed Morsi has been removed as president of Egypt. The constitution of that nation has been suspended, and the chief justice of the constitutional court, Adli Mansour, has been named as the interim leader by the head of the Egyptian military, Gen. Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi. While the takeover has been characterized as a military coup by Morsi and his chief security adviser, it has apparently been well-received by the masses still congregated from the protests in Tahrir Square and around Egypt.

Fox News reports:

Fireworks and cheers erupted from the millions gathered in Tahrir Square after the announcement was made.

Earlier in the day, an army deadline for Morsi to resolve Egypt’s political crisis expired.

Top military officials and opposition leaders met Wednesday and agreed on a political roadmap for the country’s future, calling for early presidential and parliamentary elections, el-Sissi said. A new presidential cabinet will be formed as well as a national reconciliation committee, which will include youth movements that have been behind anti-Morsi demonstrations.

Morsi said on his presidential Facebook page that he rejected el-Sissi’s statement, according to Reuters. An aide says he has been moved to an undisclosed location.

El-Sissi said the military will deal “decisively” with any violence sparked by the announcements.

The Egyptian military has seized control of the government, but this is supposed to be another temporary arrangement, until the people have the opportunity to elect a new leader. Where the current leaders, and the Muslim Brotherhood will be in that process remains to be seen. Observers should also be watching for any political moves made by Salafist community leaders, and the military response to the ongoing sexual assaults and violence that have been a part of the current round of protests.

Moderate Egyptians: Our Brief Window of Hope Closes

Concern about Egyptian President Morsi’s proclamations and the upcoming constitutional referendum continues to grow. Thousands of protesters marched on the presidential palace defying the police and their threats of tear gas. The protesters are a diverse group of Egyptians including Christians and moderates, concerned that the country will lose its secular government and replace it with one sanctioned by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Ahram News: Thousands of protesters had gathered in front of the presidential palace on Tuesday afternoon, chanting against the draft constitution and Constituent Assembly and holding banners saying “We reject splitting the country in two using religion,” and “We reject the constitutional declaration.”

Protesters chanted: “To those who wonder what the solution is, the Brotherhood has to be dissolved,” and “Get out of your houses and come tell Morsi to leave.”

The constitutional assembly is accused of being dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Morsi is a member and has been disrupted by withdrawals from the Coptic Christians, journalists and farmer representatives.

Many are concerned that newly elected President Morsi has already lost his legitimacy and that opponents are hoping to topple his regime.

Wal-Mart Whiners–30 Million Willing to Work Your Job

no whining

CBS New reported today on the Wal-Mart employees who plan to protest on Black Friday. You can read the whole article but let me just share a few snippets:

Dan Hindman has worked at a Wal-Mart near Los Angeles for four years. The former employee of the month, who makes $9.80 an hour, says he is scheduled to work on Black Friday but does not plan to show up.

“Wal-Mart needs to learn that it’s not fair how they treat us,” Hindman says.

The protesters want minimum hourly pay raised to $13, more full-time work and less-costly health care. Next year, their insurance premiums will jump by as much as 36 percent, as Wal-Mart scales back its contribution.

He says his schedule was cut to 15 hours per week when he joined a group of Wal-Mart employees who favor unionizing. He lost custody of his four-year-old son when he could no longer support him.

“So I lost my son and I’m kind of regretting working for Wal-Mart, but I have to provide, you know?” says an emotional Hindman. “It’s the biggest retailer in the world, and you can’t help me provide for my son? It kills me, dude. It really tears me apart, big time.”

Dude. Seriously? You are blaming Wal-Mart for your woes?

The first time I heard about the Wal-Mart protest I admit to feeling a bit sorry for the guys. After all, they might only get half of Thanksgiving Day off. But, then I remembered, this is nothing new. Wal-Mart and other stores have been turning back their opening time for the Black Friday sales for years. And there is a good reason they do it. People come. Simple enough. But they are also trying to adapt to the internet shoppers, finding a way to bring customers in to their stores while fighting against the ease of online shopping.

When you took the job you knew the store would be open. How is it any different from bank employees knowing they can’t be closed more than three days in a row so they have to be open on the Friday after Thanksgiving? No different from firefighters, policemen, and hospital workers who signed on knowing that their employer was open 24/7. They might have to work an undesirable shift. No different from the guy who works at a 7/11 or Circle K…heck, what about a 24 hour drug store? When you agree to work at these places you do so with the knowledge that there are days you will be scheduled when you’d rather be home. It’s life.

To the second part of your complaint: You think you should be paid more to do an unskilled job? Why? If you want to make more money you can either take a more challenging job that others don’t want or you can go back to school and/or get some training. Nobody says you have to get a college degree, there are many training programs available and even some OJT programs that pay as you learn. Wal-Mart and other department stores should pay what the market will bear. Remember, there are 30 MILLION other people out looking for work. Why should Wal-Mart pay your sorry butt more money just because you don’t think it’s fair?

Every job I’ve had has had a salary range. When I got to the top of the salary I had to make a decision did I want to stay in that position with little chance for increase or did I want to make a change, take supervisory classes or learn a new skill?

Is it Wal-Mart’s fault that you aren’t working enough hours to care for your child? It used to be that single parents often had to work two jobs to take care of themselves and their kids. Sure it’s tough. But good grief, it’s not the store’s fault that you need to make more. Get out there and find a second job. This is real life. Don’t sit there waiting for somebody to come bail you out.

Dude.

AZ – Where They Desecrate the Flag to Support Illegals

Desecrated Flag

I am not going to fly off on a tirade about this behavior. It does no good anyway. The people involved in these sorts of activities just take words against them, and spin the complaints so that the people pointing out how wrong they are end up looking like the bad guys. Instead, I am going to tell you all a story.
Desecrated Flag
My maiden name is Ross, and since my first name is Elizabeth, some members of my family would call me Betsy, like my paternal grandfather. This was something that he liked very much, having a granddaughter with the same name as the woman who was historically credited with making the first flag of this nation. The reason he liked this undoubtedly had something to do with his being a generally patriotic man, and a veteran. But, shortly after he died, it became abundantly clear why this quiet gentleman liked that name in his family tree so much.

When we were sorting through his belongings, we found a flag. It was folded neatly, and kept in an old department store shirt box wrapped in tissue paper. When my father carefully unfolded it, and spread it out on my grandmother’s bed, we saw that it had just 48 stars. The white stripes and stars had long since turned to sepia tone, and some of the hem on the edges had fallen apart because the thread had disintegrated. And then we noticed that there was a deep brownish red stain over many of the stripes.

We knew that my grandfather had served in World War II, but didn’t know where, or in what capacity. Until we found that flag, we never knew that he had obviously been in combat. We would find out later from some of his friends from the American Legion that the flag was his because he had used it to wrap around a member of his unit in battle. That man had died in my grandfather’s arms, with that flag as a blanket. Apparently, he had tried to give that flag to the dead soldier’s family, but they either couldn’t bear to take it, or said that he should keep it. In spite of the fact that it is very old and worn, it has never been added to the yearly pile of flags that local veterans burn and bury each year. It sits, neatly folded, hiding the bloodstains it holds, in a case at an American Legion post. It will probably molder to nothingness before any veteran of that post decides to permanently retire those colors in the flames.

Understanding the importance of that flag is what it means to be an American. That is a gift that citizens of this country can own. Failing to grasp that is a tragedy. The flag not only represents this nation, but also the blood spilled to protect it.

The following video shows a group of people that probably will never understand what it really means to be an American citizen. Their only concern is what they can get out of the government. They have no desire to contribute to society, and only desire to usurp the freedoms that were earned by the blood of others. While it is tempting to scream in protest at the desecration they have done, one must remember – they don’t know any better. They cannot be taught to feel what true Americans do. They cannot be taught to respect themselves, let alone others. They are not worth anyone’s time or attention. But, we mustn’t forget that people like this exist in this country. We must continue the fight to remove those that have no desire to actively participate in our society as law-abiding, respectful, legal citizens.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas – the Tea Party Remix

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,

Not a Senator was stirring, not even a mouse.

The bills were stacked on the desks with care,

In hopes that the rich would finally pay their fair share.

The Obamas were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of vacations danced in their heads.

Princess Nancy with her botox and talk of income gaps

Had just settled down for a long Beltway nap.

When out on the Mall there arose such a clatter,

Politicians were forced to act like it mattered.

They tucked away all their lobbyist cash,

Flew to the Capitol windows and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,

Gave the luster of shiny new taxes to objects below.

When what to their wondering eyes should appear,

But something that makes every Rep quake with fear.

Old folks, babies, parents as far as the eye could see.

They knew in a moment it must be a tea party.

In protest of big government all of them came;

And called out all the offenses by name.

Strike Healthcare, cut welfare!

And all earmarks too!

Don’t raise the debt ceiling!

We are watching all of you!

Limit union power!

Limit your spending!

Stop funding your privilege

While America is ending!

Our purses are pinched!

We’ve hit a wall!

We will vote away, vote away,

Vote you out, ALL!

And then in a twinkling, they heard on the roof,

The prancing of voters, each precious hoof.

Just as the politicians were turning around,

In the tea party came with a bound!

Their eyes, how they twinkled! They didn’t look too scary.

And in their arms, the constitution they carried.

Some were in costume, silly but sincere;

Some came to speak, some came to hear.

Many were angry, but violent they were not.

They left that distaste to the OWS clots.

They were middle-class, lower-class, upper class too;

From Christian to Muslim to atheist to Jew.

This band of Americans with no clear head,

Was enough to fill our poor Reps with dread.

The Tea Party yelled, “Time to get to work!

We have had enough of your games, you jerks.

We got lazy; we left you to mind the store;

Let you waste our hard-earned money, but no more!

You’ve continued to cheat, to steal and to lie,

We’ve organized our protests and shouted to the sky;

Now we’ll organize voting, and challenge your jobs.

The free party is over, we’re onto you, slobs!”

The politicians shook with fear, as the tea party dismissed.

And said “We’re voting you out. And you won’t be missed.

The President’s next; and if all goes right.

Inauguration 2013 will be a GREAT night!”

LETHAL CR Gas Killing Protesters in Egypt

Brisbane protests Mubarak. Pic: Marc Robertson The Courier mail

People across the globe demanded the ouster of long-time oppressive Egyptian dictator Hasni Mubarak, without taking into consideration just who would fill the political vacuum created by his ouster. The results of that irresponsible action without proper planning ahead of time can be seen in the following NewsMax headline: Egyptian Military using Nerve gas on Protesters.

The Egyptian military has been using a banned chemical agent to deal with hundreds of thousands of protesters, according to several news sources.

At least 23 Egyptians have died and more than 1,700 have succumbed to a lethal gas military forces have been using during the past three days in clashes in and around Cairo’s Tahrir Square.

The International Business Times reports that demonstrators have been struck with “dangerous levels of CR gas over the past two days of protests” and Australia’s The Age said Wednesday that the canisters are marked “Made in the USA.”

CR gas is an intense and lethal version of CS gas, called “tear gas,” widely used by police for crowd control.

Wikipedia notes that CR gas has effects that are “are approximately 6 to 10 times more powerful than those of CS gas.” CR causes intense skin pain and irritation, and can lead to blindness and death by asphyxiation.

The CR gas was made in the USA. Now comes the investigation/government cover-up about just how American-made nerve gas ended up in Egypt. Kind of reminds us of the Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal where our very own government was caught red-handed selling assault weapons to mexican drug cartels. That episode in big government abuse is also being covered up today, with no one held responsible for the hundreds of murders caused by our government in that Eric Holder-led travesty.

Are the Occupy Wall Street lawless nutcases paying attention here? Instead of whining about a shot of non-lethal pepper spray, how would you like to be burying some of your whining, sniveling cowardly comrades? This is what real tragedy and oppression looks like kids. Stop harassing the 99% of decent citizens and clear out of our parks and cities, so we can begin cleaning up the tons of human waste, disease, spent needles, used condoms and over-all filth you have brought with you across America!

Three Americans Detained in Egypt for Throwing Bombs at Police

Three Americans enrolled at the American University in Cairo have been arrested after allegedly throwing Molotov Cocktails, a rudimentary liquid bomb, at Egyptian police.

While the U.S. Embassy has not yet confirmed the identity of the young men or their status, fellow students have identified them as  Luke Gates of Bloomington, Ind., Derrik Sweeney of Northridge, Calif., and Greg Porter of Pennsylvania.

The three were reportedly arrested just outside the university on Monday night by Egyptian authorities.

Violent protests have escalated since Saturday in Tahrir square – the site of the protests that led to the ouster of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarek. Protesters are demanding that the government be run by civilians instead of the military committee currently in-place.

Images and video of the three boys have been shown on Egyptian and American television throughout Tuesday morning.

Occupy Protestors Use Kids As Human Barricades In D.C.

I have no idea why occupy protestors have found their approval ratings dropping with mainstream Americans.  Maybe videos like this can shed light…

What do you guys think?  Is this how a “protest” should be done?  Is it ever okay to use kids as human barricades?  And how many stories like this will it take before the mainstream media ends their romance with the “Occupy” movement?  Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

OWS Manifesto: Declaration of the Occupation of NYC

Recently I posted a piece on the difference between tea party rallies and the Occupy Wall Street protesters.  Perhaps annoyed by the tone of my piece, an anonymous commenter tipped me off to the list of "demands" of the OWS group in order to prove that the movement is purposeful and coherent.

As it turns out, the protesters have managed to create a communication wing of sorts.  They call themselves the NYC General Assembly (not the governing one, in case you’re wondering). They say they are an "open, participatory and horizontally organized process through which we are building the capacity to constitute ourselves in public as autonomous collective forces within and against the constant crises of our times."    Just reading that sentence makes my head spin.  Part of their horizontal process has been to create what they call their Declaration of the Occupation of New York City.  Those crazy kids and their fancy titles!  It is less a manifesto than a list of grievances against the atrocities of corporations.  No one specific, just…corporations.  Man, corporations are horrible!  I mean, aren’t they just the worst? Here it is, in its entirety.  There is just too much to say about this document, so read for yourself.

Declaration of the Occupation of New York City

As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.

As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage.
They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.
They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one’s skin, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.
They have poisoned the food supply through negligence, and undermined the farming system through monopolization.
They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless animals, and actively hide these practices.
They have continuously sought to strip employees of the right to negotiate for better pay and safer working conditions.
They have held students hostage with tens of thousands of dollars of debt on education, which is itself a human right.
They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.
They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.
They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.
They have sold our privacy as a commodity.
They have used the military and police force to prevent freedom of the press. They have deliberately declined to recall faulty products endangering lives in pursuit of profit.
They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.
They have donated large sums of money to politicians, who are responsible for regulating them.
They continue to block alternate forms of energy to keep us dependent on oil.
They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives or provide relief in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantial profit.
They have purposely covered up oil spills, accidents, faulty bookkeeping, and inactive ingredients in pursuit of profit.
They purposefully keep people misinformed and fearful through their control of the media.
They have accepted private contracts to murder prisoners even when presented with serious doubts about their guilt.
They have perpetuated colonialism at home and abroad. They have participated in the torture and murder of innocent civilians overseas.
They continue to create weapons of mass destruction in order to receive government contracts. *

To the people of the world,

We, the New York City General Assembly occupying Wall Street in Liberty Square, urge you to assert your power.

Exercise your right to peaceably assemble; occupy public space; create a process to address the problems we face, and generate solutions accessible to everyone.

To all communities that take action and form groups in the spirit of direct democracy, we offer support, documentation, and all of the resources at our disposal.

Join us and make your voices heard!

*These grievances are not all-inclusive.

After all that fuss they mean to tell us this document is not all-inclusive? There’s more?

Occupy Wall Street vs.Tea Party: Who'd Ya Rather?

The Occupy Wall Street protests continue as over 700 ne’er-do-wells were arrested Saturday on New York’s Brooklyn Bridge.  As the mainstream media continues its romantic coverage of the vague protests, one is reminded of all the outlandish and patently false characterizations of Tea Party protests.  Tea Party events have been labeled racist, violent, frightening and angry by the MSM and part-time pundits like Janeane Garofalo.  Tea Party protesters have a reputation for leaving their protest grounds cleaner than when they left it.  By comparison, the Wisconsin union crowd left millions of dollars in damages during their occumpation of the capital.  The Occupy Wall Street crowd doesn’t seem to be much more hygenical.  But you decide for yourself.  Below is a small collection of pictures chronicling both protest groups.  Occupy Wall Street photos are on the left, Tea Party on the right (of course!).  Which protest would you rather bring your children to? You be the judge.

Entitlements – The Effects of Big Government

While the Democratic party continues to find ways to spend money, and the president is off golfing, taking vacations, or just out campaign trail hoping for an addional four year term – the country is falling into a deeper recession. Whether people agree or disagree, democrat or republican, it doesn’t matter; just look at how much the cost of goods and services have gone up in the past few weeks. Although this presidents spending has well exceeded that of his predecessors, he alone is not responsible for the debt crisis, nor the creation of the entitlement state, or a welfare society that currently exists. No,  the creation of big government began sometime ago, its effects are just beginning to catch up to us now. The sad part is, there are so many on the Hill who what to make the government even bigger, they fail to recognize the warning signs they are getting from those in Europe who are seeing the errors of their ways.

The spending in Washington that has been going on for decades is at the root of the problem.  However, the lack of clarity on how true job creation actually occurs – which is not by raising taxes or extending unemployment benefits as suggested by democrats.  The self-righteous attitudes of those on the hill, whose own self-interests seem to come first,  are just a few examples of what is at the crux of the problem. The reality is we live in a welfare society where people truly believe government entitlements are their God-given right.  These same people fail to recognize making government bigger than what it already is, is not the answer.

What is happening in Athens, London, and other parts of the world, and is beginning to happen here in the United States is just the beginning of waht happend to economys that cannot sustain government spending. The flash mobs, threats, violence, and so on that occurred in Madison, Wisconsin as well as other parts of the country, are the just beginning of what happens in a welfare society driven by people who have visons whichh are not founded in a realistic way.  The issues with Wisconsin employees are just one example of what is spreading across the nation.  These people are beginning to feel the end result of what happens to people who rely on entitlements simply because they were promised by a government whose spending well exceeds its income. This is what they were promised and this is what they truly believe they are entitled to at any cost, they don’t care.

There is a common theme that exists: even when times are rough, and government clearly cannot fulfill their expectations, and cuts are necessary, these flash mobs are proof that people demand what government has promised. Regardless if it bankrupts the state they are living in, they truly believe they are entitled to things such as pension plans they did not pay into, early retirement at age 53 or earlier, free medical benefits, welfare checks, food stamps, and the never-ending unemployment checks. The violence is just beginning. In addition, union officials are sending people to states to fight against anyone who tries to put an end to the entitlements. People are being threatened; their businesses are risk, if they don’t comply with the threats. One person in Kenosha, WI who was suppose to hold a tea party meeting was threatened and forced to hold the meeting elsewhere; scared by union goons.

What we are seeing in London is just the beginning of the end of years of government entitlements. Generations of people who have spent their entire lives living on government handouts and stimulus – the reality of government outspending always catches up; it is just a matter of time.  The people of London, for example, that time is now. The same thing is happening here and people are reacting the same way – fighting, picketing, rioting because they have a big government mentality. They believe that they have a right to the all the free stuff government has been providing.   Remember: As government keeps getting bigger people and business keep getting smaller – how do you create jobs from that? How do you like the end result? Think about that next time you go to vote or contact your congress man or woman.

Civil Rights Protests/Union Protests: Apples and Oranges!

I read an article today about a black man who marched for civil rights in the days of Martin Luther King. You know, back in the days when American citizens were not only protesting to get real workers’ rights, but also ‘fighting’ for their constitutional civil rights; back in the day when people were being killed simply for demanding that the government recognize their constitutional rights. This man’s name was Herbert. In this article Herbert compared the protesting in Wisconsin with the civil rights protesting of the sixties. In this story Herbert mentioned about how important it was for “the people” to “stick together.” (I ask, “Who are the people he is talking about?”) Then Herbert mentioned that “we need to become strong.” (Again I ask; “Who is the ‘we’ Herbert speaks of?”) Then Herbert mentioned that if “We don’t become strong we will lose our rights.” (Herbert, what do you mean if we don’t become strong? What do you mean if we don’t stick together?)

Well, I need to help Herbert get a little perspective. First of all I am saddened by how black people were treated in America for many years. I did not grow up in a prejudiced home, or a prejudiced society. The people I hung with as a teen-ager and young adult treated everyone the same. It still tears my heart out to know that there was a day when one race of Americans could hate another race of Americans simply because their skin was a different color. Those were issues that once split this nation in half. Well for the most part, those days are over. (Unfortunately prejudices of all types still exist in this world. You can’t fix stupid!) Black Americans today have the opportunity to walk the dream of Martin Luther King. The American dream is open to anyone who willing to work for it. The ultimate example of that is our own American President!

Herbert, the budget battle going on in Wisconsin these days is not between “we the people” and the Governor of Wisconsin. The protestors are not protesting against the ‘evils’ of Big Business. The protestors in Wisconsin are not protesting the right to vote, the right to work wherever they want, or the right to buy a home. They are protesting the ability to keep their union privileges. (Notice I said privileges not rights!) They are protesting to such a point that they would rather have these union privileges than help our state survive economically. Herbert, you were right about one thing in your story. People do need to stick together. In this situation the people of Wisconsin need to stick together in order to help their state. And the people in Wisconsin should also be sticking together as they work to remove the vermin who are striving to destroy this state. The budget crisis in Wisconsin is genuine. The only way “we the people” are going to solve this crisis is if we all stick together and do what is best for all the people of the state, not just public union people. The protesting in Wisconsin is not between abused, over-worked, underpaid minority workers and greedy corporate owners. The protesting in Wisconsin is not between poorly treated workers who want safer working conditions and better benefits and big business. The protesting in Wisconsin is not between the poor, oppressed working man and the filthy rich business owners. The vast majority of workers protesting in Wisconsin involves middle to upper class public union employees; citizens who already enjoy incredible union perks. Most of these ‘poor’ ‘woe-is-me’ protestors are union people with two to three cars in the driveway of their $200,000+ homes. The protesting that is going on in Wisconsin today is by people who want to do what is best for their wallets or for their unions before doing what is best for Wisconsin.

Herbert, I too am a union member; have been for thirty-five years. So even though I am a private union employee I need to let you know that I am not part of your “we the people” who must “stick together” to save our union privileges at any cost! I definitely believe I need to help this state because that will help everyone in the state and not just a few. I am simply a tax-paying Wisconsin union-member who is sick and tired of paying for both my benefits and someone else’s! I am a union member who cares more about helping all the people in this state, and the state itself. Herbert, contrary to what the big AFL-CIO tells you, if the state is not economically healthy, the businesses which provide jobs will not be healthy. And again, contrary to what the big AFL-CIO tells you, raising taxes to pay for higher and higher public union employees’ wages and benefits will not attract more businesses to our state.

It really saddens my heart when I read articles written by black people who foolishly compare the public union protesting (i.e., whining) that is going on in Wisconsin to the seriously denied civil rights protesters of the sixties. It is so disingenuous to see people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton showing up to help highly-paid, luxuriously benefited public union workers. These men know what worthy, honorable protesting is all about. Jesse and Al are similar to old hippies who show up at protests hoping to re-kindle the days of old when they protested the Vietnam War. (These boys also like seeing their faces on the nightly news.)

Herbert, don’t bring shame on yourself by comparing what real suffering black workers had to endure in the sixties to what is going on amongst the well-paid, lavishly benefited public union employees of today! You lessen what black people did in the sixties if you continue to compare the legitimate protesting that the black people had to endure to get their civil rights enforced, to the whiny protesting of rich, spoiled public union workers.

SIDE NOTE: I constantly hear these public union people whining about being fed up. Fed up with what? Public union bus driver, what are you fed up about? You made over $100,000 last year! And union teacher Joan, what is your beef?  You work a few hours a day, nine months a year and you still make more money than what a vast majority of Americans make. Mr. and Mrs. Public Union Employee, you make more on your check and in benefits than most private union sector workers make. So again, what are you fed up about?

If you public union employees need something to be fed up about, be fed up with something genuine. If you want something to protest, protest something that benefits all Americans. Protest the high taxes that most Americans are paying! Protest how your taxes are being used for useless pork barrel projects. Protest the billions of dollars in ‘aid’ that we send to countries that don’t even like us. We could use that money to help our own people! If you want to unite people to a righteous cause, unite people to protest elected politicians who are ‘owned’ by unions; politicians who no longer do the bidding of the majority but instead are led by union thugs. If public union employees want to protest their ‘difficulties’ they have that constitutional right to do so—just so long as they do it legally. I say, these public union protestors should use all their energy and use their vast numbers to protest the illegal aliens who come into this country and steal jobs from Americans and receive a fortune worth of tax-payer funded ‘freebies’! There, go protest that!

Today there is another group out there who wants to try to control a free people. The very thing that was once wrong—terribly wrong—with this nation. There was a time when many in this nation once believed they were a better race of people. They believed they had the right to treat fellow citizens with contempt. These arrogant people believed they were above the law of the land. They actually believed they were the law. This race of people got too powerful. They saw nothing wrong with abusing the constitutional rights of others. They got so powerful they even tried to control the ability of a free people to think and act for themselves. Many unions and union people today have become that prejudiced, unlawful people. Many of these unions have decided that they should be deciding what is best for all Americans–just as they decide what is best for their members.

So again Mr. Herbert, I encourage you – do not cheapen the difficult, sincere civil rights protests of the sixties by comparing them with the selfish, whiny worker protests that are going on in Wisconsin.

Not wanting to have protesters turn the Florida Chamber of Commerce into a war zone like in Wisconsin, the Chamber went proactive today, and hired extra security and assigned color coded threat levels to ensure the security of workers entering and leaving the building during the Florida legislative sessions.

Chamber President Mark Wilson ordered the extra security measures after learning of the violence that was reported recently in Wisconsin protests. Mr. Wilson has seen similar tactics from Unions and assorted activists before:

“We’ve been picketed by ACORN before,” Wilson noted. “They brought people in on buses and pushed open our front door a few years ago.” He further elaborated  on why he was taking the precautions early,  “If two months from now session comes and goes and we never encounter anything like what is happening in other states and it looks like it was overkill, I’ll take that embarrassment all day long,” Wilson said. “I don’t think you can ever be too prepared.”

Some people appear to have their head in the sand in ignoring what has happened in Wisconsin lately, with people barging through security, climbing in through windows, making death threats against the Governor, and several protesters having to be  physically removed by police. Some chamber directors and officers went so far as to say they were unaware of the security precautions and one even called it “an over-reaction at a minimum.”  With the threats and increased level of lunacy and disrespect shown in the Wisconsin protests, a person has to be pretty naive to not appreciate the advance preparations being done by Mr. Wilson to protect them.

The circus atmosphere and disrespect shown in Wisconsin should be a very clear warning to all States to make preparations ahead of time to ensure the safety of all concerned from these disrespectful, ill-mannered protesters. It is an embarrassment I hope to never see allowed to happen here in Florida.

Elections have consequences. Republicans have won in many states, and Liberals posing as Democrats are using decent people to deny the process of true Democracy that the people voted for. Toss into the mix self-serving Union operatives who have a distinct pattern of thuggery against anyone who opposes their agenda, and we have the perfect storm for protest violence. Be prepared people.

Wisconsin Protests Go Nationwide: The Radical Agenda

Today we are being told that the Union protests will spread across the nation. I believe this could be the start of what Glenn Beck has exposed as self-professed Communist activist Van Jones’  top down, bottom up, inside out theory of radically transforming America. Remember that these people follow the mantra of , “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”   Mr. Jones was injected into our government as the “Green Jobs Czar” by one Barack Hussein Obama as an appointee with the approval of longtime Chicago confidant Valerie Jarrett, who is now in our very own Whitehouse as a senior advisor  to Barack Obama also. Her prior qualifications to be directly involved in our government today? She is a known Chicago slumlord who was once the Chief of Staff for the King of Chicago corruption, Ex-Mayor Richard Daley. His youngest son, Bill Daley is also Obama’s new Chief of staff in our Whitehouse. Mr Jones can be seen in the photo to the left promoting riots in trying to free a convicted cop killer. This man  certainly gives a  new meaning to the term,”community Organizer.” Mr. Jones is calling for nationwide protests against All state governments starting today, in conjunction with Obama’s heavily State government embedded, UNIONS. This is seizing upon the manufactured crisis in Wisconsin and their mantra of not letting a good crisis go to waste.

Lisa Gras, a very dedicated and informative writer, has put together an excellent article on billionaire economic terrorist George Soros  that should be read  by all Americans who are not familiar with the puppet-master, government overthrowing economic terrorist Mr. George Soros.  http://lisagraas.com/2011/02/05/five-revolutions-backed-by-george-soros/ Soros backed the Liberal Democrats back in the 2008 election, pouring millions into the campaigns of  BOTH  Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. One way or the other, Mr. Soros was guaranteeing that he would have a place at the Whitehouse dinner table and he succeeded. Without Whitehouse support, this word re-known economic terrorist would certainly find himself rotting in an American prison today. Soros was found guilty of insider trading after a 14 year investigation in France* and was fined 2.3 million dollars. This is a man who is also famous for breaking the Bank of England , and was  caught by the SEC here in America  in a stock trading scandal back in 1979, and agreed that he wouldn’t do it anymore. No criminal charges were filed there. The laws about insider trading differ greatly from one country to another. Unlike American law, French law does not provide for civil enforcement actions in insider trading cases; they may be pursued here only as criminal matters. Mr Soros is also known as a man without a country today, yet he is now spending most of his time here in the United States.

In the above referenced article by Lisa Gras, that well-researched and very informative article shows us how George Soros has been undermining governments across the globe since 1984, leading right to the doorstep of the recent Middle East upheaval. What does this have to do with  the current Wisconsin protests, Van Jones, Richard Trumka and Barack Hussein Obama and now the Communist Party USA ?  Apparently more than most people currently know in this country today. Every one of the countries that George Soros was involved in written in Lisa’s article have one thing in common:  The overthrowing of governments through George Soros financed quasi-covert political operations. This also always involves the corruption of the Media, as Soros has poured millions of dollars into newspapers, Tv stations, media networks, etc. He recently gave huge amountss of s=csahs to leftist groups, such as MoveOn.org and The Huffington Post. Here you can see how they have signed up today to promote the protests across America. http://pol.moveon.org/event/events/index.html?action_id=238 This is a bid to protect the progressive movement’s power base for the 2012 elections, folks, nothing more. These puppets could care less about the American people and their quality of life.  Soros also seems to monitor political situations worldwide , and then has shown the uncanny ability to sow the seeds of discontent among the people of those countries at just the right time, resulting in “the fundamental transformation” of those countries and new governments being formed. With our States rights blocking the Federal Government’s intrusions into their own governments, the George Soros funded Liberal agenda can not advance their plans and they know this. Thus they are desperately trying to turn the Wisconsin budget crisis into a national issue. For those of you blindly worshipping Mr. Barack Hussein Obama still today, I shall include a very relative direct quote from Mr. Obama right here and right now:

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America

While that now famous statement, uttered at the beginning of candidate Obama’s speech at The University of Missouri, on Feb. 19th, 2008, seemed relatively harmless at the time, when we look at the Soros pattern of undermining governments across the globe, coupled with what we see happening in America today, that statement should be very disconcerting to even the most naive of Americans today.  For the Liberal deniers of reality that want to say Obama didn’t say that,  here is the video link, provided  just to prove it.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ffwY74XbS4 The problem that I have with the Obama/Soros transformation of America motto, is that it is as Anti-American at it’s roots as another group, cpusa.org , that is being rallied to join the protest today by the Communist Van Jones. Right on their homepage they announce their participation in today’s protests.  His rallying cry across the leftist stratosphere here in America to join with their Union brothers today in the protests contained another covert codeword for ratcheting up these protests across America: Solidarity. These radical Anti-Americans are now trying to turn this country into another mish mash of Communists/Socialist power brokers just like in the dysfunctional Afrika we see today. The divide and conquer theory is being heavily applied here and it is being ratcheted up today across America in the attempted dismantling of State Sovereignty. Thus the importance of Governor Scott Walker and others, in standing their ground against the Unions, Liberals, Socialists and Communists marching to the beat of George Soros, Barack Obama, Van Jones, Richard Trumka and their very clear Anti-American agenda.

I pray there will be no violence in these radical, State government protests today that clearly represent a clear and present danger to America and her people. These paid George Soros puppets, Unions thugs, Liberal Socialists and Communists will be out in force today with the direct support of todays Democratic Party. Remember this in 2012.  Since Barack Obama has not denounced this form of domestic terrorism upon the working taxpayers of America, we must only conclude one thing:  He supports it 100%. This is how he plans on “Winning the Future” here in America, starting today.
