How the GOP Can Build An Effective Relationship With The Black Community

The historic election of Barack Obama was indeed an electrifying moment for the United States. The election of the first African-American President was a monumental step in racial equality and harmony. It was truly a sign that America is the land of opportunity and that regardless of race, people can succeed.
Obama has not been the only African-American Democrat to capture the attention of blacks. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Charlie Rangel and others have become a beacon in the Democratic Party. The GOP has also seen an increase of influence in the black community with the election of US Congressman Allen West, Congressman Tim Scott from SC, education and pro-life advocate Star Parker, just to name a few. I want to discuss how the GOP can continue to move forward and establish a good relationship with the black community.

1.) The GOP must attempt to outreach to the black community. If the GOP will put forth the effort, African-Americans will listen. Blacks are not one-side minded people or a monogamous population. They are very diverse in thinking and living. Many blacks are frustrated with the GOP because they feel ignored. One of the ways the GOP can regroup and revitalize is to have “kitchen-table” talks with blacks, hear their ideas, and provide economic solutions that will go beyond rhetoric

2.) The GOP must realize that many blacks are socially conservative-minded. Family values are a huge concern and the central part of the African-American family. The culture of life is indeed sacred and valuable to the black community. With regards to the detrimental outcome of slavery and segregation policies regarding the lives of blacks, the African-American community deeply knows how precious life is. There must be a focus on the importance of highlighting the importance of how vital the father figure is in a child’s life and how the two-parent structure benefits blacks socially and economically.  Therefore, the culture of life reigns as an integral factor in many African-American lives.

3.) The GOP must have a sound economic message. Blacks for many years have been victims of economic disparity. They know how it is to work hard for minimum wages to provide food and shelter for their families. While The Obama Administration continues to expand government by massive spending and promote entitlement programs, the GOP must counteract with a message that is helpful—entitlement programs do not create jobs or accumulate wealth Capitalism is a sure way of making sure the poor and middle class and be elevated into a higher income bracket. Many African-Americans believe that they can achieve their goals and pursue their dreams without the government interfering. For so long, governments have made promises that have turned up being empty. The GOP must proclaim it’s message of fiscal conservatism to the black community, so that their children and grandchildren do not have to spend their lives paying off the government’s debt, but can pursue the American dream joyfully

4.) The GOP should not attempt to do outreach in an election year cycle only. African-Americans and minorities in general, find it highly offensive when politicians try to reach out to them months before an election. Showing up right before an election appears phony and simply “staged.” The GOP should not be afraid to go in the ghettos and the inner cities to outreach. The time for simply allowing the Democratic party to take advantage of the black vote is over. The GOP needs to take a visit to black America and let its presence be known. They need to make their presence known on black radio, black television, magazines, etc. They should not be dominated by fear or anxiety, but be confident, optimistic and sincere. Like I previously said, African-Americans are not one-side minded people. They like to hear the issue being portrayed from different sources. Just because many voted for Obama does not mean they will not hold him accountable come November. African-Americans are looking for results instead of rhetoric. The GOP should provide solutions and answers, not condemnation or meaningless criticism, because it will not prevail.

Last, but certainly not least, the African-American community needs to give the GOP a chance. It is a good thing to see an African-American President AND opposing views from African-Americans in the conservative movement. This is good for the black community. It is healthy and constructive to have a dialogue with varying differences and beliefs that can help brighten the approach to public policy. It gives the black community two perspectives to look at. It gives them another voice to adhere to. It enables them to see that economic solutions can be given through another source. The African-American community should not be resistant to the GOP, but should convey with the GOP their concerns and ideas. To the GOP: get involved with the African-American community. I cannot reiterate this enough.  Don’t expect things to change overnight, but put forth the effort to build a relationship. To African-Americans: if and when the GOP comes into your neighborhood, hear them out.

America Does Not Build Business, Business Builds America

In a speech given Friday to supporters at a campaign stop in Roanoke, Va., the current Oval Office occupant told business owners they owe their business success to government built infrastructure saying:

“If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that.  There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me because they want to give something back.  If you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there.  It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.  If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.  The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/07/15/obama-dashes-american-dream-suggests-nobody-achieves-success-alone/

What about the Pilgrims who immigrated to America on the Mayflower in 1620?  Were they only successful because of government built infrastructure?

What about those who settled in Jamestown, Virginia?  Their journeys were financed by wealthy Englishmen, via such charters as the Virginia Company.  Their leader John Smith, to convince Jamestown colonists to prioritize growing food and building shelter said: “he who shall not work shall not eat.”  Where were the roads and bridges when they arrived?  Were there big government bailouts for those who decided they “shall not work”?

Early American landowners who needed laborers paid for a laborer’s passage to America provided they contracted to work for the landowner for several years upon arrival.  By exchanging their passage for work, immigrants could hope one day to start out on their own in America.  Does that not sound like a private business venture?  Had Washington DC and “progressive” government been regulating and taxing this process, North America might still be an unsettled wilderness.

What about the American Pioneers, who set forth across America via steamboat, raft, covered wagon, stagecoach, on foot, mules or horseback?  America’s Pioneers brought their own dishes, clothing, bedding, farm animals, and weapons with them because there were no stores to buy these items.  There was no American system waiting for them to arrive.  There was no government built infra-structure.  Did they log on to the Internet and use a map site to find their way to the Santa Fe Trail or the Oregon Trail?

What about Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone?  What about John Moses Browning, inventor of the semi-automatic shotgun?  What about Willis Carrier, who invented Air Conditioning?  Then there is Samuel Colt, inventor of the Colt Revolver.  How about him?  What do you have to say about Henry Ford, inventor of the moving assembly line?  What about Robert Fulton, the inventor of the steamboat?  What do you have to tell about Charles Goodyear, who invented vulcanized rubber?  What part of big government infrastructure inspired Cyrus McCormick to invent the mechanical reaper?  Did Samuel F.B. Morse invent the telegraph and Morse code, or did someone else make that happen?  Did Dr. Jonas Salk, inventor of the polio vaccine not make that discovery himself?  How did Eli Whitney, inventor of the cotton gin, come up with his invention if not for his natural ability?  What about Orville & Wilbur Wright, the inventors of the airplane?  Was their work a product of government research intended to allow passenger airlines to make money off the invention?  That is about as likely as “Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet”.

All of these people were successful and they got there on their own.

The outlandish remarks made by he who hopes for re-election display an utter disconnect from America, from who Americans are, how America was built and how America works.  This is not surprising, coming from someone whose childhood was spent outside America.  The closest he ever got to America is Hawaii, where his time was spent playing basketball, tokin’ bud and whiffin’ lines.  Thanks to his parents, his grandparent, his childhood mentors, and his radical college professors his “knowledge” of American history is rooted in the anti-American institutionalized “progressive” leftist view of America.

That view is based on the notion that American history starts when big government socialist programs were introduced during the twentieth century.  This view disavows all the values and traditions upon which America is built: an adventurous spirit, willingness to take risks, self-reliance, inventiveness, hard work, self-sacrifice and resolve.

The irony is, someone who takes such pride in his academic achievements is incapable of grasping an idea that is simply academic: America did not build business.  Business built America.  For America to recover from “the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression”, it will be business that builds America, not the other way around.

One Way Transparency

White House spokesman Jay Carney dismissed Donald Trump’s position that should today’s Oval Office occupant keeps insisting Mitt Romney release his tax returns; Romney demand that barry soetoro, barrack hussein obama, or whatever his name is first make his college records public information.  Rather than address the issue at hand, the administration consciously chose to launch into an Alinsky style personal attack on Trump.  Carney called the suggestion “preposterous”, dismissing Trump as “The guy who insisted that he didn’t believe the president was born in the United States”.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2012/jul/16/trump-romney-demand-obamas-college-records/

Never mind that the current White House occupant signed an Executive Order hiding every last one of his personal documents from public view on his first day in office.  For “the most transparent administration in history”, transparency is meant for everyone else, not themselves.

In typical “progressive” do as I say, not as I do fashion, the White House has launched repeated attacks on the presumptive GOP presidential nominee over questions about the timing of his departure from private equity firm Bain Capital.  One re-election campaign spokeswoman suggested that Romney possibly committed a felony.  The White House and fellow “progressive” Democrats keep insisting that companies filed for bankruptcy or shipped jobs overseas under Romney’s Bain leadership and that he only wants to help fellow millionaires, not working people.  Romney has maintained he is not responsible for many of those decisions because they took place after he took a leave of absence in February 1999 to oversee the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games.  According to recently released documents, regulatory filings show that Romney was still in charge of Bain through 2002.  However, Bain officials, including Democrats, say that he was not involved with the company’s day-to-day operations during that time.

The White House and other “progressives” within the Democratic Party are also criticizing Romney for setting up offshore bank accounts and refusing to release additional information concerning his personal fortune, estimated to be as much as $250 million.

“John McCain ran for president and released two years of tax returns. John Kerry ran for president, and his wife, who has hundreds of millions of dollars, she never released her tax returns. Somehow this wasn’t an issue.  The Obama people keep on wanting more and more and more, more things to pick through, more things for their opposition research to try and make a mountain out of and distort and to be dishonest about.” Romney countered in a television interview.

“progressives” keep insisting that Romney’s “secrecy” goes to the “trust factor”.  When it comes to secrecy and the trust factor, how on earth can policy wonks who insist on hiding the Oval Office occupant’s entire past claim even a glimpse of, much less a hold on the moral high ground?  Despite their horrendously duplicitous nature, “progressives” need to learn that trust must be a two way street.

Why was the “affordable care act” passed without Congress reading it first?

Why weren’t the New Black Panthers prosecuted for voter intimidation that was clearly documented?

Why did the NLRB sue Boeing?

Why has the administration stifled the production of cheap energy through EPA regulations and denial of permits?

Why has the administration abandoned national border security while suing States attempting to enforce federal law and granting blanket protection from prosecution for breaking immigration laws to millions of illegal aliens?

Why is the administration suing States that passed Voter ID laws intended solely to protect the integrity of America’s voting process?

Why has the counting of American votes in the November 2012 election been outsourced to a Spanish company?

Why does the White House continue insisting that average everyday Americans are not being taxed by the “affordable care act” when enforcement of the “penalty” falls to the IRS?

When did the IRS suddenly leave the Department of Treasury and move to the Department of Health and Human Services?

Why did so many millions of taxpayer dollars go to “green energy” companies whose executives “just happened” to have been big time “progressive” bundlers for the 2008 Democratic presidential campaign?

Where is the justification for using Executive Privilege to hide the truth about Operation Fast and Furious which resulted in the murder of American Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry?

The White House calling for transparency from the Mitt Romney campaign would be perfectly fine were they practicing what they preach.  They are not.  “The most transparent administration in history” has practiced anything but transparency.  Until they do, they should be prepared to take their lumps.

American Energy Means American Recovery

There is widespread consensus that America needs to become energy independent. America’s ever growing dependence on foreign energy putsher at ever-greater risk in a world that is increasingly unstable. Given the current political upheavals in the Middle East, this reality is slapping America in the face with increasing costs at the pump, which are contributing to the cost of goods and services to consumers.

“progressives” feel a compulsive obsessive need to force Americans into accepting their “green energy” fantasy. Three plus years of actions taken by the current administration and fellow “progressives” show a willingness to achieve this end at all costs, come what may. Stiffer standards on auto emissions and mileage, crushing EPA regulations on energy providers, opposing development of domestic energy resources, copious deficit spending on inefficient and noncompetitive solar, wind, tide and bio-fuel technologies litter the landscape of the White House’s failed energy policy.

While such “progressive” measures theoretically “promote” development of “green” energies, they dictate a highly impatient, frantic pace that is crippling the American economy at a time of tremendous fragility. They force the issue at the worst possible time.  During a stubborn, recovery resistant recession that is quite possibly teetering on the brink of a full-blown depression.

America’s public and industrial infrastructures are based on the use of petroleum, natural gas and coal, as well as limited nuclear power. Nearly every vehicle that is driven on American roads burns gasoline or diesel fuel. Public transportation relies on fossil fuels as well. Natural gas, heating oil and coal are used in furnaces to heat homes and places of business. Coal and nuclear power generate electricity, which powers countless devices; the uses of which are taken for granted every day. Coal, natural gas and petroleum products power American’s industrial complex, the base of the economic engine. America’s economy depends heavily on existing energy. The methods of providing and consuming energy are deeply ingrained into American business, industry, home life and recreation.

Expecting to change the methods of powering a society of over 300 million people overnight is impractical. It will take time to finish such a task. More time than most of the general public realizes. While whatever conversions that make sense are taking place, what energy is going power manufacturing, delivering and installing windmills, solar panels, turbines, generators and the power grid needed to provide “green” energy to the public? Will it be the “green” energy that is still under development? No. The energy that’s going to be used will be traditional fuels.

Why does America continue to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on foreign energy while there is undeveloped energy in its own country? Why doesn’t America keep those billions of dollars at home, in its own cash starved economy?

At a time when millions of Americans are looking for work and its economy is starving for liquid capital, why doesn’t America take advantage of its own wealth of natural resources? Why aren’t Americans drilling for oil and natural gas or digging for coal? Why aren’t people working building refineries and power plants? Why aren’t people delivering gas, coal and natural gas to consumers? How many peripheral jobs will be created in the process? For every new oil well, power plant, refinery or mine there will be new roads built, followed by restaurants, stores and housing. All generated by the only force capable of powering America’s economic recovery: the private sector.

In the interest of national security and job creation, America should put Americans back to work delivering American energy to Americans. This is the best way to become energy independent. Forcing “green energy” on America overnight will only lead to economic destruction.

Obama Chasing Spain’s Failure

Just last year Obama was telling America how “green” energy technology was the guaranteed pathway to energy security and independence:

“The future is here. We are poised to transform the ways we power our homes and our cars and our businesses”.

He said America risked falling behind the rest of the world in the design, production and implementation of renewable or “green” technology.  The nation he most often cited as the example for America’s green energy development to follow was Spain.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3UebL-x-sw

Spain announced on April 7, 2012 that they would halt all new renewable energy and co-generation projects.  Spain’s unemployment is running at more than 24%.  Every job created in Spain’s “green” energy sector cost 2.2 private sector jobs.

As recently as January, Spain’s Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy was making the campaign promise that he would not raise taxes.  This week he admitted that there would be a new Spanish VAT hike ranging between 18% and 21% and that budgets for local communities would have to be slashed.

“I said I would lower taxes and I am actually raising them. Circumstances change and I have to adapt to them.  The excesses of the past are being paid for right now” Rajoy said.

Thousands of people joined in a protest and marched in Madrid to support miners, who have been fighting against major cuts to industry subsidies.   Protesters supporting the miners threw objects at riot police, including fireworks, bottles and stones.  Police officers charged demonstrators and fired rubber bullets.  Five people were arrested and three people suffered minor injuries.

That is Obama’s grand vision for America?

Since Obama took office in January 2009, five million “green” jobs were promised, and as of 2010 225,000 had been created.  80% of the green loans, loan guarantees, and grants given out by Department of Energy went to Obama backers:

•SunPower, after receiving $1.5 billion from DOE, is reorganizing, cutting jobs.

•First Solar, after receiving $1.46 billion from DOE, is reorganizing, cutting jobs.

•Solyndra, after receiving $535 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•Ener1, after receiving $118.5 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•Evergreen Solar, after receiving millions of dollars from the state of Massachusetts, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•SpectraWatt, backed by Intel and Goldman Sachs, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•Beacon Power, after receiving $43 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•Abound Solar, after receiving $400 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•Amonix, after receiving $5.9 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•Babcock & Brown (an Australian company), after receiving $178 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•A123 Systems, after receiving $279 million from DOE, shipped some bad batteries and is barely operating. It cut jobs.

•Solar Trust for America, after receiving a $2.1-billion loan guarantee from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

•Nevada Geothermal, after receiving $98.5 million from DOE, warns of potential defaults in new SEC filings.

That is only a partial list.

If this all sounds eerily familiar, it should.

Especially the part about how an elected politician is breaking a campaign promise to not raise taxes.  Obama said he would lower taxes and is actually raising them.   He will claim that circumstances change and American have to adapt to them.

One similarity is inescapable.  The excesses of the past are going to have to be paid.  Thanks to the failed presidency of Obama, those excesses have grown disproportionately larger.

Putin Punks Obama

The most glaring example of diminishing United States power and influence around the globe is the dynamic taking place between the U.S. and Russia regarding Syria.

Russia has dispatched a flotilla of eleven warships, almost half of which have the ability to carry hundreds of marines to the eastern Mediterranean.  Some of those ships are to be docked in Syria. It is the greatest display of Russian power in the region since the start of Syria’s current conflict.

This is clearly a part of Russia’s effort to become a decisive power broker in Syria, and by extension, the Middle East.  Syria is Russia’s one remaining ally in the region and home to Tartus, the last remaining Soviet era military base outside of Russia.

The unusually large size of the deployment announced by Moscow can be considered a message.  The message is not just to the Middle East, but also to the United States.  The message is: We are strong and you are weak.

Not unexpectedly, the response from Washington was, to put it politely, muted.  Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for the National Security Council said:  “Russia maintains a naval supply and maintenance base in the Syrian port of Tartus.  We currently have no reason to believe this move is anything out of the ordinary, but we refer you to the Russian government for more details.”

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/11/world/middleeast/russia-sends-warships-on-maneuvers-near-syria.html?_r=1

The nature of this response will reaffirm to Putin that the current Oval Office occupant is willing to react passively and submissively to the Kremlin.  Leading from behind is seen by experienced global power brokers like Putin as weakness.

Although KGB style secrecy and the Kremlin’s careful manipulation of his image make him difficult to read, watching the recent body language between Putin and Obama makes it is clear for all to see that Putin has little respect for Obama.

Whether Putin or any other Soviet/Russian leader likes you or not is irrelevant to a successful foreign policy.  Ronald Reagan understood that.  George W. Bush understood that.  Mikhail Gorbachev respected Ronald Reagan and grew to like him.  Putin never openly displayed affection for Bush in the way Gorbachev did for Reagan, but Russia’s relative inaction during Bush’s presidency indicated that Putin respected him.  It seems clear that Putin saw, as a result of Bush’s actions, that Bush was ready and willing to promote U.S. interests and power abroad.  In Obama, Putin sees the inverse.  Putin does not see a partner in Obama.  He does not see an adversary in Obama.  In Obama, Putin sees a tool, a weakling who can be punked at will.  Russia’s military deployment to Syria reinforces that conclusion.

Obama’s insistence on making the world like him the cornerstone of his foreign policy is but one of a multitude of reasons why removing him in November is vital to American interests.

These Numbers Do Not Lie

In each of the States that elected Republican governors during the Tea Party dominated 2010 midterm elections, unemployment rates have gone down. According to an Examiner.com analysis, since Tea Party Republicans took over in January 2011, the average reduction in unemployment for those 17 States has been 1.35%.  When compared nationally, job creation in those States has been 50% better than the rest of the country.

The unemployment rate in States that elected “progressive” Democrats in 2010 saw a drop in rates matching the .9% national rate of decline.  In one of these “progressive” run States the unemployment rate actually went up, not down: New York – 8.2% to 8.6% = an increase of 0.4%.

  • Witness how unemployment rates have been reduced in the 17 States that elected fiscally Conservative governors back in 2010: Michigan -2.4%, Florida -2.3%, Nevada -2.2%, Alabama -1.9%, Ohio -1.7%, Tennessee -1.6%, South Carolina -1.5%, Georgia -1.2%, Wyoming -1.1%, Iowa -1.0%, New Mexico -1.0%, Wisconsin -0.9%, Kansas -0.8%, South Dakota -0.7%, Maine -0.6%, Pennsylvania -0.6%.

This is another substantiated example of how, when compared to fiscally Conservative Tea Party solutions, “progressive” economic policies fall short.  It also blows a gigantic hole in the “we’re making progress but can’t go back to policies that caused our economic problems” talking point “progressives” insist on repeating ad nauseam.

http://www.examiner.com/article/new-republican-governors-rapidly-bringing-down-unemployment-their-states

What this also indicates is that the real problem in America is “progressive” ideas, which have been being imported into the United States from Europe since the early 20th century.  Since then, America hostile “progressive” ideas have managed to infiltrate and infest both of America’s major political Parties.

The Republican vs. Democrat political paradigm is obsolete.  This is especially true where economic policies and government power are concerned. To more accurately describe the philosophical divide in today’s political landscape, think Americans vs. “progressives”.

It should be noted, “progressives” easily occupy a space within the “globalist” category.  Globalism is a clear and present danger to the very concept of national sovereignty; any nation’s national sovereignty.  Be assured that United States sovereignty is definitely being targeted.  “progressives” are eagerly playing a large part in this.

http://www.americanfreedomalliance.org/microsite/global-governance/program.htm

Americans want the United States to follow the Constitution, which limits the size, scope, reach and power of the central government to that prescribed by the Constitution.  “progressives” wish to “evolve” beyond America’s foundation document, favoring a central government that usurps the maximum amount of power possible from the States and from the people.

Although many Americans supported the invasion of Iraq and George W. Bush’s strong backing of the U.S. military, a careful examination of his Presidency shows that Bush increased the size and cost of the federal government.  He created the DHS, a large, expensive and essentially unnecessary Cabinet level bureaucracy.  If the underlying cause of the 9/11 terrorist attacks was the FBI and the CIA not sharing information, that could have been rectified with the proper use of an Executive Order directing the two intelligence agencies to share pertinent data.  Bush also greatly expanded the size, cost and presence of the TSA.  Remember that the next time your 87 year old grandmother or 4 year old niece is being openly groped by an overly-controlling faux uniformed union member who will be practically impossible to fire.  Bush worked with a Republican majority Legislature to enact Medicare part D, which imposed the financial burden onto the States.  Near the end of his Presidency he and his Goldman Sachs Treasurer promoted TARP, which put taxpayers on the hook to the tune of $700 billion.  He then used some of that money when the Feds bailed out GM and Chrysler.  While it can be argued that GMAC was a financial institute and therefore qualified for funds, there was no such justification for bailing out Chrysler. Not to mention adding $5 trillion to the national debt and nominating the current Supreme Court Chief Justice, who recently sided with “progressives” in preserving the biggest farthest reaching government power grab in U.S. history: the obama”care”tax.

Like it or not, it is a defensible position to say that the results of George W. Bush’s presidency indicate that in many instances he acted as a “progressive” Republican.

The chief discernible distinction between “progressive” Democrats and “progressive” Republicans is the rate at which government grows.

The government of the United States needs to shrink, not grow.  Europe has been growing their governments for decades.  That is one of the major reasons why their economies are failing.   “progressives” are trying to make America more and more like Europe.  Increasing government spending while expanding the size and scope of government bureaucracies and increasing the people’s dependency on government is not the way to fix a problem caused by big government spending, bloated bureaucracies and government dependency.

The last time America had an anything like an American president was when Ronald Reagan presided over the Oval Office.  Under the influence of the anti-American “progressive” economic policies of barrack obama, America’s GDP growth is currently 1.9%.  At this point in his first term, under the influence of Reagan’s pro-American economic policies, America’s GDP growth was 7.2%.

Unlike the passionately emotional “pay their fair share” argument used by “progressives”, the more dispassionate American view of looking at the numbers works.  Numbers do not lie.

For the America envisioned by its founders to survive, “progressives” must be stopped. Forget the (R) and the (D).  These political Party designations are growing increasingly meaningless.  Voters need to realign their thinking and begin voting for Americans and against “progressives”, regardless of Party affiliation.

If “progressives” currently living in America want to live in a European country doomed to economic failure, they can move to Europe.  They would be doing America a great favor.  An even bigger favor would be if they sent disenfranchised Europeans who want to live the American way to the United States.  America would definitely benefit from that exchange.

The Job Sinkhole

Today the American unemployment rate remains unchanged at 8.2 percent.  The economy is still five million jobs shy of the breakeven point as America continues to drown in a sea of growing government red ink while struggling to tread water under the overburden of oppressive big government regulations.

Since the start of the seemingly never ending “great recession”, the nation has lost 8.8 million jobs.  It has regained only 3.8 million, less than 44 percent.  According to the most recent Labor Department report, employers added only 80,000 jobs in June.  The economy averaged 75,000 jobs a month in the second quarter, one-third of the pace in the first quarter.  This makes the third straight month of weak hiring, clearly showing that the economy is still struggling under the weight of the current administration’s failed economic policies.

Thanks to the brilliance of Barrack Obama’s economic plan, over the course of the past two years, America’s alleged recovery has gone from adding an average of 161,000 per month to 150,000 per month, to 75,000 per month.  If a recovery was actually taking place, those numbers would be going up instead of down, right?  Instead a sinkhole is swallowing up hope for millions of Americans of finding a job.

Was there not a pledge made in 2009 by the self-imagined, self-appointed intellectual elites working in the White House that if American taxpayers funded the $878 billion “stimulus” package, unemployment would not go above 8 percent?  Was there not a promise that the “stimulus” would have unemployment down to 5.5 percent by now?  As it turns out the “stimulus” wasted taxpayer dollars, rewarded the current White House occupant’s “progressive” political cronies within the inefficient, unproductive, largely imaginary “green energy industry”, and made little to no dent in the jobless rate.  Claims of 4.4 million new jobs created must be met with severe skepticism, as should the equally dubious “jobs created or saved by the stimulus” claim. The unemployment numbers have never reflected that.

There are far too many people who know the real story because they are living it.  Claims made to the contrary by the obama re-election campaign do not matter because they do not match the reality people are living.  Regardless of what is loaded on the teleprompter, reality cannot and will not be explained away.  People living in the real world are not buying the administration’s theoretical cash for clunkers economics approach.  Taking money from successful businesses, skimming off the cost of doing business in Washington DC, then sending the remainder back to your favorite campaign bundlers who are running phony business fronts is not an economic recovery plan.  That is known as money laundering, Chicago style.

How long is it going to be before the current White House occupant and/or his surrogates start popping up like Whack-a-Moles on the Sunday morning political talk shows blaming all of this on George W. Bush?

Did someone say this Sunday?

Don’t Be Stupid, It’s Still the Economy

The United States Supreme Court has ruled.  The obama”care”tax is Constitutional.

Of course, that depends on what your definition of tax is.

Institutionalized “progressive” leftists in the “mainstream” media have mockingly praised the majority opinion of swing vote Chief Justice Roberts.  Conservatives have expressed scorn for Roberts over the decision.  How long will it be before there are calls to water board Roberts until he confesses to committing high crimes and misdemeanors, to be locked away indefinitely without trial in Guantanamo Bay?

Several weeks ago, Mitt Romney said: “It’s still the economy, and we’re not stupid.”  Then, after the Supreme Court handed his campaign a trillion pound sledgehammer with which to beat obama in the presidential race, Romney adviser Eric “Etch-A-Sketch” Fehrnstrom agreed with the obama administration on national television that the individual mandate in obama”care”tax is not a tax.

Cue the flashback of John McCain’s refusal to use Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Louis Farrakhan, Tony Rezko, Frank Marshall Davis and the highly questionable character of obama and his associations as a campaign issue in 2008.

Can you say pretty stupid?

In response, Conservatives demand that if Romney refuses to fight against the obama”care”tax he should quit the race.  Romney can no longer engage in that fight.  Romney’s campaign has managed to completely mishandle a gift handed to them on a silver platter by the Supreme Court.

That being said, there will be time to discuss the relative merits and pitfalls of the obama”care”tax ruling and Romney’s reaction after the election.  The mistakes of Roberts and Fehrnstrom have been made.  It is time to move on to what really matters to American voters.  The strategy must now be for the GOP presidential candidate to switch focus from the obama”care”tax controversy to America’s tepid economic recovery.

Recent official figures show that the U.S. economy grew by 1.9 percent in the first quarter of 2012, less than the 2.2 percent originally reported.  According to the annual report from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), this year’s growth forecast for the U.S. economy has been lowered to 2 percent.  The IMF also lowered its forecast for 2013 from 2.4 percent to 2.25 percent.  It also warned of the fiscal cliff known as taxmageddon, the $4 trillion tax increases and defense spending cuts that are due at the end of 2012.

The U.S. Gross Domestic Product growth rate in the first three months was slower than originally announced.  This news was accompanied by a downward revision in consumer spending.  After-tax corporate profits experienced their biggest fall since the last three months of 2008.

Meanwhile, U.S. employment rose only slightly in April.  The Labor Department reported claims for jobless benefits were higher last week, suggesting a slowdown in job creation

US retail sales fell for the second straight month in May, indicating that growth in the economy is still sluggish.  According to the U.S. Commerce Department, retail sales fell by 0.2 percent.

The Institute for Supply Management said Monday that U.S. manufacturing shrank in June for the first time in nearly three years.  The manufacturing activity index fell from 53.5 percent to 49.7 percent, the lowest reading since July 2009.  Readings below 50 indicate contraction.

The Federal Reserve cut its forecast for 2012 growth to between 1.9 percent and 2.4 percent. That’s half a percentage point lower than April’s estimate.

With facts and figures like these, it is time for the GOP to go aggressively back on the offensive against the failed economic policies of the current administration.  That the economy is tanking and employment prospects remain grim need not be explained to voters living that reality.

Give no quarter to the “progressive” campaign.  Do not let them off the mat.  While they are down, kick them as hard and as long as possible.  Rest assured, given half a chance, “progressives” kick with glee…without hesitation.

The survival of America and the principles upon which it was founded are facing an existential threat.  Don’t be stupid.

The Failed CEO

A struggling company interviewed for its CEO position a few years back. One of the potential candidates, an ambitious upper-level manager, convinced the board he could turn things around. Since the guy had risen from entry-level to mid-management to upper-management in a short amount of time, he was heralded as a rising star.

Despite never having headed any company before, he promised he would restore its previous financial strength, straighten out the poor business practices plaguing the company, increase production and even improve the company’s public relations in the global marketplace.

As a cherry on top, he pledged to make sure every employee and shareholder had a great benefits package, the cost of which would be covered by the company.

The hot-shot candidate was touted as the greatest thing since sliced bread, and despite a large number of shareholders who vigorously opposed hiring him for such a critical position, he was awarded the CEO job.

From the moment he got the keys to the executive washroom, he started making excuses. The balance sheet didn’t spring back to health the second he took the helm, but that was his predecessor’s fault. After all, the last CEO had nearly a decade to run the company into the ground. He didn’t cause the problem, he was just dealing with the mess he’d inherited.

Not only did he not improved the company’s finances, but during the first couple of years in command, he doubled the company’s skyrocketing debt. In fact, he increased it so much that every shareholder and their families would have to scrape up a good sum of investment money to cover the mistakes for decades to come.

However, despite the deepening shortfall of revenue, the CEO insisted the benefits package be pushed through. The plan would force every shareholder to invest in the package, and an additional penalty fee would be placed on all shareholders who chose not to opt-in to the program.

Working with a vocal majority of the board of directors who supported his plans, he forced a vote on the benefits package. Not surprisingly, his supporters on the board gave the approval. During the next board of directors’ election, many of those who had approved the measure were fired by the angered shareholders.

Still, the CEO doggedly charged ahead with his plan, implementing parts of it before the shareholders and new board of directors could review the intricate provisions in the plan’s playbook. He tried to explain away the lack of broad support as an problem in communications. The shareholders just didn’t get it, because he didn’t ‘communicate’ clearly what he was trying to do with the company.

In a couple of years, even those shareholders that had vociferously supported the new CEO, who thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread, began to realize they’d been duped. They’d fallen prey to the hype and the smooth words of the CEO, believing their lives would be easier.

This guy had sold them on his great plan for the company. He said they’d get a great return on investment, high dividends and really get their communities on solid footing again. Jobs would come back. People would get back to earning a living. Other companies would like them, want to do business with them. Life would be good again.

Instead, under this CEO, the company’s debt doubled within four years. Production costs went through the roof. Layoffs plagued every corner of the company. More jobs were lost, very few created. Seen as losing its momentum, the company’s public image in the global marketplace was even further diminished. Several of the top management team he’d brought in have resigned in disgrace or ‘sought other employment opportunities’ when it was discovered they’d been working against the company’s purposes.

People in the company, and those who had enjoyed the products and services offered in other markets, began to question if the company would even be able to continue to operate. Would it go bankrupt? Would it be bought out by outside investors? The competition sat poised to take on the previous customers and possibly to acquire the company through hostile takeover.

Yet through it all, the CEO insisted everything is going well, a position to which he adheres to this day. Jobs are being created, he states, despite the number of shareholders who can’t find work, can’t find enough work, or have simply given up trying.

We’ll be able to pay for it all, he states, despite the continued financial black hole the company is being sucked into due to his direction in company policy.

These policies will be good for everyone, he states, despite the number of experts in the field who have shown realistic numbers and projections to the contrary.

At every turn, this CEO ignores the shareholders’ wishes, deflects any criticism of his performance with paranoia (they don’t follow along with his plans because they’re out to get him personally), and remains apparently oblivious to the worsening situation for which his very own policies are responsible.

In a few months, the shareholders again will meet for a performance review of the CEO. The current occupant of the job is hoping the shareholders will renew his contract, which expires at the end of the year. A portion of the board of directors are worried about their jobs.

And the shareholders are growing weary of the same promises and policies that not only don’t pan out, but which put their livelihood in jeopardy.

Honestly, how long would any sensible company have waited to fire this kind of poor performance? Even given the four-year cycle, could an executive, privileged or not, expect to hang on to his job after the debacle of the past four years?

Like in a lot of companies, the shareholders of the United States often skip the shareholders’ meeting – election day – choosing instead to let others make critical decisions that will guide the course of the country. We can’t afford to let this happen in the 2012 election. I’ve heard several people say they just weren’t going to vote because ‘their candidate’ dropped out of the primary. If the past four years are any indication, we can’t afford to let our country remain in Obama’s hands for four more years. We must get the word out, get our complacent shareholders involved and voting.

Come November, I think it’s only fair to send Barack Obama a form letter the likes of which many of us, who trying to find jobs in the economy he promised to make better, have received during the past four years of his tenure:

WTF?

Like a puppy who hasn’t quite got the hang of potty training yet, the administration is still struggling with decorum and behavior befitting the office of the presidency.

In a move best described as presidential potty mouth, the official twitter account of President Barack Obama posted “Still a BFD” hours after the ruling on the Affordable Health Care Act, obviously referring to the hot-mic incident at the bill’s signing. Vice President Joe Biden displayed a little diarrhea of the mouth whispering, “this is a big f—ing deal,” on live television.

Apparently, the official “tweeter” for the president failed to see the backlash from a social media faux pas courtesy of Democrat National Committee Executive Director Patrick Gaspard that occurred earlier in the day. Several hours before the president’s juvenile tweet, Gaspard took to Twitter to gloat saying, “it’s constitutional. B-tch-s.”

Gaspard later apologized, but the obnoxious statement had already been re-tweeted over 1,500 times.

Keeping the lack of class and complete disrespect for the office of the presidency going, Obama Campaign Manager Jim Messina proceeded to send a hasty email from the official campaign address just a few hours later with the subject line, “Let’s win the d-mn election.” The short content of the message repeated the vulgarity as if to prove beyond doubt the act was intentional and well-thought.

Perhaps the president, his campaign staff and the DNC could take a manners class to learn proper language and respect. In the meantime, I’ll continue to line my new puppy’s crate with the newspaper stories about the presidential potty mouth. I’d be willing to bet he’ll be potty trained faster than the president can fix his behavior.

obamacare: Tip of the Iceberg

Since the ruling by the United States Supreme Court on Thursday, June 28, 2012, the big news in America has been how the obama administration, then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid misrepresented the legislation to Congress, the Senate and the public.

It was consistently presented as a cost saving measure that would reduce the size of U.S. national deficits, thus helping pay down the debt, while improving the quality and lowering the costs of healthcare. Insurance premiums would be reduced.  It would provide coverage for uninsured millions.  If you liked the doctor and healthcare plan you had, you would be able to keep them.

Regrettably for American Citizens, with the exception of covering additional people, none of the rest was ever true.  It will add to the deficit and to the debt.  The quality and availability of healthcare will go down.  Existing doctors will retire and fewer prospective doctors will enter medical practice since the rewards will be outstripped by the costs of a medical education.  Insurance premiums have been will continue to rise, leading employers to drop coverage for employees, thereby adding to the likelihood that both your doctor and your plan will change.

It was never explained how a system cited as being too expensive was going to fund a new federal bureaucracy, start covering more people with the same number of facilities and personnel at a lower cost, while saving the nation trillions of dollars.

Now, we  know – Obama, Pelosi, Reid and company all lied.

Especially President Obama, who repeatedly pledged to Americans making less than $250,000 that their taxes would never go up.  Not their income tax, not their payroll tax, not their capital gains tax.  None of those taxes would go up, not by one single dime, ever.

The truth is revealed: obamacare: Seven New Taxes on Citizens Earning Less than $250,000

It doesn’t stop there.  Attacks have been made on religious liberties. See healthcare mandate on contraception in religious affiliated institutions:

There have been assaults on freedom of the press. See White House and Media Matters coordinate attacks on FOX News:

Egregious though these examples may be, in the big picture they are only the tip of the iceberg.

•He has violated the individual liberties of all Americans by imposing forced participation in a government healthcare regulatory system without their consent.

•He has collaborated with his Attorney General to ignore equal protection under the law in favor of selective protections based upon arbitrary factors.

•He has violated American bankruptcy laws by willfully denying secured bond holders first payment, in favor of unsecured political supporters.

•He has violated the Constitution by accepting the position of Chairmanship of the UN Security Council.

•He has ignored the Constitutional separation of power by appointing “czars” to oversee matters that are intended to be handled by the legislative branch of the government.

•He has violated the First Amendment right to freedom of the press, by attacking television and radio networks, stations and broadcasters while attempting censorship.

•He has violated the individual’s right to free speech through creation of an email address to report Citizens in a blatant attempt to silence dissent through intimidation.

•He has violated the Law by ignoring the War Powers Act and engaging the United States military in overseas hostilities without the consent of Congress.

•He has violated the First Amendment by attempting to impose restrictions on free speech through implementation of Net Neutrality by the FCC.

•He has endeavored to interfere in the free market through the imposition of The Clean Energy and Security Act, which mandates carbon emissions be reduced to 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020, 42 percent by 2030, and 84 percent by 2050. By 2020, this tax will extract an estimated $160 billion from the economy, or an average $1,870 per family.

•He has violated the Constitution by having the government offer $4,500 rebates to people for turning in older motor vehicles for newer vehicles

•He has interfered in America’s free market by having the National Labor Relations Board sue a privately owned company for planning to open for business in a State that protects an employee’s ability to work free of forced union membership.

•He has interfered in the free market by imposing restrictions and regulations on petroleum, natural gas and coal production in the United States.

•He has abandoned enforcing the security of American borders and protected illegal immigrants from prosecution for violation of immigration laws:

•He has abandoned and insulted our most enduring and faithful allies through speech and action, the most glaring among these being placing the State of Israel on the list of nations that foster terrorism.

•He has sought to impose additional taxes on America without the people’s Consent.

•For depriving American Citizens in some cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury.

•For transferring billions of dollars to enemies of the United States through Foreign Aid.

•For ignoring the Constitutional separation of powers by publicly attacking the Supreme Court of the United States.

•For attacking America’s bedrock family values by ordering the Department of Justice to not defend the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act.

•For repeated attacks upon America’s Christian foundation.

•For repeatedly slandering American Citizens with false accusations of racism, violent tendencies and hatred.

•For grossly accelerating and increasing the amount of America’s debt through passage of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, which had negligible effect on unemployment, sent billions of dollars overseas and wasted billions domestically by lining the pockets of political cronies while bailing out States guilty of practicing irresponsible budgetary policies.

•For putting America and America’s allies at greater risk through cancellation of missile defense systems.

•For expanding the need for enormous increases in government borrowing,

•For collaborating with his Attorney General to try enemy combatants in civilian Courts.

•For collaborating with his Attorney General and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in the implementation of operation Fast and Furious, which has been implicated in the murder of American Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

•For devaluing America’s currency by engaging in the practice of Quantitative Easing, allowing the Federal Reserve to purchase trillions of dollars of our national debt.

The list could continue.

A president, whose character is thus marked by acts which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to govern a free people.

Remember.

R.I.P. Liberty

On June 28, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. EST, obamacare was ruled unconstitutional via the Commerce Clause, yet ruled Constitutional on the grounds that it is a tax, even though the current White House occupant claimed it wasn’t a tax while jamming it through Congress and trying unsuccessfully to sell it to the American public.

http://www.wtop.com/209/2109971/High-court-upholds-key-part-of-Obama-health-law

The Supreme Court of the United States’ landmark ruling on obamacare and obama breaking his oft repeated pledge to not raise taxes on middle class Americans happened simultaneously.

obamacare is a $1.7 trillion tax increase from the candidate who repeatedly swore during the 2008 election and afterwards that during his administration, if you make less than $250,000 a year “you will not see your taxes increase by one single dime, I repeat, not one single dime”…

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2009/09/obama-mandate-is-not-a-tax/

Unfortunately for obama, as a result of the Supreme Court ruling, beginning in 2014 all Americans will be taxed an additional $700 or 2% of their income (whichever is greater) for not having healthcare insurance.

obama is vulnerable to attack over this ruling because the Justices did not rule obamacare Constitutional under the commerce clause.  It was only ruled constitutional once viewed as a new tax. Since obama publically and repeatedly said he would never raise taxes on middle class earners, he has to disagree with this ruling, especially because obamacare was ruled unconstitutional under the commerce clause.

Do not hold your breath.

What this clearly shows is that “progressives” are more than happy to use the power of the government to force Americans into doing what they do not want to do.   In order to accomplish that objective, they will lie, cheat, steal and kill without a shred of remorse.  Lie? Look at obama’s no tax pledge.  Cheat? Look at Senator Al Franken’s 2008 election victory.  Steal? Look at all the taxes taken out of every paycheck.  Kill? Look at the results of Fast and Furious.

R.I.P Liberty.

Americans are now subjects. Not citizens.  Enjoy your new tax and enslavement America.

Next obama, being the ever faithful “progressive” that he is will readjust his re-election campaign messaging to run against the middle class tax increase imposed on Americans by that evil GOP appointed Chief Justice Roberts.

Race Isn’t Everything, It’s the Only Thing

Contempt of Congress charges are being levied against U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder because he is a champion “supporting measures to overturn these voter-suppression initiatives in the states”.  So says Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

A “progressive” has spoken.  End of story.

It is absolutely inconceivable that contempt of Congress charges could be over secret documents pertaining to the murder of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.  It certainly could not have anything to do with weapons lost in the botched Fast and Furious gunrunning operation. Not in any way, shape or form.  Not no way, not no how.  Such conclusions are completely out of the question.  To even suggest such possibilities prove beyond all reasonable doubt that you are indisputably a closed minded, razor toothed racist vampire who is exactly like that evil, lily white, ship jobs overseas vulture capitalist Mitt Romney.  You have always been a racist.  You will always be a racist.  Your parents were racists.  Your children will be racists.  You are in love with your racism.  You are proud of your racist views.  You hope your racist views and ways will spread across the country and ideally, the entire world.

Racist, racist, racist, racist, racist, racist, racist…

Welcome to the “progressive” States of America, where race isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.

Never mind that on the subject of race Eric Holder called the United States “a nation of cowards”.  In case the subtlety escapes you, Holder thinks the entire nation is racist.  Of course for Holder, racists are white by definition.

Forever erase from your memory the fact that Eric Holder dismissed a slam dunk case of voter intimidation committed by member of the New Black Panthers Party in Philadelphia during the 2008 election.  That there are eye witnesses and video evidence showing that they were in uniform, wielding clubs and verbally taunting potential voters proves nothing.

Forget that the U.S. Department of Justice is suing Arizona and other States because they are acting responsibly by protecting U.S. Citizens from invasion.  In the “progressive” States of America, that too is racist.

Ensuring voter integrity in American elections by carefully reviewing voter rolls in order to root out fraudulent votes is forbidden.  To engage in such activity is…yes, you guessed it…racist!

Perhaps it would be a useful to take this exercise to its inevitable conclusion:

If you wear white sneakers instead of ones of color, you must be racist.  If you wear a white t-shirt instead of one of color, you are clearly a racist.  If you drive a white car instead of one of color, you simply must be a proud, long practicing racist…especially if your car has whitewall tires.  Any and all students who write on white notepads instead of ones of color must be racists.  All places of residence where the walls are painted with white paint are populated by racists.  Watching a movie or television show starring Betty White?  Sitting on a white toilet seat?  Using the white pages in the phone book?  Wearing white socks and underwear?  Reading books containing white pages?  Knowing someone whose last name is White?  Using white copy paper?  Those vendors who mail their customers telephone, gas and electric bills in white envelopes?  Drying your hands with a white towel?  Puffy white clouds in the sky?

You guessed it: morally reprehensible.

Considering the clearly racist clothing policy practiced by the Wimbledon tennis tournament, it is easy to understand obama’s resentment towards and dislike for the British.

It would be suitable to refer to an old fable about the boy who cried wolf, but that would open the floodgates for charges of racism over use of the term “boy”.

“progressive” Media Spin Continues Unabated

Consistent with a clear pattern of widespread institutionalized “progressive” left media bias, Yahoo News once again uses headlines to promote their version of the news.  They report that whoever wins the presidency in November will have negligible impact on the economy.

The “news headline” reads:

Poll: Election winner won’t impact economy much

The story reports on results of a new Associated Press-GfK poll, which shows that half of America says it will not matter which presidential candidate, either barack obama or Mitt Romney wins the White House.  The chances of the winner having much of an impact on jobs creation are seen as slim to none.

Anecdotal testimony is then provided…from a retired policeman, a pre-school teacher and a mechanical engineer who backs obama.

Are not police officers and teachers members of unions, which are strong Democratic supporters?  Were not the police and teacher unions heavily invested, involved and outspoken in favor of Democrats during the recent, hotly contested, highly partisan Governor’s recall election in Wisconsin?  What reason is there then to conclude that this poll sampling and accompanying anecdotal evidence are not tainted by a pre-selected demographic and therefore nothing more than “progressive” spin, intended to create a false impression from which readers are subliminally “nudged” towards reaching a predetermined conclusion?

The telling part of the story that indicates the real problem is largely overshadowed by the way it is lumped in with tainted, biased anecdotal “evidence”:

“Years of disappointing economic news following the 2007-2009 recession have deflated American optimism. And worries about financial troubles in Europe and congressional gridlock at home hang over the future.”

Years of disappointing economic news following the recession are the result of failed policies enacted by an extremely partisan “progressive” Democratic House, Senate and Chief Executive who were dedicated to enacting their radical fringe leftist agenda intended to spur rapid government sector growth while taking over and imposing regulatory controls upon huge portions of the private sector economy.

Financial troubles in Europe can be attributed to decades spent following the same big government tax and spend policies American “progressives” are misrepresenting to the United States as the “solution” to problems caused by big government tax and spend policies.  Crushing the private sector with regulations and taxes, while spending the tax revenues on “entitlement” programs or benefits and salaries for government employees has yet to usher in true European prosperity.  Today’s evidence is quite to the contrary.

Congressional gridlock at home is a consequence of American voters deciding in the 2010 midterm election that having unchecked out of control “progressives” running Washington DC was counter to the nation’s best interests.

A Republican President, working with Republican majorities in the House and the Senate will not be experiencing the gridlock caused by obama’s disastrous, ideologically driven, highly partisan, continuously inflexible “it’s my way or the highway” governing style.

There is pent up anticipation that after years of anti-business, anti-energy, anti-growth, “progressive” policies, resounding Republican victories in November’s races will trigger a bull market on Wall Street, as well as spur business investment and hiring.

Naturally, for card carrying members of the “progressive” Party Pravda, whose primary objective is re-election of the current White House occupant, the tainted poll results of a mere 1,007 justifies influencing the decisions of thousands of online readers with headlines based on “progressive” spin masked by highly questionable anecdotal evidence.
