Sept. 30th 2012 — At 12:05 a.m. EDT (11:05 p.m. local time) a 3.4 magnitude earthquake hit near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas.

According to coordinates provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the earthquake was 10.5 miles Northeast of the $1.3 Billion Cowboys Stadium – which is the largest domed stadium in the world and home of the Dallas Cowboys NFL football franchise.
