Farrakhan: Racists Will try to Assassinate Obama

Straight from the Department of Crazy Old Men Who Used to Be Influential Leaders and Now Are Nothing More Than Walking Soundbites: the Minister Louis Farrakhan spoke to thousands of Nation of Islam followers Sunday in Chicago. He warned that racial division in America could lead to an attempt on President Obama’s life.  Never one to embrace subtleties Farrakhan went on to rant for three hours on extreme weather, moms and McDonalds, and the old standby…wait for it…Jews in the media! To be fair, Farrakhan left no one out of his criticisms.  The Chicago Tribune is reporting he also scolded Obama for trying to remove certain Middle East leaders and intimated that Osama Bin Laden had been killed because American leaders feared there was not enough evidence to tie him to terrorism. One thing he did say that I think we can agree on: “The vital signs of America are not good”.

In the audience as an honored guest was controversial Cathaolic priest and Chicago community activist Father Michael Pfleger. It’s hard to say which of the two is the worst media whore.  Father Pfleger has publicly flouted the rules of his diocese for years in the Chicago area and has no shame in being a so-called representative of Jesus Christ (a Jew, by the way) while  standing shoulder to shoulder with the one of the most blatantly anti-Semitic public figures in the country. Sounds like a real barn-burner of a celebration.

Perhaps Minister Farrakhan has been probed by aliens one too many times. In addition to his strange rantings in celebration of “Saviour’s Day”, he added that he believes certain elements in the government will try to set up a Muslim “patsy” to take the fall for Obama’s assassination.  Says Farrakhan, “I believe they want a Muslim to kill President Obama.”

You can see a full write-up and video of the speech at the Chicago Tribune.

Letter to Congress: Uphold Your Oath or Resign

January 10, 2012

Sen. Inhofe, Sen. Coburn, Rep. Boren:

I am writing concerning several issues that show a total contempt for the Constitution and We the People of the United States of America by Barack Obama, and more frightening, the Congress of the United States of America. I have just been made aware of S. 1698 which seeks to strip citizenship from citizens “engaged in war against the United States”. I realize the wording is vague and leans towards double-talk on purpose, and that is what I take issue with. It seems members of Congress are systematically stripping We the People of any right to protest, or fight against the tyranny being foisted upon us by our own government, and parsing words to accomplish their sinister task.

This is supposedly aimed at “homegrown terrorists” but we all know the definition of that term today. The only parameter of the Homeland Security profile I don’t fit is that I still have all of my fingers. Their definition of “homegrown terrorist” seems to be aimed at patriotic American citizens not the true terror threats, Islamic radicals. As a matter of fact, I haven’t seen Islamic radicals on their list of dangerous people, so-called “potential terrorists”. I fit the profile but Muslim males 18-35 don’t. Oops, sorry, can’t profile Muslim males 18-35, that is racist. This all seems a bit odd to me since we have been attacked by these nuts several times, and can expect even more attacks, including the possibility of a nuclear attack on one or more of our cities.

This comes on the heels of S. 1867/HR 1540, a bill which blatantly broadens the ability of the president to order the indefinite detention of any citizen without charges, at locations within or outside of the United States. I know it has been said that this does not refer to We the People, but Sen. Lindsey Graham, Sen. John McCain, and Barack Obama have publicly disputed that notion. Sections 1021 and 1022 are in direct conflict with each other as to the meaning of the wording, which lends a great deal of lee-way towards tyranny if one should be inclined and I tend to think one would be inclined based on the actions I see coming from Washington D. C. every day.

The NDAA also provides for the staffing of the FEMA camps, the ones that have been denied to exist. When I wrote about those camps a couple of years ago I was told they are for victims of natural disasters. No one answered my concerns about the design of the camps to resemble the Nazi concentration camps of World War II. I don’t understand the need for 12 ft. high fences topped with razor wire and barbed wire, just to provide temporary homes for flood, hurricane, or tornado victims. Why are they suddenly being staffed by the NDAA, with bids going to Halliburton recently? Are we expecting an unforcasted natural disaster to crop up any time soon or is it in preparation for the imposition of martial law and the suspension of the Constitution as requested by North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr, Rep. Maxine Waters, and others in congress?

Pile all of this on top of S. 679, legislation that takes any away oversight by Congress in presidential appointments and we have the end game of a dictatorship, ala Venezuela. I see Congress deliberately abrogating their responsibilities under the Constitution and giving this, or any, president the right to do as he wishes regardless of the law. When we have United States Senators saying a president should be allowed to appoint anyone he wants regardless of their intentions regarding upholding the Constitution We the People have every right to be concerned. The extension of the “Patriot Act” wasn’t blatant enough so we have to go with even more. That law alone is so unConstitutional that it takes away the very basis of our Republic.

Today, the 10th Circuit upheld the ruling by Judge Vicki Miles-LeGrange that State Question 755, the anti Sharia and International Law bill, as being unConstitutional. This passed with 70% of We the People voting for it. This is more tyranny based on the whining of CAIR, claiming it is unConstitutional because it bars using Sharia Law in Oklahoma. Any idiot should be able to see Sharia Law goes against the Constitution and is therefore not applicable in America. SQ 755 has nothing to do with religious freedom. I fail to see how this can be ruled unConstitutional in the first place, much less upheld on appeal.

Members of Congress, as do federal judges, swear to uphold and defend the Constitution but I don’t see that happening in Congress or the courts much these days. I see bill after bill, judicial ruling after judicial ruling, coming through that denigrates my freedom and no one up there seems to give it a thought. I know bills don’t get read because of the surprise on the faces and in the words of members of Congress when the provisions come out. The two biggest backers of the NDAA, Graham and McCain, didn’t know about the removal of sodomy and bestiality rules for our military. Is that to accommodate Muslims? After all, they are known for their affection for animals. After it was passed and signed, they feign surprise with, “I didn’t know that was in there”. What else did they, or you, not know is in there?

Gentlemen, WE the People are fed up. We are only going to take so much before your rules are going to fall on deaf ears and we will run our nation without you. You are employees of We the People, not monarchs. We decide what is Constitutional and what is not. Government has grown too big for its britches and needs to take a good look at how our nation was designed. When patriotic citizens of this nation are called terrorists and the real terrorists are called victims of bigotry something is very wrong. Our nation is on the verge of collapse and Congress has its foot on the accelerator running us off a cliff.

It is time for you to stand up and publicly call for the resignations of John Boehner and Mitch McConnell. It is time for you to stand up and demand the arrest of Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and Kenneth Melson over Operation Fast & Furious. They should be arrested and held without bond for murder in the death of border patrol Agent Brian Terry, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to violate gun laws, and treason for conspiracy to subvert the 2nd Amendment by their involvement in Operation Fast & Furious.

They should not be allowed to flaunt any law that I am expected to abide by. What do you think would be my fate if I violated the same laws blatantly violated by them? If you are not willing to do this then you have no right to expect me or any other American citizen to obey any law anywhere. You certainly do not have the right to expect us to honor your legislation if you cannot honor the Constitution. Do your duty, your sworn duty, to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and stop playing word games with We the People.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

Dallas Christmas Day Slayings: Muslim Honor Killing?

The slaughter of 7 people in the Dallas, Texas suburb of Grapevine on Christmas Day appears to be a case of an “honor killing” and suicide by a Muslim father angry that his 19 year old daughter was dating a non-muslim young man.

According to reports in the Dallas Morning News, the father, Aziz Yazdanpanah didn’t like his daughter’s non-Muslim boyfriend and was exhibiting stalker behavior.

“She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion.”

Victims have been identified as Yazdanpanah, his estranged 55-year-old wife, Fatemeh Rahmati, their 19-year-old daughter, Nona Narges Yazdanpanah, and 15-year-old son, Ali Yazdanpanah.

Friends of the family said Fatemeh Rahmati’s 58-year-old sister, Zohreh Rahmaty, and her husband, Hossein Zarei, 59, and daughter Sahra Zarei, a 22-year-old pre-med student at the University of Texas at Arlington, also were killed.

A neighbor at the apartment complex reportedly saw the suspected shooter get out of his white sport utility vehicle dressed in a Santa outfit, including a full coat, pants, boots and belt. Based in part on that witness account, police believe the shootings occurred about the time a 911 call rang into the station at 11:34 a.m. Sunday.

Police have not yet stated a positive motive and said that determination would come when the investigation has been completed.

GOP Candidates Finally Say The Word "Muslim"

For me, this by far has been the best debate. It’s about time the candidates had the courage to say words like “Muslim”, “Islam” , and *GASP* “Jihadist”.

Gingrich and Santorum win as the the most informed regarding the threat of Islam against United States.  Romney gave his usual slick answers, however I’m not convinced that he will do everything he says given his flip flop record. Bachmann, never scared to mix things up, told it like it is. PLUS, she gets major cool points for being willing to say “Jihadist” first. Herman Cain, has a bold plan… And then there is Ron Paul.

I’m not really sure exactly where he stands. Initially, I thought he was a Muslim sympathizer and completely ignorant of the Jihad threat. However, after speaking with a rational Paul supporter, whose opinion I respect, I may possibly take a different stance. I don’t consider myself a Libertarian, but do share their Constitutionalists views. It IS a slippery slope when it comes to singling out a specific ethnic group. Unfortunately, history is not on Muslims side when it comes to the benefit of a doubt. So they get none from me.

I am going to contact Congressman Paul’s office myself and see if I can determine his stance on hardcore and stealth Jihad.

But We Were Tolerant!

Islamization is one the largest, if not the largest, threat facing the nation today. If you don’t think so, chances are you haven’t done your homework regarding the subject. Don’t be fooled by lack of Muslim violence in the United States, as opposed to Muslim nations, or what you see in Europe.

A thought occurred to me the other day. Why is it that the only country in the world I hear Imams talk of peace is the United States? It is my firm belief that the ONLY reasons are the First and Second Amendments. Americans can say whatever they want about Islam without fear of reprisal. Although it appears that Muslims, in conjunction with their “progressive” partners, are trying to change that. In addition, the Second Amendment is our right to bear arms. So if Muslims, or anyone for that matter, decide to threaten our sovereignty we can defend ourselves. American, you need to wake up and realize what is happening right before your eyes. Do not conform to the political correctness standard. That’s what they did in Europe, especially France. Worked out well for them didn’t it?

I decided to write a “what could happen” piece on what the United States could look like in the not so distant future if we don’t stand up to the threat of Islamization. If it seems far fetched to you, then I encourage you follow the hyperlinks associated to get an idea of what’s happening in the world today.

A typical American family, (what you would’ve considered typical today) is walking down the street. The problem is, things aren’t typical anymore. The family of five moves down the street looking more a tactical military unit than a family. They do so for good reason. Mom and Dad hold the hands of their toddler son and two teenage daughters, moving from building to building with a vigilance born of experience. Dad remembers the days of the entire family climbing in the car for the Sunday morning drive to church. Sometimes the morning routine was peaceful, sometimes not. But, they never had worry about dying on the way. The underground church network has done a good job rotating the meeting place and filtering the message to it’s members.

The Waters family disappeared last week and everyone learned from their mistakes. The O’Niell family’s daughters were kidnapped last month and no one has seen or heard from them since. Everyone knows what probably happened. People had an inkling leading up to this, but we all chose to ignore it. It could never happen in the United States, right? We were supposed to have an airtight Constitution that would protect us from this sort of thing. The Government kept telling us to trust them! That they could make decisions for me, better than I. Additionally, there were the groups like CAIR, who said they protected the rights of all people and religions. And now here we are.

Dad spots them first and moves quickly to get his family to side of the building and out of sight: A gang of about 6 to 9 men and boys of all ages. You know who they are because of their signature head wraps and hats. They stopped pretending to be our friends years ago. Especially after they had control of the local and state governments. When we sit down and really discuss it, we draw the conclusion that it started in Florida. The day that judge ruled Sharia law could be used in a civil dispute. It seemed so insignificant at the time….. It was gradual and hardly anyone even noticed it. Before we realized what happened, they flooded all levels of the federal government. The First Amendment was abolished, followed shortly by the Second. It went down hill from there. Soon all religions, except theirs, were abolished. Everyone who refused to convert was called an infidel, hunted down, and most times murdered. How could this be? I thought this sort of thing only happened in movies and fictional books. They said they represented a religion of peace and tolerance, that they only wanted to live a moral life. One that was pleasing to Allah.

OH NO! They’ve been spotted!! Dad couldn’t get the family to the side of the building fast enough. Like a pack of wolves they move in on the family. Hollering and screaming in English and other languages the message is the same. Mom and Dad are savagely beat to a bloody pulp. Through blood soaked eyes the parents search for their children, they hear the screams. The last thing the parents hear before the fade the black was the son crying and the men arguing over who would get the daughters first. As he lays on the ground unable to move or speak, Dad silently weeps for his family. And amidst the many the many thoughts racing through his head, one of last are……But we were tolerant!

Need A Good Laugh?

This guy is HILARIOUS! He is a Muslim comedian, and is very funny!

As The Blaze says, Azhar Usman is “part of ‘a fresh wave of humor’ that is sweeping clergy and comics, [and] a welcome distraction from the contentious social and political debates that often surround faith and religion’.”

With Friends Like These…

Since the beginning of the War on Terror, the United States has taken on the task of forming hostile nations into allies in the Middle East. The best analogy I can think of to currently describe the way things have gone is likening our nation building efforts to the comic strip “Peanuts”. The nations that we go to war with are much like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown, America in this scenario, to kick. We run to kick the football, Lucy moves the football, and we fall on our behind. The difference is that immediately afterward, Charlie Brown knows that he’s been had and vows to never fall for that again, before he inevitably does. Our politicians on the other hand, refuse to reflect on the results of past interventions and many times embrace a “full steam ahead” approach.

I don’t write this as apologetics for Ron Paul, the Cato Institute, the founding fathers, Reason Magazine or any other well known libertarian intellectual cause. Instead, I’m going to use an inherently conservative thought process, the cost-benefit analysis. Liberals hate the cost-benefit analysis because it shows that their government programs to be counter-productive; this is why they often resort to arguing based on emotions and intent. Unfortunately, despite President Bush’s noble intentions, the major engagements of the War on Terror may not pass the cost-benefit test.

We invaded Afghanistan in 2001 to eliminate Al-Qaeda and to topple the country’s acting government, the Taliban. While fighting the enemy, we also helped set up an acting Afghan government. And in 2004 Hamid Karzai was elected president of the country and the US has supported him ever since. However, it has been revealed that Karzai and his family are corrupt and that he perhaps fraudulently won re-election in 2009. The US decided to express its disapproval by sending a troop surge of 30,000 to double down on our efforts of giving him a stable country to govern. Worse yet, its also been learned that Karzai, behind our back, has been in talks with the Taliban and has had diplomatic relations with Iran. But even before Karzai’s corruption became apparent, he still wasn’t exactly our BFF. Karzai frequently threw the US “under the bus” in press conferences and openly supports the farmers there growing Opium poppy despite our requests. Even taking Karzai out of the equation, a cost-benefit analysis must be done (not in this article) on whether or not we should still be fighting in Afghanistan. Former CIA director and current Secretary of Defense Leon Panneta estimated in 2010 that there were no more than 50-100 Al-Qaeda still in the country.

Next we turned to Iraq. Saddam Hussein was a terrible dictator who ended up getting what he deserved, not many Americans on either side of the political aisle would disagree with that. But, as the Iraq war winded down and the US turned into a police force to help stabilize their government, the people at home wondered what the new Iraqi government would look like. While still in its infant stages, details of the new Iraqi government have been disappointing at best. It appears as though Iraq has warmed up to its former hated enemy, Iran. This is particularly bad, because the Iraq-Iran conflict helped to keep Iran in check. This is why in the 1980s we helped supply Iraq with materials to produce chemical/biological weapons; with the idea of them to using the weapons against Iran. Further showing its gratitude towards the US, Iraq recently voted against Saudi Arabia’s proposal to increase oil production at OPEC’s 2011 conference. Seeing nations turn their back on the US after the US had invested large sums of money isn’t particularly unusual, but what makes this different is that the US still has 50,000 soldiers over there. This is a blatant slap in the face.

Worst of all is Libya. If there is something positive to be said of the War in Libya, one could say that its been the least costly of the wars. Despite its comparatively low price tag, Libya could quite possibly have the costliest long term consequences. To clarify, just like Saddam, Muammar Gaddafi is an evil dictator who deserves whatever grisly fate that awaits him. But, the United States went to war for the stated goal of stopping an alleged massacre that never took place, not for “regime change”. Then, in spite of goals which stated otherwise, we stayed until the regime change was complete. Now the question that remains is, “What now? Who are these rebels?”. That answer appears to be an interesting mix of regular citizens who grew tired of their oppressor, radical Islamic insurgents, and long term US ally Al-Qaeda. Wait… no, that’s not right, Al-Qaeda’s goal is to destroy the US and Israel. While the new Libyan constitution hasn’t been written, it was released that Sharia law is anticipated to be the main source of inspiration. If the Muslim Brotherhood’s popularity in Egypt is any indication, the so called “Arab Spring” will not have positive long term effects on the US and it’s allies. Rarely do events have 100% negative consequences without a silver lining, and Libya very well could be one of those times. In life there are disappoints and ideas that backfire, but rarely do you spend money and resources to create a nation whose leadership’s stated goal is to destroy you. Before many marriages that end in divorce go bad, there is usually a blissful honeymoon. Likewise the Libyan rebels started off giving the US a deserved gift, by denying their request to extradite Lockerbie bomber Al-Megrahi.

The Middle East has plenty of hostile countries, some unfriendly indifferent nations, and very few allies. One of those nations considered friendly to the US is Kuwait, particularly after we saved them from Saddam Hussein’s invasion in Desert Storm. Now to Kuwait’s credit, they have repaid us with their support in the UN by voting against us a region-low 67% of the time. More and more on the right, people grow disenfranchised by our foreign involvements. Republican California Congressman Dana Rohrabacher said that behind closed doors, most republicans will admit that Iraq was a mistake. This sentiment briefly gave businessman Donald Trump the affection of some republicans when he considered a presidential run. One of Trump’s main platforms was taking trillions of dollars in oil from Iraq to offset our costs there. The fact that the idea garnered some support among republicans shows that at the very least, they’re willing to admit that the Iraq war didn’t yield desired results; so they feel the need to get something out of it. I agree that in retrospect, knowing what we know now, it was a mistake. But you can’t go around taking nation’s oilfields or anything else for that matter, might doesn’t make right. The equivalent I draw from the people who support the US taking oil from these nations we intervene in is this: Let’s say I cut your grass without me asking. You either try to stop me or passively let it happen. When its done I take some household appliances to compensate myself.

A best case scenario in these countries is that we pay billions yearly for their defense, having them become reliant on us, allowing them to become socialist in nature; all while complaining about our presence and influence. This allows them to become what I like to call “International democrats”. They do nothing to warrant the US taxpayer paying for their defense or fighting for them, yet we do it. What would be better is if we charged them at cost or more for us to protect them, but even then, that’s only a solution if you want to use our military men and women as mercenaries instead of only using them to “protect the US Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic”. Better would be forcing these nations to pay for their own defense, taking them off the government payroll.

In the world there are going to be problems that arise on an international level. Friendly dictators and elected officials alike will lose power or get overthrown from time to time. When a US-friendly regime loses power its one thing, when the US pays great costs in lives and money to create a hostile regime is infinitely worse. Woodrow Wilson’s progressive dream is alive and well today with the goal of “making the world safe for democracy”, championed by republicans (McCain, Graham) and democrats (Lieberman). Creating democracies in a region where the people who make up the electorate despise the US would seem to make the policy mutually exclusive with safety at home.

"We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kids’ Book of Freedom" – Education or Hate?

We are just days away from the 10th anniversary of the day that changed America.

September 11, 2001, started off bright and beautiful for America, just as any other day. However, before the day really got started good, that bright and beautiful day turned into a very dark day.

Two thousand, eight hundred and nineteen people lost their lives that day. (The official figure as of 9/5/02): 2,819)

As each year passes, as a nation, we risk the very distinct possibility of losing the significance this day had on our nation. If you were not old enough to realize what was happening on that day, and the months that followed, you have a very different understanding of how it changed this nation.

For those who were old enough to realize the reality of what we saw on our televisions, there is no way time can erase the emotions that were experienced when those planes flew into the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and crashed in the Shanksville, Pennsylvania field.

We’ve all heard the quote by poet and philosopher George Santayana:

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

For those who do remember the past, the importance of educating those who do not remember the past is vital! Though they cannot remember, if we do not teach them what happened, we have no hope for the future.

Wayne Bell is someone who understands the importance of educating our children about the reality of what happened that fateful September morning almost ten years ago.

Mr. Bell is the publisher of Really Big Coloring Books, Inc., in St. Louis, Missouri. He has created a unique way to teach older children about the terrorist attacks on our nation with a coloring novel. It’s not just a coloring book, and it is not meant for younger children. Mr. Bell says the coloring novel is for children about the age of 9 to 11-years-old.

“We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kids’ Book of Freedom,” is a memorial tribute. Mr. Bell says:

“It is an informational piece to help educate children on events on 9/11. [It is] a simplistic, honest tool.”

Mr. Bell goes on to say that the novel is a “12-hour narrative of the events that happened on the day that forever changed America.” Kids can color pictures of the twin towers, President George W. Bush, Americans mourning the attacks, and other significant images depicting that day.

It’s hard to believe that an educational book could cause so much controversy, especially when it is something so important, but that is indeed what Mr. Bell is facing with his coloring novel.

It should not come as a surprise to anyone that in our day and age where political correctness outweighs the facts so often, there are many people who do not want reality to be presented.

In fact, Dawud Walid, the Michigan representative for CAIR (the Council on American Islamic Relations), calls the novel “disgusting.”

“We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kids’ Book of Freedom,” refers to the jihadists as “freedom-hating radical Islamic Muslim extremists.” Mr. Walid is not happy with the fact that almost all of the mentions of Muslims also have the words “terrorist” or “extremist.”  He feels that by only portraying the extremist side of the Muslim religion, a disservice is being done to all Muslim Americans who were impacted by 9-11. Mr. Walid says:

“Little kids who pick up this book can have their perceptions colored by those images … it instills bias in young minds. Muslim mothers lost sons too.”

Mr. Walid also argues that the information and pictures in the novel are incorrect. One instance he says is incorrect is that Osama Bin Laden “wasn’t hiding behind a wife when he was shot.”

However, Mr. Bell disagrees, saying the book is an “honest depiction.” He went on to say:

“The truth is the truth. It’s unfortunate that they were all Muslim and that’s the part people want to erase … I don’t know what else you can call them.”

Mr. Bell appeared on Fox & Friends this morning. The full interview can be seen here:

FEC Suspends Decision on Foreign-Born Presidential Candidate

Today, the Federal Election Commission took up the last remaining question that foreign-born Presidential hopeful Abdul Hassan asked them. Can he receive taxpayer money to run his presidential campaign?

Mr. Hassan is a Guatamala-born naturalized U.S. citizen. The Constitution says that only natural-born citizens (or those in the U.S. at the time of the signing of the Constitution) can be elected President.

The members of the committee remarked that the larger than normal number of comments seemed to have come from regular people – not the usual collection of lawyers. It would appear that Americans had a lot to say on the issue and the commission listened. One commissioner noted that the comments included the basic question, “Are you serious, can he really get taxpayer money to run for an office he can’t legally hold?”

Several other points were made during the session. First, if they let him collect matching funds, to run a campaign for an office he cannot hold, are they not aiding and abetting a fraudster? This test probably should have been applied to the other three questions that would allow Hassan to take money for his campaign from those who would be sucked into his fraudulent endeavor.

After about 30 minutes of discussion the panel decided to work on a new opinion, with changed language, but no clear direction. The panel will have to reconvene to decide this question.

FEC To Allow Foreign-Born Citizen to Run for President

The six commissioners of the Federal Election Commission are being tasked with a Constitutional question: Can a foreign-born citizen run for President of the United States?

The Constitution strictly forbids anyone but a “natural-born citizen” from becoming president, but it does not restrict candidacy. Now, the FEC won’t either.

Guyana-born New York attorney Abdul Hassan would like to file papers, take campaign contributions, and collect federal matching funds for his candidacy. Two draft advisory opinions from the FEC may let him do just that – even though he can never be sworn into that office.

Hassan had posed four questions to the commission.

1) As a naturalized American citizen, will Mr. Hassan be considered a “candidate ” or “person ” running for President under the Act?

2) As a naturalized American citizen, is Mr. Hassan eligible to receive presidential matching funds under the Presidential Primary Matching Payment Account Act?

3) As a naturalized American citizen, will Mr. Hassan violate 2 U.S.C. 44Ih(b) if he solicits and receives contributions for his presidential campaign?

4) Is Mr. Hassan required to comply with the Act’s provisions regarding expenditures, contributions, record keeping, and reporting?

The opinions state that he can be a candidate, can collect campaign contributions and would be required to disclose his campaign finances to the commission. The difference between the two opinions is the question of whether or not he may receive federal matching funds for his campaign. Draft A forbids him from collecting the matching money and Draft B sidesteps the question as “hypothetical”.

Why Hassan is pressing this issue, with full knowledge that he will not win the election and even if he did, could not be president is not immediately clear. It could be the slippery-slope approach that liberals take when attempting to erode the power of the Constitution. Before long, the FEC may be questioning the definition of “natural-born” or “citizen”. It would only take a single challenge to his candidacy to open a legal case that would ultimately end up in the Supreme Court.

The Constitution does not define “natural-born citizen”. That term is defined in section 8 of the United States Code of  Laws. This challenge could open up the question of whether the U.S. code is an accurate or Constitutionally-acceptable definition. Semantics are the tool of the left and they may be at work to change the application of a fundamental clause in the U.S. Constitution.

This is not the first attempt to circumvent the natural-born citizen requirement to be president. More than 20 amendments to the Constitution have been proposed to change the requirement. Perhaps the most famous being one that was intended to allow Henry Kissinger to serve as President.

The FEC could vote on the opinions as early as Thursday and for either opinion to be accepted, four of the six commissioners must agree.

Public comments must be submitted by Noon on Wednesday August 31st, 2011. Those wishing to comment on the Draft A or Draft B of the Draft Advisory Opinion 2011-15 should follow these directions:

  1. Comments must be in writing, and they must be both legible and complete.
  2. Comments must be submitted to the Office of the Commission Secretary by hand delivery or fax (202) 208-3333, with a duplicate copy submitted to the Office of General Counsel by hand delivery or fax (202) 219-3923.
  3. Comments must be received by noon (Eastem Time) on August 31,2011.

What America is Obama from? – Not Mine!

Wednesday evening Obama spoke during an Iftar Dinner at the White House celebrating Ramadan. Now some of you may know what the Ramadan is, but there might be a few that don’t know what it is. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, which lasts 29 or 30 days.

It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and sexual intimacy with their partners during daylight hours and is intended to teach Muslims about patience, spirituality, humility and submissiveness to Allah.

During his speech he made a comment that I would call frightening. “Like so many faiths, Islam has always been part of our American family, and Muslim Americans have long contributed to the strength and character of our country, in all walks of life.”

Really? I mean did he just say that? Is he so ignorant of the American history? In my last article I proved that America was founded on Christian Values. So, where does Islam fit in, Obama? Those weren’t Muslims  present when the Pilgrims first landed? There was not anyone signing the Declaration of Independence,  practicing the Islamic faith, and no Muslims signed it.

Were there any Muslims fighting for our freedom from England? There is no mention of any in the history books that tell the history of how America came about. So, Obama I can say without a doubt that not only are you not eligible to be the president of the greatest nation on Earth because your father is Kenyan, but a sitting president or a candidate for president should at least know the history of the United States.

Besides Obama “praising” Islam, where are the Atheist on this? They attack Christians because we have faith in God and Jesus Christ – whom will deliver us from evil, as long as we do God’s will.

Matthew 6:9-13 Our Father in heaven,  Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts,  As we forgive our debtors.  And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen

Muslim activists in the West have been using the tactic of claiming that they worship the same god as the Christians in order to gain legitimacy and acceptance. One does not have to look very far to see the “God” Muslims serve is not like the one true God I serve.

14 centuries ago Mohammed started preaching his new religion in Mecca he was conciliatory and appeasing to Christians. He told them: “We believe in What has been sent down to us and sent down to you, our God is the same as your God.” Surah 29:46. But later, in Medina, after Mohammed gained strength, Allah then tells him to “Fight those who believe not in God nor the last day. Nor acknowledge the religion of truth (Islam), (even if they are) of the people of the Book, until they pay Jizya (tribute tax) with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued“. Surah 9:29

Yes, under the Old Testament law God was cruel with the people – but we are not supposed to live under the Old Testament laws now. Ever since Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of our sins we are to live under the New Testament laws. But nowhere in the Qu’ran do you see Allah making changes for believers to live by.

Atheist activist are upset and trying to remove everything related to the one true God,  but have been quiet about Muslims trying to implement Islamic religion into the United States. At least Christianity is a peaceful religion unlike Islam.

The website Bare Naked Islam had an article about Islam Billboards going up along the New Jersey Turnpike. While most billboards you drive by on the New Jersey Turnpike advertise things like hotels or cars, the billboards getting attention recently advertise a certain religion and are stirring up controversy. The reason I do not like this billboard is the fact that they used the American Flag underneath the word Islam – it is just not right. The only part of American History that Islam is part of, that most Americans will remember is Sept. 11, 2001.

MyFoxNY.com notes in an article about these billboards that drivers on the turnpike aren’t the only ones who will see these billboards. Similar ads are going up on highways in dozens of other states. One thing is for sure Islam is NOT nor was it EVER a part of the history of the United States. Obama, I think instead of going on vacation in a week or two – should stay home and study about the history of America! Folks please remember all these blunders that Obama has had in the past and is still having them.

New Book on Radical Islam Declares: ‘This Is the War of Our Generation!’

Dr. Jim Denison Explains to Westerners ‘Why Muslims Still Hate Us, What We Can Do’

DALLAS, July 26, 2011 — On the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, author and educator Jim Denison explains in his new book, “Radical Islam: What You Need to Know,” that the greatest threat our children have ever faced is Muslim extremism. “The battle waged against the West by radical Muslims is the war of our generation,” Denison says. “Killing bin Laden doesn’t end this war.”

James C. Denison, Ph.D., is a cultural apologist, building a bridge between faith and culture by engaging contemporary issues with historical, scientific and biblical truth. He founded the Denison Forum on Truth and Culture (DFTC) in February 2009 and writes for “The Dallas Morning News,” contributing weekly to the “Texas Faith Forum.” He currently serves on the board of the Baylor Health Care System and as chair of the advisory board for Dallas Baptist University. Denison is former senior pastor of Park Cities Baptist Church, a 10,000-member congregation in Dallas.

Dr. Denison’s daily cultural commentary is made available around the world to thousands of subscribers. It offers a faith perspective on topics as varied as medical ethics, the 2012 election, the Casey Anthony trial, gay marriage and many more topics.

“The events of 9/11 are still painfully raw for many,” said Dr. Abraham Sarker, former Muslim and founder and president, Gospel for Muslims, who has worked alongside Denison in his native Bangladesh. “Ten years later, questions remain about the world’s fastest-growing religion and the worldview of its 1.6 billion adherents. Jim Denison’s book provides a timely, insightful interpretation of this movement in our times. His understanding of radical Islam is accurate and balanced. His intellectual brilliance and excellent communication skills engage and support readers in navigating these complex issues.”

“Radical Islam” begins with a look at Osama bin Laden, the Al Qaeda leader killed in May in a U.S. Special Forces raid in Pakistan, and examines the ramifications of bin Laden’s death, including whether it was just. The book goes on to explain what distinguishes radical Islam from the rest of the Muslim world, then addresses basic questions: “Where was God on 9/11?” and “How Do We Win This War?”

“It’s been my privilege to know and befriend Muslims from six continents through respectful dialogue over the past 30 years,” said Denison. “But the fact remains that the threat of radical Islam is even more real and dangerous than it was 10 years ago. Osama bin Laden is dead, but his story isn’t over. His followers are more resolved than ever.

“This book is a primer that tells Westerners what they need to know about this threat, why radical Muslims still hate us and what we can do about it.”

Denison briefly touches on basic Muslim beliefs before focusing on the two tenets that distinguish radical Islam. First, extremists contend the West has been attacking Islam since the Crusades, and therefore Islam must be defended through violent attacks. Second, radical Muslims believe all Westerners are complicit in the ongoing siege of Islam because of their participation in a democratic society, and therefore in terrorist attacks on the West there are no innocent victims.

Faced with this worldview, Denison writes, both Christians and secular Westerners must act. He offers practical ideas on how to handle the threat, including praying for Muslims and supporting Christians from Muslim backgrounds.

“Radical Islam” will be available in August as a trade paperback for $13.99 and distributed by Wescott Marketing. It also will be available as an e-book Aug. 15 through all major e-book sales sites.

The first chapter, which explores bin Laden’s life and whether his death was just, along with an opportunity to subscribe to Dr. Denison’s daily cultural commentary, are available at http://www.dftc.co/presskit.

“Radical Islam” is the first in the “Unlocking the Truth” series of books offering a spiritual perspective on key cultural issues facing America. Denison is also the author of six books, including the most recent, “Wrestling with God: How Can I Love a God I’m Not Sure I Can Trust?” by Tyndale House Publishers.

The Denison Forum on Truth and Culture (DFTC) (http://www.denisonforum.org) exists to engage contemporary culture with moral truth. Founded by Dr. Jim Denison in 2009, the Forum responds to issues through a variety of communications and channels, including a column in “The Dallas Morning News,” daily online cultural commentary, Baylor Health Care System board membership, books, articles and speaking engagements.

Who Does He Think He Is?

Being President does not give Barack Obama the authority to speak for us. Our “Representatives” in Congress do a poor enough job of that. Who on earth does he think he is, saying that America wishes to have Israel return it its 1967 boarders? Those boarders were crossed when the surrounding Muslim Countries decided to threaten Israel with certain annihilation.

Israel is a Democratic Republic very much like our own. They have a similar constitution, and the same three branches of government. They have one Legislative Representative Body of 120 members called the “Knesset.” The people elect the Knesset through many political parties every 4 years. The Prime Minister is now elected directly by the people. There is also a Judicial Branch with a Supreme Court much like our own. They are the only example of truly prosperous people in the Middle East.

In 1929, Arab attacks on ancient Jewish communities in and around Palestine caused them to migrate and immigrate for their lives. Between 1929 and WWII they moved throughout the world and were persecuted (Germany was but one drastic example). Only in the United States were they treated with any level of respect (certainly not without prejudice).

As is the Muslim way to stake their claim, the Arabs built a large mosque atop the most prominent Jewish place of worship. That mosque is known as “The Dome of the Rock.” Finally at the close of WWII the British, who controlled the Arab lands of grater Palestine, “solved the Israeli homeless problem” by giving them a portion of their ancient homeland to build an independent nation, “Israel.” The Dome of the Rock mosque stands in Palestine today protected by Israel as a Muslim holy sight despite the fact that it covers their own holy sight below it.

Muslim Law forbids giving up lands once conquered; therefore the existence of Israel was instantly an offense that they must rectified. This position has not changed and certainly shall not change in their eyes. In 1967, surrounding Arab nations, supplied by the USSR and fueled by Soviet misinformation, mobilized along Israel’s boarders with an expressed and undisputed intent of wiping out Israel. The Israeli Government and Military knew that allowing the Arab’s to attack first was certain death. Only after exhausting every diplomatic avenue, the Israelis pre-empted the attack with a swift and decisive 6-day victory over the many times larger Arab coalition. Thus they gained control over the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and many other large parts of the region (such as the Sinai Peninsula). Arabs to this day will point out that the Israelis attacked them without mention of their own provocation.

Israel returned much of the captured land with the exception of those areas of Palestine necessary for their security. They relocated all the Arabs living there to other Arab nations and took in about as many Jewish refugees from those Arab lands. Muslim sects, (mainly Shi’a & Sunni), as well as Arabs of different nationalities, harbor a great deal of distain for one another. Therefore displaced Palestinians were generally treated poorly in other Arab nations. However, Israel is a common enemy for which they readily conspire and literally compete to destroy. These Arab nations actually care very little for Palestinians, yet the “plight of Palestinian refugees” has become the single largest excuse for Arab hatred toward Israel. They call Israel the “Little Satan” and the US is called the “Big Satan” because we so strongly support Israel. Although generations have passed, the business of hating and destroying all Jews (Christians, and the US) has become central to a great portion of Arab culture.

Since the establishment of the Jewish homeland in 1948, the US has been the largest supporter of Israel. Despite having no oil, Israel has flourished as a shining successful Jewel of democracy in the Middle East amongst a host of oppressive oil rich Arab tyrannical regimes. The recent revolts in Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Libya, and spreading throughout Arab nations are anything but a transition to democracy. It is an open blatant expressed and obvious “Caliphate” to a unified Muslim cause. Sharia Law is absolutely not democratic or sensitive to human rights. Although Muslims sects bicker bitterly and lethally, they are uniting under a common cause to slay the Jews, then to create a prophesized worldwide blood bath for anyone who is not Muslim.

Political Cartoon - A.F. Branco - SchooledHistory demonstrates that Muslim fanatics need no more than an excuse to carry out the most heinous of attacks. For the US President to say that our nation desires Israel to revert to its 1967 borders is tantamount to a promise in their eyes. Our politicians’ practice of taking quotes out of proportion and context is novice by comparison to the misinformation machines known as news in the Arab world. Although Israel could never consider such a thing, President Obama continues to recklessly promote the pre-1967 borders without consideration for our actual desires or what that mere suggestion will do to fuel Arab Muslim dissatisfaction. Arab hatred for Israel will run ramped each time Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has to disillusion and disappoint them contrary to President Obama’s words.

Who does he think he is making promises that Israel cannot possibly keep? He also proclaims US intentions to insure Israel’s safety and security. However those two statements are mutually exclusive, short of permanent US military occupation of the Golan Heights and Gaza Strip, we could not possibly insure any such security. Clearly no one, Arab, US, or Israeli, wants that.

There are only two reasons a President would advocate such an untenable deal. The first is that he is that ridiculously unaware of the historic, social, and religious powder keg dynamics of the region. It is nearly irresponsible for a man in such a powerful position to act so recklessly even if he didn’t know any better. The second is much worse, that he does know better. It is shockingly disturbing to realize that this is the more likely case, given his heritage, upbringing, education and interests.

That would mean President Obama wishes to put Israel in another impossible position similar to 1967 where they would have to fend for themselves against an even larger Arab Muslim Caliphate Coalition bound by generations of festering hatred. The thought of a sitting US President being that tainted, is unfortunately beyond most citizens’ ability to comprehend. Therefore too many Americans will dismiss it with all other things too complicated to understand and left to our “authorities.” But isn’t that the problem? Given enough authority, a President need not be careful, benevolent, or accountable.

In typical Liberal/Progressive politically correct doublespeak, President Obama will travel to Egypt in June for a “Peace Talk” that will almost certainly fan the flames of Arab Muslim expectations. Israel cannot possibly extinguish such an inflamed Caliphate without igniting a backfire of great proportions. It has become all too predictable that Liberal/Progressive terms actually mean exactly their opposite. President Obama’s “peace plans” and “peace talks” shall have exactly the opposite effect.

Who said, “By their fruits ye shall know them.”? Oh yes, Jesus the Christ, a Jew from Nazareth (in Northern Palestine) some 500+ years before Mohammed was born. Can you give something back to someone who did not exist when it was built?

God knows what will happen.
