As conservatives, we’re lucky to have some very talented groups and individuals in our midst. Too often, we’re told that it is “unfashionable” to be patriotic, and that showing pride in our nation and ourselves is foolish. Well, we know better.
Here are two examples of conservatives showing that the liberal contention that our National Anthem is not relevant is wrong. First, here is Madison Rising. They are trying to get to 5 million views on this video by July 4th, so please do encourage your friends to take a look:
Next, here is Ava Aston and Alphonzo Rachel (of Pajamas TV’s ZoNation). Mixing Ava’s country vocals with Alphonzo’s blues guitar definitely is an interesting (and beautiful) mix:
CDN Radio has interviewed members of Madison Rising on the air and CDN has posted several of the band’s videos to the site in hopes of sharing the work of a group of great Conservative rockers. Now they need help getting their new tour kicked-off and we’re all-too-glad to help.
Wanted to let you know that Madison Rising has launched a kickstarter to help finance new recordings and a tour. The goal is to reach new audiences and spread the positive message the band has been spreading. The goal of the band is to give the people PATRIOTIC music to listen to and to get them thinking of issues at hand. Lets get our country back! Lets bring back American Pride and Patriotism with positive music.
What You Can Do To Help Make It All Happen?

Madison Rising – which launched its debut album in October, 2011 – brings great rock music back into the forefront of popular culture. With songs ranging from the lyrically powerful and guitar heavy opening track “Right To Bear,” to the hauntingly epic sounds of “Honk If You Want Peace,” to the beautiful violins and cello of “Hallowed Ground,” it is clear that this band is on a mission to not only make great music, but to also send a message that American culture is alive and well.
The band well-known for their stalwart support of our military men and women has knocked another one out of the park. Here is Madison Rising’s Memorial Day tribute – a video and musical salute to our troops. Remember on Memorial Day.
Following the tragic loss of Andrew Breitbart, the Conservative blogosphere and media have been filled with memorials and accolades to his life, principles, and tenacity in achieving his goal of setting the Conservative message against the main stream media. The constant theme of them all is that Breitbart was a warrior for the cause, and an example to set before all involved in fighting the barrage of skewed information presented by the main stream media. Andrew set out to ensure that even media in pop culture was countered when he created “The Bigs” and added Big Hollywood to its ranks.
An article in The Atlantic Wire makes the thought provoking statement that Andrew himself was trying to make: the Conservative movement can’t just happen in blazer and cocktail dress filled rooms, or in e-vite organized Tea Party events, or even on Twitter and Facebook groups. It has begun to surface in the places that would have made Andrew more happy than anything: in pop culture. And it’s growing.
Movies like “Act of Valor” , endorsements by celebrities of Conservative candidates, and the willingness of more celebrities to talk openly about being Conservative, are what Conservatives need to encourage to help keep up with the constant barrage of anti-conservative messaging in pop culture.
The Atlantic Wire mentions Breitbart’s quest for a Punk Rock Republican as being unfinished. I would suggest that the author of that post never met the guys from Madison Rising. A recent interview with lead singer Dave Bray, and talking with the band in general, has proven that Breitbart was on to something. These guys fully intend to do their share to bring Conservatism to the rock area of pop culture.
New York, NY – Dec. 4… Madison Rising will not skirt the law. The pro-America rock band
wanted to procure a legal permit for a live anti-Occupy Wall Street performance. A full week was spent on a
wild goose chase around New York City where various government agencies were visited in an effort to
pull a legal permit for Madison Rising’s “Take Back Wall Street” concert in Zuccotti Park on Tuesday,
December 6, 2011.
Madison Rising endeavored to celebrate capitalism with a concert and to thank the hard
working women and men of the NYPD, FDNY, and on Wall Street. After finally ending up at Brookfield Office
Properties (owner of Zuccotti Park), Madison Rising was ultimately denied a permit on the day Third Eye Blind
performed to Occupy in Zuccotti Park without a permit.
Madison Rising, a rock band that released its debut album last month, is fueled by an eternal gratitude
and love of our country. “Right now, ignorance and apathy are running wild amongst our citizens. Right now,
we need to get people thinking about issues that really matter. We hope Madison Rising will inspire that,”
said Dave Bray, Lead Vocalist, Military Veteran.
Conservative Daily News is a proud outlet for the Conservative band Madison Rising. We last featured “Walking Through That Door”, the bands incredible tribute to our troops.
Their newest release is a rebuke of the Occupy [insert city here] protests and demonstrates the obstructionist and selfish nature of the protests:
The band Madison Rising is debuting its first album today, which includes the song “Honk if You Want Peace,” lambasting the Occupy Wall Street protesters as college slackers and “tie-dyed slobs.”
The song, which tells the story of a father trying to get a daughter to a hospital through roads choked by protesters, debuts on the very day that Occupy Wall Street protesters are blocking traffic and businesses across the city. How ironic. (from a post by the band’s PR representative Bill O’Reilly)
Patriotic lyrics set to modern, rocking music! Now, THIS is what I’m talkin’ about!
This is the official video for “Walking Through That Door” by Madison Rising. This is a truly talented band with a message every American should hear. Though every single lyric of this song is perfect, the line that gets me the most…..
“The call of duty came and I went with pride.”
A special “Thank You” shout out to our very own A.F. Branco for introducing us to this band.
